5 comments about Bear in the Big Blue House: Everybody's Special.
- This video is really good because it teaches kids that everyone is special even if you are a bat, in the second episode , they find a bat in the attic of the big blue house and everyone is scared of it , but bear says that everyone is different and not to be scared. I liked this one alot, my son loves bear, he has almost all of his videos.
- Bear does it again teaching children while entertaining at the same time. This is a good way to keep you child busy while they learn. Bear teaches values and helpful information such as seasons, shapes, colors, potty training, brushing teeth, bathing, sharing, friendship, and alot more.
-
I gave this dvd to my nephew and he kissed me for it. He's three yrs old and he loves Bear. He has alot of Bear dvd's, but he didn't have this one. He smiled and wouldn't let go of the case the dvd comes in.
- Another winner in my book and my 3 yr old sons opinion.
- When I saw the three episodes of "Bear..." on this DVD I was very impressed. I have to say it turned the series into my favorite program to share with my son.
The disc starts with an episode dealing with Opposites, and it shows how important it is for opposites to exist, in order to completement us where we fall short (Bear's chat with Tutter in the kitchen when the mouse is struggling to reach a glass, and then Bear has a hard time reaching a spoon that he dropped under the fridge are a great example of this).
The second episode showcases Benny "the bat", a new fella to most of the animals in the Big Blue House, which gives most of them the creeps. As Bear and Treelo introduce them to the winged friend, they begin to realize that as different as he looks, they all share something in common with him.
Last, the closing episode emphasizes charity as a value, as the entire crowd in the house pulls together to organize a yardsale to benefit the muskrat's who lost their homes. Intertwined with some fun moments with Tutter's undecided about letting go some of his junk, this episode takes the whole concept home, leaving behind a trail of great benefit for your child to learn from.
After this DVD, I declare myself a fan of Bear! "Welcome to the Blue House!"

5 comments about Hercules (A Walt Disney Masterpiece).
- This movie is entertaining and has a wonderful moral lesson in the end. I bought it for my toddlers, and although it contains stimulating animation, they did not enjoy all the battles Hercules had to endure. It is a movie based on the mythical hero, but completely incorrect from an historic point of view. Maybe my kiddos will like it a bit more in a couple of years.
- Though this movie is great for an hour and forty five minutes of entertainment its accuracy is something from another planet. If your looking to educate your children about the gods this isn't the right movie. However, if you want a little play-off on the gods and goddesses this is perfect. Its packed with humor and adventure, perfect for any ages. If you want some fun stories to read to your child I would recomend the D'AULAIRES book of greek myths.
From a middle school student in MA.
- I never recieved this movie...and its been a mounth and two ays since my purchase had been made. I hope amozon banns the seller from selling items because all the reviews this person recieved wer awful.
- I received the movie at the time indicated it would be sent and it was in great condition. Thank you.
- The animation is very good & detailed. The story has a lot of action. It is a good hero movie with a great romance. There is lot of comedy in it. The voices of some of the characters are well known so it is great to listen to them. It is quite easy to watch many times. My boys have watched it so many times that they can quote whole scenes by heart. The joy my boys have gotten from watching it has made it a worth while purchase.

5 comments about Jojo's Circus: Songs from Under the Big Top!.
- This CD contains some of the most entertaining songs from the show and is very enjoyable even for a toddler parent.
- My daughter loves to listen to all of her favorite songs from Jo Jo's Circus. This is a great CD!
- My son loves this CD and loves to have it on when he jumps on the bed as he loves the "Jump for Joy" song. If you want a CD that is full of happy and bright tracks go for this!
- My daughter loves the cd!! Some of the songs are short. I was expecting extended versions but my daughter doesn't mind because she is two and her attention span is short too.
Overall the cd is great, just like the cartoon! The songs make my daugther want to dance and jump around.
- We bought this CD for our 18month old daughter who is a huge JoJo fan. The songs are very upbeat and cheery. Nice and short too, keeps young one's attention. Great deal and a ton of songs to choose from. Great way to spend time with your little one. JoJo is a big hit at our house.

3 comments about Disney's Karaoke Series: Cheetah Girls 2.
- I may have missed this in the description, but it doesn't have all the songs...my niece was a little disappointed.
- My little girl still liked it but was dissappointed about the cheetahs not on it.
- My 8 year old daughter was very dissappointed after receiving this CD for Christmas. It is advertised as the Cheetah Girls 2 - however these vocals are not sung by the original Cheetah Girls who are in the movie. The songs just don't sound the same. It's very dissappointing that Disney doesn't tell you this on the CD.

3 comments about Disney's Dance-Along.
- The songs are actually good songs - but they seem to be re-recorded. They are not the original songs. The sound quality of the CD is poor - treble seems to be too high and not enough base. I played this on a CD player that has great sound quality with my other CDs, but not with this one.
I am very disappointed in this CD. The sound quality is so awful, we listened to it once, and have never listened to it again. I would not recommend this CD.
- I put this on when a friend was here and we were dancing and having a great time with each song that came up. I'm 56 and I felt like a kid again. There's the twist, the bunny hop, a great polka, the jitterbug and more. Personally, I was pleased that the songs were NOT sung by Disney characters....although the cover to the CD alludes to that. There are just a few quacks from Donald Duck and a tiny bit from Goofy and Mickey, just enough to flavor it. I can see it being fun for all ages. I use many songs with Dancing Hands hand taps, a fun percussion instrument that sounds like tap dancing.
- I am a dance teacher, currently teaching nursery dance (2-1/2 to 3 year olds) and beginner tap and jazz (3 to 5 year olds). This CD is excellent for use in the classroom. The nursery class especially loves to do The Bunny Hop and the Chicken Dance! The older kids really enjoy YMCA, The Swim and Shout! The Twist is popular in all classes. What a great teaching aid!
My 7 year old daughter enjoys doing all of the dances too and we used the music at her birthday party. The kids had a ball. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this CD to anyone.

4 comments about Disney's Princess Christmas Album.
- I consider myself a pretty hardcore Disney fan. As an adult with no children I usually buy this sort of thing for myself and I enjoy it tremendously.
I'll be honest here, while I do purchase almost all of the music I own, I will sample music via "shared" MP3s online from time to time. Especially with Disney now a days, the Princess franchise hits all kinds of highs and lows. There is no guarantee anymore that Disney automatically equals quality. I found a webpage online that enabled me to sample the first 8 tracks of this album in their entirety. I dodged a bullet here. Obviously some of the original princess voices actors are no longer living, and that's not to beheld against this album. In past sequel films they've made some decent replacement choices. However I didn't think they did a good job here.
Snow White's singing is horribly grating and Cinderella's isn't much better. In many songs they try and include all the background characters, like the 7 dwarfs and Cinderella's mice but they aren't the original voices either. I don't see why they chose to put in sub-par replacements of secondary characters when they didn't really have to. You might not notice Snow White isn't the original, and that won't detract from the album, but you're going to notice the 7 dwarfs are way off the mark once they join in. Etc. This album would have been MUCH better if they had just gone with a more classical one character approach, rather then try and cram handfuls of what is unnecessary poor voice work into each song.
They couldn't even get some of the living princess voice actors to sign on which I feel says something about the product. Paige O'Hara, who was the voice of Belle in the original Disney film, is ~not~ on this album. She was replaced by Susan Egan who played the original Belle on Broadway. Egan does have an excellent voice and makes an excellent Belle anyway, but she is not the original. (Coincidentally Susan Egan was the voice of "Meg" in Disney's original animated film Hercules and it may further confuse the kiddies about which princess is actually singing in my opinion)
A few tracks with Broadway's "Belle" and "Pocahontas" are really quite good by themselves, but I'm not willing to pay $10 for ~a few tracks~. From my point of view not many adult Disney fans will find this up to par, and not many parents are going to want to be subjected to Snow White's voice via the listening habits of a toddler who might think this is just great and listen to it over and over.
As far as the celebrities....I seriously doubt a toddler knows or cares who Wayne Brady & Jim Brick man are.
I think you're better off mixing Disney movies and old Christmas favorites like The Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, or the Grins soundtrack if you're in a Disney/Christmas mood. Or hey, ...break out Mickey's Christmas carol. If you're hell bent on dipping into the Princess franchise pick up one of those "Greatest Hits" Cds Disney has which has a mix of all the popular princess songs from the original films. If you're feeling really frisky many of the voice actors of the contemporary princesses have made their own non-Disney solo albums covering all sorts of kid friendly songs.
- We just got our copy of this yesterday, and I bet we have already played it 20 times at least! We bought it for our 2 year old daughter, who is obsessed with the princesses, but we have all five enjoyed this cd. The songs are all good, and a good mix of older songs and newer, princess songs.
Our little girl has been thrilled with this album, and since this is the first Christmas she has really been old enough to notice music, I am so glad we bought this. Our other two children, ages 10 and 5, also enjoy it.
My favorite selection from the cd is Silver and Gold, but they are all good. Ariel's Christmas Island is cute, and since we are used to hearing this on Jimmy Buffet's Christmas Island cd, it was fun to hear Ariel sing it.
If your little girl enjoys the princesses, this will be great to add to your collection.
- I bought this album and listened to it just a day or two ago, a long time before Christmas of course. I was so happy and excited, because Christmas is a very important festival to me, and one of my favourites. This album with lyrics such as snow, mistletoe and trees and so on made me felt as if Christmas is coming!
There were many traditional and new songs for Christmas. It made me associate this album with the soundtrack of "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas". One of the reasons why I love this album so much is that it featured many my favourite vocals, such as Jodi Benson's, Paige O'Hara's and Lea Salonga's. Jodi Benson's voice will always be the most beautiful in my opinion.
I think the best song in this album was "Christmas is coming". I love songs which all the princesses sang together, just like "If you can dream". This song made me felt a little cold, but I could feel the happiness Christmas brings. I felt it as if I see the princesses were giving presents to each other to make the world filled with happiness, warmth and magic. One of the traditional songs named "Twelve days of Christmas" was sung by all the princesses too. The princesses sang their own stories in this song, with new lyrics of course. "Christmas in the Ocean" of Ariel was very funny, because this song was featured with Sebastian. This song made me dream of a Christmas which is not so cold, just like Ariel's! I was surprise and felt a little strange that Mulan sang a song named "The holly and the ivy" in this album. There is no holidays during Christmas in China, maybe it's because that there is only a few Christians in China, although I'm a Chinese Christian. But this song was still good!
Generally speaking, I love this album very much, and it fits for young and old who love Christmas and Disney Princess.
- There are a few Christmas songs on this CD that are traditional, but are given a Disney twist. Most are original. They're not bad, and any princess fan would enjoy this. The songs are sung by the original voices, of Ariel, Belle, and Jasmine, and they have new voices for Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora, for obvious reasons. Snow White is actually better, the other two are up to par.

5 comments about Lilo & Stitch 2: Island Favorites.
- My kids and I love this CD, and we've had it for a couple years now! It's timeless with pretty, beachy feeling music. Can't miss for a drive to the beach, or a fun day soundtrack.
- The lilo and stitch soundtracks are a lot of fun for grownups and kids to listen to together. Not as good as the first but very fun.
- I did not expect all the duplicate songs from the first album. Yes, I should have read more carefully, but did not have the Island Favorites with me when I thought to look for this one. My daughter still likes it, but we were hoping for more like the first.
- This is a great CD for kids. Lots of fun and energetic songs. It sounds like a fun visit to Hawaii.
- Had a luau for my son's 5th birthday. The music was great and the kids just loved it. Made the party a hit!
