1. My two year old can't get enough! He likes how lyrical and catchy it is, though, more than the fact that Barney is in it. I would recommend it to toddlers who like Dr Seuss. As an adult, I have the songs stuck in my head ALL day.



2. This is one of the best Barney video's I have seen.
   It does a wonderful job exposing your child to the
   classic Mother Goose rhymes. My kids are 18 months
   and 4 years old...they both Love it!



3. My 2 yr old twin granddaughters LOVE this dvd. They dance and sing every time I put it on. Everytime they come over they grab it first! Although Barney gets on my nerves I would highly suggest this!



4. This product is good, but the delivery was horrible. I received the product and the DVD was bouncing around in the box. I don't appreciate this kind of delivery.



5. This DVD is a total delight. Though snappy and upbeat, it actually depicts a child having a problem, and solving that problem through empathic adult guidance and the support of her peers. I say "actually" because the other popular Barney DVD about playing school depicts a near-perfect world in which everyone is unceasingly happy except, for a brief moment, Baby Bop. In addition to the original Barney music, which, in this production, is particularly good, the DVD contains scores of Mother Goose rhymes, usually put to music and adorably acted out i.e Mary Had A Little Lamb. Also, the woman who plays Mother Goose is superb: I just wish they'd put her name on the DVD box! The bottom line is that this is a great DVD for young children esp. those interested in/attracted to rhyming. Our two year old sat through the entire DVD: a first for him, as he usually tires after 15 or 20 minutes at the most.

1. My kids love this CD. All the songs are so catchy they get stuck in your head, which is not really a bad thing. Highly recommend this CD to anyone.



2. My son absolutley loves the Backyardigans and this CD is the best one we've tried yet. I would definately recommend this to anyone with toddlers, preschoolers.

4. This show was so awesome, it showed real looking people, not just the beautiful people, doing the things that every kid wanted to do. Awesome background music and some of the best t.v. I've ever seen to this day. If you ever watched this show you know how good it is and this collection contains some of the best episodes of the whole show (if you ask me they were all equally as good).
   
   This is a show for the whole family both the kids and adults, you never have to worry about it containing things that are too racey and it never gets boring, repetitive, and annoying like most childrens shows. Do yourself a favor and pick up this awesomely hysterical show on DVD.



5. I love that Nickelodeon has released seasons 1 & 2 of "Pete and Pete." Now I just wish they'd release season 3! These DVDs are great and every few months I bring them out and watch all the episodes.

1. the tape was in good condition and it is so loved by everyone of my grandchildren ...all ages....even me. It has been played numerous times and still going strong.



2. a favorite for keeping the children entertained. Old favorites bring back a lot of memories to share with new generation of children



3. My Granddaughters (twins) are 19 months old and love this movieWee Sing:Grandpa's Magical Toys. The kids in my preschool class loved it too. It is a great movie for kids.



4. Very fun Children's DVD with lots of songs from year's past (many I recall from my own childhood). It is a joy to listen to and watch for any age children. And parents, you'll probably be singing along with many of the songs. It is simple, yet creative. Reminds me a little of the old show "Patches & Pockets" where the toys come to life (but not quite so silly). My 3 1/2 year old just loves it and it captures the attention of my 9 month old. She watches intensely & bounces (her version of dancing) to the songs.



5. tastes are different, but I don't like this video. Not profeccional and cheap and not interested.

1. We had seen Laurie on TV but only knew a few songs so I took a chance on the whole CD. My daughter (age 3) absolutely loves it and wants to listen to it all the time. The whole album is fun.



2. This is (and I'm speaking honestly here) one of the very few singalong CDs for your kids that won't make you want to tear your hair out when you're listening to it for the 100th time on the way to the grocery store with the kids. The songs are short and catchy, but they don't grate on your in the same way that others do, probably because Laurie doesn't sing with a voice that caters strictly to 2 year old sensibilities. Yet, the songs have that blissfully calming effect on the kids too. I'm not quite sure how she does it.
   
   Buzz Buzz is my son's favorite. I would highly, highly recommend it to any parent looking for a good set of songs for the car.



3. We first found Laurie on Jacks Big Music Show and now we have all of the Laurie Berkner music to date. My daughter and I just love her music. This CD has some great songs on it. My daughter lives Moster Boogie, Pig on Her Head, Ice Cream Cone, The Cookie Bakers, the Valley of Vegetables, and more, and I love Clean it Up! I love how Laurie teaches children through her music and how her music is catchy. I don't mind listening to her CD's over and over.



4. This not one of my son's favorite (or mine). We have a few Raffy CD's and some of the Children's Favorites by Disney that my son just lights up when we listen to. Sadly this is not one of them.



5. My 2 year old son loves this CD. We sing along in the car all the time.
   Laurie Berkner is a talent! And as a mom who doesn't tolerate most children's music very well, I was very surprised by how much fun and how great Laurie is! Buzz Buzz!

1. My son's face lights up when I play this CD in the car. I like the variety of songs and children's voices. I don't particularly like the children's CDs with adult voices because I think it sounds cheesy (unless its Julie Andrews- only exception). Needless to say, I am really glad I found this one.



2. I got this CD for my daughter on her 1st birthday. She loves it. Although some songs were repeat from her other CD, it has different lyrics and helps me combine all the different versus when I sing back the song to my daughter. She listens to it daily on her way to day care and enjoys it everytime. I like the fact that all the songs are sung by kids.



3. I looked a long time for a children's CD that had actual kids' voices, but was understandable and inexpensive. I have a almost 5 year old, 2 1/2 year old and a 7 month old. I mainly bought it for my 2 1/2 year old girl because she loves to sing. She obviously loves it and has fun trying to sing with all of the songs. What was surprising was that my almost 5 year old enjoyed it too. He has Aspergers (a form of autism) and often gets upset when I put new music on. I even found him singing along with a few songs. Quite a miracle for him! The most surprising thing though was that I enjoyed it too and found myself singing along. The songs brought back a lot of great memories when I was a kid and I even learned a few new songs. This is definitely a cheap way to keep your kids entertained without the TV. It was definitely worth the few dollars I paid for it.



4. This CD has most of the typical toddler favorite songs so my 2 yo enjoys it. The price was right- and it makes her happy- but don't expect spectacular vocals- some of the kids are too young to sing in tune LOL. I don't really see the point of the second set of tracks though....



5. My daughter is obsessed with this CD. It's so nice to hear a children's CD where the kids can actually sing and it's not irritating to listen to. We can't go anywhere in the car without a Cedarmont Kids CD. The song choices are great, and it's a wonderful change from CDs where either the kids simply yell/sing or adults pretend to sing like kids. Thank you!

1. i bought this dvd even after i read the horrible reviews on amazon but after watching it with my 2 young children, i realize it's not all bad. yes the production isn't as high tech as the new releases, but it is nice to see the guys starting out.(i swear Anthony is wearing a greenish shirt. Why did they decide on a blue wiggle and not stick with the green?) Also the two different Captain Feathersword(one being Anthony the other his brother) were no where near as good as Paul(the guy you all know and love as the captain) but it was nice to see how even that character has evolved! Not all that bad dvd and the music still sounds the same!



2. This item indicated that it included 3 discs, Wiggle Time/Dance Party/Hoop dee doo, but it really only included 1 disc, dance party. I paid $21.99 plus shipping for 1 very old dvd! Not happy!



3. I ordered this product and recieved only The Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I called up customer service and told them that I recieved only one of the videos. They were very nice and said that they would send me a replacement order at no charge. When I recieved the second package in the mail it too was just the Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I noticed that the label on the back was incorrect which is why I kept recieving the wrong DVD. I told this to customer service hoping that we could get this issue resolved. On my third shipment I again recieved only The Wiggles Dance Party DVD. I give up! My sons love the Wiggles and it's just disappointing that they couldn't take the time to fix this for me.



4. I have to disagree with the people who dislike this video for its low production values--that's precisely why we like it. The songs are great -- all the classics are here. Also, the skits are few and relatively short. (Our two-year-olds get bored during the skits and long conversation-pieces.) There aren't a huge number of distracting colors and lights on the stage; just tons of good singing and dancing. We love this video, along with "Wiggle Time", which is also a relatively early pre-Disney production of theirs.



5. Yes, the production quality is awful; Anthony's hair looks like he doesn't own a mirror; and in half the scenes Anthony has on a short sleeve shirt/half long sleeved. However, it is still my favorite.
   
   Dance Party was our family's first introduction to the Wiggles in 2003. My son (now 5 1/2) had a HUGE Wiggles obsession right as they first started gaining popularity in the US.
   
   The songs were silly and fun, whereas many of the later ones seem like they ran out of ideas and yet still felt compelled to keep writing songs, no matter how stupid they are. Maybe I only feel this way because these are the Wiggles songs that I knew first, but all of the subsequent Wiggles videos we have (close to 10!) just don't measure up.
   
   Perhaps it is because I watched it a million times before they even HAD a "real" big red car, but there is something appealing about 4 guys and their Cardboard props that is more original and refreshing than the over commercialized, over-done videos that followed.

2. Barney's Halloween is our favorite fall movie. It has songs about lots of fun fall things like pumpkins, apples etc. More than worth the $10 it costs.

4. Even for those parents, who are not Barney fans, this DVD is a good one. The songs are cute & our two year old son manages to be able to sing along with some of them. The decorations that they make (spiders from hand prints, ghosts from foot prints) will give you some ideas of ways to entertain your children around Halloween. The costumes are good - certainly not too scary for small children. Overall, our son gives it two thumbs up and requests this DVD by name (even after Halloween)!

1. Overall, not a BAD DVD for toddlers but alot of SLOW action that loses the interest of young children. Quality of the movie filming is mediocre. Truthfully, not a lot out there to choose from, so this qualifies as the lesser evil.



2. My 2 year old absolutely loves this video. He asks to watch it repeatedly each day and he'll sit completely captivated when it's on. I'm personally tired of hearing it play over and over again. I'm hoping to find him a similar DVD to give us a little variety but I can't imagine that anything else will compare.



3. My two-year-old son remains captivated by this DVD and asks to watch it daily. I think it's a little corny with the truck's names and voices, but I'm not exactly the target audience. I think kiddos who are used to television programming (Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network) are more likely to find this boring. I love that this is live-action and somewhat informative. I've learned a thing or two about diggers and dozers in the process. Now if I could just get that interminable background song out of my head...



4. My two year old grandson loves this DVD. He's into DIRT and any large tractors and dump trucks. The crane segment is boring for him. But otherwise he will watch this DVD several times a day if we'd let him.



5. My 3 year old son is a little bored with this video. He loves Scooby Doo, Super Why and The Backyardigans, but this won't keep his attention.

1. Fun music for adult & child. Which is fortunate, considering how often I must listen to it!



2. What a wonderful CD. Such up-beat fun music that our 3 year old son loves to sing along with. Even mom and dad enjoy the fun melodies.



3. We bought this cd 4 years ago and have gotten so much use out of it. Our son is now 7 and daughter is 3.5 and they still love it. Make sure to buy several of Laurie's cds so that you don't drive yourself crazy listening to the same one over and over and over again. lol



4. My daughter and I both love Laurie Berkner. We discovered her music on Jacks Big Music show and now have all of her albums to date. On this album, some of my daughter's favorites are Victor Vito, Moon Moon Moon, The Goldfish, Fruit Salad Salsa, Googleheads and Goodnight. I love that Laurie teaches children so much in her music and her songs don't get annoying when listening to the CDs in the car. Victor Vito is a great CD to add to your children's music collection.
