1. I am a huge Gaither Vocal Band fan, and while this is CD has many guest appearances by artists other than the Gaither Vocal Band, it is certainly one of their best CD's. If you are thinking of adding to your GVB library or simply want a great Southern Gospel album this is a great pick! The vocals are wonderful and the songs fabulous! I hardly leave home without this CD in my car! Highly recommend to anyone!

3. Bill Gaither knows how to put a concert together, and this one was taped in his home state of Indiana. Live albumns sometimes suffer from the difficulty of conveying on tape what was happening at the moment, but this "Live" release will not disappoint you! The special guests, Candy Hemphill Christmas, Jessy Dixon, Amy Lambert, and others all work together to make this a 1st class blessing!



4. I've heard both the CD and video. This is the best blend of homecoming favorites with lots of songs featuring the Gaither Vocal Band. This album is money well spent.



5. Why don't you put some songs on the internet in MP3 format so that people can download them or listen to them with Realplayer? This will really improve your sales!

1. This tribute to Howard & Vestal Goodman is excellent! It shows them at their very best, that of giving uninhibited praise and glory to our God. I love the selections that were chosen for this tribute. They were and are very uplifting and inspiring, and I praise the Lord that He is continuing to use them in their posterity for the furtherance of the Gospel and pointing others to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Without hesitation, I give this tribute 5 stars.



2. There is no question when one listens to Vestal sing of her absolute love, trust and faith in God. Her voice just rings out right from her heart. Her husband and the rest of the Gaithers are the same.
   
   Vestal was indeed one who followed close after Christ. You can just see her now - singing all those wonderful songs at the feet of Jesus.
   
   It is a privilege listening to this CD.



3. I never liked country music, least of all country Gospel, and especially Southern Gospel quartets. I would immediately turn the dial. Then, one day I saw Vestal Goodman on a Gaither Homecoming video. Vestal was the exact image of my favourite aunt, except for the "big hair." From that point, I was hooked on Homecoming videos, cassettes, and CD's. As were myriads of others, I was shocked to learn of Vestal's unexpected and untimely death in late 2003, and eagerly anticipated the announced tribute to she and Howard. I got the video first, and wept through the entire video, as I do every time I play it. Then, I purchased the CD, with the same effect.It is what we call "Anointed." I recommend this one highly. It is a well-deserved tribute to the Goodmans, who will always be loved and treasured. May their memories be eternal.

2. I usually don't buy cd's because they so often only have one or two cuts worth listening too. From the beginning song to the end your soul is moved. This is a CD that is a constant play for me. Everyday since I brought this CD I have played it in its entirity or some insert. I am waiting for the next CD to come out. This choir and pastor's anointing must take the next music project higher than this. This is what we need. God's anointing is all through this music, it will move you. Bishop, you have been a good a faithful servent to God in this project. I thank you in the sharing of this anointing.



3. This is by far one of the best cds that I have bought this year! It is totally an awesome cd. The cd is a true annointing.



4. I received this as a monthly selection through a music club. I actually was going to return it but never got around to it. It sat in a box for over a year until I found it and decided to open it. I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this CD! The anointing of God is truly upon every song but my favorite is track 3 There is a Fountain! What A Blessing!



5. Wow, this CD has really blessed me. I don't usually buy CD's because I'm afraid that I'll only like one or two songs on it. This CD is filled with beautiful songs of praise and worship. Yes, this CD is annointed by the power of God. Everytime that I play it I like to be alone so I can bask in the presence of God. Yes, those songs will truly usher in the presence of the Lord. Some of my favorites are "Let the Rain of Your Presence Fall On Me". "I Came to Magnify". "May the Lord God Bless You Real Good". Oh all of these songs on this CD have truly been a blessing to me. Keep praising God Bishop McClendon!

2. I am a minister in a denomination which regards itself very highly for its biblical teaching and singing. I was raised on very solid food, and continue to delight in the meat of Reformed teaching and music with good words.

   Darrell Evans is no bible teacher. There are even a few things said in these songs that I consider to be theologically naive or unhelpful.

   But I find in Darrell Evans' music something that I find almost completely absent in the life of my denomination: exuberant joy. When Darrell sings a song like 'Freedom' I know that I am hearing the voice of one who revels in the freedom he has found in the Lord Jesus.

   Jesus and the apostles knew all about good theology. But they also knew about joy, about living. Darrell's music has a life, an energy, a deep-seated happiness that makes it shine.

   This CD glows because it recognises that praising God is a 'no-holds-barred' exercise. Darrell has also recognised what a friend of mine (a NT professor!) says: "God doesn't only send us postcards; sometimes he like to give us a kiss and hug as well."




3. This is an incredible album. What I love so much about it is the fact that it's message is never watered down,and it praises our God and Lord Jesus Christ. It is a welcome departure from so called Christian artists who market their work, and write their songs as if they are trying to appeal to the world's standards. This album stays true to a Godly standard- and as Christians that is the only standard that is good enough!



4. This CD is for the serious worshiper of God and for the serious musician! Evans guitar driven rock style should make him among one of the classic Christian musicians of our time. Just listen to the great electric guitar playing of Lincoln Brewster while Evans strums rhythmically on his acoustic guitar. And His lyrics are so intimate you feel like you are right in the presence of God. This man knows and loves his Savior! I give this CD a 10+.



5. "Freedom" is one of the most solid albums I have ever listened to in my life - and I've listened to quite a few having worked in radio for nearly 10 years. In fact, I am perplexed as to why Christian radio has not picked up on this gem. Evans is perhaps one of the best songwriters in the Christian genre and this album is proof of that. From uptempo, Spirit-filled songs such as "Trading My Sorrows", "So Good To Me" and "Freedom" to stirring emotional ballads such as "You are My Portion" and "Your Love is Extravagant", Evans has something on this album for everyone. This is a must for every Christian music fan's collection. You'll have it in high rotation in your CD player!

1. Just over 10 years now, I've been a fan of Fred's. WHATEVER he is singing, I'm buying. It's amazing that so often when I'm at a church, I can hear the presiding minister say something about relationships with Christ, growing in Christ, etc...some lyric of Fred's pops into my mind. I'm writing this review before I buy the dvd because the cd is simply amazing! Also, like two of the reviewers said, if you haven't opened your heart up to "More of You"...then you are definitely in need of "more of Him".



2. I have had this CD for some time now and I play it all the time. I think it is the best of all of Fred Hammond's CD's. I love it!



3. I purchased this CD and did not listen to it completely. For the longest time, I only listed to "This is the Day". However, This CD has some great songs. As only Fred Hammond can perform. I have always loved Fred Hammond above all for his writing abilities. I have learned scripture thru his songs and his music has comforted me thru some of my most difficult times in life. A fan forever...



4. Ya'll if the only track you can listen to is the first one then it's more than worth it. That song made me want to get this CD. I love it and I love Fred Hammond. It will Bless your spirit and Life period.

1. These dudes keep it hot with every release. This is THE cd that finally made me see that Gospel Rap can sound better than Non-Gospel Rap. This Dudes Can Actually Rhyme, the production is Outstanding. I was like "What?" Their content is also very Christian! Many so-called Christian Rappers out there compromise their message to the point that you can't tell it's Christian anymore. Not The Case Here! Somehow, they manage to make scripture sound cool. Don't know how they do it man! Talented group of guys here. You will hear the name Jesus, You will Hear scripture, you will love it! Definitely worth the purchase.



2. I'm a middle aged person with very discriminating taste, in 2000
   I pretty much stopped listening to any music that was not gospel
   because nothing else spoke to my heart or soul.....until CM. They are without a doubt creative wordsmiths. I LOVE this treasure from God. Tight beats, great hooks, Truth ya'll!! the production is professional and simply blessed. I'm BUYING everything I can find from Crossmovement. I share it with my grandchildren and feel good not ashamed. HHH has blessed my life.
   
   GOD DOES ALL THINGS WELL.



3. first off the 1st 3 CM cds wer good this holy culture has really changed inso many ways ther lyrics aint the same it jus dint get to me and da sound was so middle eastern that the hindu community wood stair at me as I cruzed down da blvd and all da songs almost sound same,,,aking evry track sound like track one..track number 13 i think it was made me wana gran one of those drsses that show ur belly button..umm i dunno wat its really called..theres an arabic name for it as i recall..well anyways it made me wana grab on of those and belly dance the crap outta myself...the only problem was i had too much hair on my stomach..and i was allergic to those cleopatra wax patches..yeah i know im pretty hair for a 13 year old (wink) (wink)..well anyways..i was so bored of the songs that i i had to do sumthn stupid..so that wat i did i belly danced...thas all i can say about this cd..it has good messaages..but those anoying middle eastern idle worshiping style rythm got in the way...turining my attention to my groovy moving hindi hips..they moved by themselves by the way..all becuz of track 13... well anyways im glad i dindt buy it..i jus boorwoed it from my freind..i set the settings at 4x speed..and it burned good qualtiy..i dindt need to go to the store to have a cd all i did was burn it in the comfort of my own home...im thinking of starting a business..where u burn cd's then go out into the streets and sell em...i dunt know if thats illegal yet...well i unno..ill jus try it and see what happens, well anyways its time to end this review..jus take it from me..if u wana buy this dont..jus burn it or ask somebody to copy it from you..ohh i forgot also theres a whole range of the songs on shareaza and zpoc, ok..well i have to go becuz im buzzy burning..2pacs greatest hits..and shakiras new album i dunt know the title..the one where shes holding a baby in the cover...anyways ill be writing a review soon on black eyed peas monkey business...wich i burned about 9 copies and sold em..great money..ok amazon heres ur review...peace out



4. This is a really sweet cd that I recommend that anyone should listen to. It is a positive influence on the Urban Culture that really reflects the word of God. One of my favorite tracks is "Closer to You" which really reflects that hearts desire to be closer in God. All of their tracks really shows the Word that can really affect our society. It has many good lyrics and a really tight hip hop beat.They are really good leaders that spread the Word of God through their Holy hip hop Culture.

5. First, I want to clarify that this review is based on both mine and my 11-yr-old's view. Though he pretty much likes all of the songs on this album, Tracks 2, 7, 9, 10, 15 and 19 are his favorites. As a parent, I like this group because ALL their songs actually sing/rap about the Lord. My personal favorites are #15 (Closer To You) and #2 (When I Flow...It's Gospel).
   
   With 20+ tracks you will definitely get your money's worth!!

1. De lezers van Christianity Today verkozen veteraan Ashley Cleveland tot Best Female Vocalist. Eerder kreeg ze dezelfde titel met een Grammy. Met haar 2006 release, Before The Daylight¹s Shot, dat ik helaas pas kortgeleden aanschafte (had ik eerder moeten doen!) mag ze van mij zo weer die titel krijgen. De rauwe bluesrock past haar als een leren jack. Of het nu de remake van Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground, de bijbelse geschiedenisles van Queen of Soul of de ingetogen I Need Jesus, de titeltrack of de Streams of Mercy zijn, de CD is geweldig. Andere toppers zijn Ready or Not, Satisfied with Drowning en Leon Russell's Roll Away the stone. De waarheid blijft eenvoudig: "Wrestle with the devil, that's a losing game/ Baby, run for the blessing now/ He'll come back to you by a different name/ Run for the blessing now." Met manlief Kenny Greenberg andermaal als producent, hoop ik dat Cleveland het zingen en gitaarspelen nog jaren volhoudt!
