5 comments about Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 3.0.
- I wish you could type in a keyword and let you sort through pictures to choose from like microsoft greetings. I like it but just not quite what I expected. Looking for better programs.
- I use Card Studio 2 more than 3. I expect when I get an upgrade that it will have all the old stuff with NEW stuff added. I found some of my favorites had been deleted on 3 plus when I added a picture from my scanner or camera that it came in distorted on the new version. I do find Hallmark Card Studio as a whole, very user friendly and I love the cards. I do allot of cutting and pasting and cropping to make different cards. I do not like the regular graphics (very simplistic and harsh for the most part) that come with it so I just use the ones off the cards. It would be nice if they would add a program to work with pictures that you import in. I often make cards that have graphics from several different programs, and I use this as my home base.
- This product is not worth the money I spent on it. It allows you very little access to creativity. Basically you print what's there the only nice feature of this entire program is the event minder to remind you of upcoming events. That's about it.
- This product is the worst. Changing text is a NIGHTMARE! How could Hallmark let their good name be associated with such a badly designed program. It is only Ok if you want a card exactly as formatted. We previously had an older American Greetings program that was great. My 9 year old could write birthday cards; thank you notes; etc. with no help from me. We changed or designed every card, it was easy. Now we have a new computer with XP and no adequate software options.
- This product sounds great when you hear what it is! But, if you have any computer smarts, you could do this on your own! If you have access to Power Point, you don't need this program! You can create your own! There is a VERY limited selection of cards and when creating labels, there are only a few choices for the different Avery label sizes. The ONLY good thing is the program already has the card and label sizes formatted for you! If I knew what this program was to begin with, I would have NEVER purchased it!

2 comments about Adobe Creative Suite CS3 Design Standard Upgrade [OLD VERSION].
- I bought this Adobe suite to primarily learn computer graphics and page layout software. The learning curve is so steep I lost time, money, sleep and interest. Couldn't Adobe come up with a Creative Suite Light for those of us who don't or can't spend years learning how to use these software packages?
- After having the usual glitches with Vista and Creative Suite CS2 continue with no fix in sight I decided to upgrade to CS3 and it cleared up nearly all the small problems that were encountered with the CS2 version. Creative Suite CS3 is used here at the USFS Mt Adams Ranger Station to make guides and maps for our forest visitors as well as plans for new construction and is used between 3 and 8 hours a day, seven days a week. No further problems noted though a new H/P 4750 printer was required to print InDesign and Illustrator pages exactly as they were laid out and appeared on the screen. If a designer is struggling with Vista and the CS2 version of Creative Suite upgrading to the CS3 version will bring some relief though keep in mind that the latest printers might be needed to show CS3's full potential.

5 comments about Macware Logo Design Studio.
- A agree with the former reviewer, this program is indeed not good. There is no Copy and Paste function, neither an Undo command. The text tool does not work properly, e.g. changing alignment from leftbound to centered has no effect at all. This program is also very slow. In my opinion Logo Desing Studio (Mac) does not deserve a single star.
- The other reviewers are accurate. Stay away from this product at all costs. Design is all but impossible with this extremely slow, buggy program. As a digital design instructor, I am highly experienced with a wide variety of design programs. I purchased this to test it as a simple logo generating program for my younger students. It's a complete waste of money.
- very usfull tool for begginer graphic designer and people who dont know very much about design...easy to use.
- Not a good program. Took me a couple of hours to design a logo that I can do in Printshop in about five minutes. Do not buy!!!!!
- I bought this product and returned it the next day. I agree with the other reviewers -- it's completely unusable, and it really shouldn't even be on the market. The clip art objects, when brought into a new file, were too gigantic to manipulate -- so huge I couldn't even find end points to resize the image. The zoom did not appear to work at all. The text box followed around my mouse's movements even though I clicked repeatedly to place the text in one place... How did this product get on the market?

- Wonderful story, and the pace keeps you going and going. Many plot twists, and the book stayed with me long after I finished it. Great new author... A Must Read!
- From what I've read, this was Steven Climer's first book. After reading it I now see why he won so many awards and honorable mentions. He set the bar pretty high for himself.
Dream Thieves sucks you in innocuously until you're tangled in the horrors of a man who can't dream. The imagery and surrealness put Climer right up there with Barker and Gaiman.

- Worked with the program for a week and couldn't get the hang of it. The programs help files are worthless. I finally just uninstalled it. If I wouldn't have thrown out the box it came with I would have returned it.

- I found this software to be just what I was looking for to enhance photos. It's very easy to use and provides a soft look to backgrounds with multiple adjustments for precise control of the focal area, depth of softness, degree of blending. Add a vignette for an additional adjustment.

- I wish I could give them zero stars.
Broderbund pulled support for software I owned only 2 years after it was released.
I was unable to install it because it required internet registration which was no longer supported. To solve the problem, they offered to SELL me a different software title.
They must have thought I was stupid. They expected me to give them more money???
This company has second rate software and third rate customer service. Do not buy anything from them.
- I have recently purchased this software for a some freelancing work that I have been doing in the real estate industry. I think this has been rather good software for the price. It is still somewhat limited in what it can do, but what do you expect for $80?
I am pleasantly surprised with this program and it's a nice change of pace from Publisher.
- Fletcher has posted the same review on all software made by this company - and I doubt that he has tried all of them. The truth is that "The Print Shop 20 Pro Publisher Deluxe" is a great value for the money - and is a wonderfully different approach to publishing than the Microsoft product.

- Try WebEyes.
WebEyes has a free 15 day trial, appears to be full version...so you can try before you buy. Particularly great for reading text of all kinds. Program will even put the text into book format and tell you how many pages if you prefer. A must for using the web as reference. Great for surfing web pages. You pick the type size, change as often as you wish, turn off and on as you wish. WebEyes does all the work. Very easy for the novice computer user. Does not use much on hard drive (about 2MB). Recommend to all.
- If you're a Baby Boomer a Senior or just spend a lot of time onine you'll love WebEyes! Instead of straining to read small type on Web pages, WebEyes lets you pick the size of the type by simply clicking the "+" icon. Reading articles becomes a lot easier because you can eliminate scrolling and read the article like a book. Read from upper left to lower right, then turn the page, just like a book. WebEyes is extremely simple to use and is inexpensive. I highly recommend it. It's the most helpful software I have on my computer!
- As a senior citizen, I find WebEyes to be a lifesaver for me in being able to read on the internet. This is an excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone who has trouble reading the small print.
