- Probably as most of you know there are two major browsers which are Netscape and Internet Explorer. I have both and and like both but they are quite different Netscape supports the basics and more. While Explorer does support support quite a bit but mainly DHTML. It also has an E-Mail account and AOL's Instant Messenger 3.0 and a Word Processor. It's all fairly simple to understand the browser whithout having a great deal internet knowledge and I believe that Netscape is one of the best if not the best.

- I have used numerous different e-commerce applications, and this is one of the more thourough versions that I have seen. Complete listing of unlimited items, graphic support, customizable templates, and much more is yours for a fraction of what an item with this many features usually runs. I would recommend this product to those who have a basic understanding of where they want their sites to go. A plan is a must with this product. A great way to get into e-commerce.
- While I found the concept and price in line with what I wanted to do, the implementation was another story. I did not have the ability to create enough branches on the tree structure to make my site the way it would make sense. Couple that with the product crashing often and rewriting my layouts and graphics made it very frustrating. Customer support wound up telling me to use the tool menu to rebuild the data base, (Not well covered in the manual) which does fix most problems but you have to do it over and over.... Their main response at the end after trying to give a lot of relevant feedback was that "this is only version 1.1, we're still working on it". Makes me wish they were not in such a hurry to get it to market. Bottom line: If you have a small shop with a few items, (12 for their instant store settings) then it will be fine. If you are doing a bigger store or have say 12 product lines or more, the known bugs will blow you out of the water and you need to look elsewhere. It just is not flexible enough or stable enough.

- I uninstalled this program because I ended up spending more time dealing with it than it took simply to delete spam messages every morning. It is not capable of detecting messages with forged headers and does not provide an option for automatically deleting messages from foreign countries, which constitute a tremendous amount of the spam I receive.
- I bought and installed I Hate Spam on Outlook Express. In spite of careful setting of filters, it continues to place good mail in 'Deleted' and put garbage in my 'Inbox'. But, that is not the worst of it!! I have uninstalled it from my computer and it CONTINUES to interfere with my email and delete my good mail. I CAN'T GET RID OF IT!!
I Hate "I Hate Spam".
- As a small business owner, my inbox used to receive a constent flow of Spam, that is until I installed "I HATE SPAM".
I have tried other products before, but this one is easy to use, and does actually work.
- This software only catches half the spam I get. When it misses emails with text such as "Banned government CD" I have to wonder if they guys are updating their software at all.
- I used this software for a year thinking I was doing the world a favor by waiting for it to bounce spam back to the senders, but I have found that it is a good idea with poor execution.
Problems include:
- Causes Outlook to fault and Outlook is always asking me if it can disable it.
- Sloooooow updates. The update process takes about half an hour and it slows my not-too-old computer to a halt.
- Spawns many processes that use up all my computer's memory. If I look at the task manager when my computer is slow, I see eight or more IHS processes running (80-120k), most of which are the largest programs running. I have attempted to give them a low priority, but it doesn't help.
- I think it is just a poorly developed program. I can close Outlook but IHS never shuts down. Great big program running all the time doing nothing but eating up my computer memory. If it were well behaved, I would think it would shut itself down with Outlook.
- Supposed to put people I send mail to in the "friends" list and that doesn't work ever, at all.
- Whenever I upgraded, I would have problems and the nice support people would tell me to cclean out all my saved filters so I would have to start all over.
- Those saved filters seem to eventually confuse themselves, so you can't just accummulate them because once they stop working, then the whole program gets confused, keeps spam and quarantines the good stuff.
- The program bounces mail back but the work that demands of my computer is huge and really slows things down. I can't figure out how to turn that bounce off.
I've pointed out these issues to their support and they tell me to reinstall, but that hasn't worked the two times I've tried it. So, I've given up on IHS. Too bad.

- I bought the security suite and now find that it is nearly impossible to get assistance. They have blocked me from logging onto e-bay and refused to accept my acknowledged password. My account was locked and I still seem unable to unlock it with their new assigned password (which was given after they refused to accept the one I have always used before. I am not happy with my inability to get on e-bay even after submiotting the appropriate overrides. Terrible software until they fix this problem for me. Don't buy without further review. Norton isn't much better either. I had no problems until these programs created glitches.
- I have just uninstalled this garbage so that I can actually download emails from my server!!! For some reason my main email account server kept asking me for my password even though I submitted it many times! It just so happens that the email accounts that are NOT affected by spam were logged in and out successfully!!!
DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
- Spamkiller must work for some people - but who? I have tried it twice - 2 different versions, 2 years apart - and it (a) froze Outlook, (b) crashed the PC, (c) corrupted the pst files (the data storage for contacts and emails), (d) swallowed and lost the emails that came in during the frutrating hours of trying to put things right. The 2nd time it came bundled with Internet Security Suite 2006, which is OK - apart from SpamKiller. After installing the suite, uninstall SpamKiller before you run any programs. You have been warned!! At very least PLEASE back up your data first, and give yourself 2 or 3 hours spare time to rectify things in case the system freezes up.
- The whole deal is that you have to delete ALL your e-mail POP3 accounts and create new ones, directed to and through the McAfee site. Otherwise, it doesn't filter anything.
Yeah. I'm gonna do that, delete all my accounts. I have literally a dozen accounts for work, all with rules designed to protect my main account from spammers and route other stuff to approriate files. Wipe 'em all? I don't think so.
To make matters worse, Spamkiller removes functionality (at least in Outlook Express) even AFTER it's uninstalled. I can no longer click on a link in an e-mail and have it open up a browser window. I'm back to the ridiculous old AOL method of copying-and-pasting... or even right-clicking to copy the target URL if the address is actually longer than what's displayed for convenience.
Now I'm Googling to find out how to rid myself of the last, aggravating remnants of this GARBAGE. Seriously, do NOT buy this awful software. I was a big fan of McAfee -- their Firewall and VirusScan products are very good. But I've been burned to a cinder by this whole Spamkiller experience. It's unbelievable. I wish there was a way to give it ZERO stars.
- Do not under any circumstances buy this awful product; I cannot believe McAfee, which has decent Firewall and AntiVirus software could bring out such a bad product; it's almost as annoying as the Spam that it doesn't filter.
If you put this rubbish on your PC, it will take ages to filter all the messages each time you open Outlook Express and then it will put about 1% of any spam into your junk folder and a few that are not spam.

- The Cam Kit is fantastic. It was easy to install and simple to use. I was videochatting with my friends in no time. I was really surprised at the quality of the video and audio. When I connected to CU-SeeMe World.com I was very impressed with this website. There were a number of different channels to choose from and the site even enables you to create your own chat room on the fly...very cool! I plan on spending a lot of time in CU-SeeMe World. This is a great product to give as a gift to friends and family. I gave one to my parents and they absolutely love to videochat with their grandchildren.
