1. I work in the infant and toddler room of a daycare and we use Jim Brickman's cds for naptime music all the time. But this cd is without a doubt my favorite. It's mellow enough to play during naptime and the kids enjoy it but the adults in the room enjoy it too. And we don't go crazy from hearing another rendition of something like "5 Little Ducks Went Swimming One Day." The renditions of classic Disney songs include my favorite "Reflection," but then there's the original song "Beautiful" with Wayne Brady that is absolutely Disney like. And the formal American Idols Kimberly Locke and Josh Gracin are wonderful. In short it's a great cd for kids and adults.



2. I highly recommend this to any Disney lover. Jim Brinkman is a master...a delightful collection to have!! My family loves it and wants to hear it many times!! If you love Disney movies....you will love this!!

1. This CD was not at all what I expected or what the cover portrayed. I thought this would be a collection of fun children's songs in Spanish, maybe some well-known preschool songs translated in Spanish. Instead, these songs sound like traditional old world hispanic music that is not appealing to my kids or myself at all.



2. I bought this CD for my daughter even though we don't speak spanish and I love it! The songs are perfect for toddlers who like to dance and also beautiful at the same time. My favorite is Los Elefantes - very catchy!



3. this is good cd. there is one great song, the first one. Las canciones cambian de tono completamente, lo cual hace muy dificil relacionar las canciones con la musica. A mi hijo le encanta la adaptacion de que llueva, pero nada mas le interesa mucho.



4. Energetic variety of music from around Latin America -- fanastico. Printed lyrics included, which was helpful. I speak Spanish but couldn't catch all the words.
   
   I doubt Disney had much involvement except for buying the rights to it. This is the company whose movies tend to portray the heros with American accents while the villians have strong foreign accents. But whatever, this CD is a gem.



5. The songs on this CD are varied in style. Genre of music from all over Latin America are included. I really enjoy listening to this CD. My son who is 16 months likes the music especially the final song which is a lullaby. But there are only 12 songs on this CD - way too short and that is why I gave it only 4 stars. I think that he will enjoy this CD more as he gets a bit older. Right now he prefers the arrangement of the same songs that are on the Exitos de Cepillin CD.

5 comments about Bear In the Big Blue House: Tidy Time With Bear!.

1. My daughter LOVES Bear in the Big Blue House - and I love this one because it teaches her the importance of cleaning up and picking up.



2. My two year old daughter wants Big Blue House on 24 hours a day. She does not sit for any other TV. It is also not an irritating DVD for adults to watch. We like it too and find ourselves humming the songs.



3. This is wonderful, training toddlers to clean up after themselves is a great plan. Some is a real genius. This has wonderful music as bear usually does and is alot of fun. Bear does it again teaching children to clean up while entertaining at the same time. This is a good way to keep you child busy while they learn. Bear teaches values and helpful information such as seasons, shapes, colors, potty training, brushing teeth, bathing, sharing, friendship, and alot more.



4. My 1 yr old son has been hooked on Bear since he was 6 mo old! It's cute, not annoying like other children's videos.



5. I recently received 2 Bear in the Big Blue House dvd's and I must say, they're wonderful! My little boy is 2 and just adores Bear, Tutter, Pip/Pop, Treelo and Ojo. This dvd (Tidy Time With Bear) encourages children to clean up/tidy up. YAY! haha. Always a bonus. I must say, I have also caught myself out watching it! Its fun...the kids will love it (Parents too!)

5 comments about Disney's Karaoke Series: Disney Princess, Vol. 2.

1. My 5-year-old got this for Christmas from Santa with a Karaoke machine - and she loves it! It's one of her favorite toys...



2. Pretty good CD. It's good that it comes with the lyrics. It's great to use for the instrumentals for a wedding, but it should have the background vocals.



3. Before I have bought this CD, I had thought that this CD must be like any other Disney Princess karaoke CDs. The Disney Princess karaoke CDs I had bought before made me disappointed more or less, because the songs in them were not the original versions, and the instrumental tracks were not the original ones either. They felt not so good. I'm a Disney Princess music collector, and I couldn't decide whether I should buy this CD as soon as a friend who had got this CD lent it to me. After I have finished all the tracks in this CD, I decided to buy this CD immediately. It's really wonderful! I couldn't stop listening to it after I bought it.
   It's not like any other Disney Princess karaoke CDs, especially the instrumental tracks are better off, though some of the songs in this album are old. I think the best instrumental track in this album is the one of "If You Can Dream". This song is one of my favorite Disney Princess song, so this track is what I have been looking for for long. This track took my worry away as soon as I was doubt that this track is an original instrumental track or not. It is the original one, in the part of the chorus in this song, there is a little vocal. So when I sing along I feel excellent! And the instrumental track of "Every Girl Can Be a Princess" which was from the album "Disney Princess Tea Party" just like "If You Can Dream", is also a good one. The instrumental track of "A Whole New World" is wonderful too, the initial romantic feeling hasn't lost at all. But I was very a little disappointed that "A Whole New World" track with vocal is not the original version. So are the tracks "So This Is Love" "Once Upon A Dream" and "I Won't Say (I'm in Love)". However, if all the instrumental tracks were maken up from the initial timbre, it might give us a little terrible feeling in ears.
   Generally speaking, this is a wonderful job that Disney Records did. There are wonderful new songs and some classic songs with or without vocal. It's pretty good in my opinion, and I think your little girls will love this, the elder Disney Princess fans will love this and collect it too.



4. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas and we have been disappointed with it. I chose this one because it was the only one that was age appropriate at our local WM, but most of the songs are ones that neither she or any of her friends know and they are hard to sing along with for kids at this age.

1. MY SON SITS IN HIS CHAIR QUIETLY WATCHING THESE VIDEOS WHILE I AM BUSY CLEANING THE HOUSE.



2. The creators of these DVD's have done their homework. They really must have studied how to keep the child focused. Excellent!



3. We have the Baby Einstein Gift Pack volume 1, that includes 4 tapes - Baby Bach, Baby Newton, Baby Shakespeare and the Language Nursery. It has been a month since my 10 month old daughter started watching these. In fact, her TV time every day is pretty much just the Baby Einstein video time. She started out plainly surprised and it was not clear how she felt about them. Now she is much much more expressive...she loves them! She is actually seeing a lot of things that I teach her using a book. I think her reaction to the different moving colors, shapes and objects is very much along the lines of what effect it was intended to generate in a baby. I watch it with her every time and use it as a tool to teach her a lot of common things. Baby Newton and Baby Shakespeare are very educational. Baby Bach is a delight to watch for her and she particularly enjoys the music. However we did not quite relish the Language Nursery. For babies and kids, I think it is a little too early to hear so many confusing foreign noises, when they are actually still trying to communicate using one or may be two languages . Also, some videos overuse a few toys. There is a repetitive display of certain unappealing toys. Watching my daughter watch it every day, I am convinced that it is worth every penny. I would strongly recommend it to any parent who would like to teach and have some fun TV time with his/her baby.



4. My son absolutely loves the baby einstein videos. I'm so glad that they have come out with some wonderful toys and such for little minds to expand. They are without a doubt awesome. I recommend them to everyone. Even those of my friends that don't have babies yet!



5. Even I watch! Kids love to see moving toys, bright colors, sound effects, and hear music. Not so impressed with some of the newer ones like Doolittle, and he one with the computer graphics turns me off, but the kids like it. I also bought the Speech Therapy Home Practice Videos Series: R Words All AroundUs, S Words All Around Us, and Vocabulary All Around Us - great for speech therapy practice!

1. This is so much fun! My daughter and I have girl time singing off key to this. As a special treat a few times a year, I plan to take my karaoke machine and several of the kid favorites to my classroom for my students to enjoy. They'll know every word of this new classic!



2. I love this CD. I enjoy listening to the music that is on here. I have freaked some kids out because I bought this & listen to it. But they have catchy tunes on this CD. I am just a big kid at heart still & probably always will be. If you get this you won't be sorry for any age. I have watched both of the movies but I liked the 1st one better.

4. High School Musical. Even before the movie came out, I had a feeling I was not going to like this. Let me say first that I am an avid fan of musicals. I absolutely love Wicked, Rent, Hairspray, Mama Mia, Les Miserables. I practically live on Broadway music. Musicals is meant to mean something, to teach something, to tell a story, or at least make you laugh. High School Musical possess none of these attributes. This is a story that reflects American youth today; shallow, one-dimensional, material. High School Musical is the story of a bunch of popular, beautiful, and perfect rich kids and their selfish problems that we are suppossed to care about and sing to. Sorry, but I don't think so. This movie is promoting the fact that in order to be happy and achieve anything in the world, you must be gorgeous and talented. That is not a message that should be sent to young children. And the what-you-can-barely-call music is utterly terrible. There is nothing whatsoever good about any of it. The lyrics are akward and don't flow at all, the melodies are mediocre at the most and are easily forgotten, and the singers themselves sound so fake you can hardly stand to listen to the music. High School Musical deserves none of the hype it is receiving. It is so sad that the true musicals in our lifetime are being ignored and forgotten because of this genuinely horrible musical.



5. My friends introduced me to the movie "Highschool Musical" during senior year. I loved it! Not because of the actors or the Disney style romance. The music sold the movie for me. The songs will be loved by anyone, either young, a college student like me, or your grandparents. It's very clean and just fun to sing along to.

1. We watched this tape when I was in elementary school a couple of times. One of them was when we had field day and I refused to participate because the games that they had were stupid and for babies. I didn't tell anybody that a couple a games were for babies except for my mom and my older sister another time. The day my teacher a note home to my family about me not doing field day and I was grounded as a result.



2. Of all the Disney Sing Along Songs on video, this is my favorite. As fans of Disney Sing Along Songs on DVD will know, there is a new intro for the DVDs featuring Sebastian the crab and a new theme song. Well on the early VHS versions the theme song featured Mr Owl. Sing Along Songs: Friend Like Me was the first video to revamp the original theme song, and it does such a great job, upping the music tempo and really getting you excited for this latest offering.
   
   The showstopping Disney Sing Along Songs video hosted by Jiminy Cricket from Pinocchio starts off with the showstopper "Friend Like Me" from what was the new big animated feature Aladdin. From here we get the classic song "Best Of Friends" from The Fox & The Hound and "Something There" from Beauty & The Beast. Next we have "How Do You" from the as yet unreleased on video or DVD- Song Of The South. Following this is a new high octane version of the classic song "Friendship", sung this time by Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck. "Harmony" from the television series of The Little Mermaid featuring the beautiful voice of Jodi Benson as Ariel is next. Afterwards we're back to the classics with "Let's Get Together" from the original version of The Parent Trap and "That's What Friend's Are For" from The Jungle Book. Finally, we get to sing along with "A Whole New World" from Aladdin, as well as having the opportunity to sing Friend Like Me once more.
   
   This really is showstopping stuff. As a kid I found myself singing alone to many of the Disney Sing Along Songs videos, but this time even the family joined in. They loved it too, as I expect, you and your family will.



3. My grandma got me this video when I was only three years old. But now I gave this video away to someone who could use It. I was too old for this video. My grandma says I used to love this video.



4. We have all the "Disney's Sing Along Songs" videos but my daughters love this particular video the most. I honestly enjoy it very much myself. I also like the theme of the video, which is friendship and getting along. It is really a lot of fun to watch...and sing along.

1. My daughter loves to listen to all of her favorite songs from Jo Jo's Circus. This is a great CD!



2. My son loves this CD and loves to have it on when he jumps on the bed as he loves the "Jump for Joy" song. If you want a CD that is full of happy and bright tracks go for this!



3. My daughter loves the cd!! Some of the songs are short. I was expecting extended versions but my daughter doesn't mind because she is two and her attention span is short too.
   Overall the cd is great, just like the cartoon! The songs make my daugther want to dance and jump around.



4. We bought this CD for our 18month old daughter who is a huge JoJo fan. The songs are very upbeat and cheery. Nice and short too, keeps young one's attention. Great deal and a ton of songs to choose from. Great way to spend time with your little one. JoJo is a big hit at our house.



5. We are new to the JoJo world and really enjoy this music. Very catchy and enjoyable, even for these middle-aged parents!
