5 comments about SpongeBob SquarePants - Sponge Buddies/Nautical Nonsense.
- This is one of the gretest spongebob videos ever released on both DVD and VHS tape besides the season box sets.
The Episodes on here are "Bubble Stand" in which Sponge and Pat set up a road-side stand where they teach Squidward to blow bubbles, "Texas" in which Sandy gets homesick for Texas (where she comes from), "SB-129" in which Spongebob goes back in time 1,000 years and then forward in time about 1,000 years, "Something Smells" in which Spongebob makes a nasty-smelling sundae and when people start to run from him and his francid breath Spongebob thinks everybody thinks he's ugly, and "The Graveyard Shift" (my favorite episode on this disc), in which Spongebob and Squidward must work the night shift all night and live out a ghost story that Squidward thought was fake.
OVERALL: I suggest (BUY)ing (THIS)!
However, if you can, I would recommend that you pick up the season box sets (1, 2, 3, 4 vol. 1, 4 vol. 2, 5 vol. 1). unless you are a Spongebob nerd/ Spongebob DVD/VHS junkie and just long to have everything SB-related, then THIS UP AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!
- Spongebob is an icon! Spongebob and Patrick, what a combination!!
You cant go wrong with Spongebob!
- We love spongebob, so we can't give it a bad review. But, I have to say this one doesn't have most of my favorites. My one favorite episode in this one is Something Smells. So many good lines in it. The others are good, but not the best.
- Bought for B-day gift for my husband I am sure he is going to love it
- This SpongeBob DVD has great episodes (like always), but as a change - the Special Features are getting better! SpongeBob DVDs always have cool episodes, but sometimes lack of Special Features. I can't say these Special Features are the best because they're not, but they're really good and give you a background on SpongeBob. They're a good amount of extras for the DVD, and even though they could have added more, it's a good amount and are really enjoyable. The episodes are very well chosen and can be enjoyed by all ages! Here are the episodes this product includes and the grade I think they deserve.
1) Ripped Pants = A
2) SB-129 = A
3) Texas = A+
4) The Graveyard Shift = A+
5) Something Smells = A+
6) Jellyfishing = A
7) Dying For Pie = A+
8) Wormy = A
9) F.U.N. = A+
10) Club SpongeBob = A+
Also, three of these episodes (episodes 1, 3, and 9) have great songs sang by SpongeBob, Sandy, and SpongeBob and Plankton. Buy this volume to add to your collection!

5 comments about In The Marvelous Musical Mansion.
- The plot is entertaining and musically educational. It truly captures and holds the attention of both preschool and elementary school age children. I have watched many Wee Sing titles with my children and grandchildren over the years, and I believe "The Marvelous Musical Mansion" is one of Wee Sings best!
- purchased for granddaughter, had purchased several years earlier for own children. Good clean DVD with lots of childrens songs and skits well worth it for anyone
- I think all of the Wee sing products are AWESOME! I grew up on the and now my kids can to since they have come to DVD. I ruined the VHS by watching them to much as a kid! Buy them for your kids you won't regret it. As an adult I still love them and could watch them all day long over Dora or Backyardigans! ENJOY!!!
- I remember watching these videos when I was a child, and I hope my children will enjoy them just as much as I did. Especially Big Rock Candy Mountain and Wee Sing In Sillyville. I never knew what these movies were called when I was younger so being able to find it today and remember what they were just by looking at it..brought back tons of wonderful memories.Especially since I go around and ask people if they remember "little bunny foo foo." Now I finally know what movie I was reffering too. :]
- I'm extremely happy that I purchased Wee Sing's "The Marvelous Musical Mansion". I remember being in elementary school and watching this movie in my music class. Although I was young, I remembered how much I loved the movie and all the unique things in it. Now that I'm older, I can remember how much joy and excitement it brought me to see everything from small music toys magically coming to life, to the musical steps in Uncle Rubato's colorful, one-of-a-kind musical mansion. I highly recommend this movie to parents. I'm sure your child will love this along with many other movies in the "Wee Sing" collection for children. It will truly give them timeless memories.

5 comments about Brainy Baby - Spanish.
- I am a hispanic mother married to an american. I am the only source of Spanish in my household and it is very important to me that my baby learns Spanish. My 18 month old baby has been watching this DVD for about a month now. She sits and watches without interruption for most of the DVD. She really likes it and it's bearable for me to watch with her. Some of the words in the Maria tenia un Corderito song are not pronounced correctly. Also, they use the word Creyón (crayon) which does not appear in the dictionary of the Real Academia Española. My baby seems to like this DVD much better than Cantarima's Numeros y Figuras. This DVD's length is much better than Cantarima. I would recommend and give Brainy Baby - Spanish as a gift.
- Bought this for my 18 month old. He has no interest, would rather watch Plaza Sesamo (sesame street) or the Cantarima series. This is toward older children I assume.
- For those of you who want a bilingual child, starting early is the best way to achieve success. Brainy Baby is a great place to start!
- I bought this for my 21 month old daughter. She is in a bilingual class once a week with Boca Beth materials but this DVD got better reviews so I bought this one. She likes it but only for about 20 mins and then she asks to watch something else. Her attention span at the class is short too - maybe too much new stuff at once??
- My two year old and my 7 month like the video. The words are basic and are repeated enough so my two year old is able to follow with no problem. My toddler enjoys the video and I noticed that she is starting to repeat what is said in the video. Also she started using the sentences from the video on actual conversation such as pointing to the clouds and saying "Nubes blancas".

5 comments about Dan Zanes & Friends - All Around the Kitchen! Crazy Videos & Concert Songs!.
- At first I was disappointed by the video and production quality. But my 1 1/2 year old and my husband and I LOVE the music. Its great folk music that mixes in some Reggae. We love dancing along.
- My toddler absolutely loves this. He cannot sit still for us at all except watching this video. He dances and claps. The kids in the video are all enthusiastic. Great DVD.
- My daughter has loved to watch and listen to Dan Zanes since she was about 12 months old! And I actually watch and listen with her. What I like about Dan Zanes and Friends is how they celebrate childhood. It's not "dumbed down" stuff for kids -- it's sophisticated and fun, cool and funky. My daugther also LOVES the animated videos. She loves the art work. This is not necessarily kids music -- it's FAMILY music.
We heard about Dan Zanes from some friends and I kind of rolled my eyes -- I wasn't going to be that parent playing annoying kids music. This is not that kind of music and not that kind of video. Any parent who wants to foster an appreciation of music should check out this DVD! Any parent who wants to entertain their child for a bit should check out this DVD.
- We like this video a lot. It is a live concert taping and has a little different sound then what you see on television. My kids sing and dance in the back of the car and ask for more.
- The Dan Zanes and Friends' dvd "All Around the Kitchen" is awesome. My 2-year old daughter requests it every morning (and in the afternoons, and in the evenings). She walks up to me or my wife and says "More Dan Zanes, please!" It's a wonderful dvd that's great for the whole family, and not just for the kids. We usually watch it a couple times a day. I hope that Dan Zanes releases another dvd soon!

5 comments about The Mozart Effect - Music for Babies - Playtime to Sleepytime.
- Purchased as a gift, but glad to receive it. Haven't listened to it myself, but I like Mozart.
- My baby boy just like it..... and my wife is enjoying it toooo.... It is a very soothing CD to listen to. It is definitely worth the $$...
- I bought the "Mozart Effect" CD and a few other classical CD's; Bach and another Mozart after my daughter was born in late 1998. We had a difficult time getting her to sleep at night and decided to try playing music to soothe her. The "Mozart Effect" CD worked every time. As soon as she heard the Toy Symphony play she would relax and just listen to the music until she fell asleep. It's been more than a year since we played the CD, and recently when she was ill, she asked to listen to "her music". It still has the same calming effect. Regardless of the controversy surrounding Mozart's ability to make babies more intelligent, I think this music is very comforting and enjoyable.
- I received several classical music CD's as gifts before my daughter was born, and out of all of them (also including classical CD's I had already owned) this is definitely my favorite. It stands out because it is not full of simply "traditional" arrangements but rather is very light and playful - there are all sorts of cute little chirping and whirring noises that add to it as well. It is just a lot of fun, and provides the perfect background for cuddling with your new little one.
There is one comment below from someone who thought the music was too simple and was of poor quality. I would agree that the music is very simple (not a bad thing), but disagree with the notion that it is poor quality. Anyway, this should be just one CD in a library of different types of music, classical and other, to help your child's music appreciation develop. If it happens to expand other developmental skills as well, even better!
- The Mozart Effect - Music for Babies is a pretty good disc. Admittedly not the best Mozart recordings around, but then my child is not exactly picky. I prefer Genie's Angels All Around as a lullaby CD but either The Mozart Effect or Angels All Around would make excellent baby shower gifts.

3 comments about Sing-Along Songs: Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious - I Love to Laugh.
- We have several of the sing along DVDs. This one is just as wonderful as the others.
- My toddler and I are enjoying this DVD immensely! So much that's available to watch includes excitement or lessons about life but not good clean fun and happiness. This DVD is a reminder to me of the more carefree attitude I had as a child and which seems to be lacking in most children older than seven years of age today. We also love Heigh Ho! Sing-Along Songs and Disneyland Fun. The old Disney songs and movies encouraged healthy imagination, and all of these reflect that in the songs.
- On January 3 an all new Disney DVD named Supercalifragilisticexpialidocous will be released on a one - disc set. When you buy this DVD get ready to rock! The songs on Supercalifragilisticexpialidocous are Jolly Holiday, Pink Elephants on Parade, Jolly Holiday and I Love to Laugh. Enjoy!

5 comments about Hymns.
- These CD's are a great bargain! Children are singing so your child can sing along and learn the wonderful hymns that we all learned in church before the more contemporary music came along. Any of the Cedarmont CD's is wonderful and teaches children traditional as well as spiritual songs.
- An album of favorite hymns sung by kids. I enjoy hearing the words of wonderful old hymns both on CD and sung by my kids as they enjoy this album over and over again.
- Great item. It was delivered very timely. My little 18 month old loves the songs, and i like the fact that the second set of songs are split track. I will be ordering silly songs, christmas songs, and others for her.
- This is a favorite CD for my little kids and me to listen to together. It is a treasure today, especially since hymns are not being sung in as many churches anymore- a great opportunity for toddlers to learn ancient hymns full of truth and deep theology. The voices of the children singing are beautiful and upbeat. The price of the CD is just right!
- I have not received this item. I got an email stating that i would be rebated.

5 comments about Learning Basic Skills Through Music Vol. 1.
- My mom was a PE teacher with a focus in early child hood sooo, my sister and I grew up with Hap Palmer. Now it is so much fun to see my little girl beg to here the Elephant and see her starting to do the trunk movement. I will definately be looking for Hap's singing multiplication tables for DD when it comes time.
- I purchased this product for my Kindergarten Students. This CD was originally made in 1969. You can certainly tell that this compilation is over 30 years old; many of the songs are dull and would be unappealing to today's youngsters. Still, there are a couple of really catchy action songs that are great fun. One involves colours and listening skills and the other involves actions. I am so glad I bought it. My students love the "Colour" song and so do I.
- Thanks for the speedy service. As a preschool music teacher this product is a great choice!
- I used this with my own children, and when I was a school teacher, and now I'm buying it for grandchildren. The songs are lively, cheerful, and easy to follow. They create a happy learning atmosphere, and the kids have a lot of fun with it,too. It's also wonderful in the car. I consider it a classic, and a wonderful addition to the development of any child.
- Good CD for the young to sing and do the actions. I used this often in early kindergarten classes.

5 comments about Angelina Ballerina - The Show Must Go On (Christmas in Mouseland).
- I really love this DVD, even though I haven't seen it before. If I were in ballet class and it was auditioning for a dance production called Cinderella, I would want the starring role of Cinderella instead of playing the Wicked Stepmother or Stepsister. I didn't like the part where horrible Priscilla Pinkpaws is chosen to play Cinderella and Angelina is cast as the Wicked Stepmouse. When Angelina quits the ballet, Mr. Operatski re-casts Miss Lilly as the Wicked Stepmouse. But if the show must go on, I might not care about getting the part of Cinderella at all. When Angelina injures Miss Lilly, Mr. Operatski re-casts Angelina as the Wicked Stepmouse again. I don't know why Mr. Operatski wants Angelina to play the Wicked Stepmouse if she is Miss Lilly's best dancer. I might like getting the part of the Wicked Stepmother or Stepsister.
- It is a very charming and intelligent story with very good production quality. My six year old and three year old Grandaughters love it.
- My grandson (he is 3) LOVES Angelina. And, unlike most of the squeaky voiced children's videos, the Angelina Ballerina videos are actually adult-friendly. The artwork is lovely, the stories have morals/lessons, and what I like best is the music! It is not only not irritating, but pleasant to listen to. The voices are Judith Densch and her daughter, among others, and very British, but that is fun too. If you like the books, you will LOVE the videos!
- It's Christmastime in Mouseland, and everyone's favorite little ballerina, Angelina, is auditioning for the role of Cinderella in the ballet Cinderella Mouse and the Ugly Whiskers. Angelina is absolutely positive that she will get the coveted role, as she is the best dancer, but when horrible Priscilla Pinkpaws is chosen to play Cinderella, thanks to Angelina's fear of singing in public, and Angelina gets the less-important role of the Wicked Stepmouse, and storms off in a fit of temper, much to Miss Lily's disapproval. But when a toboggan race between Angelina and Priscilla turns bad, she realizes that thanks to her bad additude, the show will be cancelled, and knows that it's her who has to save the day, because, as we all know, the show must go on!
Fans of the ANGELINA BALLERINA book series, written by Katharine Holabird, and illustrated by Helen Craig, will relish in the screen version of the world's favorite little ballerina. Angelina is a fun, spunky character, and her friends, including Alice, and her little cousin, Henry, make the movie much better. While THE SHOW MUST GO ON is a fun holiday/ballet movie for children of all ages, it also teaches a lesson: you don't always get what you want, but you need to make the best of it. Parents will love the great message that THE SHOW MUST GO ON delivers, and children will love the animation, and storyline. A must-have this holiday season. Erika Sorocco
- We recently purchased this DVD, it is a very nice story and entertaining! My daughter loved it!

5 comments about The Tales of Beatrix Potter (with Dancers of The Royal Ballet).
- My 2 and 1/2 yr old daughter adores this performance, as do I! The costumes look like they came right off the pages of Beatrix Potter's classics. The ballet dancers are extraordinary and set against gorgeous backdrops. The classical music is also a nice change from the pop music often accompanying kids' programs.
- A beautiful ballet. Technically and visually a feast. I was really excited to find it on DVD.
- I absolutely loved this. If you like Beatrix Potter books and stories, you will love this. The costumes are great, so like her paintings that you forget they are people. And the ballet and music is wonderful too. Loved everything about it. In fact I bought another one for a neighbor.
- I loved this dvd. For the very young however, it is a bit long and as there is no audio they would need to know the stories. The scenery, costumes, and dancing were outstanding.
- Joyous! For ballet lovers and children of all ages. Even the littlest ones will enjoy the antics of Potter's characters. Filmed in the English countryside as well as in the studio, this is a delight for the eye. Never tire of watching this one.
