1 comments about It's Gonna Be A Great Day!.
- This is an excellent "self-help" book, especially for children who are timid or may be suffering from separation anxiety. The story demonstrates the power of positive thinking in the form of a short, clever story about a young girl who believe's "It's gonna be a great day."
If you enjoy spending quality time with your child, or have one who has been reading on his or her own for a while, this is an excellent value and a positive and beneficial book.

2 comments about My Somebody Special.
- My 3-year-old goes to preschool daily. It's perfect - she really enjoys it but she is always happy to come home at the end of the day. "My Somebody Special" features happy daycare "kids" (actually animals - a fox, a kitten, a hedgehog, a puppy, etc.) who are still excited to see that it is THEIR mom or dad coming through the door at the end of the day.
On one page, a "parent" comes through the door - the fox-mama for example, and the text asks a teasing question about which 'kid' she/he is looking for ("Whose belly is soft and pink as a rose?" for the hedgehog.) The next page reveals the answer as the parent snatches up her loved one with a big hug. My daughter enjoys matching up the parents and kids on each page; the rhymed text is easy for her to remember and the pictures are really sweet. But I confess to liking it at least as much as she does. I guess I identify with the fox-mama: I enjoy walking in the door in the evening and spotting my Special Someone at least as much as she enjoys being spotted! A must for all kids in preschool and especially for all working parents.
- We got this book when my daughter was 3, it was a favorite then and she just turned 5 and still loves it. A very sweet book with a nice message- that mommy or daddy is always going to come back to get you at the end of the day. I like the fact that the characters are different animals and not actual people so children of all races can relate without feeling excluded.

5 comments about 10 Things to Do Before I Die.
- I absolutely love this book. It's funny in a sad sense, and sad in a funny sense...
I want to live my life to the fullest like Ted Burger.
- Fun, Fun, Fun!
My friend Joe loves DANIEL EHRENHAFT.
And, now, I do, too. Great!
- I loved this book, I was laughing the whole way through, especially when Mark decides to get drunk and order a prostitute :) and Ted is the one whose dying.
- This book was so awesome. I have trouble finding books that I actually enjoy reading. This one, is an exeption. It is just so different from all the other books that I have encountered. The way that it is written is just so enjoyable to read. I read this book in 3 days. Not because it was easy...no...no...because I couldn't put the book down! I was even up in the middle of the night JUST to finish it! This is an totally killer book, i highly reccommend it for teens, especially those who don't find reading "fun", because this book'll change your mind!!!
- this book is the@most retarded book ive eve read. its poorly detailed and badly written. its the most stupid topic ever. i hate it.

1 comments about Anxiety: A Condition of Modern Man (Volume 2 of the VISUAL Series).
- Jean Gebser is a pioneer in the area of integral thinking and the evolution of consciousness. This is a short book with colorful and interesting watercolor designs on every page, which was a pleasant surprise. The illustrations add worthwhile visual depth to the concepts presented on each page. It reads like a children's book for adults with the most profound of the modern adult's conditions in mind: anxiety. This is not a study of Anxiety, but is rather Gebser's short reflections on its role in our lives, how it is necessary for life to exist, and on how it must be overcome in order for life to truly flourish. A quick read, I find myself returning to it continually to uplift, re-orient, and re-enjoy my own life. Every page could be quoted, but these are a few of my favorites:
"Love presupposes not only the Thou, but also and above all, the I. Only where there is a true, selfless I can the Thou come forward. Without I there is no Thou; without the We which originates within us, there is no Love."
"Uncertainty is inherent in life, but so is trust. Whoever awakens trust within himself can accept fears without Anxiety"
"Conquest of Anxiety implies the acceptance of reality, the acceptance of divinity in ourselves."
These are the practical conclusions of one of the last century's brightest, though often overlooked, minds who devoted his life to understanding anxiety and its role in constructing the modern mind. Presented in a colorful, highly approachable, and lasting way--highly recommended. (Also highly recommended is his much more serious study, "The Ever-Present Origin," also available through Amazon.)

4 comments about Release and Relax (The Ultimate Healer Foundation Series, Volume 2).
- I use this music in my massage therapy sessions and I love it! I have had great results with my clients being able to unwind and release the stress of the day much quicker with the music. Before using this CD, it took more time for my clients to attain a calm state during their massage. Almost every client comments on the music, too. They know that it makes them feel good. It is also very helpful for me because it keeps me feeling great while I work.
- I've been having some stress problems at work lately and sometimes I can't decide if I want to throw something or cry. I bought the set of CDs and this one is an absolute lifesaver. One of my favorite things to do is play it on my way home from work and it helps me "de stress" and be able to greet my family with a smile when I get home.
- Having using relaxation music in my classes and personally for many
years, I am disappointed in the sound quality and the 24 minute
length of this CD which seems very short for the purpose and price.
- I love using this for everyday stress, particularly at work, and have found it to be effective and lasting. The effect this CD has on my mood and attitude is continuous, and it's always refreshing to play it not only on particularly hectic days, but also at home in the evenings for the beautiful music.
