- I really enjoyed Reeni Fenholt's book. It addresses an issue that we have seen many times from a secularistic viewpoint, but rarely from a Christian viewpoint.
I too am an ex-minister's wife and I am horrified by the abuses in the Christian homes across the nation. More appalling, is the fact that it is also in the homes of men we call pastors, evangelists, and teachers. I believe it starts at the pulpit and filters down through the church. It is time for the ex-wives of these "divinely called" men to speak out. I admire and respect Reeni greatly for being one of the first to do so. Reeni's book should be read by all. Not only should it be read by women that are being abused, but by others so that they can understand the devastating ramifications of this abhorrent pattern that permeates our churches and society at large.
