1. I found the Extreme Music Maker somewhat easy to use once I got the hang of it. It's so easy to create your own style of music with all the
   accessories and, I liked the "where my dogs" track the best. Its so easy to mix N match .. All U wanna be Idols.. this could be for YOU... As a part time DJ I like the beats and built in bass lines to start my own songs...



2. American Idol Extreme music Creator is the awesome thing! if u are looking for something to make your OWN ORIGINAL music, get this!!! because i wanted it so bad for christmas, i got it, and i WAS NOT disappointed!!! and if u get a PC microphone, which is really cheap, you can record your singing voice and make up lyrics to go with your music you just made!! then u can burn everything to make your own CD, AND you get to publish it!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!



3. This package is what I would consider to be the "Photoshop" of music editing software. If all you want to do is strip the vocals off pieces of recorded .mp3's in order to dub over them with your own voice, this is NOT the tool for you. I could not figure out how to use it and the Help was not very helpful.
   On the other hand, it does come with many different options and loads of separate guitar, drum, piano, etc. loops that you can use if you're savvy about synchronizing these things with other musical loops you already have. This is probably a good piece of software for composers and people who want to alter the beat, tone, pitch, etc. of self-recorded clips. I don't know why they advertise it as having anything to do with American Idol because it's fairly useless for singers.

5 comments about Broderbund Print Shop 21 Pro Publisher Deluxe [Old Version].

1. Could not find PrintShop Pro ProPublisher Deluxe version 22 on this site. Also could not find any FAQs or other assistance for this ver.22 on the Broderbund site but that may be a failure on my part.
   
   Several crashes on my XP system, the only software I have that does crash. Hoorah XP!!! The O/S and other programs running do NOT crash, only the ProPublisher dies a horrid death.
   
   Sure takes a loooong time for this program to load. Yawn.......
   
   I did make a couple nice brochures but they are no better than what other similar programs create.
   
   The lack of apparent support on the Broderbund Web site and that site's user unfriendliness adds to my doubts about the viability of this program.
   
   Not all humanoids can afford OR obtain a high-speed connection to the Webernet (Interweb?) Having to wait then wait some more then wait a little longer then wait while waiting for graphics to crawl their way across the telephone wires is tiring though the lengthy retrieval times can be a life-altering experience; I have developed a profound sense of patienceness that borders on a Zen-like experience that has allowed me to reflect upon my inner self, reach into my psyche to resuscitate my inner childishness and allow my feminine aspect of my gruff blue collar masculinity to peek out just a wee bit (I don't make little kids cry anymore by growling at 'em). I have also retrieved copious amounts of naval lint while occupying myself during those download times.
   
   But, life is short. I tire of the lengthy program loading time and graphic retrieval. I also dread the too-common crashes. I bought the program after observing the money-back guarentee so...off to the brick-and-mortar store I go.... to return this program. Now, off to reading the multitude of reviews scattered across the Wide Web of the World to ascertain what program will replace this sub-par Broderbund offering.

2. The only thing I don't like is you have to put the cd in everytime you use it. Other than that it is nice software.



3. The only thing I don't like is the internet requirement for a lot of the extras. If you have a computer with no connection or dial-up service, then don't get this. Learning to print your work is not easy at first. And yes it also asks you to insert the CD almost every time, just imagine if all programs on your computer were like this, you wouldn't be able to multi task... Other than that, it works but it is still too expensive for what it does.



4. THIS PUBLISHING PROGRAM HAS SO MUCH IN IT!!! I'M HAVING A BALL LEARNING HOW TO DO IT ALL. IT CAME IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, ON TIME, AND THE LOOK OF BEING BOUGHT FROM A RETAIL STORE.
   
   I'VE MADE SEVERAL LETTERHEADS FROM IT AND AM NOW WORKING ON LEARNING WEB SITE DESIGNS.
   
   I'WASN'T DISAPPOINTED IN ANY WAY. THANK YOU



5. I bought the Print Shop Deluxe 21 and also many other Broderbund products over the last 6 months and have several problems that needed tech support, they have little or no support for the products they sell, so my only option has been to return them. Apparently they don't care about their customers.

1. There is no way of recording repeating events. Why would they even sell a radio recorder that you can't even schedule repeating radio programs? Then of course they make about four other programs that do almost the same thing. And of course one of their other programs does have a repetive scheduler. Give me a brake can't these software companies make one good program instead of ten lousy programs. The same crazy strategy that Magix uses. I have emailed them many times and have not gotten one response

5 comments about Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe 3.0.

1. I wish you could type in a keyword and let you sort through pictures to choose from like microsoft greetings. I like it but just not quite what I expected. Looking for better programs.



2. I use Card Studio 2 more than 3. I expect when I get an upgrade that it will have all the old stuff with NEW stuff added. I found some of my favorites had been deleted on 3 plus when I added a picture from my scanner or camera that it came in distorted on the new version. I do find Hallmark Card Studio as a whole, very user friendly and I love the cards. I do allot of cutting and pasting and cropping to make different cards. I do not like the regular graphics (very simplistic and harsh for the most part) that come with it so I just use the ones off the cards. It would be nice if they would add a program to work with pictures that you import in. I often make cards that have graphics from several different programs, and I use this as my home base.



3. This product is not worth the money I spent on it. It allows you very little access to creativity. Basically you print what's there the only nice feature of this entire program is the event minder to remind you of upcoming events. That's about it.



4. This product is the worst. Changing text is a NIGHTMARE! How could Hallmark let their good name be associated with such a badly designed program. It is only Ok if you want a card exactly as formatted. We previously had an older American Greetings program that was great. My 9 year old could write birthday cards; thank you notes; etc. with no help from me. We changed or designed every card, it was easy. Now we have a new computer with XP and no adequate software options.



5. This product sounds great when you hear what it is! But, if you have any computer smarts, you could do this on your own! If you have access to Power Point, you don't need this program! You can create your own! There is a VERY limited selection of cards and when creating labels, there are only a few choices for the different Avery label sizes. The ONLY good thing is the program already has the card and label sizes formatted for you! If I knew what this program was to begin with, I would have NEVER purchased it!
