Recipes>Banana Ice Cream

1 1/2 Cups milk
1 1/2 Cups heavy cream
2 eggs beaten
1 Cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 Cup pureed bananas
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Heat milk, cream, eggs, sugar and salt in a double boiler until thickened and will coat the back of a spoon. Chill in fridge, or in ice bath.

Stir banana puree, vanilla, and nutmeg into custard. Pour into container of a 1 1/2-quart electric ice cream freezer such a Cuisinart Ice-20; freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
