1. I could not even complete installation. There security scheme would not allow me to run on XP. After registering at the 'support' site, I had to email them. They emailed a 'fix' that required elaborate data entry and reading codes of the rim of the CD. After all that hassle, just a message that the 'unlock request had been submittewd' and then nothing. I can't believe that I wasted the 20 bucks and several hours on what is no more than garbage. The one positive factor was that i got a laugh out of their Sgt Shultz attempts at english on the support site.



2. I have no idea how this product works, I cannot get past the installation process. I have Windows Vista, in which, according to the box, is Vista compatible.

1. I am an amateur to the world of mac /computers in general, so with that being said... I have chosen, "Mac Fonts 2" for my first review!!! I found the installation to be a little confusing and very time consuming. I was hoping to be able to install all fonts at once, instead of clicking on each individual font. The good news however, is that the" Mac Fonts 2" has 1000 fonts to choose from and a great variety for whatever the occasion may be. The quick reference guide provided with this software indicates that both true type,and open type fonts are available; the open type format is designed to work cross platform on macs and pc's, however, you must have compatible software. I give this software a 3 for moose rating.

1. it's not autocadd, but it's for a mac. it's ok, saves files as dwg. so, you can transport files to/from autocadd. that's the biggest plus. it's not autocadd, but for a mac, it works fine.

1. Since version 6.5, each upgrade offers very little in terms of tools or enhancements. However what the motion graphics community can expect with each upgrade of AE, is a more crash-prone product. On a new workstation loaded with RAM, I've experienced sluggish performance, slower renders and a couple of crashes a day. Seems like a regular occurrence with other users as well.
   
   Let's hope Apple makes their animation software (Motion) much more appealing in the months to come. It may inspire Adobe to make a better product again.



2. Effects isn't the only Adobe product in the CS3 family that crashes. We are having issues with all of them. Photoshop which doesn't normally import huge files is now crashing our Mac G4. I'm running Sony's Vegas Video at home which has quite a few "effects" add-ons available from other vendors. If Adobe doesn't straighten this out maybe Sony will take up the slack.



3. I just purchased Adobe After Effects CS3 Professional used and abused the program without a hitch.. no crashing... an awesome program. I must add I'm running a PC 3.3 Ghz , SCSI HDs with 4 gigs of ram... I have Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 as well as PhotoShop CS3 extended edition. I acquired PhotoShop when I only had 1 gig of ram, it crashed several times until I upgraded to more ram. Haven't had an issue since the RAM upgrade



4. I have used this product as well as almost all the other CS3 Products and have not once experienced any crashes or what not and I use only PC computers. Never a Mac and have run it on my Home brew computer and a ASUS laptop and a cheap Dell computer and on all three I have not once experienced any problems. I have 2 gigs of ram on all three computers and all are AMD x2 400 to 4200+ cpu's
   
   Excellent product and would recommend it to anyone. Though find yourself a user guide if you have not used the CS3 softwares before.
