4 comments about Goosebumps: Scary House.
- I have not had very much experience with ebay as of yet but for the little I have had it has been really good. The products are received promptly in great condition and the site is pretty easy to use. I have only had one bad experience with an item shipment but the product was also just what I had expected. I look forward to doing more business in the future.
- As noted, this DVD contains two stories. I haven't seen the second one yet, but "The House of No Return" wasn't very exciting. Three kids form a club and initiate others into it by having them stay 1 hour in a creepy house. It's pretty silly, since the three admit that they've never done it themselves.
In comes Chris, the new kid in town. Why he pays the 3 any attention is surprising since they are very mean and arrogant. He turns down their offer to go into the house for their club, so they grab him and lock him in the house. They tell him as he fights to get out that he can join their club after the hour. This is so stupid. Why would he want to after they were so mean to him? I won't spoil the ending, but Chris does get back at them in the end.
Pretty weak episode, unless you find 2 people walking down a staircase with white makeup on scary. That's about it for the chills. That is if you don't count how homely the girl in the episode is. What a hound! I had a hard time looking at her. Also, the story just suddenly ends without any clue what happens next. It's like R.L. Stine realized how bad this story was, and suddenly decided to end it.
If you want a great teen show for scares, try "Are You Afraid of the Dark?". It is done so much better.
- This Dvd includes 2 episodes, the house of no return and the haunted house game. THe house of no return was good, but nothing that scary happened until right before the episode ended. I kind of wanted to know what would would happen next when this one was over. The haunted house game was good to. I found this episode to be more funny than scary. This one is about two kids who get trapped inside a scary game and then they try to escape. this dvd is definetly worth watching.
- Ok there is not really an episode on this DVD called SCARY HOUSE.
But who really cares!? I actully sent a (...)letter to R.L. Stine asking him to release a GOOSEBUMPS SEASON on DVD, and so when Isaw this posted on borders.com I really thought this was a season of Goosebumps released to DVD. But whatcha' gonna' do? But I have to say for all you people who want a new GOOSEBUMPS DVD then stay the hell away from this! It's nothin' like Goosebumps, it's like the writers of MY TEACHER ATE MY HOMEWORK actully stepped over to write for GOOSEBUMPS, but no. I looked at the opening credits of of THE HOUSE OF NO RETURN(the first episode on this DVD) and it said teliplay by BILLY BROWN&DAN ANGLE.-THE BRIAN

5 comments about Disneymania, Vol. 6.
- I ordered this cd for my daughter. Ordering online was EASY and the cd was sent IMMEDIATELY to my home! My daughter absolutely LOVES it!
- My grandson said, "Grandma, you rock!" when he saw the Disney Mania 6 CD in his birthday bag...
- My daughter loved it and she likes Demi Lovato, Camp rock, jordan pruit you know but she does not like ever ever after by jordan pruitt to much. She reccomends My shoes by jordan pruitt. Enjoy this great CD!
- Its the first disney mania i have ever purchased... but im happy that i did.. i love that its various artist and the fact that they are singing songs ive heard before.. they put their own twist on it.. i liked that..
- This CD is a bunch of my favorite Disney songs, butchered. Even more annoying are the tweens who support and buy this stuff who can't even tell the difference between Disney music and *real* music. Buy the originals - don't waste your money on this.

5 comments about My Baby Can Talk - First Signs.
- I purchased this video when my adopted son was diagnosed as being "speech delayed" at 9 months. It was absolutely fascinating to see him respond to the simple signs that helped him communicate with me. I would play the video with him sitting in front of me and we would practice the signs together. It helped him see other children actually using the sign language to communicate words. He loved it and I did too. It wasn't very long before he was signing several words to tell me what he wanted. I tied this video with others because they each provided a different way of communicating sign language and words. I found it was most useful to have different videos produced by different companies to offer a broader range of learning. If I have another child, speech delayed or not, I will incorporate sign language videos at an early age to assist in teaching vocabulary and speaking words correctly via sign.
- I purchased this video for my 11 month old, who usually won't sit still for more than 5 minutes, and she LOVES it! She will sit and watch the whole video and is completely enthralled by it. What's even more impressive is after just 3 weeks she can make 3 of the signs from the video. I found it helpful to see how a baby might make the signs so I knew what to look for when she started to sign.
- Our twelve-month-old wakes up in the morning and does the sign for dog as she says 'dog' and points up to the video shelf. Dog is her name for the video.
These video's really work. She is starting the third video now and is using new signs every day.
She tells us when she wants milk, is hungry, thirsty, in pain, needs a diaper change, as well as when she sees animals of all kinds. People are blown away when we demonstrate what she can do.
Probably the most profound impact that signing has had on her is that after learning the sign for pain (which is not in the videos) when she hurts herself, she tells us she has pain and where it is. Then when we make the sign for pain and touch her where it hurts, she immediately stops crying. She communicates the pain to us and we let her know that we understand and she no longer feels the need to cry about it. It is amazing.
We let her see one of the videos about four or five times a week and we sign with her throughout the day. We started at about 8 months and within about two weeks, she started signing 'milk'. She picked up about 5 or 6 signs before about the tenth month and then came the explosion of signs. She talks to us all day now in signs. Signing with your baby is a wonderful thing that I'm glad we decided to do.
Although it would be possible to teach your baby signs without the video, the videos are wonderfully effective and I'm sure that our baby wouldn't be doing as well without them.
- My daughter has delayed speech and the therapist recommended sign language. My daughter loves baby Einsteins since she was real you and she likes this just as much. It has nice music and she repeats the things that she sees and hears. Very good product!
- My second daughter seemed "quiet" compared to my first, so we bought this DVD hoping she'd learn some signs and find something fun to watch on TV and this did both. She likes to watch it. The music and signing makes it fun for both of us to watch and do together. And, her speaking started along great once we started this! She was 18 months old when we started with it and is a few months past age 2 now, but I'd say this would be great for 12 mos to 3 years. It's a super DVD. I'd like to buy the others!

5 comments about Classic Nursery Rhymes.
- I really enjoyed this CD. My son and I can listen to it over and over - and it doesn't get too juvenile like many children's CDs do. Really well done with great arrangements. Susie has a wonderful voice and the dynamics come through well. Classical instruments on many of the songs makes it easy to imagine you're hearing this in an english cottage 200 years ago around a family gathering.
- This CD is awesome. The whole family loves it! The variety of singers/accents/music-styles had my kids smiling and dancing along from the first song to the end. Tallman's collection of poems and songs is colorful and happy. After listening to it a few times, even my 2 yr old was reciting poems around the house! This is one CD we can listen to over and over again and enjoy every time. Highly recommend it.
- We got this as a gift when our daughter was born and she absolutely LOVES this album. Susie Tallman has a lovely voice and she brings a lot of originality to this collection of nursery rhymes. We listen to it all the time and as a adult, I actually enjoy it. Some other review compained about that it was non-traditional, but that's exactly why we love it. The songs & rhymes are distinct and fun and my daughter (9 months)laughs at the silly voices. We bought several more of her albums and also really like Children's Songs and Lullaby Themes.
- I must start by saying that I disagree with T. Carlsen's review of this CD. Every nursery rhyme included is indeed a classic. However, they are not done in a very traditional style, which must be what T. Carlsen means. That being said, in my opinion this CD's strength is that it's NOT the same as every other kids' CD out there. Tallman arranges her songs in a wide array of musical styles, from straight up rock to rap to country to folk, and that's what endears it to my 15-month old son, my husband, and me. My husband and I are both big music fans and have always expressed our desire to expose our son to as many types of music as possible. "Classic Nursery Rhymes" is a great start!
- I use it in the car a lot. It is quite entertaining and at the same time useful as an education tool (rythm, words, memory training, etc).

4 comments about Knuffle Bunny... and More Great Childhood Adventure Stories (Scholastic Storybook Treasures).
- Like Trixie, my 3 yr old daughter has a very special bunny. We fell in love with the Knuffle Bunny and Knuffle Bunny Too books right away. Our daughter can really relate to Trixie and now and then even calls her bunny 'knuffle bunny'. As far as the dvd, our daughter loves watching Knuffle Bunny, Planting a Rainbow and Will I Have a Friend?. The other stories don't seem to have her interest, however that is probably just an age or personality thing. I am happy for her to watch books being read to her and word tracking on the screen. Our daughter loves to be read to, but I think she enjoys seeing some familiar books come alive with animation.
- Knuffle Bunny is great, it's awesome - but it's only 5 minutes long. The Scholastic Storybook Treasures feature a "main event" that gets you to buy the disc. Then they fill the rest of the DVD like the undercard of a major boxing match. The second story - "Shrinking Violet" is very good also. Two good stories, but the remaining stories are quite boring. At least, my three and a half year old thought so. Knuffle Bunny and Shrinking Violet are worth the price, just don't expect the full DVD to be as good as Knuffle Bunny.
- Knuffle Bunny is a wonderful story to share with young children and this video enhances the story by making it even more special. Having both Trixie and her dad narrate makes the story more real. I used in with my K-2 grade library classes and both boys and girls identified with Trixie losing her bunny. They all laughed when she started bawling and her daddy tried to hide with her behind a tree. They all also know what going 'boneless" meant and many admitted that they had gone "boneless" more than once. The love between father and daughter shines bright, making this a must have video for lovers of the book.
- Knuffle Bunny is one of our family's favorite books and we can't wait to see the DVD. We have other Scholastice Storybook DVDs and have never been disappointed. They are true to the original book, gentle and adorable--we don't even feel guilty letting our children watch them, and our kids absolutely love.

5 comments about Catch That Train!.
- Some kids music is rather annoying for adults. This album is very enjoyable for everyone. My husband and i like it as much as our kids do. Dan Zanes and They Might Be Giants are some of our favorites.
- Great recording, all of the arrangements are very well done. The contributions of other artists are done in taste. This is good listening for either children or adults. I am thinking this is similar to the work of Woody Guthrie's when he was writing and performing songs for his and other children. With all the American Idol, pop-crap out there it is recordings like this that reinforce what music is really about, listening to nice melodies that make us feel good about being alive.
- There are catchy beats and neat lyrics! The syle needs to be your taste to really get into it as an adult, but the kids seem to love it.
- We purchased this record for grandchildren aged 2-6 and they loved it. Almost as good was that we adults found the music pleasurable and fun too. The CD was packaged artistically with all the lyrics in a song booklet. The CD's story theme could have been more pronounced so that younger children might more easily identify with the story. That said, we danced up a storm. We're buying other Dan Zane CD's for our enjoyment and will make them future presents to the g-kids. Highly recommended.
- If you want some fun music that won't drive you up a wall, make you feel like you're 2 or send you screaming from a room, this is a great CD! Not your traditional kids music but so much more fun! There's a great variety of musical styles and they are just fun songs to hear over and over. If you've seen his videos on the Disney Channel you'll know what to expect. Really great - can't say enough about how good the music and lyrics are. Check it out!

5 comments about Little Mermaid.
- I have such a soft spot for musicals -- especially Disney musicals. The Little Mermaid is one of my very favorites -- most of the songs are so catchy I can't help but tap my foot and sing along. After a bad day there's nothing better than turning this puppy on full blast. Every song you remember is here, including the wonderful orchestral score.
The bonus songs are terrifying, however. Whoever thought that the Little Mermaid needed to be put to horrific, half-baked pop/r&b and shrieked by children of dubious talent should probably have large rocks thrown at them. Just a suggestion. However, I chose to ignore them, and I rate this disc by the value of the first disc, whose superior quality easily drowns out the second CD's terrifying contributions.
Anyway, just get this CD and enjoy the delightful croonings of Ariel and co! You won't regret it!
- Ive always loved the Little Mermaid and was excited to see this set, but I have to say I was disappointed to hear the Jonas Brothers singing Poor Unfortunate Souls. When Ursula sings this song kids know she's one of the "bad guys" but its a strange message that daughters and their friends get when the hottest boy band out today is singing about girls needing to basically shut up and be pretty to get a man. Stick with the originals and skip disc 2.
- I bought this CD mainly for the Jonas Brothers song, "Poor Unfortunate Souls". But the whole CD is excellent & I liked it so much that I played it twice the day I got it!
- The CD certainly captures the essence of the film. My daughters enjoy listening to the CD while they are playing and they don't have to be watching tv all the time!
- Little Mermaid was the first video I ever owned myself. Loved it from the first day I saw it. I don't hold the same view as I did as a child but it's still a wonderful story. And the music is just plain fun. The best part of this special edition is Ashley Tisdale's rendition of Kiss The Girl. Let me start by saying I have issues about Disney's need to turn every actor into a singer and every singer into an actor and the promote them to the ends of the earth. And it's not so much Ashley Tisdale - though she's very talented - that makes me love this version of the song. Whoever revised the arrangement is who I'd like to really thank. I love every thing about how this version was put together. Upbeat. Fun. Totally "sqeeable". But then I'm a hopeless romantic.

5 comments about The Wiggles - Wiggly Safari.
- My 2-1/2-year-old granddaughter loves the Wiggles and especially the Wiggly Safari. After renting it from a video store, she was sad when it had to go back, so now she can watch it any time! :)
- My granddaughter loves this DVD. She loves to watch the animals on this DVD as well as Steve Irwin.
- Wiggles and the Australia Zoo - what could be better? if you have a child who loves the Wiggles AND loves animals, this is an interesting change from the Wiggles and Animal Planet shows you may switch between. Not as much dancing and catchy pop as some of the other Wiggles DVDs, but just as nice. All the characters are there, as well as the late Steve Irwin, his family and other people from the zoo.
- The first time I actually heard of the Wiggles was while watching "Crocodile Hunter". This movie incorporates these two major Australian exports into a fun show for kids and adults. We watched this tape last week when my toddler son was in the hospital and it was the most enjoyable of all the kid's tapes offered by the hospital's Child Life department. I also became a bit nostalgic for Steve Irwin who died more than a year ago. My only complaint about this tape is it's too short!
- The Wiggle's and Steve Irwin, what more could you ask for? My son didn't like it at three but now that he's a little closer to four he gets into learning about the animals. Definately better for the four to five year old set.

- I have a 7 and 5 year old and this is pretty much all we listen to. This is the first Kidz Bop that we've had. It keeps everyone happy and it's not THAT annoying. I'm hoping number 14 is just as good.
- We rented this CD from the local library- my daughter is 8 yrs old and absolutely LOVES it. She played it and just started dancing and feeling sooo soooo happy! I even love it because a lot of the songs are played on the radio- kids add a special touch to the artist!! We will be purchasing this CD soon. The best kidz bop to date!!
- My 6.5 yr old loved it. Says she much preferred it to Kids Bop12.
- My kidz love this CD! Excellent seller too!!!! 5 Stars
I have it in my car and we listen to it EVERY DAY!
- My kids ages 7, 5 and almost 2 love this CD -- even mom likes it too. This is the only Kidz Bop CD we own and we really enjoy it. Many of the songs sound like they are being sung by the original artist.
