1. This is a very lite version of Magix Music Maker. The loops are not compatible with other Magix Music Maker programs. When using the loops with other Magix Music Maker programs the programs seem to freeze or lag(I have a 2.8 P4 Sony Vaio Laptop with a ATI Radeon graphics with 512 memory on a 40 gig Hard Drive).This is a great beginners program it is simple and easy to understand. The loops are perfect for kids. This version of Magix contains alot of computer animated cartoons and simple music loops. The music loops are kinda cheesy ,but this is a kids program. Do not expect anything special for adults.



2. I could not even complete installation. There security scheme would not allow me to run on XP. After registering at the 'support' site, I had to email them. They emailed a 'fix' that required elaborate data entry and reading codes of the rim of the CD. After all that hassle, just a message that the 'unlock request had been submittewd' and then nothing. I can't believe that I wasted the money and several hours on what is no more than garbage. The one positive factor was that i got a laugh out of their Sgt Shultz attempts at english on the support site.

2. A caveat: I am inexperienced in computer graphics, attempting to acquire the quickest and least frustrating way of creating a camera-ready document.

   Approaching this program as an inexperienced user, my aim is to create a simple business card, professional looking and cost-efficient for printing (assuming 1-color ink vs. 4-color). This is a no-frills, user-friendly program, with a very low frustration quotient (extremely important for the unskilled user). With some knowledge of design and layout, and assuming a modicum of good taste, this program is more than sufficient. The formatted designs offer a broad range of styles, and a limited choice of colors. If the card is to be commercially printed, it is necessary to confine the colors to one or two, because of the expense involved, and this program appears to take this fact into consideration. In addition, in the "help" section, it is possible to locate (and print out) directions to change typefaces, styles, formatting, etc. For the relatively inexpensive cost, this program is well worth purchasing as a precursor to acquiring more extensive skills in graphics programs.

1. this program is very easy to use. My daughter finds it very useful for her classes of guitar.



2. program was a little difficult to load but once it was loaded it ran great. Nice step by step guidance to learning to play. I would recommend this.



3. I do not recommend this software if you prefer to use standard music notation. Everything is in tablature-they should have explained this in the description.

5 comments about Movie Magic Screenwriter 4.7 [Old Version] (Win/Mac).

1. I was one of three guys sharing an apartment for one year of film school. I had MMS, the second guy had Final Draft, the third guy had neither; borrowed both. He ended up buying Movie Magic.



2. I've used Final Draft and have found it to be "clumsy" and somewhat difficult to use in addition to not having enough features (and more expensive than Movie Magic).
   
   Movie Magic has everything you would ever want in a screenwriting AND novel-writing software program.
   
   I just bought this newer version and it's excellent. It's much easier to use than the prior version and it's very easy to write a novel or screenplay with NO WORK (other than your imagination).
   
   If you're an aspiring screenwriting or novelist...Or an ACCOMPLISHED screenwriter or novelist, YOU SHOULD BE USING THIS SOFTWARE. It can only make the writing process MUCH BETTER!
   
   Highly recommended.
   
   Also, if you're considering Final Draft over this software, you're making a mistake. Get Movie Magic and you won't be disappointed. You'll be very glad you did..all up to the point where you're receiving your Best Screenplay Oscar!



3. I bought MMS out of sheer frustration with the other script software program I had been using for over 4 years. MMS is so easy to use, I almost forget I'm typing. No more manually capitalizing sluglines, worrying about sentence capitalization, wrylies and getting stuck between the slugline and action line, unable to move. Facing deadlines, I will stick with MMS and highly recommend it to anyone who asks. It's a breeze!!! Now I can actually focus on my story. Thank you MMS!



4. Great aid! This screenwriter automatically adjusts margins, spacing, and much much more! I highly recommend this to anyone writing a screenplay!



5. Kudos to the Write Bros. for putting together this easy to use screenwriting program. It makes staying in the moment as I write a cinch - something that is often challenging since it is so very easy for a writer (at least this writer) to give way to distractions. I also commend the tech support team - I have called with all kinds of questions and always get someone on the line quickly, who is completely proficient and cheery to boot. I give this program a real thumbs up to all writers who want to keep the process simple.
