5 comments about Nick Jr. Baby Curious Buddies - Exploring at the Beach.

  1. My kids (16 mos and 4 years old) both love the curious buddies. My son loves to listen to the music and dance while my daughter now knows the words to all the songs and the movements that go along with them. The entire series is a nice set that my two children can enjoy together. Curious buddies is a educational dvd that teaches without sounding like a drill instructor. Vocabulary is repeated throughout the video, but not drilled. We now own the entire series!

  2. my daughter is 17 months and she loves the whole series. she especially likes the music. this is a great video for any age.

  3. Exploring at the beach is one of our favorite Curious Buddies DVDs. The Curious Buddies captivate my almost 2-year-old's attention and she loves the singing and games they play. Even my almost 6-year-old will watch it with her! :D

  4. My 19 month old really likes this one and it's not too annoying for adults either.

  5. My daughters really love Jack's Big Music Show & I began searching & found out that Spiffy Pictures are the creators of both of these shows. So, I bought Curious Buddies to see if they liked them & THEY ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!!!! We own quite a few of Curious Buddies & they love them all!

4 comments about 150 Fun Songs for Kids.

  1. The selection of songs in this album is excellent and brought me back to my childhood! My only criticism is not the occasional sour notes (they are KIDS after all--and very talented kids at that), but that one of the singers has a lisp. You will hear a few songs like "Thkip to my Lou" and "Yellow Rothe of Texthath". I know it's not the poor kid's fault, but I also don't want my kids to start to imitate the lisp they hear in some of these songs. I'll be looking for alternate versions of some of these songs for that reason, but the majority of the songs are this album are great (the kid with the lisp is the lead singer in only a few of the songs).

  2. Our daughter loves this product. We are enjoying all the fun songs she is learning!

  3. My daughter was given the 25-song single CD as a gift. She loved it so much we bought this 3-CD set for a long car trip. She loves it ("I want to hear my songs") and sings all the songs, even when the music isn't playing. At 2 1/2, she speaks extremely well and we attribute much of that to her singing. However, be warned that the songs will get stuck in YOUR head, too...

  4. I have a cd also from the Countdown Kids and it is great, so I was searching for others and found this one. The accompaniments are interesting and well done, as well as the singing. As an elementary music teacher, I buy many, many cd's for my classroom and am often disappointed by the quality of the singing or the instrumentation. Young children will love this cd and easily sing along.

5 comments about The Wiggles - Wiggle Bay.

  1. The wiggeles for some reason attract the attention of little ones. My oldest granddaughter is 9 now and she loved them . All the wiggles we had were on tapes. They can be played in the extra bedroom on the vcr. But amazon let me order dvd's at a low price to play on the living room dvd player.

Kelsey will watch the wiggies as she calls them over and over again.

  2. It was great having this DVD available at Amazon. Hard to find in the stores.

  3. My little baby, who is less that a year old, LOVES the Wiggles and especially this DVD. Her attention is totally focused on the TV when this movie comes on. Although The Wiggles lack educational value, the video is great fun. There are lots of fun songs that my wife and I sing to my little daughter and we dance and just have a great time watching this video together. Even my 9 year old son, who is defiately "too cool" and too old to watch The Wiggles, sings these songs to his little sister. It's great bonding time for the family with a fun DVD.

  4. The tunes can stick in your head. Not neccessarily what I want. But they do like watching it.

  5. We borrowed this from the library and it will go on my daughter's Christmas list. I thought this was a fun show and loved the location. The songs are fun, the guys are funny, and I am looking forward to seeing it again. I can see myself watching this with my almost 2 year old, and not minding it a bit. I didn't miss that there were not kids, but we have other Wiggles DVDs that do have kids. My husband and I were looking for something that is different than what we already have, and we found it.

5 comments about Winning London.

  1. This isn't Shakespeare, but it's a very fun video. The guys in this one are the best looking of any video Mary-Kate and Ashley have had so far. The plot is predictable, but it has- as with all Olsen twins movies- a happy ending, and will leave you with a happy feeling.

My roomate and I fell in love with it when it first came out, and we're still watching it many years later!

  2. this is a good movie about reaching for your goals and just trying to do your best. but not cheating but using your brain. good movie. buy it.

  3. winning london is cute and fun i would recomend it for ages 9-14
a must have for olsen fans!!!!

    love , babyface

  4. I don't know how that movie even got to my house, I'm pretty sure my parents rented it. Since it was already in my house I decided to watch it. It's an okay movie. Mary-Kate and Ashley are cute as always. And of course they have pretty good boyfriends also. It's a great movie to watch with bunch of friends, girlfriends.

  5. i like this movie its really good! it's not as good as passport to paris or billboard dad but its pretty great!

5 comments about Walt Disney Records : Children's Favorite Songs, Vol. 1 : 25 Classic Tunes.

  1. This, like the other disks in the series, is a wonderful compilation of Americana -- "Folk music" in the pre-1960's sense of the term, meaning songs that parents have taught to their children for generations in America. Most are over a century old, but a few new songs are thrown in for good measure; by and large, the new songs fit well into the collection. The primary singer is occasionally accompanied by a kid's chorus, which keeps the overall sound "clean" and non-irritating to adults, and seems to have helped my 3-year old son pick up the lyrics quickly (he is working on Take Me Out to the Ballgame right now).

  2. My daugther (she's 14 month old) love this CD! It has amazing songs!!! She's so happy with all the music! Excellent!

  3. My daughter loves music and, at 2 years of age, memorized almost every song on this disc the first day. She loves it; I love her cute singing & dancing; it's a winner all-around!

  4. Folksy kind of guitary kind of strummy kinda... Boring. It's well performed with high talent, but kids want goofy-stupid-silly stuff (at least mine does).

  5. Although this product was tracked to Fernly, Nevada it never reached my address in Las Vegas. It is presently being disputed on my credit card. This seems to be the only way to contact Amazon concerning such matters. I give Amazon a "POOR" rating for customer support.

5 comments about Sesame Street - Sing Along.

  1. I bought this for my daughter when she was 4 months old and I bought it in the hopes that she might enjoy it more then the horrid Baby Einstein Videos. I made a GREAT decision. To this day (she is now 18 months) this is one of her favorite Sesame Street videos (she has almost all of them). She use to make us play it over and over again until we couldn't stand it and we all had "Doin the Pigeon" stuck in our heads and would sing it together. I would recommend any of the Sesame Street videos for your kids. She already knows how to say her ABC's and can count (though not always in order for either) but she is still a step ahead of alot of other kids her age and I have to give credit to these videos.

  2. This video was an instant hit with my 19 month old. For the past month or so, he has been watching this video everyday between his evening bath and dinner. My son is usually very active, and its hard to keep him in one place for more than a couple minutes, but the one exception is when he is watching this video.

He first took a liking to the alphabet song and 'old McDonald', both of which we was already familiar with, but then soon enough he was hooked on all the other songs as well.

  3. This item was just as advertised and delivered in good time. The little one loves it, as well.

    My thanks to the Seller.

  4. I remember watching this when I was a kid, and now my son and I watch it together. Madeline Kahn singing "sing what I sing" is priceless.

  5. My child loves this video! She loves music and loves the songs on this video. We enjoy it as well and have yet to tire of it, after repeated viewings. It is true that it doesn't have as much of the muppets on it as you might expect, and there is no Elmo, but if you grew up with Sesame Street (when Kermit was still a reporter, and there was no Elmo or Zoe), this is a wonderful walk down memory lane that you can enjoy with your kids.

3 comments about Pop Goes the Wiggle Nursery Rhymes.

  1. We've really been partial to Greg and had doubts about the Wiggles pulling off a new singer, but Sam is really good too and this DVD is fun, creative and just really entertaining and enjoyable! You won't be disappointed!

  2. My daughter loves both the DVD and this CD. The CD is great in that now we can listen to it both in the car and on the stereo at home in rooms we don't have a TV. I like that she knows all the fun nursery rhyme songs, and they're fun to sing along to.

  3. My 3-year old and newly adopted 2-year old love this CD! We're Wiggles fans so I knew my daughter would enjoy a new release, but I didn't expect my son to go crazy--he's still learning English! We giggled and danced around the house for most of the CD.

Great arrangements, nice variety of instruments and musical styles--it's neat being able to waltz with my little ones or point out the sound of a Bouzouki. Great Wiggles harmony as always ("Chi-baba Chi-baba" is just charming). The lyrics are included in the CD insert.

5 comments about Baby Beethoven.

  1. I must have not read up enough on this product because I thought it was typical Beethoven. It's not. It's kid friendly with dummed-down instruments. I'm not sure how that works with babies, but I find it to be a bit dissatisfying.

I actually bought this for my dogs. I have never used it.

  2. My wife and I received this CD as part of a set, a gift for our baby-on-the-way. I just started to listen to it. All of the music is synthesized, and at mediocre quality. How's that enriching for the baby? You never hear the actual instruments, only a synthesizer's imitation.

Better to get a standard collection of classical music, they're not expensive. They don't have a cute cartoon animals on the front, but are higher quality, and as soothing.

  3. This is a very soothing CD featuring the music of Beethoven in a soothing manner. It is a toned down version of Beethoven's music. It would be comforting to babies, children, and even adults. A great way to introduce children to classical music. I play it in children's yoga classes and they recognize it. Apparently it is already popular with young children. The only downfall is the children really think it is just for babies.

  4. Puts our 6-week old daughter to sleep. What more could you ask for!

  5. One of the first things I bought for my infant daughter was a collection of the Baby Einstein cd's, and I'm so glad I did! My girl just loves to listen and brightens up everytime the orchestra tunes up at the start of the cd. It is simplified, so not as thrilling for mom, but no real complaints... It certainly beats the Wiggles.

5 comments about Peep and the Big Wide World: Peep Figures It Out.

  1. If you love the Peep series (like my 4 kids) this is a must have!

  2. We bought this and Peep Floats to entertain/distract our 14 month old daughter for a long airplane trip. It worked very well. She would laugh out loud at certain points.

  3. We love Peep and Chirp and Quack and all that they teach while being so cute and funny! Top notch programming, so glad we found it!

  4. Absolutely Fabulous!!!!! Great show!!!!

My daughter and my husband and I LOVE Peep and the Big Wide World!!!!

  5. Peep is a wonderful children's series with lots of laughs and great lessons to be learned. There's a great theme song the boys and I sing every morning when they get up. I would recommend this dvd to everyone. Parents would enjoy it as well. We are in the process of colleting all the Peep DVD'S available. If you would like to check this out before you buy, watch PEEP on Discovery Kids channel cable in the mornigs.

5 comments about Goosebumps - Welcome to Dead House.

  1. The Welcome to Dead House video from the Goosebumps series is the spookiest one of the series Ive seen and therefore adore! I recommend anyone to buy this and be amazed!

  2. Welcome to dead house is my all-time favorite goosebumps movie ever! The movie is about a family of four moves into a house in Dark Falls. But,as soon as they move into Dead House, weird things start happening.Their parents don't believe them.Amanda keeps seeing people in their house. For example,Amanda saw Ray in their house and then she met him. Then came a girl who looked dead telling Amanda to get away. You must buy it!!!

  3. This is probably my all time favorite episodes of goosebumps. This episodes is about a family who moves into a new house in a town called dark falls. Once they stay in there house Amanda the sister, notices weird and scary things happening. This episode is also probably one of the scarier episodes in the goosebumps series. You have to watch this episode it was great

  4. This is probably one of the best goosebumps I've ever seen. This episode is about a family of 4 who moves to the town of Dark Falls where they have a new house. The characters in this episode are Amanda, Josh, there dog petey, and then there mom and their dad. Amanda then starts seeing weird and scary things that start happening in their new house, but of course her parents don't believe it. I won't give away anything else, but you have to see this one. It is great!!!!!!

  5. Welcome to Dead House is a pretty good family horror edition of Goose Bumps with some genuine, but not too intense scares for young one. A family of four moves into an old house in a town called Dark Falls. The name Dark Falls is appropriate as it always seems to be dark in the town. Even when the sun is out, the large, overgrown trees seem to always block it out. Josh and Amanda are the two kids that immediately have bad feelings about the town. They meet up with some other kids in town who act very strange and are very pale.

Of course the parents are typical, unbelieving parents who dismiss the kid's as just having bad dreams or the like. But the whole family will soon learn the tragic secret of Dead falls and of the hazardous chemical accident that forever changed the town years before. The film moves pretty well and provides a true sense of creepiness about the town and the new house the family is in. It's one you can watch with the whole family.
