2. This is an excellent collection of symphonic music tailored to enhancing and fine tuning your mindstate to a desired outcome. Music can alter our brainwaves and this collection was developed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson to do just that. The previous reviewer who gave this CD a 1 star rating was reckless in his evaluation of this masterful collection of symphonic muisc. Save the 1 stars for the violent rappers and noisy, brain damaging music please!



3. I have suffered with insomnia for many years, trying herbal, medicinal, and relaxation techniques to no avail. I researched brain wave entrainment and purchased the Brainwave Symphony (Delta) CD with hopes of overcoming the insomnia naturally. But the CD did NOT work, mainly because of the music interfering with the binaural beats.

   For those of us who have a passionate love for music, our bodies and minds are easily affected by music. Rather than ambient music, this CD has baroque and -- worse -- romantic style background music. Romantic music has ever-changing highs and lows, pianissimos and fortes -- much too dramatic to use to fall asleep.

   This CD actually helped to keep me awake. When I finally started to drift off, sometime after midnight, I was awakened by by a loud burst of music during one track's climax. Why in the world would someone select this type of music to induce sleep?!?

   I am willing to try a different delta CD, with more raw binaural tones, but I would definitely not recommend the Brainwave Symphony - Delta CD for anyone with a sleeping problem.




4. So this is another CD-set by Jeffrey Thompson. This time some classical music on 4 CDs and perhaps best suited for those who cannot bear the 'modern' strange effects on the brainwave suite CDset. I'm not really a fan of classical music, so I more prefer the brainwave suite CD's but if you're a fan of some works of Mozart, Bach, Albinoni, Vivaldi, Warlock, Debussy etc... you may get this CD-box. It's not only good for your ears, but seems to be good for your brain too !

1. These recordings are relaxing -- but they are "enhanced with music(?!)." I found the music distracting. Based on the little information provided at this site concerning the contents of the CDs (there are three), I thought I was ordering nature sounds without music. If that's what you're looking for, look elsewhere.



2. I love these tracks and have used all three after work to reduce my stress level, along with some scented candles. The desert thunderstorm has a softly swelling and fading cadence that is soothing with the rhythm of the rain. Listening to it, I can almost smell the rain hitting the earth. The sailboat sounds are also soft and relaxing, with far-off gulls in the background. Glad I found it on CD!

1. This is a very nice collection with a great variety, though I prefer the instrumentals over the vocals. Be aware, however, that it is identical to the collection called "Best of New Age".
   Also, there is a 2-CD version of "Moonlight Moments" containing the music of just the 2nd and 3rd discs.
