5 comments about The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (Widescreen Edition).
- If you are a big Spongebob fan, you'll love this! Spongebob desperately wants to be the new manager at The Krusty Krab 2. After Mr. Krabs gives the job to Squidward, Spongebob is very depressed and goes to the Goofy Goober to have ice cream with his best friend, Patrick. The next day, King Neptune's crown has been stolen by Plankton and the evidence points to Mr. Krabs. Although Spongebob is still pissed at Mr. Krabs, he wants to help find the crown before King Neptune will execute Krabs. Spongebob and Patrick head to Shell City to find the crown. (I love when Spongebon jams down onb a guitar toward the end!) Since they are a little dim-witted, they get into a lot of misadventures along the way. Will Spongebob and Patrick get the crown, save the town, and Mr. Krabs? If you love Spongebob, you'll love THE SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS MOVIE!!!
- I loved this movie from the time I first saw it. As soon as I saw the title I thought"I'd better get this on DVD". Thre WERE a few parts I didn't get (and still don't) And parts I didn't get then figured out but didn't think was funny and some I didn't get but figured out and thought it was really funny. I've watched this over one skillion. times. Adults, teenagers, and children will love the movie of a very spongey loveable guy and his friends
- My two year old and I watch this movie nearly every day. We love to sing along, get up and dance and even fall asleep to this movie. Not so educational, but great uplifting overtones.
- GREAT MOVIE (!) THAT I RECOMMEND TO ANY SPONGEBOB FAN (JUNKIES, CASUAL FANS, HATERS, ETC.). I'M NOT GOING TO COMPARE THIS TO THE SERIES BECAUSE THEY'RE BOTH REALLY GOOD, AND BOTH DESERVE TO BE BOUGHT!
BUY THIS (!) AND SEASONS 1, 2, 3, 4 VOL.1, 4 VOL.2 AND SPONGEBOB SEASON 5, VOLUME 1 TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Ask almost any kid (or more than a few college students) who lives in a pineapple under the sea, and the answer will be the same--SpongeBob Squarepants, the titular hero of this wild adventure through the ocean depths. Facing the dangers of Plankton, King Neptune, bikers, hitmen, cyclops, and Hasselhoff, Spongebob and his BFF Patrick must tread all these dangers to save the future of Bikini Bottom and the Krusty Krab.
The film's brightest moments are its most bizarre, like Patrick and Spongebob's bubble dance in a tough guy bar bathroom, the duo's musical montage through a dark ravine filled with all sorts hideous monsters, and their faceoff against a hitman onboard the SS Hasselhoff. At times the gags are fast and furious, but at times one is left feeling that they were stretching a few scenes out to justify the cost of making them.
The animation and art throughout the film are greatly improved while still maintaining the style and feel from the television series, a difficult feat to achieve. The new backgrounds and character designs are gorgeous, and if there was 3d done on the project, it didn't show.
The new characters are memorable, but their line reads don't have the same magic that the regular cast has. Neptune's daughter, voiced by Scarlett Johansson, feels flat and doesn't seem to really interact with the primary cast until the film nears its end. However, these new characters come at a cost. As is often the case with animated films, the secondary characters are largely MIA throughout the film. Fans of Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, or even Squidward will largely be disappointed.
The ending descends into the depths of the bizarre. What started as a beautiful buddy adventure pic falls into the utterly outlandish, including the obligatory Spongebob rock sequence and more than a few disturbing (but G-rated) up close shots of David Hasselhoff. The theme of the film, that kids are important, is repeated more and more as the film nears its end. While a bit over the top, it's a positive message for kids and helps to move the plot forward.
The video on the DVD, presented in the original widescreen format, is clean and the sound is acceptable. There are a few featurettes on the disc, but nothing that spectacular or memorable. While fans might pine for a more full-featured special edition, the disc has comparable special features as though available on the TV series discs.
Despite the film's shortcomings, it was still a fast and enjoyable 90 minute ride. Fans of the series will love it, and those with children will find the film surprisingly enjoyable. It stands admirably well as a companion to the original two or three seasons of the series.

5 comments about Barney: Barney Songs.
- My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and loves this video. She sings along to the songs and moves her hands. It is a "must have" for any Barney fan.
- The publish date may be recent, but this is actually an old mash-up of mid 90's shows. My son likes them, but I find them very dated, and I wanted something newer!

5 comments about Gaiam Kids: Yogakids Fun Collection.
- My 4 year old daughter loves it. When Mommy does her yoga she can do some of the exercises, too. Many times she just gets it out and does a section on her own. She is so flexible, I wish I had this when I was a child. Very simple to follow, and fun for the parent to do together.
- My son loves this DVD set! When it is too hot and humid to go outside he pops it in and does Silly to Calm to get his wiggles out. I don't even have to remind him he has it, he does it all by himself. My only complaint is that one of the DVDs is slightly off, the intro is scrambled, but it doesn't affect the work-out part of the video so no big deal. I would definitely recommend this set to anyone with young children.
- The video incorporates different kinds of postures in a fun way. However, I think a 40 min non-stop sessions is too long to hold any 3-5 year old's interest. Instead, if different routines, each at the most 10 min. long had been presented it would have been better. A parent could guide the child do those, or even accompany the child doing them. And by having different routines there would also have been more variety for the child.
My three year old grand son soon lost interest and moved away to play with some other toys.
- I bought this for my little home daycare and have found it to be the most popular video in my collection to them. The two-year-olds especially ask for it all the time. It's a great way to keep them active when it's too hot to go outside.
- I got this for my kids and they LOVE it. They are 5 and 3 years old. I was looking for a way we could spend Quiet time. I am a yoga junkie myself. This is great, because they are quiet and getting exercise. They love doing this together so I bought the other 2 yoga kids DVD's as well. We rotate all 3 of the DVD's and do 2 a night before bed! They talk about the poses during the day and I have seen them get better each time they practice. Get these for your kids for sure. I also bought them kid yoga mats which makes it easier (and more fun!). This would be a great gift for a toddler with the yoga mat.

5 comments about Barney: Let's Go To the Farm.
- I got this DVD for my son when he was 18 months old, and he didn't care for it. I played it for him a couple of months ago, and now he can't get enough of it. He loves Barney and his friends, and the scenes at the farm are incredibly entertaining for him. I'm glad the DVD features several shots of live animals with fun songs to go along with them. He watches it almost every day, and when it finishes, he turns to me and asks for "more."
- Good for baby so that's all that matters. Enough said on how I feel about it.
- I have a 20 month old and she loves this movie. She can't wait to watch it.
- I got this for my daughter when she was 15 months. She absolutely loves it and dances the whole time, names the animals and loves the songs.
It is well-paced. She does not have many videos as I am selective with what I buy and let her watch, but I definitely recommend this one.
- i bought it for my 18 month old boy and he love barney a lot
he got many others barney dvd and he likes them all
he is not into tv but some how barney enterteins him...alot

2 comments about WordWorld: Sheep's A Star.
- We love WordWorld in our house- great quality, and my kids learn their letters- what more could you want?
As for the reviewer that doesn't like the Hopla clip- give it a chance. Yes, Hopla is a little different, but my kids really ended up liking it. They really get into talking to the TV and guessing the outcome of the games and different situations.
- WordWorld is great, and the DVDs for my two-year-old are awesome. She says "Woof" when she wants to watch this DVD because Dog is so cute, and she spells along with the animated Build-A-Word sequences. The content is top-notch!
What I have a problem with is the "Hopla" trailers that run automatically at the end of the WordWorld disks. It's pretty sneaky to piggy back another series for toddlers at the end of a series this good. It's just an unwelcome commercial, which I shouldn't have to deal with since I *bought* the DVD. I definitely DO NOT want my daughter to watch the inane Hopla series and would never buy it. Unfortunately, the jingle is permanently stuck in my head after hearing the first few seconds three or four times in the background before I could stop the DVD.

5 comments about Hannah Montana: Karaoke From the Hit TV Show.
- My 8-year-old daughter was not only disappointed but considered the voice really weird. It's not remotely close to Miley Cyrus, so she asked me to stop playing it. She didn't think her friends would be interested in singing to it either.
- This is a good Hannah Montana karaoke CD. It is not the original songs but pretty close for your fans who want to be their own Hannah on the mic.
- Background vocals didn't sound quite the same as on original CD. But my dauther loved it.
- My daughter wanted to listen to it right away but, when she found out it did not have Hannah Montana singing, she was a little upset, since she paid for it. She also thought there was going to be Hannah Montana 2 songs on the CD, but overall she was happy with this purchase.
- When buying a karaoke CD, I expect the same music with maybe some background singing. Unfortunately, this karaoke CD has someone else singing lead vocals in the background and not quite the exact music as the original. In some of the songs the lead vocals is sung by a male! I would not have purchased this if I had heard it first.

5 comments about Baby Einstein: Lullaby Classics, Vol. 2.
- It has different classical music composers and music selections. If you bought the Baby Bach, Bay Mozart #1 and #2, there will be some repeats. I still enjoy the music selections of the other composers.
- This is great CD. We love Vol. 1 but it was getting a little over played so we bought Vol. 2. It's THE best thing for a car ride. Especially with a fussy baby who hates cars.
- My son had a rough time giving up his musical mobile. He needed the music to help him calm down as he was falling asleep.
In a moment of desperation, I purchased both this CD and volume 1 of the Lullaby Classics.
When I played the CD I was pleasantly surprised, that the music on the CD was very calming. I also know most of the songs which made it more enjoyable. I even enjoy hearing it on the baby monitor when my son was trying to fall asleep.
- This is a very nice cd to have home, it's the best way of introducing music to your baby. Amazing composers, great selection and the instruments used, made it easy for "little ears". It's a calming, sweet way of putting your baby to bed. Everytime I have time I turn it on and give a full body massage in my daughter... we both love it.
- These are so good for the young kids in your family!!! I love all their products

5 comments about Disney's Sing-Along Songs - Happy Haunting.
- A little scary for younger kids but still a lot of fun and entertaining for the whole family.
- My two and 3 year olds used to be slightly afraid of the scary trees and wicked witch in this DVD, but now they totally love both! They'll watch this video all year long! It's more like one continuous story than most of the other singalongs I've seen. It takes place in the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland---there's a Halloween party there. The songs are very catchy and fun for all to sing!
- Contrary to some of the negative reviews, we found this video very entertaining. Give Disney a break! There are some slighlty spooky moments to keep the little ones engaged, and the simple acting and familiar songs are perfect for kids under eight.
- The only thing that matters about this video is that the intended audience love it. My three-year-old grandson watches it again and again. He dances to it, sings, bounces around. He thinks it's wonderful.
- My boys (3 & 6) love this video & asked for it to be played over & over again. I was bored, but I bought it for them, not me, so I guess that's ok. Not too scary for little guys.

5 comments about 100 Singalong Songs for Kids.
- This album brings good memories. I lived in the US for sometime and learned to love these songs as if they were part of my own folk tradition. Now that I became a dad myself, I bought this record for my baby daughter but also for my self. The voices are sweet and always in tune and the orchestrations are plain but very effective. It's a good choice.
- This CD is wonderful for kids! My daughter loves it, and sings and dances with it all the time!
- Over all the CD's are ok, I didn't realize that a lot of the songs are religious songs, but that is my fault because I didn't look at the song names before buying it.
- I love this cd and my baby sister loves the baby one. I will give it five stars.
- The Singalong Songs for Kids CD's are ideal for infants and toddlers. I like to put the CD's in my car, while my 2 year old listens. It calms him down, and improves his vocabulary. I bought the videos for my older son 6 years ago. The songs and video are exactly the same.

5 comments about The Adventures of Pete & Pete - Season 1.
- this show is just as good as i remember! a perfect example of what being a kid in the 90's was like.
- Thank you so much! I loved this show when I was younger and now that I have a copy of the first season, life is a little bit more enjoyable, haha. Great condition.
- I am happy again thanks to Pete and Pete. I loved this show. my wife and I practically met watching this show. You can say Pete and Pete brought us together and showed us they way of true love.IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TRUE LOVE SEARCH NO FURTHER FOR YOU HAVE FOUND IT. Good wholesome entertainment.
- This show was so awesome, it showed real looking people, not just the beautiful people, doing the things that every kid wanted to do. Awesome background music and some of the best t.v. I've ever seen to this day. If you ever watched this show you know how good it is and this collection contains some of the best episodes of the whole show (if you ask me they were all equally as good).
This is a show for the whole family both the kids and adults, you never have to worry about it containing things that are too racey and it never gets boring, repetitive, and annoying like most childrens shows. Do yourself a favor and pick up this awesomely hysterical show on DVD.
- I love that Nickelodeon has released seasons 1 & 2 of "Pete and Pete." Now I just wish they'd release season 3! These DVDs are great and every few months I bring them out and watch all the episodes.
