  1. Love this printmaster cd. I have purchased several of the printmaster cds and have loved them all. With each new printmaster, your printmaster program is updated to the newest version. This software makes it easy to print letters, brochures, newsletters, sale signs, graphics for scrapbooking, craft projects, calendar pages and many applications. They are very user friendly and easy to learn, just through playing with the program.

  1. it's not autocadd, but it's for a mac. it's ok, saves files as dwg. so, you can transport files to/from autocadd. that's the biggest plus. it's not autocadd, but for a mac, it works fine.

5 comments about Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 8.
  1. For all you guys needing a program for creating hip-hop tracks, this is PERFECT. You can import files from your computer or a cd into the program.
You can edit loops. If you have a good soundcard, you can get ill and plug in a keyboard, and just wild-out. I must recommend Acid Music Studio 6.0 for a complete package!!! You can lay down the edited loops in Acid Music Studio 6.0...YOU WILL BE SATISFIED FOR HIP-HOP MUSIC PRODUCTION.

  2. Audio Studio works fine to transfer LPs to CD. It is easy to reduce pops and clicks. It does not take all of them out automatically but if you spend enough time you can take out the ones it misses. It has a lot of other features that I don't use.

  3. Installation of Sony Sound Forge was a breeze. Then, best part of all, is the FLASH (or whatever it is) tutorials showing you exactly what buttons to hit. I hooked up a microphone and had a live audio recording in minutes. Kudos to Sony for a well designed product and tutorials.

  4. i bought this product being i hate using cheap microsoft 192 encoding for my mp3s. this product allows you to encode high quality and its easy to use. alot of options that i will never even use for editing as well.

  5. Those guys that own the music studios don't want you to know that you can take any music or any sound bite off the tele and record it with this nice little program, edit out the blank spots and then teleport it into your mp3 player. Unless you aim to be one of those music studio wonks, you won't want to spend any more on a "fancier" product, because this Sony Sound Forge product will do all you'll ever need. Hey, maybe you'll even start up your own band, package it up with Forge and head over to Youtube and be richer than a music studio tycoon.

  1. If you want to get started in CAD, but aren't sure it's for you, then this is a great investment. For $10 you can design just about anything your little heart desires. The learning curve is not that bad, but the documentation is not that good. (That's why four stars)

This product is not too complicated, and using it will let you know if you need to invest in a more feature filled version.

I use it to design projects for my home workshop. It has made a noticeable improvement in my milling and lathe work.

Next, I'm going to try furniture.

  2. I work with AutoCAD at work but I needed something to plan my re-modelling at home and this product is perfect for that.
WHile it might not have all the features ACAD does (remember you are buying it for lest then 1% of the cost of ACAD), it has all you need for a small type of project and is very easy to use.
The package actually combines House Design software (separate) and the CAD soft.
    Highly recommend!!!

  3. I trained on and used two much more expensive CAD programs before I retired as a facility director. This program is a terrific value and is much more sophisticated than I had expected.

5 comments about Roxio Easy Media Creator Deluxe Suite 10 [OLD VERSION].
  1. I've now had the chance to use roxio's Mac version, Toast 9 and see that it has enough technical differences with Easy Media to own both. It isn't just a matter of having to different OS's.
My biggest problem with version 9 was the installation but since I'm now a Vista user I went with version 10. I no longer had the program asking to initialize each program before using. Instead it went straight to working wihtout any warnings. It was the same pc too. I don't know if this is Windows or Roxio or both but the results were better. This saved a lot of headaches.

The look of the product has really changed, all positive. Some odd apps are now in categories that make more sense. It also makes sense to put the audio recorder app in the Windows toolbar since you never know when you may want to use it. I will record audio from interviews, even if there's picture because I don't have time to watch the whole thing. Then I use the program to send it to my iPod and listen at my convenience.

I was able to learn a lot about video editing from version 9. Ver. 10 has a few more features. As long as I upgraded I got Deluxe to get the Pinacle converter. It took no learning time and was as simple as plug and convert. There are a lot of themes available in cinemagic so you don't have to search around for graphics. It's easy to make a vacation or birthday video and have a set of menus ready. Videowave is easier than it looks. It works in tracks so you can manipulate each track and together they change the video. It's not drastically different than version 9, but it was enough for me to change.

  2. I have been using this product or its predecessor's for quite some time. I am currently using EZ MC 9, however not all of the software functions properly. I had upgraded to 10 hoping it would fix the problems, and I was disappointed to find out it trashed my computer, causing a complete re-install and much pain. If hindsight were 20-20, I would have stuck with version 7.5 as it was the most stable. I have had little help from Roxio support, and their recommendations are similar to what other's have said, not practical. I do not recommend any Roxio product at this time, perhaps they will get it right in the future (I doubt it).

  3. Roxio Media Suite is by far the very best audio and video program out there. I have been using it for about a month now and am amazed at how easy a projest is to do. I like it because its an all in one program for my audio and video needs and is extremly easy to learn how to use. It produces professionally prepared video projects in a snap. I would highly recomend this product, but get the complete Suite version because it contains everything you will need to produce audio and video projects.

  4. I have used several versions of this program over the past 5 years...don't ask me why.
The lastest version is even more glitchy...if that's possible.
My latest problem was trying to load the media manager..it won't load.
I always receive an error message saying that the progrom won't load because it has stopped. How can it be stopped...it won't even start !
You can only get help via e-mail unless you want to pay and pay.
The problem is...even the CUSTOMER SERVICE program is full of bugs...Everytime I try to create a service ticket...and then hit send..I receive an error message.
What a mess. Don't buy this program unless you have a lot of time on your hands...and enjoy being fustrated.

  5. Worked great when I first installed it. Then tried to use iTunes, and the registry settings changed so iTunes won't record to a CD - so far have not been able to fix it. Even WORSE my PC won't play disks anymore. Have tried 4 or 5 suggested fixes, and no luck. I wish I'd done a search for problems with Roxio before buying--there are many sites noting the same problems, and for many versions going way back. You'd think they'd have gotten it right by now. At least search before you buy (search "uninstall Roxio"), you'll see it's impossible, even with Microsoft's uninstaller.
