1. My two year old loves this CD! The songs are the tried and true favorites from Sesame Street. This is also one of the few children's CD's that won't make Mom and Dad crazy after listening to it over and over. I would recommend it for the youngest child up to the most fun loving adult. We love ours and have also given as a gift... They loved theirs too!



2. This CD has all of the classics that I remember from childhood and also sang with my now 11 year old niece. Now I sing them with my 9 month old daughter who loves them as well. Her favorite is the Sesame Street Theme song. Her toes just start tapping and her head starts bopping immediately.



3. I remember my Mom sitting me down in front of the TV in 1969 to see the very first episode of Sesame Street. I have never lost my love for these furry friends. My children all love the music. It's fun and catchy. Very entertaining!



4. As we cruse down the road my husband, my son and myself are all singing "C is for cookie thats good enough for me". I love the return of innocents and the res [...] of Jim Henson and a time before computer animation.

1. I grew up with these songs and am delighted to now be able to share them now with my two year old little boy! The CD covers the entire alphabet with easy to remember and upbeat songs about each letter. We have also given this CD as a birthday present for his two little girl cousins and it was loved by them as well. If your child loves Sesame Street this CD is a must! It's one of my son's CD's that I don't mind listening to over and over. I would highly recommend it!



2. Almost all Sesame Street products are of outstanding quality. This one is no different. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that I was looking for old school Sesame Street. Now that may sound funny but my kids grew up with Big Bird singing ABC-DEF-GHI. And now I am a grandmother and how I wanted my granddaughter to grow up listening to the same thing. But with the Elmo hype, this CD has Elmo singing that song. I do wish they had it the other way but other than that, this is an absolutely WONDERFUL way to learn and laugh through the alphabet with your child or grandchild.



3. My children love this CD. They are 3-1/2 and 1-1/2 years old. I bought this CD because I loved the album when I was a child. We listen to this CD every day and the boys have taken to day care where the other children beg to have it played. The only down fall to this CD is that the songs stick in my head which can get annoying at times. Well worth that minor problem to see the joy on my children's faces when they are dancing and having fun to the music.



4. Fun alphabet-related songs to have playing in the background during playtime. My 16 month old daughter enjoys the music while she's playing.



5. We used to play the tape 10 years ago for our kids when the were younger. We came across the tape recently and played it for an adult friend. He found it extremely catchy and humorous (as we did back in the day), so we are ordering the CD so we can share the fun.

1. For a toddler who loves all things Elmo/Sesame Street, and who loves music and dancing, this is a must have. Definately a favorite CD for dancing while making dinner or listening to on car rides.



2. I purchased this CD for my 2 1/2 year old daughter. She loves it! As soon as we get in the car, she asks for "her" music. The characters sing the songs. The music is upbeat and easy to listen to. We've only had it a week and my daughter has memorized most of the songs and sings along. Great purchase!



3. We purchased this CD for our two year old son who has Down Syndrome. He absolutely loves it! As soon as he hears it, he starts moving his arms back and forth (his dancing). I highly recommend it for any child who loves music and Sesame Street.



4. Baby loves these active songs. Parents can move along with baby. Much more exciting than lullabyes.



5. I'm the mother of 3 children ages 12, 5 and 2 years old. Even though I purchased this for my 2 year old who is a fanatic of Sesame Street especially Elmo and Ernie, my entire family enjoy the songs and sing along. Yes...even my husband who loves the Mambo song. My 12 year old wants to add the songs to her IPOD. Wonderful addition to our music library.

1. When your child spontaneously starts singing these songs, and wants you to sing along with him (WITHOUT the CD playing!), you know he loves it. And he's not even 2 years old. Whenever we get him strapped into his car seat in the car, he immediatly starts asking for "Music! Music! Street! Street!", for sesame street music. We've got this CD, the new All-Time Favorites one, and Hot Hot Dance songs, and he loves them all. If your kids like watching Sesame Street, they'll love singing along with the characters to these songs.

1. This set of 3 CD's had a great mix of classic and contempary Sesame Street songs.



2. About half the songs are the original television versions. But the liner notes for the other half list them as being "from" other COMPILATIONS released in the 1990s.
   Nowhere is it stated whether those compilations used the original versions or re-recordings, so who knows? Even the TITLE theme is not the original (It might be the version they use nowadays, but it's not the version most people know from the 70s).
   Sesame should have just used the original TV versions of all tracks as that's what collectors of vintage material would be looking for (and paying quite a lot for).
   They also should have focused more on the early years when the show was the most innovative. And as music was a major element, I'm sure there's a lot more material that could have been used, particularly those odd demonstrational songs about the number 5 or the letter R. Instead they've focused on the celebrity guests, most of whom don't really add much value.
   I personally hoped there'd be that funky counting to ten song that featured on almost every episode (not the Pinball one, which I love too).
   Disappointing, but until a better option comes along, this will have to do.



3. I bought this when my daughter was born, and two years later she still asks for them to be played. The set contains three CDs, on which are collected famous songs, and ditties from the Sesame Street show...favorites like C is for Cookie, Healthy, Happy Monsters performed by famous groups like REM and more. The songs are not just kid friendly, adults will enjoy the refreshing take on some old favorites too:)



4. I have always loved the music from Sesame Street, and as I have gotten older I have found that the next generation loves it just as much as I have, whether it be the older or newer songs. Since I bought this album, I have had it regularly playing at my sons' request. Funnily enough, anyone who walks in to our house smiles when they hear the music, ask what the album is, then sit back and enjoy it all - regardless of whether they have ever watched Sesame Street or not. Furry and real voices have universal appeal whatever the age of the listener! A beautiful album.



5. If you grew up on Sesame Street - or just want some music for kids that isn't annoying - this is the box set for you! The songs are clever, amusing, lively, and educational. We bought it for ourselves as a trip down memory lane before our son was born - and since then it has been our favorite baby shower or first birthday gift! Everyone who has it loves it!

1. I am well into my young adult-hood and I LOVED Elmopalooza, the movie. When I saw the soundtrack was being sold I secretly knew I had to have it. I love the soundtrack. It's so sweet and light-hearted. The characters' voices are all over the CD and my whole family enjoys it! Great soundtrack and if you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it as well!



2. I have no use for a CD - I wanted the DVD version and never got it. I don't know who is at fault, but I would like the DVD please. I can send the CD back if you want. Help



3. I am eighteen, and I, my thirteen-year-old brother and my seven-year-old sister all LOVE this cd. I've even caught our mom singing along!
   This cd is a great opportunity to introduce kids to a broad range of artists... Jimmy Buffet, Celine Dion, Kenny Loggins, Steven Tyler, even Rosie O'Donnell. Also, as other reviewers have mentioned, you won't get sick of this album after fifteen rounds of "play it again!" It's not Elmo-heavy, but he is on several tracks, similarly to the video.
   This album is DEFINITELY worth the investment-- your kids will listen to it for years.



4. My kids loved the video so we had to get the CD. It's just as wonderful! They love it and so do we, the songs are fun and don't get annoying after listening to them over and over.



5. A lot of fun music. My daughter likes everything on this, except for "I Love Trash". One of the first things she actually sang was "Mambo, mambo, mambo, I, I, I".

   We prefer this over the video. As other reviews point out, this CD doesn't have a lot of Elmo, despite the title, and it isn't especially long either.
