- This single is a great part of the Nine Inch Nails collection. I would say after buying all the major releases of theirs get this and "fixed" first. Closer to god, is not just another remix of closer, but a whole new version of the song. A lot heavier I might add. the other remixes on the cd are very god, 1 even is almost like an acoustic version. Also the album has "memrobilia" a soft cell cover.
- What can I say? Incredible song w/ great remixes. Trent Reznor rarely disappoints. March of the *uck Heads is a cool drum instrumental type thingy aswell. I mean come on. How can you not like a song with the title "March of the *uckheads"? If you enjoy NIN, buy this.
- One of the better single/EP releases from NIN (which are, to be honest, usually only a matter of concern for NIN fans looking to "collect them all"), Closer to God has some excellent remixes of Closer as well as the original song. I particularly recommend Closer (Precusor) (which was used in the opening credits to the movie Se7en) as well as the title track Closer to God, which isn't so much a remix as a re-imagining, and in that respect worth considering as a song it its own right.
Really a CD worth owning if you're a fan of NIN or just the song.
- I looked at 5 different stores before I decided to check on line. I had it in 4 days. Sooooo much easier than going to the store.
R
- The man is a great singer, unusually creative. Certainly not for kids though.

- Siouxsie's in the zone after all these years...It hurts me very much to say this but Robert Smith should hang out with Siouxsie AGAIN, see if he's able to learn from her AGAIN....
- Unlike a lot of others, I'm really happy Sioux is not stuck in the 80's! After all people, they are over! This album is her most personal and since I downloaded it into my mp3 months ago I have not stopped listening to it. She is in great voice, the songs are strong and the beats are addictive! If you get a chance to see her - GO! I saw her a few months back and she brought the house down! And I have seen Sioux live at least 10 times and I think it was my favorite show - well, second - nothing beats the first time...
- I hope she's paying you guys in Euro's or in Sterling! Seriously, though - I love Siouxsie's 80's stuff, it was brilliant, and she and her band really could not put out anything that wasn't a home run. Simple as that. Since then her clothes have gotten more expensive, her voice better trained and richer, but face it, the music is boring and indistinguishable from a hundred other bands. She should take up baking. And she still makes fun of Goths, legions of whom have paid for her villas in France - Remember, oh she of the flat chest - that without the minions in black you would be working in a laundromat.
- To keep it short; this is an amazing album.
If you liked the Banshees I see no reason why you wouldn't adore this release, she has not lost a step.
Truly an icon, and still on top of the game even if alot of people don't know or don't care anymore, this stuff is as viable as anything on the radio today.
It is amazing how she can still put out something in this day and age, and it is almost as obscure to the average listener as it would have been had it come out 20 years ago.
- Ok....I purchased this cd back in Octobre 2007 & I have been stuck on it since. I am just now getting around to a sending out a review.
First off, Siouxsie never left, she was just amusing Budgie for a little while longer.
This cd is totally 100% worth buying. Every track bursts with newness each time you listen to them. I could go down the list of tracks but that still would not justify them enough.
Just buy the damn cd & grow from it.
You won't regret it.

- This album made me fall in love with old-school Goth music. Deep bass vocals, simple yet adequate music, great lyrics, but my biggest peeve are the drowned-out lyrics, which seems to be par with most music. Despite that last gripe you'll find they did a great job with this album.
- I've got to admit, it took me a LONG time to love this album, but I eventually came around. Almost all the tracks here are memorable, and have a single-like quality to them. The songs are delightfully catchy, while at the same time being utterly friggin miserable. With songs like "Marian", "Black Planet", and "No Time to Cry", other mope-rockers should just hang up their leather pants. This album (and its followup "Floodland") are, without a doubt, the most influential releases to the genre of goth rock. This is somewhat of an understatement, considering just how many goth bands sound at least somewhat like the Sisters; not to mention the millions that imitate them. Everything's here; the appregio guitarwork, the heavy reverb, the tribal drums, driving bass lines, and the deep, VERY deep vocals. This is the definitive release for its genre, and if you're interested in goth at all, you're obligated to listen to it, or I'll hereby revoke your goth license.;)
- As with previous purchases from Amazon the service was excellent I was kept well informed regarding all aspects of the ordering and paying as well as the tracking process, the parcel arrived approximately 3 weeks before the scheduled date. The parcel arrived in excellent condition. Once again thank you to all at Amazon, you are fantastic.
- First time I heard this I was swept away, forever.
It's dreamy, haunting, dark and beautiful. I will love it forever.
- FLA is good, but only good. It shows flashes of the brilliance that would be Floodland, glimpses of the power and polish that was to come flow in and out like the tide. FLA is not Floodland, and I can only imagine what led from FLA to Floodland. Earth quake, LSD, or emergence of pure genius, I do not know, but there is only one Floodland and this isn't it.

- Scored this Lp a good decade back, but had to throw a review up, as the least i could do was type a quick review on it, to praise the dudes who slapped it together. Spewin' Reed M. aint behind the kit no more for these dudes, but none the less Pepper Keenan & Woodrow W. pull out all the stops on guitar, with great support from Mike D. on bass. Songs like Albatross, & Shake Like You are instant winners with catch hooks that tune you in to the end of each track. To my surprise were the quiet little interlude tracks, (this trait does appear in the sonic works of the supergroup Down also), so i would have to tip my hat to Pepper for these efforts. A must listen before your time comes to an end on this planet.
- "Deliverance" sees COC leaving their old thrash crossover style completely behind. Pepper Keenan ( of Down) entered the band and really took control of this album, laying down his superb vocals and song writing ability. The sound changed to more southern styled metal, akin to a lighter Pantera with more melodic vocals and the odd thundering Sabbath inspired riff. While this didn't go down with the hardcore fans of the band's old thrash style, it drew in a wider metal and grunge fan base.
There is a host of great rocking tracks, all enveloping that southern swagger and a great bent for melody. My favourites include the grooving opener "Heaven Is Not Overflowing", the slow-burner "Albatross", "Clean My Wounds" which is one of the band's most catchy and well known songs. There's the brooding doom of "Broken Man", the fun groove of the title track and my personal favourite "Seven Days" which showcases the most powerful and booming chorus the band has ever put out. I'm also a big fan of the slower songs, especially the closer "Pearls Before Swine" which is really quite menacing and ends the album on a poignant and intense note.
"Deliverance" is a consistently great southern rock/metal album with a host of melody and some great heavy riffs. Probably my favourite release from COC, and a great place to start for newcomers.
- 'Deliverance' by Corrosion of Conformity is, without question, an album that anyone who is even remotely interested in heavy music should own. I have had this album for over a decade, and I am still not tired of it.
It amazes me how unknown and unappreciated this album is. This album is in the same boat as Temple of the Dog, an amazing album that most people will never hear. It really is that good, so go buy it.
- this is without a doubt , one of my favorite cds. coc packs a hard punch . and its got so much soul . definatly worth your money , no matter what t he cost
- wow
years ago,c.o.c where "my" band back in their hardcore punk days.when they "sold-out" & went metal,i totally tuned out without even hearing where their sound was going.
boy,did i ever make a mistake....
this is fantastic stuff!as many other reviewers have pointed out, this is along the southern fried black sabbath riff-a-thon.
songs are well written,musicianship solid.
wish i had given this a chance 11 years ago!

- We know the Christian part is true, and yes reknowned for memorable body and face. Most Pinup Models are...
It is rumored the #1 track "Christian Woman" may have been inspired by the Pinup Model/Singer/Actress. Front man for the band Peter Steele & E.E. did meet in North Carolina shortly after this release. On "the band's next album,"October Rust", Steele Thanked "an Elizabeth" in his remarks. Is it true, or Rock Lore?
Rock Gods&Models are like socks and shoes.
I know this BAND is AMAZING, Steele's voice could make the most innocent female moan.
I was told the rumor also.I have no idea if it is true.
- This music will forever be burned into my soul (and body) as it was playing while my tattoo was being put on my body. I went out and immediately bought the CD which is very dark and very deep. You have to be in the right frame of mind to listen to this music. Certainly not for light and easy listening...but the very bad girl in me loves it.
- Currently their best album in my opinion, multiple unforgettable tracks entwined with offbeat filler. First, the filler. There is some strange stuff on this CD, and while not unenjoyable, it at times takes you out and away from the music and doesn't allow the CD to flow as well as it should. Now, onto the truly great stuff. One of my favorite songs of all time will be "Christian Woman". This three part epic is a stellar song that I have practically memorized over my mutiple listens. Next comes "Black No. 1", another epic and easily their most recognizable song, great stuff, but does not top "Christian Woman" in my opinion. "Summer Breeze" is an excellent cover song, improving greatly upon the original, essentially turning an upbeat, poppy song into a drab, droning gothic metal masterpiece. "Bloody Kisses (A Death in the Family)" is an ode to lost love, no album with gothic undertones is complete without it. "Too Late : Frozen" seems to be a faster paced song at first, until it slams into a wall to instantly become dark and depressing. Brilliantly done. "Blood & Fire" is also a great track, althought I prefer the Out of the Ashes Remix personally. And finally the CD closes with "Can't Lose You", a nice little closer that has a touch of country to it... What? That doesn't hurt the song however, in fact, it only helps it. So this is an excellent CD that I feel could have been streamlined a bit to help improve it. But I would still recommend this masterpiece to anyone.
- Black No. 1 is an ok tune but this CD is vastly overated and superficial. Beware before you purchase this one. If you are a fan of cheesy metal then go for it but this one is.. well... dumb IMO.
The cover to Summer Breeze should be taken out and shot. Goofy.
- Type O Negative at their very most negative. A must have if you like dark, well written music.

- As far as music reviews go, everyone has their own personal taste in what does it for them. I have not come across a HIM song that I don't like yet. This cd is a must for me because it contains two of my favorites; Wings of a Butterfly and Killing Loneliness. I really believe that Mr. Valo has one of the best voices in music.
- As always, H.I.M. produces beautiful music and emotional lyrics that compliment each other-outstanding record!
5 star rating-
- If you liked RR, LM, and Deep Shadows, then you'll not be able to appreciate this one! So now, I'll give you a walkthrough of the album.
The album opens with Vampire Heart, a decent and fun opener with beautiful lyrics.
Then we get some rock 'n' roll with Wings Of A Butterfly, a catchy song with lyrics about cheating on someone.
Then Under The Rose comes along, and holy crap, this song is so totally lame. I wonder how long it took these guys to write this song, about 2 minutes?
Then Killing Lonliness. A Melancholy song about a heroin addict that Ville Valo once new. Pretty good song with some amazing lyrics.
Then we get to ANOTHER crappy song. I'm pretty sure emo kids or your depressed girlfriend would like "Dark Light". Slow, boring, lame, not interested.
Behind The Crimson Door comes along. This and Killing Lonliness are THE EXACT SAME SONG, just with different lyrics, key, and a different intro! Just listen to the Verses and the chorus. I'm really starting to regret buying this album on the strength of all the other ones now.
Then "The Face of God" comes. Not bad, a bit reminiscent of the old HIM sound, with good creepy vocals.
Now, Drunk on Shadows. This is also the same song as TFOG, again with different lyrics and a different key.
Play Dead... nope, not even gonna talk about it.
The album ends with In The Nightside of Eden, which isn't a bad closer, it's pretty good. But again, it sounds just like Killing Lonliness.
So pretty much, it's not a bad album, except almost all the songs sound exactly the same. Buy it if you're a diehard, but be warned, it's for newcomers mainly.
- A definitive album for all HIM fans! This is the album that helped HIM achieve their well-deserved Gold Status in the States.
From the beginning sequence of 'Vampire Heart', until the ending of 'In the Nightside of Eden' you are swept up in the mood only HIM can create. Melodic, lyrical, this album ignites a passion in our souls & leaves us wanting for more. It sets a mood & keeps the magic that is 'Love Metal', alive.
I give this album 5 out 5 stars because I think its a ground-breaking album for the band. I highly recommend this album to any fan of music, esp. anyone who's looking for something deeper.
- THE BAND: Ville Valo (vocals), Mikko Lindstrom (guitars), Mikko "Mige" Paananen (bass), Janne "Burton" Puurtinen (keyboards), Mika "Gas" Karppinen (drums & percussion). H.I.M. - His Infernal Majesty - Origin: Finland.
THE DISC: (2005) 10 songs clocking in at approximately 45 minutes. Included with the disc is a 10-page booklet containing one band photo and song lyrics. Recorded at Paramour Studios, Los Angeles, CA. This is the band's 5th studio album. There is a limited edition disc available (complete with tin case, 24-page booklet and keychain). Label - Sire Records.
COMMENTS: As of 2007-08, I am relatively new to H.I.M. - "Dark Light" was my first purchase. For whatever reason, I knew the name, but not the music. My love of hard rock (AC/DC, Rush, Deep Purple, Van Halen, etc), 80's old school heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Metallica, Sabbath/Ozzy, etc), and newer progressive/symphonic metal bands (Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Symphony X) never crossed paths with H.I.M.'s pop/alternative/love metal. I had H.I.M. totally misread - judging the proverbial book by its cover. I looked at H.I.M. (Valo) and saw death metal or Marilyn Manson clone (not to mention a bad version of Tim Curry in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" coming to mind from the cover of "Razorblade Romance"). Boy... was I ever wrong. So endearing was "Dark Light", I went out and bought all their discs. For me, it was such a wondrous find... and I initially felt that I had missed out on years of good music. As for the album, "Dark Light" is full of crunchy guitars and melodies. Songs are for the most part dark with a gothic tone - dealing with love (and love lost), suffering, loneliness, Heaven and Hell, redemption, sacrifice, scarred souls and aspects of suicide. This isn't a guitar album per say, but Lindstrom's guitar work is as much the highlight of this album as Valo's vocals. "Dark Light" was the band's break through album in the US (reaching #18 on Billboard's Top 200 list in 2005). The album also featured two hits with "Rip Out The Wings Of A Butterfly" (reaching #1 in Finland, and #20 in the US - perhaps the best track on the disc), and "Killing Loneliness". Throughout the album you'll hear some great piano/keyboards and orchestra layers. Other highlights include the (ballad) title track, the love story in "The Face Of God", the melody in "Behind The Crimson Door", and the closer "In The Nightside Of Eden". Not a weak track on the disc. Try this disc - this may be a sentimental favorite for me, but after hearing all his previous albums, I feel "Dark Light" is the band's most slick and polished album. A great introduction to H.I.M. (5 stars).

- The best part of having a Manson Cd is you don't have to watch him. Unfornatly a DVD you do. I like some of his songs and have all of his CDs but the only thing about havings this DVD and seeing him do the songs I like is I have to look at him play with himself and do obscene things on stage with his band members, equipment and anything else with matter in it. The costumes and makeup wouldnt be so bad if he didnt act like some drugged ape that just escaped lock up. You may call it rock theatre which it is but I've seen others do shows that werent like this. Even Alice Cooper was better on stage. Good for some of the music but watching his perversions and wooden doll antics is the reason I dont like this DVD.

- I've known of MM for a long time: from his beginnings of always playing a local club in the early days in RI (Club BabyHead) and his shows at Ozzfest, yet I always thought he was a bit silly. He always, to me, looked like a character out of The nightmare before Christmas. Plus, I thought it was bizarre how he hit the mainstream by the popularity of recording a Erthymics cover, since his music was distinct and was a milestone of later 90's hard rock. Much of his stuff, I didn't like until the Mechanical Animals stuff. Yet, I always loved that song LONG HARD ROAD OUT OF HELL from the Spawm Movie. In fact, I like alot of MM songs from Soundtracks: Sweet Tooth, Tained Love (remake), and the 1st scene into. song to Blair Witch 2: Disposable teens...So,I figured I'd add this DVD to my collection. I did see this show at Ozzfest so knew what I was getting. This dvd is well made, the sound is great and I have grown to respect this guy alot as a musician and his crazy-cool lyrics. Funny, tough, I laughed hysetericly at this concert during his performance of THE NOBODIES and still laught watching it on dvd. I just think it's whacked him on those old circus stilts. Anyways, this is a great dvd, MM took Goth to the next level and certainly has impacted music and style--something not done since...Madonna...
I feel MM has grown as an artist and am actually looking forward to the release of his new cd EAT ME, DRINK ME in June 2007.

- This CD is amazing!! I loved Every Minute of it!! Everyone should own this AWSOME CD!!!!!!!!!!!
- I liked this CD even better than the CD for the first movie. The impression that I got is that this music was created for the movie. Made for a good listen.
- At first I was only going to give 4 stars, because, with the exception of the Rob D track, the "Bruises" song, and the Dave Matthews song, this compilation of music didn't seem all that inspiring as it was in the first soundtrack. However, I almost forgot about the second cd. The second cd contains the musical score by Don Davis with additions by Juno Reactor in a couple tracks. This really makes this cd a great purchase. They should have done this with the first soundtrack. I get so easily sucked into the movie whenever I hear this music. If you liked the score at all you should get this. A definite worth while purchase.
- Bought this for my husband and my son, they both love it. Said it's a must have.
- Arguably better than the first soundtrack, the second films music is straight in your face and that's how we like it. The perfect compliment to any high octane action flick, tracks by metal giants like Manson and Zombie get the disc kicked off but it's Chino who steals the whole show with offerings from both his bands. The Deftones offer us their softer side with `Lucky You' which is personally my favorite track here, and one of my favorite songs period. Chino's side band Team Sleep also offers one of the CD's best tracks. Chino is god, he knows this! Songs from techno giants like Fluke, Oakenfold (awesome track) and Rob Dougan litter the remainder of disc one (and Linkin Park delivers a disc highlight), and disc two settles down with a brilliant score for the film. Great compliment to the movie...in fact I'm tempted to say that this collection of rock and techno tracks may even be BETTER than the movie...tempted!

5 comments about Looking Glass.
- First off let me start by saying that if I could I'd give this album a 4.5 instead of a full 5, but seeing as only two of the songs are responsible for all of my gripes I'm going to go ahead and give this the higher rating.
The biggest problem with this CD is that the group chose one of the more less appealing songs to promote - in this case Looking Glass. Out of all the songs from Walking With Strangers that would have made a better promotional vid or song I would have named almost any other. The music video is almost painfully embarrassing to watch as well, and while the band plays with an interesting concept in it all the artistic direction comes off as terribly cliched and trite. Huge bummer.
However despite these flaws this is still a truly wonderful CD, with the following standing out in particular :
1. Falling Down
This lives up to its new found subtitle "crawling pulse". The mix slows it down to an almost creepy level, bringing more melodious bridges and melancholy pianos into it until the song is almost completely transformed. I gave the song 2.5 - 3 stars on Walking With Strangers however this is a full blown 5 making it one of the better remixes on the album.
2. Shiver
If this is any indication where the next album is heading I think we might have a better album than even Violet to look foreword too (which in my opinion is the band's best to date). A song that pulls no punches as it sings out about a woman thats "too cold to shiver". Can you say "ouch"? Truly a wonderful reminder of the bands ability to write incredibly visual and poetic lyrics.
3. Nowhere
I'm throwing this on my favorites list because even though its an instrumental its still incredibly beautiful. For those of us who loved songs like Black, Red and Prologue and wished that they were a tiny bit longer this is an answer to our prayers at last. Very beautiful.
4. I Think We're Alone Now
No one can dispute that Tiffany is one of the original Pop Princesses with a voice that could put current holders of the tittle to shame however I have to admit . . . the TBM cover is actually better. Another reviewer mentioned here that it was almost like another song entirely and I have to agree and I'm not one to give kudos to covers lightly.
Over all for the price and the content this is a fabulous album. A few things here and there are preventing me from giving it a full 5 stars but really they're just minor complains and shouldn't be taken too seriously by anyone looking to buy this, my only real complain being that now I'm having an even harder time waiting until their next album after being given a taste of this!
- This is one of my most favorite TBM CDs to date. My fave tracks are Shiver, and the remixes of Red Stars and Weekend. No song is any real waste on this CD. Even the classic song I Think We're Alone Now is wonderful, Chibi's voice really making it stand out and be something else. For those of us who grew up listening to such songs with our parents, it's a nice surprise, especially with having a modern sound to it.
The only real qualm I would have would be with the instrumental track--not too long and not too interesting, at least to me. Nowhere is basically a misfit on this CD, though some people might like the instrumental break.
- I ended up liking Looking Glass (the song) alot better after seeing the music video for it. Choosing to work with Dan Ouellette again was a good call. The remixes are all decent to good; Il Attire's Remix of "Red Star" is especially great. It's also nice to finally have "Nowhere" for ready listening. My favorite track on The Looking Glass EP though, is definitely TBM's take on: "I Think We're Alone Now", originally written by pop singer Tiffany.. it's almost a whole new song. I'd really like to see TBM cover some more well known songs in general I suppose (Duran Duran, Depeche Mode?), just too hear that magic touch only The Birthday Massacre can give to music.
- If you listen the TBM you'll like this. Some good mixes from Walking with Strangers.
- Well the albums not bad, the underlying riffs behind the music make it seem like a gothic theatre perfomance. I just picked the CD up since there touring with MSI's "If" tour this year. The beats are catchy and lyrics are great throughout most of the CD. It is shrot though, only eight tracks but includes the music video for "Looking Glass". So yeah in short better than Evanesance ('scuse me if thats spelled wrong) good beats, great if your into goth rock.

- In a Reverie
One of the Coil's Best CDs. However, I was disappointed when I recieved it and found it to be the rerelease and not the original.
- The "Italian Evanescence", it lives up to the promise of "Falling" on their self-titled debut album, especially "To Myself I Turned" and "Falling Again". Not as great as the "Karmacode" and "Comalies" albums, in part because they don't really use their dual vocalists to full advantage. My favorite band of all time.
- Lacuna Coil is one of the main members of the new wave of progressive metal that features crunching guitars, epic songwriting and powerful female vocals. Similarities to bands like Evanescence and Stream Of Passion are very evident. "Reverie" was the band's first full length album and shows the promise that this band would go on to bigger and better things. Overall the album is somewhat evident of a band in search of a sound. They try different things here and there and to me this is a good thing. I honestly wish they would do more of this with their later material, as lately they have really locked themselves into a formula. The band is Italian and all of the lyrics here are in English. Christina has a definite accent to her vocals that would be polished up significantly on later releases. The songs are for the most part good. Highlights include "Circle", "Stately Lover", and the title track "Reverie". Epic sounding metal with just a hint of progressive rock. The band would go on to do better albums, but this one was a very good debut.
- Other than a self-titled EP, I believe this was Lacuna Coil's first full-length release. What a way to make a debut! This album shows that the band has some serious potential; although they do exhibit some downfalls on this album as well.
The most obvious thing to me on this record, is the fact that it comes across as sort of experimental. Don't get me wrong, most of the songs are hard and heavy, dark and melodic; but there is some material that (to me) shows that the band was not sure in which direction they wanted to go in. The downfalls however, are fairly insignificant when you hear the album as a whole.
1. Circle - This track is an awesome way to open the album. The vocals by Cristina and Andrea are both heavy and harmonizing at the same time. The band plays heavy all throughout and makes for a pretty cool opening. 4/5
2. Stately Lover - I want to like this song, I really do. It is heavy and melodic, but something seems a bit off on this one. The vocals are top-notch, but I feel that Andrea's "I don't know what the hell you say," is out of place on this track. This alone makes the song feel a bit cramped with a lot of material. Good song overall, just a bit off. 3.5/5
3. Honeymoon Suite - Andrea starts off strong on this song, with great harmonizing my Cristina. This song seems to be another that has a lot of material and they aren't sure what sound it is they want. Almost as if the band couldn't decide what role Cristina would play on this album, and were just trying different things with her and Andrea. Okay song. 3.5/5
4. My Wings - I love the way this song begins. Hard, heavy, and the quintessential Coil sound we have all come to love! The song stays heavy all the way through, and with Cristina singing, you can't go wrong. Awesome track! 4/5
5. To Myself I Turned - This is my personal favorite on the album. The lyrcis are dark yet at the same time, provide a sense of uplifting spirit. Makes you want to prove all the doubters wrong with whatever it is you're doing in life. Great song, with and awesome beginning! 5/5
6. Cold - This song picks right back up where the last song left off. The beginning makes you think it's going to be a "ballad" type song, and some may say that it is, but it still remains heavy and haunting. Awesome guitar work on this track! 4/5
7. Reverie - I never realized how long this song was. Although this song can come across as experimental; and it does have a lot of material all stuffed in there, showing each band members strengths, the song does seriously rock! Although I feel Andrea and Cristina don't harmonize completely well here, it is one of Andrea's strongest outings. Pretty cool song overall. 4/5
8. Veins of Glass - The beginning of this song sounds very familiar and I can't seem to place it. On this track, Andrea shows us that he is really no fluke. He can indeed come across as weak at times, but here along with Cristina, this song is hauntingly calm. A very strong track by the Coil, and an under-rated gem on this album. 4.5/5
9. Falling Again - This song is amazing! I have come to expect that the last track of any Lacuna Coil album is going to kick ass! The beginning alone makes this song! Cristina seems to pour a lot of her emotions into this song, and maybe this is what showed the band that she truly belongs up front! A true 5-star song to end their debut LP. 5/5
So, after what seems like a somewhat shaky beginning, Lacuna Coil bounce right back with some serious hits here. "In a Reverie" as I said, seemed to be a mixed bag as the band wasn't sure exactly where Cristina was going to fit. They seemed to have fixed the problem with their next out-put!
A must-own for any fans of Lacuna Coil!
- If you are a fan this is a good album.
A couple of great songs and then others that show the band at it's
beginnings. Buy it cheap and you won't cry.
