1. This dvd is pretty good. It's not as good as the Baby Mozart, but it's not bad either. My son will watch it, but I have to keep directing his attention back to it at times. The music is not as peppy as the Baby Mozart, but Baby Bach is still musical in nature-making it better than all of the other Baby Einstein dvd's we have with the exception of Baby Mozart.



2. This is a wonderful gift for a new baby -- the music lulls them to sleep, and by the time they reach the ripe old age of 3 months, they will be watching the TV as the shapes go with the music! I wish these had been around when my kids were babies!



3. My 10 month old daughter loves this video and Amazon got it to me in two days! Excellent.



4. I just love the music and colors. My son just stares and i get house chores done while he is mesmorized.



5. I watched this dvd with my 11 month old. It was ok, but she didn't seem as interested in it as the other Baby Einstein movies that we have. It just didn't grab her attention like some of the others.

1. i bought this dvd even after i read the horrible reviews on amazon but after watching it with my 2 young children, i realize it's not all bad. yes the production isn't as high tech as the new releases, but it is nice to see the guys starting out.(i swear Anthony is wearing a greenish shirt. Why did they decide on a blue wiggle and not stick with the green?) Also the two different Captain Feathersword(one being Anthony the other his brother) were no where near as good as Paul(the guy you all know and love as the captain) but it was nice to see how even that character has evolved! Not all that bad dvd and the music still sounds the same!



2. This item indicated that it included 3 discs, Wiggle Time/Dance Party/Hoop dee doo, but it really only included 1 disc, dance party. I paid $21.99 plus shipping for 1 very old dvd! Not happy!



3. I ordered this product and recieved only The Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I called up customer service and told them that I recieved only one of the videos. They were very nice and said that they would send me a replacement order at no charge. When I recieved the second package in the mail it too was just the Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I noticed that the label on the back was incorrect which is why I kept recieving the wrong DVD. I told this to customer service hoping that we could get this issue resolved. On my third shipment I again recieved only The Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I give up! My sons love the Wiggles and it's just disappointing that they couldn't take the time to fix this for me.



4. I have to disagree with the people who dislike this video for its low production values--that's precisely why we like it. The songs are great -- all the classics are here. Also, the skits are few and relatively short. (Our two-year-olds get bored during the skits and long conversation-pieces.) There aren't a huge number of distracting colors and lights on the stage; just tons of good singing and dancing. We love this video, along with "Wiggle Time", which is also a relatively early pre-Disney production of theirs.



5. Yes, the production quality is awful; Anthony's hair looks like he doesn't own a mirror; and in half the scenes Anthony has on a short sleeve shirt/half long sleeved. However, it is still my favorite.
   
   Dance Party was our family's first introduction to the Wiggles in 2003. My son (now 5 1/2) had a HUGE Wiggles obsession right as they first started gaining popularity in the US.
   
   The songs were silly and fun, whereas many of the later ones seem like they ran out of ideas and yet still felt compelled to keep writing songs, no matter how stupid they are. Maybe I only feel this way because these are the Wiggles songs that I knew first, but all of the subsequent Wiggles videos we have (close to 10!) just don't measure up.
   
   Perhaps it is because I watched it a million times before they even HAD a "real" big red car, but there is something appealing about 4 guys and their Cardboard props that is more original and refreshing than the over commercialized, over-done videos that followed.

5 comments about Make Mine Music (Disney Gold Classic Collection).

1. This wonderful Disney Classic is a must for any true collector. It is made in the style of Fantasia and my kids all love it.



2. Ok there are some points I love. This was my first introduction to the poem Casey at the bat for example. the whale who wanted to sing at the met always made me smile.
   However I must say while I loved the vivid coloration of it and seeing Peter and the wolf Disney sensored there too and took an enormous liberty. In the orriginal story the duck was swallowed whole. Leaving it a sort of bittersweet victory and proving that this wolf was a dangerous animal. I guess it was to keep from tramatizing kids but Sasha the duck comes out of a hollow tree at the end. Making it both lighthearted and goofy. Plus the duck and the bird were not friends and while Grandfather deep down was probubly proud of Peter he had his more adult and practical view in the original writiting of it of what if Peter had not been sucessful what then? I really wish they'd left Peter and the wolf as originally written. Kids won't understand that version if they're fed the sugar coated one.



3. For people who love disney and music this is a beautiful dvd.
   Made with care and fun.



4. This is a fun, interesting, and creative Gold Disney DVD as the music, and short musical stories are superior to anything Disney is creating today...I am certain you will enjoy this captivating program as much as our family does...worth every penny! Go For It!!



5. Overall my son and I enjoyed this DVD. The quality is even better than the original release and they just don't use music in cartoons like they used to. However, don't be fooled this Peter and the Wolf version has been severely truncated from Prokofiev's original. I conduct orchestras for a living and assure you that the music, narration, and storyline have been substantially altered and shortened from Prokofiev's original. While Disney's productions have helped to expose a wider audience to classical music, I feel it is worth mentioning that they unapologetically alter the composer's creation and then present it as the original. Fantasia has similar artistic compromises throughout. I suggest the more recent release of Peter and the Wolf by Sting and conducted by Cladio Abbado if you are in search of a more accurate representation of Prokofiev's work.

1. My son's face lights up when I play this CD in the car. I like the variety of songs and children's voices. I don't particularly like the children's CDs with adult voices because I think it sounds cheesy (unless its Julie Andrews- only exception). Needless to say, I am really glad I found this one.



2. I got this CD for my daughter on her 1st birthday. She loves it. Although some songs were repeat from her other CD, it has different lyrics and helps me combine all the different versus when I sing back the song to my daughter. She listens to it daily on her way to day care and enjoys it everytime. I like the fact that all the songs are sung by kids.



3. I looked a long time for a children's CD that had actual kids' voices, but was understandable and inexpensive. I have a almost 5 year old, 2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old. I mainly bought it for my 2 1/2 year old girl because she loves to sing. She obviously loves it and has fun trying to sing with all of the songs. What was surprising was that my almost 5 year old enjoyed it too. He has Aspergers (a form of autism) and often gets upset when I put new music on. I even found him singing along with a few songs. Quite a miracle for him! The most surprising thing though was that I enjoyed it too and found myself singing along. The songs brought back a lot of great memories when I was a kid and I even learned a few new songs. This is definitely a cheap way to keep your kids entertained without the TV. It was definitely worth the few dollars I paid for it.



4. This CD has most of the typical toddler favorite songs so my 2 yo enjoys it. The price was right- and it makes her happy- but don't expect spectacular vocals- some of the kids are too young to sing in tune LOL. I don't really see the point of the second set of tracks though....



5. My daughter is obsessed with this CD. It's so nice to hear a children's CD where the kids can actually sing and it's not irritating to listen to. We can't go anywhere in the car without a Cedarmont Kids CD. The song choices are great, and it's a wonderful change from CDs where either the kids simply yell/sing or adults pretend to sing like kids. Thank you!

5 comments about Indigo Teen Dreams: Guided Relaxation Techniques Designed to Decrease Stress, Anger and Anxiety while Increasing Self-esteem and Self-awareness (Indigo Dreams).

1. For over one year, my 12 year old had major problems going to sleep after starting middle school, going to sleep over 1 hr past her bedtime, and getting migraines the next day. It continued even into the summer, and I was getting less sleep too. I tried an amateur CD made by a therapist but it didn't work;I was I went on Amazon and tried Indigo Dreams the night that it arrived, and for 2 months now, my daughter has been able to put herself to sleep in 15-20 min with this CD! We use a CD player that has a sleep function that decreases the volume and turns off at the preselected time. There are different tracks - intro, breathing, muscle relaxation, visualization, affirmation, etc. The techniques the kids use will be helpful to decrease anxiety before test, competitions, etc. The narrator's voice is soothing but not creepy. I'm a physician and have recommended this CD to my teenage patients to help with sleep and not just pop a pill, and the adult Indigo Dreams for my adult patients. I have to burn copies in case the original CD gets scratched because we can't survive without it!!



2. I know from actual teens that this is an amazing relaxation process! It's very peaceful and understanding. It's very good for teens dealing with anxiety, anger or just everyday stress! It really prepares you for everyday situations by teaching you breathing exercises and affirmations so you know what to do next time you feel stressed or anxious! A real winner!



3. I only listened to it once; it's a christmas present for my two teens. It was ok.



4. i have listened to this but have not been able to get my teenage son too. great calming techniques; the cover is more girl friendly though i think...



5. My daughter who had been weepy and sleepless, found herself giggling hysterically to this cd the first time I put it on. I considered this a good thing. And although she thought it was dorky (repeating "I am a good person" while she felt terrible caused much laughter), she vowed to do it each night as the relaxation techniques later on the CD worked for her. I listened for a few minutes and thought the affirmations were a bit awkward and the music was a bit dorky. But all in all it's given my teenager a good attitude about meditation and for that I think it's a decent start.

5 comments about Sesame Street - Elmo Says Boo.

1. My two-year-old granddaughter loves Elmo, I love anything Halloween, we both love the Count, so this DVD was made for us! If you're looking for something fun and off the beaten Elmo path, then this is it! The story line is Elmo is going to visit the Count at his castle to share some "scary" jokes with him, and fun monster songs and "old school" songs by the Count are mixed in between. My granddaughter watched this everyday for a week (and then five times in a row when she was sick) when we first discovered it, and she still enjoys revisiting it. I must confess that I loved the songs so much that I bought one of the now discontinued CDs of the same title, and my granddaughter loves listening to the music when we drive around in the car (she always asks for "more" after each song ends ;). Believe me, once you see this DVD, you'll never stop singing the Count's "bones, bones, bones" song. (Please note: this DVD can get a little scary in places when the skeletons come out or some of the monsters growl. My granddaughter was scared the first time she saw them, but after we labeled them as "scary," she likes them and will point out--with a smile--to me the "scary" moments when they come.)



2. they will LOVE this video! My kids adore the Count (when we go see the Bats at the zoo, they say AHH AHH AHHH). Its got lots of old/new snippets about spooky things. The songs Bones is especially good. I recommend!



3. It actually did scare my kids a bit so I am not sure I recommend it. They do not want to watch it again.



4. I like this halloween special, but I think the songs and story are better in Sesame Street Magical Halloween Adventure. This didn't really hold my "Elmo-freak" son's attention as well as the other Elmo specials. Get the Halloween Bonus pack with both of these DVD's is a better bet.



5. My son hasn't shown any interest in watching this video. He is 3 years old, and this video just doesn't keep his attention.

1. I bought this for my 3 year old daughter. She absolutely LOVES it. I don't mind listening to it often--the songs aren't annoying. We played this CD during her birthday party and all the kids loved it.



2. I bought the CD as my one year old had fallen in love with the "Hot Dog" song at the conclusion of each Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode. Needless to say our one year old is delighted with our purchase!



3. well as a parent i don't like it obviously... there is nothing wrong with it.. just boring.. but my daughter gets a kick out of the cd and she's only 2..



4. I bought this as a gift for my little grandson and he enjoys it very much.



5. I have a 2 yr old and 4 yr old who really enjoy the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse tv show. They especially love the music, before buying this I was concerned that some of the songs might not sound the same as on the show. We opened it and it has all of the same songs. My 2 yr old especially likes it, it's great for car rides, etc.

1. Olivia is one. She can watch this very fun, active and musical program over and again. Hi-5 is an award winning troupe which, I believe, no longer performs. Even the wife and I enjoy the video.



2. I bought Hi-5 Animal adventure for my grandson, who lives with me, just before he turned two years old. He's enthralled with it.
   
   The performers dress in very creative, unique outfits that resemble various animals. Then they act like the animals while performing dances & songs. And as if that wasn't enough, they also pass along educational information about the animals at the same time.
   
   It's a great deal of fun for my grandson to watch this DVD and he requests it almost every day. I highly recommend it.



3. Hi-5 is a great DVD for kids. My 19 month old daughter cannot get enough. They are very educational and get the kids up and moving!!!



4. My 3 year old is a big fan of Hi 5 and loves this DVD, it is all about animals and music is great! If your kid likes Hi-5 he will surely love this one.



5. My kids love this video. They sing and dance. It is one of the few that keeps the peace with both of them. I have a 6 year old and a 3 year old. I would order another Hi-5 DVD again.

1. My children spent hours listening, singing and doing the actions to this CD. Great choice as a motivator for kids to learn the songs. Catchy tunes and fun too ..even adaults will find the CD fun too..
   I recommend this CD..



2. I am so happy with this product. Action Bible Songs One day I was trying to find songs that I could teach to my daughter that had motions and I stumbled upon this one. The moment I started playing the songs, I was completely surprised when my daughter (almost 2), started singing with them! This happens to be the cd they use at her Sunday School Class, or Children's Ministry. She lights up every time we play the cd and sing along! It's wonderful to have the same thing from church to play at home...and for a great price!



3. I gave these CDs to our moms groups and they love it.
   The music is fun and the preschoolers learn songs from the bible.



4. This is a really nice, positive, energetic CD. When my 9 month old get's cranky in the car I pop this CD in and it appears to calm him. My 4 year old nephew loves to sing along. Great buy for the money!



5. My Grandchildren love this CD we listen to it most of the time in the car. They know all the words and each have their favorite songs.
