1. If your a Madonna lover you should buy this double cd immaculate collection and something to remember import,even if you`r not a Madonna fan you should buy this double cd import,you`ll get your money`s worth,31 tracks in all,to listen to,you wont be disapointed.Madonna is the Queen of Music.



2. The Immaculate Collection" has all of Madonna's great songs from the 80s. All of them from great ballads ("Crazy For You" and "Open Your Heart"), to classic Madonna songs ("Material Girl" and "Like A Virgin") are here on this album. What makes the songs so good is, although she doesn't get credit for it that much, she has a great singing voice.

   The songs on Something to Remember are classics! Unlike The Immaculate Collection, these songs are more ballads than rock. Songs like, "I'll Remember" and the title track, "Something to Remember" are some of the most beautiful songs! I like "You'll See" because I think if you are going to write a break up song it should be done in a classy manner...this song tells off whoever she was mad at in a way that she is not trashing anyone! There are some other great songs. Take for instance "Rain" and "This Used to Be My Playground".

   These two CD's are great together! Get this CD a.s.a.p!

1. I bought this box-set of 3 CDs and thought I was getting a really good deal. I got home, put it in my stereo and ealized I made a huge mistake. Even though these CDs have some good songs, when they were popular, such as Bailamos, Wild, Wild, West, and Believe by Cher, these are all sung by The Countdown Singers. I guess it does say that on the box, but it's around the logo and I didn't see it. The Countdown Singers sound nothing like the original artists and they practically change the songs. Some of the songs, I've never heard of and the rest, I had, but never as bad as this. Same yourself the money you would've spent on this, and buy the CD of your favorite artist on this set.

1. Disc 1 by Robert Armani: he knows how to mix, but I never quite dug his production style (reminds me too much of Frankie Bones), Disc 2 by Gene Hunt: his productions are mediocre and the mixing is worse (he's trying to be like those Tresor guys), Disc 3 by K. Alexi Shelby: starts off a little slow then builds up to nice party vibe, he's a decent producer and Dj (mixes House w/ a HIP-Hop cut & scratch style). I would've rated this a 1 if is wasn't for cd 3...



2. These CD's are a joke. How else can you buy 3 CD's for under $$$. I flipped through the tracks on these CD's hoping to find a decent track, and guess what....I didn't find any. It's a waste of your listening time. For true Chicago House Music Fans...Go to a club instead. I put this set far far away from my good house music CD's. Leave this CD Set in the Warehouse.

1. For some strange reason Amazon continues to advertise the Anthony Braxton Willisau concert cover, but in fact, if you purchase this you will receive Tribal Gathering. I have already purchased and returned the double CD. I'm not sure what genre of music Tribal is but it is not jazz! Be fore warned!



2. I generally don't give anything five stars but I can't give this compilation anything less. It came out in 1996, hence "Tribal Gathering 1996" and even after four years of use, it still has a place in my disc rotation. If I had to sum up this album in one word it would be *diversity*. It includes so many classics from so many styles it would be hard for anyone who appreciates dance music to dismiss the whole thing. You get three cds all with very unique styles, and a color booklet outlining the history of the Tribal Gathering celebration. From Marshall Jefferson's (Disc 1) rendition of "Samba Magic" (Basement Jaxx) to Gayle San's (Disc 2) own immortal "Tribal" you get Chicago house to proper UK techno and everything in between. On Disc 3, James Levelle (Mo Wax founder) brings us deep trance and techno in it's best form.

   While I give this album five stars, it certainly isn't for everyone. If you don't like dance or "electronica", (while you probably wouldn't be here in the first place) your not gonna get much from this album, and I don't recommend it. Furthermore if your looking for really loud pounding drum and bass or jungle, or if you want really light trance with cheerful vocals than this isn't what your looking for either. However, if you don't fit into the two categories above this album is an absolute must. Even if your a bit new to the whole "electronica" scene don't get scared off, the compilation is a good starting place and has more than enough for the open mind.

1. These are not my kind of thing, however if you are looking for four 70+ minutes of hard techno, this set is for you! Some of the synthesizer is unique with a hard industrial tech beat all the way!



2. well to sum it up, i like the way they mixed in the strings with the bass. It trips me out and that's always a BIG plus, right?Though almost all Techno Cds' sound great to me isee this as one of the good ones. (but not THE GREAT ONES)
