3 comments about The Glory of His Presence: The Live Worship Collection.
- Each & every time I hear this cd, I easily enter into His presence. What a great blessing. It is indeed the ultimate worship cd I heard yet.
Be blessed. Ruth mastro
- Terry Macalmon's other albums are great! This one (contrary to the "Editorial Reviews") has NOTHING new to offer. Every song is on his other albums.
- I have a huge collection of Christian CDs, as for me, worship is the means by which I enter into the presence of God. To me, good worship takes our eyes off ourselves, and onto the Almighty God. It leads us to adore the God of our salvation with love and abandonment. Terry Macalmon's The Glory of Your Presence is just amazing in this regard. The songs are all slow in nature, and they are infused with absolute adoration for the King. I cannot describe it, but they have a quality of taking one, it seems, right into the Holy of Holies, into God's throne room. The song "Holy are you Lord" is especially anointed in this regard. In Revelations, the angels proclaim 'Holy, Holy, Holy!' - this album, too, especially emphasizes this quality of God. Perhaps that is what touches the very heart of God. First-rate!

4 comments about Praise Adonai: Messianic Worship with Paul Wilbur.
- good cd! thanks for making it available.
The recapture of jerusalem by the Jews is certainly a prophetic event!
- Very uplifting and motivating. For us Messianic Jews, the music is reminiscent of of the old days in temple with a flare to worship Jesus.
- This is one of the best worship music CD's that I have. Great for gift giving !
- I LOVE THIS CD. My only problem with it is that I can't stop playing it! The second track, Adonai, is worth the price by alone. Don't even think about it -- just buy it!

4 comments about Gaither Homecoming Classics, Vol. 1.
- How do you pick the best Gaither songs. It is difficult with so many but these are great. My favorite on this DVD is Lord Send Your Angels with Candy Christmas, Kim Hopper and Charlotte Ritchie. The Mystery of God's Will: Living the Christian Life as Seen in Ephesians
- This is great music to speak to your heart, soul and mind. I love to play it with the children around. Alot better for their minds than what is popular with the mainstream today.
- I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves the gaither singers she said it was great and she loved it
- Culled from Bill and Gloria Gaither's many live Homecoming reunions, from venues as diverse as the famous old Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to the beautiful Central Hall Westminster, in London, England, some of gospel music's greatest singers are showcased with brief introductions by Bill. These are all inspiring songs that fill the heart with praise, hope and gratitude, and they're performed with devotion and musical excellence.
Song list: 1. "Farther Along" ~ Ivan Parker, 1995. 2. "Sweet Beulah Land" ~ Squire Parsons, 1995 3. "To God be the Glory" ~ Andrae Crouch, (this is mislabeled on my copy) 2001 4. "Joy Comes in the Morning" ~ Joy Gardner, 1996 5. "Rock of Ages" ~ Vestal Goodman, Reggie Smith, Joy Gardner, Stephen Hill, 1998 6. "In the Garden" ~ The Mullins Family, 1995 7. "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary"~ Gaither Vocal Band, 1998 8. "Whispering Hope" ~ Larry Ford, 2000 9. "If I Can Help Someone" ~ Glen Payne (in one of his last performances), 2000 10. "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" ~ Larry Ford, 2000 11. "Lord, Send Your Angels" ~ Candy Christmas, Kim Hopper, Charlotte Ritchie, 2000 12. "I'm Free" ~ Lynda Randle, David Phelps, 2000 13. "The King is Coming" ~ Gaither Vocal Band, George Younce, 2001 14. "Through it All" ~ Jessy Dixon, Ben Speer, 1996 15. "The Blood Will Never Lose its Power" ~ CeCe Winans, 2001 16. "Highway to Heaven" ~ Jessy Dixon, Glen Payne, (one of the 2 up-tempo songs in the collection, it's a real hand-clapper) 1998 17. "The Old Rugged Cross Made the Difference" ~ Gaither Vocal Band (Guy Penrod), 2001 18. "Standing in the Need of Prayer" ~ Evie Karlsson, Sarah DeLane, 2001 19. "Oh, What a Time !" ~ Gaither Vocal Band, Jake Hess (the 2nd up-tempo song) 2001 20. "Climbing Jacob's Ladder" ~ Ann Downing, The Ruppes, The Nelons, Greater Vision, 2001 This is good to put on and watch when your spirit needs a lift, and serves equally well as background music, as the songs are mostly in a mellow mood, and will bring peace and harmony to your living space. Total running time is one hour and ten minutes.

2 comments about Hymns 4 Worship: Amazing Grace.
- Very relaxing and inspiring. I use at the end of the day to drift off to sleep. The second CD has more of the commonly recognized hymns.
- The greatest hymns sung by today's popular Christian artists, these CD's are great for singing along in the car and praising His Name. They are the two most played CD's in my collection.

1 comments about Above All: Ultimate Worship Anthems of the Christian Faith.
- When I first saw this CD in Amazon I was very excited because it has some of my favorite Christian songs like Only a God Like You, Above All, Power Of Your Love... and I thought this will be in the tradition of "I CAN ONLY IMAGINE" which I still liked very much and still play from time to time. I was wrong! I noticed most of the songs are live version, they are mixed continuously that appear like a non-stop concert (I'm expecting a studio recording with pauses in between songs). And to make things worst, some of the song appear inappropriate. For example, in God Will Make a Way, only the two verses are sung then followed by a long prayer! Like what is a prayer doing in the middle of a (greatest) hits compilation??? After listening to this CD, I never felt compelled to lister to it again.. I'm very disappointed with this CD and I plan to bring this to a Used CD store to sell it just to recover some of my money. It's a total waste! If you want a non-stop comopilation of Christian songs, check out the iWorship series instead. their very much better than this one.

5 comments about Mercy Me - Live.
- I had just gone to a Mercy Me concert and had to have this DVD. It was like reliving the live concert, in the comfort of my own lazyboy...
- The concert was good. As some have pointed out, the continuity is disrupted by unfortunate edits. One big problem; the DVD will not produce 5.1 surround. It has the setup menu and declares that it is DD 5.1 on the case but when it goes to play it reverts to standard stereo. Same result on multiple players. So don't expect great sound if you have a high-end sound system.
- Am a big MercyMe fan, saw this concert broadcast on a local Christian television station before purchasing the DVD. Don't have much to add to the positive reviews written here, just wanted to add my two cents that I thought the opening and closing numbers surprised me, the closing song in particular had me for some reason moved to tears, as the band paid tribute to one of the best Modern Rock bands in the past 30 years, and did it in a way that totally glorified the song as a worship song. No spoilers here, watch the DVD and maybe you'll catch a glimpse into what I mean. Found the concert footage and inter splicings of extra footage to be very intimate and personal. Loved it!
- i am going to keep this short. just read the reviews about this dvd. everything these reviewers wrote is true. however, with all do respect, the review written by DAN THE MUSIC MAN has me baffled. i can't help but to disagree with his review. i felt that the breaks in the concert were tastefully done. i have seen alot of concerts where the breaks in the concert were very annoying and edited really bad. a good example of this is on a dvd entitled JAMIE CULLUM LIVE AT THE BLENHEIM PALACE. an amazingly talented guy but i found myself fast forwarding through the extras to get to the next song.however, another must have dvd. now, back to mercyme. one of the best bands i have ever experienced. worth every penny.
- I'm a big MM fan and even had the pleasure of sitting front row a couple of years ago when they toured with MWS. It was a fantastic show. I'd been waiting for a live dvd and when I saw this one available, I wasted no time ordering it. Big, big disappointment. Lifeless. It seemed like the band was simply doing a 'sound check' and wanting to get through their songlist. They were very methodical. There was no passion in the singing, no emotion, no spirituality. The studio versions are overflowing with emotion and passion. But not this live dvd.
And every few songs the concert is edited out and a bit of other footage is edited in for a couple of minutes. Then back to the concert. Totally took the momentum of the concert out. I hope the next one is better. It wouldn't take much to be better than this one. Will I still purchase MM cd's? You bet. Will I still pay to see them perform live? Without a doubt. I'm just disappointed that they couldn't deliver something with a little bit of soul.

5 comments about Shalom Jerusalem.
- This is a wonderful CD and there's a love for Jesus that comes through the music, which is not true with a lot of Christian music these days. Highly recommended!
- Of the Paul Wilbur CDs that I own, this is my favorite. You can feel the mood of the people throughout the CD....it is truly uplifting!
- I love this cd, I enjoyed it more than I enjoyed the second (Zion) from him. Mine was stolen and I'm excited to be able to reorder it!!!! Wonderful praise and worship music that speaks my soul!!!!! Praise our glorious Lords name forever!!!!
- That's what you'll be when you allow yourself to be enfolded in the embrace of the LIVING GOD!!!!
On your face and fillled to over-flowing! Halleluiah!
- I became an instant fan of Paul Wilbur after listening to his CD "The Lion of Judah" (see my separate review). When I picked up "Shalom Jerusalem" I expected more of the same, but honestly I was mildly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, this is not a bad CD by any stretch of the imagination. It's just that I set my expectations so high, and this CD didn't meet them for several reasons.
First, and probably the most important, is that the songs didn't reach down and get ahold of my soul the way they did in "The Lion of Judah". There are a great variety of styles on this CD, from the slow and worshipful, to rock-and-rollish, to the unmistakably Jewish. Although they are filled with great lyrics (many taken straight from the Psalms), they simply didn't have (in my humble opinion) the same depth of meaning and spiritual power that I experienced with the earlier CD. Also, many of the lyrics were too simple and repetitive, rather than thought-provoking. While they are great for celebrating God's goodness, I never really felt like they drew me into an attitude of genuine worship. Along the same lines, there were a few too many songs in Hebrew on this CD. That's a fine thing if you happen to be a messianic Jew or otherwise understand Hebrew, but I'm not and I don't. Thus, a number of these songs were somewhat lost on me, other than the ability to appreciate the beauty of the language and the unique culture that it expresses. There are, however, a few songs that cross back and forth between Hebrew and English, which makes them decidedly easier to follow. Keep in mind that my review is based on my limited exposure to messianic Judaism and one other Paul Wilbur CD, so take it for what it's worth. You might like this one much better than I did, but if you've never tried Paul Wilbur or this type of music before, I think "The Lion of Judah" would be a much better first pick.

5 comments about Shout to the Lord: Platinum, Vol. 2.
- Many times, friends or people in our church congregation ask where we get our music. Compilations like this one are good resources for those who want a taste of Hillsong worship music.
- I now enjoy the privilege of listening to some of the most uplifting contemporary Chrisitian music!
- We play this CD in the car all the time! Our kids even sing the words with us. It really keeps your feet planted. Very much worth buying!
- "Shout to the Lord 2" can't hold a candle to the first cd. I had hoped for more of that amazing brass, but 2 has mostly noisy guitar backup. There's also less of Darlene Zschech, which is disappointing. I do not recommend "Shout to the Lord 2" and am sorry I bought it.
- Although you will find a few songs memorable on this CD, the first Shout To The Lord CD was the best and you'll find yourself singing along with the songs. This CD is still a keeper although I find myself picking and choosing songs throughout the selections. Buy the first CD I believe you'll love that choice more.

4 comments about Ardent Worship: Skillet Live.
- This live worship CD from Skillet is top notch. It is a high energy praise music at its finest.
Some of the tracks here are very hard and some are quite mellow. All of them are done extremely well. This CD has been a favorite of mine for several years.
I strongly recommend this for anyone. It will not disappoint.
- this was a dissapointment for me. there are popular worship music as well as some new stuff. this is very melow and unlike most of their stuff. as a whole the album is diappointing, if you have to have everything by them then by all means get this album otherwise skip it and move on.
- I first heard skillet on a compilation cd. The song made me weep. I read a review for this live cd calling it anointed, and I fully agree! This cd is dangerous to listen to while driving because the desire to lift your hands to the Lord and close your eyes is so strong! I love the live atmosphere, too. I've loaned it to someone new to Christian rock and he loves it, too. Yes, buy it and praise our Almighty God!
- Very few times have I listened to a cd that impacted me as much as this one. This cd is annointed by the Holy Spirit. This cd explodes with energy and enthusiam for God, you realize when you hear the instruments and the singers that their hearts are in one accord, straining to show their love to their Creator. The full impact however, will not his you until you listen to the 7th track, "Angels Fall Down." The only time a song has ever come as close to the imapct this one had was Darrel Evans "I am in Love With You" from his Freedom album. If you want an incredible worship experience captured in a plastic disc, here it is.
