5 comments about P.D. Eastman Are You My Mother?.
- These are probably the three most famous P. D. Eastman books written. This video makes them come alive. Are You My Mother is the tender, heart-warming story of a baby bird who has hatched while his mother was on an errand. He asks animals and other things if they are his mother. He even asks a car! This is also very funny. In Go, Dog, Go!, dogs of all shapes and sizes run around the pages with funny little phrases. The Best Nest is a lesson-teaching story. Two birds are fed up with their old nest and try to find a new one, a bell tower in a church! They learn that old things can matter, but I'm not telling how! These stories are all a bit different, but they all have that same Begginer Book silliness. Are you a buyer?
- You have all read this story, am I right? You have shared this story with your child, am I right? You walk into the store and say, "Hey they actually made a video out of that," Before you put it in your cart, let me give you a breif warning of what is to come. Your experience will change forever. IT changed mine. Orginally you would think that the dog on the cover is sweet and calmly told the bird, "I am not your mother, I am a dog," this video changes this scenario. The dog has a ruff, gruff, mean voice and will scare your child. The "SNOOORRRT" is now a lot more disturbing then it was when you read it. Your kids will laugh no more. This video sucks all the enjoyment out of the book and makes a mockerey of it. Along with "Go Dog Go" and "The Best Nest" this video will ruin some of the three best child books ever created. I advise you now. Buy the book. NO VIDEO! Got it?
- I am a thirteen year old boy and I got this video when I was 2. It delighted me. I watched it very often. Now I watch it with my little brother. There are three storys on this video.
1. Are you My Mother?: This is a story about a little bird who hatchs wihtout is mother here so he hops down and asks a: cat, hen, dog, cow, car, boat,an airplane and a snort,a constrution vichle. In the end he finally finds his mother. A sweet story preparing you for the craziness of the next story. 2. Go Dog Go. This story is crazy. But enjoyable. It talks about dogs acting like humans, by teaching them oposites. Stuff like red means stop and green means go. And at the end the all have a huge party. And one dog always asks another dog. "Do you like my hat?" he responds. "No I do notlike your hat." Until the end when they ride away in the sunset. Now you see what I mean by crazy. But don't worry this video ends with a sweet story. 3. The Best Nest. This story is about a bird couble you wants a new nest. Well Mrs. bird. Mr. bird wants to keep his old nest. Every day he sings, "I love my house I love my nest and in all the world my nest is best" So they look for a house in a: tree hole, a shoe, and a mail box. Then they finally found a nest on a bell in a curch. So they make their nest and mr. bird goes out to sing. Then the bell rings and Mrs. bird flys away. Mr. bird looks for her and he thinks a cat ate her. So then he goes in his old house. And he found Mrs. bird who just layed an egg and the video ends with the egg hatching. So sweet. Overall: The music is good and the animation stinks. But it is the best childrens video I ever watched.
- Our little granddaughter, who is amazing us with her vocabulary, is constantly asking to watch "Mother". The book has been one of her favorites and she was delighted to receive the video from Santa this Christmas. It is delightful.
- I remember reading this story as a child, and recently viewed the video with my nephews who are 3 and 5. This is certainly one of the best works that P.D Eastman has to offer. Fear of losing a parent is one of a child's greatest fears, and this story allows them to explore their fears in a safe and entertaining way. The video moves at the pace of a small child, not unlike the Spot series of videos, which is nice. The story has been translated to video direct from the book so children can recognize the familiar characters immediately.I found it a nice wayto initiate discussion about trust and strangers. Also, to provide reassurance that no matter where they are in the world, and how big they get, they can always find their way home.

5 comments about Very Veggie Christmas.
- I'm a fan of Veggie Tales and generally love their music, but wasn't as impressed with this CD. We have the "Veggie Tales: On the Road with Bob & Larry" CD and love it. Unfortunately it wasn't the same for this Christmas Album.
- This veggietales album is adorable, and their renditions of these Christmas favorites is stellar!
- This was a great Christmas CD! In school, I don't hear anything like "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," or "Angels We Have Heard On High." I don't always hear it on the radio either. So, I was so happy there were traditional songs with a religous message on this CD. The Big Medly has some of the best Christmas Carols ever! The four songs are "Joy to the World," "O, Little Town Of Bethelhem," "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." I thought they were so great, I got some of my friends to Christmas Carol to the CD with me.
"While By My Sheep" is one of the funniest carols on the whole CD. When Juniors sings the song, some sheep repeat what he sang. (Of course, you only hear "Baaa.")
If you like Veggietales and you like Christmas Carols, this is a great CD for you!
- I had the cassette before I watched the VHS The Toy That Saved Christmas. This cassette showcases the songs from the video at the Christmas cast party and has some wonderfully fun versions of Christmas songs.
Children will love it and adults as well. The Eight Polish Foods of Christmas is hilarious. There is also a reference to West Virginia before the song Go Tell It on the Mountain. Be sure to play it in the car or on your home stereo, it is difficult to understand on a portable player. If you are a VeggieTale fan this is a must have.
- Bob the Tomato is hosting the first annual Veggie Christmas party. It promises to be an international night, with Larry, Junior, Archibald, and others performing Christmas songs from around the world. And the food will be traditional Polish Christmas dishes. If Oscar the caterer ever shows up.
This CD is fun for all ages, just like other VeggieTales products. I frequently find myself laughing and singing along. It does feature the songs from their first Christmas video, The Toy that Saved Christmas, so if you're looking for that soundtrack, this is the place. They mix some lesser known Christmas carols together with more familiar ones, so it seems fresher then many adult Christmas CDs. Of course, it's hard not to like a CD that features the silly song "Oh Santa!" If your kids are fans of these veggies, they'll play this disc over and over during the holiday season. A sure fire hit that will please everyone who hears it.

- I am a kindergarten teacher and I highly recommend this, as well as other CJ cd's, my kids love all of the songs. They are great to sing and to dance to!!!
- I just got this cd and think it's great. I have enjoyed most the 5 little monkeys. But another favorite is Hey-O because of its originality. The song is exciting and boosting for a great day. Thanks for producing this and allowing anyone to get it.
- I really really like CJ. I think that FUNdamentals is the best cd ever. My Mom bought me this cd and we listen to it on car trips and even my Dad likes to sing along to it. My big brother did not want to sing but even he wants to listen to it whenever we go somewhere as a family. Thank you CJ for making this cd, you're the best.
Also, Mr Sun is my favorite song all time, if I had to choose an all time favorite. "oh mr. sun, sun, mr. golden sun, please shine down on me."

1 comments about Hooked on Baby: Read, Rhyme and Play.
- I have all the Baby Einstein collection for newborn babies and I got to say. I bought this one at the mall yesterday, cause I asked for Baby Einstein and they didn't have.
My baby usually fusses to sleep, I have to rock her and sing to her on the hammock and then move her to the craddle.
She slept last night, this morning and this afternoon with this video. If I put her alone she'll look at it and don't even blink, with Baby Mozart from Baby Einstein when the slow music plays she cries (maybe she thinks I am trying to force put her to sleep, cause we also have the lullaby cds of BE) but this dvd is AMAZING!
Baby Einstein moms, TRY this one!!!
Yasmin is 4 months and she LOVED it!

5 comments about The Land Before Time VI - The Secret of Saurus Rock.
- in the land before time six it has been a few months since the reunion of little foot and chomper in land before time five. When a series of bad luck strikes the valley after the accidental desturction of Sarus rock. Little foor and his frined petri, sara spike, and ducky must ,ake things right again to save the valley. This movie should be fine for kids ages 12 and up due to occasional scenes with mild cartoon violence and intensity, and mild scary images. If you have kids that like this series but are to young to watch it there is also a land before time tv series that first aired about a couple of weeks ago. The broadcast times differs depending which state or contient you live on. It usually comes on around 9:30 AM here and either befor or after this in the other parts of the world depending on the time differnce between country or city you live in. Can little foot and his friends once again save the day in there newest adventure. This actually not the newest movie but the newest one that they have brodcast on tv was great Long Neck Migration tinnosaurus deep water, and the day of the flyers have yet to be broodcast on Cartoon network. If these movies are broadcast they usally skipp around in the series rather than showing them in chronological order. If you don't want to collect these individual you can get either the first four movies at once or the first nine movies at once. The four movie set tends to be cheaper than the 9 movie set it can cost less 30$ to get the first for movies in DVD fomat if you get them in like new condition instead of good or new condition. I recommend you don't get new version o dvds unleash they are real cheap aunder $20 or $15 dollars like the Epoch Evolution.
- We own probably 8-9 of the Land Before Time series and without question this is the volume that my 3 year old boy will play the most often. His older cousin's mom told me this was her daughter's favorite also. I think kids like the character, Doc, a "long neck" with a John Wayne attitude. The young dinosaurs believe that Doc may be the legendary long neck who long ago defeated a T-Rex and saved the other dinosaurs in the valley. Kids also seem to like the songs in this movie, which are definitely a step up from many of the others. If you're looking to only get a couple from the series, I would recommend the first movie and this one.
- My son absolutely loves the video...was very happy to recieve the tape before his birthday...very difficult to locate because they were produced about 9 years ago...
- i love the land before time movies but this is my favorite land before time and this has the best song lone dinosour
- I don't care for this one, it's cute, but that's all. It doesn't have the beauty like the oringinal nor does it have a meaning like in the 7th and why always about the long necks? If you notices there was many about Little Foot only one about Petrie, one about Ducky and Spike and none about Cera! Little Foot is starting to annoy me. So is Cera.

4 comments about The Animated Passion Trilogy.
- I was impressed by this collection. Great for the entire family, kids and adults can learn from these movies. Highly recommended.
- I watched this with my children,(6 and 9 yrs old) it sparked alot of questions and kept their attention. They really enjoyed it and so did I. I can't wait to share it with others. Well Done!
- I remember these cartoons! I watched them about 15 years ago! Of course they finally got it on DVD! So the person who wrote a bad review, it was not after Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ movie, so it's no spin off! Nor is it to commercialize Christianity. It sounds like the person didn't even watch any of the movies but decided to stop by and leave a negative review. These are definitely for kids and tailored to them so they can learn about Christ's sacrifice and the work he did while he was on earth. I was only 6 or 7 and I remember crying...but this is definitely something to get the kids! It's timeless!
- Unsure about showing Mel Gibson's, Passion to your children, this is your 'viewer friendly' alternative. From Nest Entertainment comes the story of Jesus Christ's persecution, death on the cross, burial and resurrection. In this special 'trilogy' edition, you also receive a retelling of the second coming of Christ(book of Revelation) through parables. Original music and quality animation make this Disney-styled trilogy a hit! It's worth every penny for the whole family.

5 comments about The A-Files: Alien Songs.
- I love this cd. I bought a used copy, and it was in mint condition. Not only do I love this cd, but my soon to be 4 year old son loves it too. It is very rare that my husband and I can find music that we both like and that is appropriate for a child as well.
- I have always loved Alvin & The Chipmunks, and it's a given, even till today. This CD is extremely wonderful and fun to listen and sing aloud to, even dancing. *coughs*forme*coughs*. All of the classic songs being Chipmunk remixed. I think even some are better than the originals. I only give it 4 stars, cause like everyone, Track 3 and 8 get tired or old pretty quickly when talking, though is fine to listen to anyway. Still, this will never be a disappointment, I assure you.
I always thought Alvin was the best singer out of all of the group (I even like his voice out of all of them too, and even my friend agreed with me), since he could hit the perfect melody, the right pitch, and high soprano sounding really smooth and husky when needed, even though he's the one that usually sings the lead. The others are great, but his tone appeals to ME the most. My personal favorite is "Purple People Eater", in here Alvin's voice really stands out, and in some parts, though still squeaky but controlled, is silky and to the beat. Another is "Rocket Man", though I would have preferred it without Dave interrupting, and "Mr. Spaceman" (I had fun with this one). As for The Chipettes, I definitely like "Venus".
But the best is The Chipmunks & The Chipettes version of "The Time Warp". It's so much better than the original is not even funny, and is the one I repeat the most and never get tire of. It starst out with a Twilight Zone Theme, and then it goes into the actual song. Simon plays the Narrator, Alvin plays RiffRaff, doing an awesome job rocking out some of the last lines when reaching the chorus, in that perfect raspy high pitch of his again, Brittany as Magenta (I can tell her voice, besides who else?), and Theodore doing the Columbia solo *glomps* (SOOO cute!), while the chorus are sang together by the 2 groups.
A must buy for any Chipmunk loving fan.
- I am giving this CD five stars because, despite the two awful cheesy dialogue heavy Star Wars-Cantina Band and X-Files Theme. Those sketches are babyish and embarrassingly unfunny, but luckily the quality of the rest of the album makes up for this deficit. The best songs on the album are easily Purple People Eater (a very sharp remix), Venus (I don't mind the dialogue during this song, for some reason, as it is cute) and The Time Wrap. The remixes are excellent and fun to listen to regardless of if you love the Chipmunks and for Chipmunk fans it's the best new material we've had from them and ages. This album is always in my stereo and I just make sure to always skip tracks 3 and 8.
- This is another cd I first heard when working in children's radio. I really enjoyed listening to most of the songs on this album. My favorites include:
"Purple People Eater" "Men In Black" "Rocket Man" "Venus" "The Time Warp" "Mr. Spaceman" My favorite song is by far "Rocket Man". I think the Chipmunks have made a better version that the original. I only give this 4 stars instead of 5 stars because though I enjoy listening to the "X-Files Theme" and "Star Wars-Cantina Band", once listening to the dialogue versions found here is enough. Overall, a great album for any Chipmunks fan, space fan junky, or person who loves great children's music.
- I never thought I'd like the Chipmunks so much, but this CD is awesome! These were good songs before the Chipmunks sang them,so now they're even better!I enjoy Mr. Spaceman the most, but it's hillarious to listen to the Chipmunks sing Men In Black! This is a great CD!
