1. This package of little programs, such as a rotating cube screen saver, different types of calculators, etc. was essential when it came out. Even now, years later, it still runs on XP. I haven't checked it on my Vista (a chorus of Boo!'s) system yet. If you have a system running an older version of Windows were you can't see a folder of pics as thumbnails, just as details, then you need this for its ability to display thumbnails.
   
   Heck! It's worth it for the entertainment value of the developers. The guys/gals that wrote this include a couple who are obviously in love. And enjoy using the gal in all sorts of silly outfits for sample pics. You can't lose buying this. I bought my copy on impulse why checking out at Fry's years ago. My favorite all time purchase. At the time, it was invaluable for sorting through folders of photos by looking at the thumbnails.
   
   May Kiki and the gang have gone on to as much fun as they clearly had doing this.

1. When I ordered this product before Thanksgiving, your description indicated Apple compatibility. I am glad to see that you've changed your blurb because it was incorrect. It does NOT work for Apple products. (I called Webroot to verify.) We Mac users need Macwasher.



2. I first got the trial version from my uncle (he brought it over on a floppy) I installed it and washed windows for the very first time! It cleaned up over 200mega-bytes of space. Just yesterday i washed windows and voila i got a ton of space! This is a great program, and Amazon.com has a very cheap price.[...]because not only is Amazon a trust worthy site, but they're reliable to get your product here in good timing! So if you buy this GREAT product, be sure to get it @ AMAZON.COM!!



3. I had used another similar product called CyberClean for many months. I recently downloaded Window Washer and ran the thing. After a minute or so, it reported back that 362MB of disk space had been freed. I had no idea that much junk was on there; it really piles up. I have now purchased Window Washer for a permanent place on my computer; goodby CyberClean. By the way, all my other programs still work.



4. Brought this program because the reviews said it was a great product; so you think. BEWARE!!!! This software worked well, and too well, a matter a fact. It cleans the folders it's suppose to, and did a great job as far as freeing up hard drive space. That bleaching feature even works great too. It really does get rid of files permanently. The only thing it did that I did like was deleting an important registry file that store all your restore data, thus which, you can't do a system restore if this file is deleted. If you configure the software porperly, you'll never have this porblem, but, as for me, I was lucky to have McAfee Office, which has Uninstaller; enabling me to restore the deleted registry file after a wash.

   To sum it all up, I'm sticking with Uninstaller. It may not work as well as Window Washer, but it doesn't delete an important system and registry file needed to keep you computer running smooth. Though Uninstaller lets me clean my ststem manually and requires about an hour to do, it time well spent knowing I won't lose any important files.




5. This software is very easy to use. It has a user friendly interface. If you share a computer with other people you should use this product to protect your privacy. It cleans your pc up to Department of Defense standards. This prevents others from using a software to undelete whatever personal information that you have deleted. If you have an old operating system such Windows 98, ME or Windows 95 you really should get this software. It is also a good idea to use it before donating your old computer to make sure all of your personally identifiable information is completely deleted. I have used this product and can say that it really does work.

1. This program was really a disappointment. As mentioned previous, the templates are real weak and limited and really offer no value. The e-commerce capabilities are not intuitive and overall I found it to be a waste of my money. Shareware offers better products.



2. ...BR>I do NOT recommend this software for anyone considering building a personal or e-commerce web site. The package comes with 2 manuals but there are NO recommendations as to which one you should start with. If building an e-commerce site, you are forced to pay an additional $... for a "credit card license". PayPal, I believe is free. You are forcing me to "shell out" additional cash just to test my application. No tutorial comes with the software, you must pay extra for that. You are restricted to ASP. You need an additional tool, which you must purchase for JSP. There is nothing intutive about the software and it is difficult to use. I do not understand how they sold so many copies as they claim.



3. Worse piece of software I have ever had the displeasure of using. I live in Mass and thought why not give them a try, they are from here, ha never again!

   I'll explain just a few of problems with this software. Documentation comes in 2 books web building and e-commerce .....it covers the software functions accurately. No problem there the problem comes in it's not user friendly. You can't develop or customize freely, "shopping cart side of the software" you have to pay Boomerang for that. So if you want a to add to our delete parts of the shopping cart you're out of luck, unless you are a programmer and love getting into the middle of database structure that's laid out in the templates provided. No way to add in options that aren't default, such as paying by paypal, discover, or many others not listed in the program. You have to pay extras for that. Your choice is limited to what's there on their templates and that's it. I could go on and on but this would become a book. This software is so limiting that after spending weeks on it......I was so disgusted and frustrated that I started looking for something else.

   The people at Boomerang did answer all emails to their credit. The price was reasonable @59.99 , but has taught me a very valuable lesson indeed, "You really do get what you pay for" I will never forget that phrase for as long as I live now.

   I develop web sites for a hobby, so I have seen good software packages and bad ones, but not of this caliber. I was in a hurry and needed a shopping cart for a friend that I was helping. She's on a win2k system which is part of the reason I looked into this program.

   On a positive side, the web developing part of the software is actually pretty good......but that's not what I bought this for......I wanted a shopping cart for e-commerce, not web building.....it's pretty much wysiwyg. If they named it "Webshop web building" that would have made me look elsewhere for a shopping cart. Their idea of a shopping cart ..., IMHO, but what do I know.....I was stupid enough to buy it. I just know I will never buy anything from this company again!




4. No idea if it can work at all. Other owners specify Boomerang Software charges for all aspects of this product...extra!! NO DECENT DOCUMENTATION. Understand a totorial can only be had for extra money!



5. I purchased this product without reading the reviews first, DON'T BUY THIS. I wasted time reading the instructions to figure out how to develop a commerce site and realized that numerous steps were skipped or out of order. I contacted technical support with questions and suggestions and their response was just as vague/unhelpful as the lame manual. I never did get the commerce features (tables) to work, but it looks like when you download orders or update products that the website has to be "locked" while you do this. What a pain!

1. This gizzmo catches about 1 of 4 pop ups and unders. Gambling ads have it completly flumoxed. It seems to be able to choose if it will load when you log on. Sometimes it will actually ID your home page as a pop up and stick you inside of some kind of a loop. My suggestion? With pop ups be coming more and more annoying, some software co. has to working on a better product.
   Be patient.



2. It's called "Pop-up Stopper". Maybe I'm missing something but, shouldn't it actually stop pop-ups?



3. This is the main program that I use to stop pop ups and I've found that it works very well for both Internet Explorer and Netscape. I also suggest downloading the "Spybot" software which will help prevent some pop-ups that are based on what sites you are surfing (Spybot blocks their spying capabilities) as this is the one area where I've found that "Pop-Up Stopper" doesn't always work.



4. Everything is easy to implement and works quickly. This product really works great on ALL Internet explorer ads, and I loved the fun and easy to use features in the browser toolbar The company also had great customer service, I personally think that is rare to find. I would also recommend some of the other products available by Panicware...they were easy to use too.



5. i used this program for a few weeks.. works ok .. but i then got the google tool bar for free i like its pop up stopper better.. check it out its free...

1. I tried several web page software products before I found Web Easy, and this is by far the best, most robust, and easiest to use product in this price range.

   Features I Liked:

   1. Intuitive design and layout of the editor.
   2. WYSIWYG, Drag and Drop simplicity. This really is WYSIWYG. Just drag and drop some clipart on the page editor. Type in some text and drag it to where you want it. They stay right where you put them! Amazing! No fussing with tables or layouts.
   3. Dynamic HTML: Rollovers, page transitions, dynamic links, animations, etc. are all a snap. Most of the work is already done for you behind the scenes.
   4. Link editor: Whether your linking all your pages together, linking to other web sites, or linking to a custom script - you can do it all with just a few clicks of the mouse.
   5. One button preview. Just press a button and see and test your website right on your own computer.

   Features I didn't like:

   NONE! Go buy it - you won't be sorry!




2. I bought this software because it said you didn't need to know HTML, and that it was for "Professional" websites. I feel that it is misleading.

   If you want to make a small, simple website with some blinking graphics and a few easy links, then this program is ok. If you want to make anything more complicated, then get something else or learn HTML and website design so you know what all the "features" they don't explain are for.

   The documentation that comes with the software is only for the simple features. You have to go online to get any substantial help, and then it really isn't that thorough. You do need to know something about HTML.

   I finally got a website designed after reading the documentation that came with the program (several times to see if I was missing anything), consulting the online support several times, and using two HTML reference books, and lots of trial and error.

   Yes, this program has lots of advanced features, but it doesn't tell you how to use them, or at most, you must really dig to find the info.

   If I seem to be rambling it's because I just got done creating the web site and I feel tired, frustrated, and lied to.




3. I bought Web Easy Pro without knowing anything about web site design. Web Easy taught my quite a bit. for all I learned I wont' get my $... back for what I paid. Text blocks will publish as GIF, Then right when you think you have finally published a working site, the thing looks like ..... Then you have to juggle things through trial and error, then you might have it. Then it will pick an arbitrary page and make it your home page.

   Web spiders don't even stop by Web Easy pages, thats gotta hurt business!!! Oh, and for a kick if you use meta tags, Web Easy uses its' own instead of yours.




4. I've been using web easy for 3 years now, and I have to say that overall I like this product. Some of the complaints of other users I have not found to be a problem. You can write your own meta tag descriptions, including titles to pgs, description of web site and key words. Search engine crawlers DO stop at web easy sites. It does have many advanced features, which I am still discovering. But here are the drawbacks. First, you cannot import HTML files into the program. This can be a bummer if you find a template for sale or for free on the interenet that you really want to use. Instead, you have to save the template then open it up from web easy and piece it back together again as a drag and drop. Once you have it pieced back together you can save it as a template and use it for all of your pgs. Second, the program limits how long the titles of your pgs can be. If you want to lengthen your titles, build your site, then open it using Microsoft Exporer and click on view/source and change the title in the HTML and save your changes. It's not really that hard. Third, the URLS of the different pgs are always 001.htm, 002.htm, 003.htm and forth. The program cannot change this. If you want to change it tou have to do it directly in the HTML by openning it up in Microsoft Explorer and changing the HTML. It takes for ever to change the URLS that way. But I have found many ways around it's defects, and am able to build some pretty decent looking sites with it. For under $..., it really is a good deal. It is ideal for a beginner, particularly. The next step up is WebEditor 5.5 and it costs $..., almost 2x the amount.
