1 comments about Animal Spirits the Shared World Sacrific (Living Wisdom).
- This lovely little book should never be allowed to go out of print. It is one of the first two books I recommend to anyone who is interested in animism and shamanism. This book does more than convey important information--though it does that well--it conveys a sense of understanding.
Archeologist Nicholas J. Saunders seems to truly know the animist/shamanist worldview. His books are concise, well researched, beautifully (and appropriately) illustrated, and easy to read and understand.
I also recommend his book Cult of the Cat (Art and Imagination Series), which goes more deeply into the amazing beliefs and spiritual practices centering on cats (from jaguars to house cats) from the dawn of time to today.
Saunders's books are so full of amazing information that you will want to reread them time and again, and they are so beautifully written that you will reread them.
Read this book to understand how our ancestors thought and felt about animals and why they revered them, and to understand the origins of how we feel about animals today.

3 comments about Touched by Angels: How Angels Influence Our Daily Lives.
- I just finished reading this book and I must say I enjoyed it tremendously. I am new to the study of Angels and this book is a great place to find a better understanding of how Angels can have an influence in your life.
- I was particularly intrigued to read the experiences and understanding that Flower Newhouse has in the world of angels. She presents a comprehensive perspective on the many ways that Angels communicate and work with us. Together with some simple techniques that help initiate the contact with Angels, the author brings these heavenly beings into our relationships and our daily lives.
- I have been an Amazon customer since the beginning. I ordered this book in good faith that it would be delivered promptly as I had come to expect. To my dismay it didn't arrive. When I checked it was listed as "undeliverable" The address was correct so said Amazon and DHL and I live in a safe neighborhood. USPS and everybody else leaves things on the porch. None the less it was "returned" to Amazon and no one gave me an explanation or gave a hoot about the fact I didn't get my book. I was refunded my money and they shorted me by $3.00 so for $3 I got a big disappointment and no explanation.
Not a good deal. I am in the market for an on-line book seller who is on the ball and can get me what I ordred. I wonder if anyone from Amazon reads these reviews. I doubt it.

1 comments about Worship of the Serpent Traced Throughout the World and Its Traditions Referred to the Events in Paradise.
- This book deals mostly with the Old World but does briefly discuss the New World. the Author makes a very good arguement for his point, but fails to see that the conclusion reached could very well be from another reason - such as a common beggining locality therefore simular beliefs.
