1. Program is easy to use with any Avery product. Once the product is identified by product number (easily visible on all products), the program does the rest.



2. While this is one of Avery's most poplular products, and one of the best on the market, it falls short in one area. When you do a layout, you should be able to remove the grid, and have "cross hairs" to aid you in alignment. It's a small thing, and the average person may not require it. But especially for business cards, it needs a few more features. Everyday design though, makes this a top program full of artwork and is easy enough for even a novice to design with!



3. This is an excellent program for ease of use and versatility. The only problem I have encountered is that it is difficult to incorporate some graphics onto the labels. Business and personal applications are nearly limitless!



4. It's nice if you're using Avery labels you just select the number. But, not all Avery labels are listed, and the size isn't listed in inches to choose from that.

1. As a serious amateur photographer, starting to sell some work and getting more into the craft of the digital darkroom, I was thrilled to discover this quite intuitive digital darkroom software. I downloaded the 30 day free trial from [...] and made a point of NOT consulting tutorials and such so that I could test it's ability to make me feel comfortable about the whole image management and development process. I found it to be as easy as any software I've ever learned, and I encourage you to take the 30 day trial and play with images that are near and dear to your heart - I've been able to fine tune images that I never thought would be much to observe into much more respectable images that I am proud of. I found a comfort level very quickly, and I hope you can too. PS: I am not the type of photographer who loves the whole "darkroom" gig - absolutely nothing wrong with that, but I'd rather be shooting and then developing quickly. Hope this helps...



2. This is all the amateur photographer needs. Links to CS & Elements for more detail modification if needed. Update to 1.4.
   This product just keeps getting better.



3. I found it to be inconsisent on the PC, on my laptop it rus without problems, on my descktop (same os - xp) it crashes on export and hangs alot. Photoshop has no problems on the system on Lightroom. If you are into digital photograhy, this product is a must buy. Will see how it works on a new high end desktop, otherwise I will wait till I get a Mac to reall use it.



4. great program to white balance all your photos that you shoot in raw format (nef). Color correction is easy and so is exposure and white balance. I dont like the way it imports or saves items, can be a little tricky in that area, otherwise this is a good program to get the professional finish to your pictures for the best picture and color quality.



5. Lightroom does many things well. Cataloging and adjusting images is easy. Uploading images to a web site is easy. Uploading to photo sharing web sites is easy with some free Lightroom plugins. Printing is easy. If you are using iPhoto or Picasa and are looking for something better, Lightroom is worth trying.

1. First the problems: I began using this product under Windows XP home edition and found several bugs. The metronome and tuner would not work, and the menus had extraneous symbols. None of these were a killer, but a bit annoying. Then I switched to my old computer running Windows 98, and everything worked fine.
   For the program itself, it's great! There is video of the instructor (sometimes with a split view to show both hands), songs to play along with, an animated fretboard, audio clips with more suggestions or reminders, a guitar chord dictionary, and the aforementioned tuner and metronome. Portions of the music can be selected to repeat, to aid practice. The songs include the voice and guitar parts. A very good program for a beginner bassist.



2. I'm in my 40's and was able to pick up my father's 30 year old electric bass and learn how to play very quickly. I've been using the program about 3 months and try to play 1/2 to 1 hour every day. Besides learning the songs included in the program I have been able to play Cream songs Badge and Sunshine of Your Love by teaching myself.
   
   As for the details:
   1. There is no problem with XP. I have a desktop and a laptop and both run the program without any problems
   2. Tuner works great and is very very helpful
   3. The program records your playing whenever you want. It is easy to use
   4. When playing songs you can turn off the bass line in the song, leave the bass line in, or just play the bass line without the music
   5. Moving between lessons is painless and very easy
   
   I can't say enough about this software. It's great and I am only on lesson 43.
   
   You won't be disappointed with the software. It's a good investment and you will be very happy with the results



3. I think this is a great product for beginners, but I do feel that he moves a little too fast after awhile. I do recommend it for beginners, although I wish someone would come out with something that would interact with you a little more, "game-like".

1. Do not buy this or any Cosmi or Starshine software. It installs Spyware on your computer and it will take an expert to get rid of it. Don't make the same mistake I did!
