1. Forgery is one of the oldest crimes. Authentication of wills, etc. is a typical part of law practice. The advance in computer technology has heightened both the need and the validity of document examination. In a thorough and readable book, Dines explains the current issues and use of document examination. I am impressed by this book.



2. This book provides an extensive survey of the entire field of document examination. It serves as an instruction manual as well as an historic and technical reference. Its contents are well organized and accessible, making this complex subject easy to understand. I highly recommend this book for both new and experienced document examiners, as well as for attorneys, investigators, and others who are interested in this field.



3. This book is so full of errors and unintelligible passages that it should be avoided by the naive and curious (in case you believe the information) or the experienced (who probably already know not to waste their money). Occasionally, the book is unintentionally funny. After all, how often can you find a book that provides erroneous information AND is badly written? Both thumbs down. Unfortunately, there is no choice in the field for minus 5 stars.



4. Forgery is virtually the "oldest crime." This book explains and answers the ins and outs of how to recognize and deal with it. It is both a reference and textbook containing all aspects of forgery including the use of the newest type -- the computer. It is a "must" for your library. I can't say enough good things about it.



5. I have never seen a book on the subject of questioned documents with this many errors. The pathetic grammar is bad enough but not dangerous. The technical errors in this book, and there are dozens, are dangerous for novices who might not know any different. Avoid this book like a contagious disease. There are valid, professional books on this topic by Ordway Hilton, Wilson Harrison, Roy Huber, Albert S. Osborn and others. I wish you allowed negative ratings, because 1 star is not nearly low enough for this book.

1. The author had provided lively examples throughout the book as she illustrated the basic concept of graphology. Review exercises also helped in checking the understanding of the readers towards each of the topics. This is the first book for me on graphology and I have fallen in love with this "Art of Graphology"!!



2. this was an excellent book. It really made me interested in graphology. Ann Mahony goes into great detail to show us how our handwriting is the blueprint of our thoughts and how it is reflected in our personality. She explains how word spacing, line width, writing pressure, word size, word slant, style, and signature all ties into our personality, who we are privatly and publicly. I recomend this book to anyone who is remotely intersted in graphology or just seeking for insight to understand people more. Graphology is a very detailed science but it is so easy to learn.

1. I came across this book quite by accident and I am so pleased that I did. I had no idea that someone's handwriting could divulge so much personal information. Once I started reading Love Letters, I was inspecting everyone's handwriting trying to determine their personalities, it was great fun! Thankfully, after studying my fiancé's handwriting, I found that we are a perfect match! I loved this book and will recommend it to all my friends! Cheers to Ms. Roberts for sharing her fascinating knowledge of graphology.



2. I'm enjoying Love Letters tremendously as it is not only entertaining but extremely informative. Once I pick it up I find it difficult to put down. It's presented in an easy-to-read style with numerous clear and interesting examples of handwriting.

   In searching through the book looking for insights into your own handwriting traits you hope that you haven't been revealing to the world that you are 'frugal,' 'secretive' or 'boring.' I can assure you though that after this wonderful course of instruction each time you put pen to paper you'll be wondering
   what you are telling other knowledgeable folk about yourself.

   Of course, a great benefit will be having some additional insights into the character traits of any new relationship that you are contemplating and, thus, heading off at the pass any pitfalls.

   Everybody can benefit from Love Letters as it brings into sharp focus an area of awareness about others that you may have overlooked previously.




3. A different and fun book. Full of interesting stories and
   the exercises at the end of each chapter are enlightening. This would be a nice game for a party. It's always fun to have different (and useful) information.



4. This is why handwriting analysis and graphology are not given any respect. All this book does is profile handwriting of celebrities from a "love" standpoint. It is not at all entirely accurate to graphology standards and the author does a poor job of the analysis. Many of the samples could have many meanings in regards to intimate relationships, but only certain aspects were covered thus exposing the authors limited knowledge of this subject. While it does cover several celebrities, it is a very slim offering.
   
   If your looking for parlor tricks to amuse your friends, this is the book for you. If you are a serious student, do an Amazon search for handwriting analysis books. There are much, much better books on handwriting analysis out there by trained experts in the field.
