- Where or where has Remy gone? He whets our appetite with one brilliant album (Take a Message is my fave song on this) and disappears off the face of the earth. Well, at least he left us with a sample of his wonderful music. I can't bring myself to use the phrase "blue-eyed soul" to describe his songs. This is soul, pure and simple. Modern, yet classic, from the school of Prince and Marvin Gaye. He coulda been a contender.
- ... or in case you weren't a music consumer back then and are reading this simply out of curiosity, this piece of Canadian modern soul (or "neo soul", to use the popular term) from 2001 is definitely worth checking out while stocks last. "Blue-eyed soul" was how someone I used to know referred to it once - a reference that made me wince. Assuming the man's eyes ARE indeed blue, I really don't see what their colour (or the colour of his skin, for that matter) has to do with anything.
Clearly influenced by people like D'Angelo and Maxwell - I even hear traces of Marvin Gaye - the real phenomenon about this project is that Shand plays practically every instrument on it himself, including alto and tenor saxophones, and he plays them incredibly well. The one exception is "i met your mercy", on which Ken Gold played tenor and baritone saxophones. Shand also wrote and produced the album in its entirety and in my book, he deserves a couple of stars for that feat alone.
Luckily, the music on offer here is actually top quality. Shand's voice however - sometimes natural, sometimes falsetto - while pleasant, does seem to lack real bite. On balance though, at least musically, this album is as near flawless as it gets. Its Achilles heel, as far as I'm concerned is in its lyrics. Lacking solid lyrical hooks to hang the consciousness on, the bulk of the songs fail to make a real impression and are instantly forgettable. There are a few exceptions of course and "the way i feel", "take a message" and the burning ballad that is "i met your mercy" all stand out, as does the jazzy, semi-instrumental "the mind's eye", which is also rather cool and one of my favourite tunes on here.
I actually got the European "Special Edition" of this album and it features two bonus tracks; "mai", another instrumental that showcases Shand jamming on the organ, and a vocal track, "ripened & consumed". They don't really bring any added value to the proceedings in my opinion though, so I wouldn't advocate going out of one's way to lay hands on a copy. This version right here is just fine.
- This guy is obviously a student of the music game. I can tell knows the history of soul music. He's got a Smooth 70's vibe going on with a voice & lyrics that hit the sweet spot. The title track reminds me of a cross between Maxwell and Jamiriqui("The way i feel")...great soothing sound with a smooth energy that really helps you to get into the lyrics. At times he croons like Prince. He's comapred to Robin Thicke a lot but i really feel that the two are worlds apart in their overall sound. I love them both( i'm a big Robin Thicke fan) but like i said Remy is different in the way of a lot more of a soulful, more mature groove to his songs. His musical arrangement at times is almost Barry White-esk...he doesn't sound like B.W. but his 70's soul sound is a hook!!! Also i feel that Remy's lyrics are a lot more direct and easily attatched to your own experiences. My fav's on this CD are as follows: #2 "Burning Bridges" ...i love the lyrics! #1("The way i feel") because it's so damn smooth and of course soulful. #8 "Rocksteady" is a GROOVE! #3 "Everlasting"... It has a lot of Smokey Robinson type crooning on it with the same type of guitar you may hear on an Isley Bros. cut. Truth is i love the whole thing. This is a perfect Cd to just chill and Kick back some Chardonnay to,turn off the lights, fire up the candles, turn off the ringer and stay in tonight...Remy's got the rest!
- This CD was mellow and has a great feel too it. Every song was something you could goove to. Remy Shand was a sound that has influenced Justin Timberlake and Robin Thicke. I really like to put on all three.
I give it 4 stars because he has not made a sequel. We are waiting!!!
- I first heard about Remy Shand when his video for the song, TAKE A MESSAGE was on VH1. The music is cool and soothing, along the school of Maxwell and D'Angelo of the current singers; but also old school like Curtis Mayfield. A great album to listen to, whether you're in the car alone or chilling with friends. Let's hope to hear more of his music to come!

- Keith Washington made an excellent debut with his "Make Time For Love" LP. This became a classic album for lovers and made him an overnight star. Soothing, soul ballads like "All Night", "I'll Be There", "Lovers After All", "Closer", the classic "Kissing You" and the title track makes this the beautiful masterpiece it is. This is truly one of my all time favorite albums and I know it will not disappoint or be a let down for any R&B/Soul lovers.
- You know KW was alexander oneals main competition back in the day.
On this cd he gives alex a run for the money. This dude is just awesome and he is reflective of the true RnB music that we all love. I have my own recording studio and when i play this for most young artists who come in, they suddenly realize
'oh shoot i can't sing like that' they get kind of ashamed and self conscious.
this is a great album and a classic! get it you will love it.
- i just played this album again after owning it for so long its brilliant. i came to see if he has done any thing else since. i have all his albums i think it is about time he dropped another one. missing you ! please record again
- This cd is a good example of what romantic r&b music should sound like. Native Detroiter Keith Washington lays it down with these smooth and mellow lyrics. This one of the best recordings of the 90's. Any real fan of good old fashion r&b should have it in their archives.
- This is what I'm talking about when I mention love making music. The ladies will love this album. Songs like "Make Time For Love", "Kissing You", "Are You Still In Love With Me", "When It Comes To You", "Lovers After All", and the bedroom song, "Closer", will definitely guarantee some love making sessions......Buy this Compact Disc, and put it on repeat play for that special someone............

5 comments about New World Order.
- No other artist was more aware of the world's political and spiritual pulse than Curtis. Recorded while lying paralyzed as a quadriplegic, if not made aware of his tragic 1990 stage accident, one wouldn't believe he was suffering from any handicap when listening to his still smooth voice. Curtis was the conscience of a people; all people for the 20th century, and "New World Order" picked-up after years of silence without missing a beat. Every track is a listening gem. Curtis just had a way with expressing himself, not only when it came to delivering great messages of wisdom(We The People Who Are Darker Than Blue), a song that with this rerecording still brings tears to my eyes, but also through some of the most heartfelt love songs as well(The Girl I Find Stays On My Mind). We've lost one of the recording world's greatest poets, and "New World Order" was Mr. Mayfield's grand finale.
- I purchased this album with certain misgivings. I did not want it 2sound too retro-nostalgic, yet not wanting it to sound divorced from the creator's roots. All fears were largely unfounded. Despite one dud/naf arrangement [the girl i find stays on my mind] NWO is overall a great and engaging listen. The fresh nu-songs really work. The Superfly's unmistakably silken voice is 'right on' from the crucially cool opening cut. Ms. Martha proving once again that here's a guy with a true social conscience. Deep downhome vibe of 'No one knows about a good thing' is delectable as honey. 'Here but I'm Gone' has 2be my fave cut. It's gotta be the DEEP song of '95 for me.'The Got Dang Song' is a bang-up soul delight, play it to anyone who needs UP-lifting.
If you believe that sweet soul is something that belonged only to the 60/70's then run this by your ears. If you're not coverted by the third listen, then stop buying albums! So amazing to hear a guy dealt such a cruel blow [being restricted to life in a wheelchair], sounding so warm, so effusive, so defiantly up. An OH SO BEAUTIFUL album.
- This entire CD would still be excellent even without the music and just Curtis singing. Because its his words that are so beautiful, and the way he sings them that makes our loss of him sting. I can't think of too many singers that you can say that about. Sometimes the music here gets in his way as if overcompensating, but focus and listen to his words and man - *its all freedom* as Jimi would say. A paralyzied man lifts you with the vibrance of his voice. Miracle? Yeah, its Curtis to the rescue again. Thanks Mr. Mayfield.
- "New World Order" released by a paralyzed Curtis Mayfield is laden with solacing, spiritual and conciliatory songs that resonate with love and soul. Divine intervention was at work when Curtis sung these songs with his gentle, yearning, wondrous and peerless voice. All the songs are dynamic and imperative. This recording exemplifies the triumph of a special human spirit, namely, Curtis Mayfield. It might be impossible to ever hear any recording more inspiring than "New World Order". I think of Curtis Mayfield every time the world's greatest living guitarist, Jeff Beck, plays his instrumental version of "People Get Ready". Curtis Mayfield will always be rememberred as a legend replete with talent, class and compassion. "New World Order" was his last CD and it was rife with vocal and instrumental virtuosity of the utmost quality !
- I am a white male that listens to primarily Hard music. This along with superfly has made me a dedicated fan. It is haunting and musically fantastic. He recorded this album while paralyzed in bed.

- I luv this CD, I bought this CD when it was released and I still listen to it, this album is a classic!
- Simply put, Bilal is a musical genius. But that's obvious given his credentials (Julliard, New School) and collabos (Erykah Badu, every Common LP since Like Water for Chocolate, D'Angelo...need I say more?). I admit when the album first dropped in '01 I was put off by the first single featuring the commerical Dre and Jadakiss, which was lacking in lyrical substance and appeal in my opinion. But Soul Sistah and Love it were always my faves. Then when I heard "Sometimes" about 2 years ago, I thought it would be worth it to give the album a second look. I am happy to say that I was not dissappointed! It has been so long since someone with such substance, talent and character has stepped on the scene, and he has been HIGHLY slept on by the general public and mainstream R&B outlets. Dude sings straight SOUL, bump the neo, infusing jazz and even gospel at some points with his tight vocals, you too will become one of the many underground followers of Bilal. He does sporadic shows in NYC several months apart, but you better buy your tickets early as he usually manages to pack a full crowd. No date for a second release has been marked by his record label and his myspace page says this is due in part to album leaks, further delaying release of the project. A great album to set the mood, I would highly recommend.
- Don't let the 3 stars put you off as this cd is not that bad...its just not as good as others in Neo- soul. The song writing is ok..but the album only gets going half way down from the song, Love It...so I say, try and listen to it some place...for more than the 30 seconds given.
- I have had this CD for a long time and everytime I listen to it I long for another release from him!! Bilal is very talented, this album is amazing, and every song tells a story. Highly recommended!!!
- At his best, Bilal is a very talented neo-soul artist. But, there are parts of this album that are simply lackluster. This young man has a very nice voice and showcases some raw talent with his debut CD, "1st Born Second". This album title, along with his name, intrigued me even before I listened to him. I said to myself, "Bilal, what a unique name", then I heard the name of his CD, and I just had to purchase it to see what he was about.
This album begins with some pretty weird songs. In some of them, Bilal is singing/rapping, and it is very hard to interpret what he is saying. His CD definitely picks up mid way through, and he finishes off with a bang! Typcially with albums, artists put their best songs at the beginning and end, usually not in the middle. He beings his album with "For You". It is beyond me why he opened his CD with such a bad song. The lyrics aren't good and neither is the production. The album progresses with the Dr. Dre produced "Fast Lane". This definitely sounds the work of him too because it incorporates some sounds he used on songs he produced previously to this one. "When Will You Call" and "Queen of Sanity" are album mentionables. These ballds showcase Bilal's lyrical and vocal ability. In "When Will You Call", Bilal has broken up with his lady, but he still wants her to call because he hopes these is still something there between them. "Queen of Sanity" is lyrically the best song on this piece of work. In the song, he says, "I forget life when I hold you tight" and "How do you run this race and never lose your place". Those are some profound lyrics!
Overall, after a couple of listens to Bilal's first album, his talent will all but jump out at you. He has a great knack for music and could be one of neo souls best if he uses discretion with choosing which songs to put on his final product. I recommend this album to neo soul fans.
Mikeisha's Top 5
1.When Will You Call?
2. Queen of Sanity
3. Sometimes
4. You Are
5. Love Poems

- GREAT CD!!!! ALMOST like being there! Great jams by great artists! Pick this one up for a great time!!!! Should be in every cd player for a long trip to be shorter or for every party to be started!
- Great blues Cd.
Always a joy to hear music, when various artists get together and jam it up.
The artists sound like the were just having a ball playing together
- Pros - I first heard a few cuts off of this album on Sirius and was truly impressed with this collaberation of fantastic artists. They really turn it up and 'rock the joint'.
Cons - The recording quality is lousy - plain and simple. There is so much distortion from the recording levels being set too high it really takes away from a great album. I hope mine is just a bad CD, but I don't think so. I did contact Delta Groove Productions and am awaiting their response.
- I saw the show at BB King's in Manhattan about 2 months ago (before the official release of the disc). Grabbed one on the way out, and have been listening ever since. Been a fan of Tommy Castro and of course the incomparable Magic Dick for years (when are he and Peter Wolf gonna get together again !!). They are both in fine form. The ensemble cast is great, with guest Curtis Salgado ripping through a cover of the Jimmy Reed tune It Ain't Me. Great stuff throughout. Highly recommend this disc. From beginning to end--you will not be disapointed.
- The Tommy Castro Band (with associates and friends) delivers a Stax/Volt Caribbean vacation workshop on how to play the blues! This is a live powerhouse set from the best of the best including the mouth harp of J.Geils frontman "Magic Dick," the piano and sax stylings of the east coast "Girl in the Band" Deanna Bogart and the Chicago guitar bluesman Ronnie Baker Brooks who sounds like Otis Redding himself reincarnated on the soulful "See You Hurt No More."
The best of the blues is the "Shuffle" beat and Castro regulars Scot Sutherland-bass and Chris Sandoval on percussion are simply "smokin" throughout the entire CD particularly on the CD's best number "I Feel That Old Feeling Coming On."
Deanna Bogart is a real treasure as she nails the piano and then fills in with a "FAT" Tenor Sax on the closing number "Sea Cruise" with the added attraction of Louisiana swamp keyboardist Marcia Ball and Castro stalwarts, Trumpeteer Tom Poole and sax phenom Keith Crossan. The CD also features San Fran sideman Mike Emerson on the Hammond B-3.
This is one terrific CD featuring the blazing guitar and vocals of the best of the new generation of bluesmen Tommy Castro...six minutes of "If I had a Nickel" just wasn't enough.
Five stars for the CD and two more stars for Ronnie Baker Brooks when he opines the nasty "She's Nineteen Years Old!"
My next vacation will be aboard the Rhythm and Blues Cruise!

- This man has music for your soul, every album he's made, is wonderful, if your into music for the soul, then I suggest you treat yourself to any of his albums!!!!!!
- the debut from Dwele starts off on a pretty good note. By track 3 though is where it really begins to kick in and things are taken up a notch.
Subject had to be one of the cds in 2003 for folks to watch and listen for. It covers various topics in relationships and love and is done in a way. You can't help but fall for. It gets a bit rocky towars the end track 13 (which is pretty much an interlude). But concludes nicely and leaves things open for what will probably be an even better sophomore effort.
- This Cd was just okay with me. Not my style exactly. You may enjoy it
- This CD is for mature taste. If you are a fan of the immature junk on the radio today, this is not for you. This is an instance classic and will be in my rotation indefinately.
- I got this cd after Some Kinda and it is just poor. This album can do with remixing, reproduction on his part, to make it good, as he has grown musically. This one is just weak but, their are one or two good traks

2 comments about Singin' in My Soul.
- I don't have this DVD or the CD by the same name (Singin' In My Soul), but I have seen the program they come from, and my favoite part is the reading by Suzanne Gaither Jennings entitled "Red Wing." This beautiful reading about how families are connected truly does remind us that "We all dance to the tunes we know." It is worth purchasing the DVD just for this reading alone, although Tanya Goodman Sykes rendition of "Redeemed" is lovely, too.
- A few years ago during an interview, Gloria Gaither was asked what was her favorite video. She said "Singin' In My Soul." I have every Gaither video/dvd & cd and this is one of the "forgotten" videos that is truly a blessing. The dvd starts with Singin In my soul by the Easters & Charlotte Richie. I will list a majority of the rest of titles at the end of this review. My favorite, absolutely favorite part of this dvd is Bill Gaither singing "I Believe, Help, Thou My Unbelief." I was at a funeral recently where Gaither songs were sung and afterward the minister and I were talking. As a lover of Gaither songs I asked him if he had heard "I Believe, Help, Thou My Unbelief." He said No and when I told him Bill Gaither had writen this song and recited some of the verses he wanted to find the dvd. Essentially the song and the dvd are saying, Belief is the most important part of salvation. Some people are very emotional and that's fine but if you are not that doesn't mean you are not "saved" or "forgiven." Two verses are "I Believe, help thou my unbelief, I walk into the unknown trusting as a child." Bill & Gloria have written a lot of songs but in the dark days when you really question God this song lifts you up. The rest of the songs are:
Looking For A City
My Sins Are Gone.
I Thank My Savior For It All
He Made A Change - the Cathedrals
One More River
Jesus Loves Me - Ivan Parker
Somebody Touched Me - Danny Funderburk
I've Never Been Sorry
Look For Me
I Believe, Help thou My Unbelief
If That Isn't Love
Redeemed - Squire Parson, Karen Peck, Guy Penrod
and many more.
There is a chapter insert with the songs and any price you pay will be worth it.

- Natalie Cole's follow-up to her hugely successful UNFORGETTABLE tribute to her dad, hits all the right notes. She returns to the "Unforgettable" era and picks an eclectic mix of songs -- most are jazz tinged, but there's some Caribeean flavor and some traditional R&B as well as classic pop sound mixed in for good measure. Natalie, by this point, had matured into a performer who was capable of working her way around a wide swath of material and she does herself proud with this collection.
She swings when she needs to, she mellows it out when necessary and she goes full throttle when the song calls for it.
I buy everything Natalie Cole puts out and she seldom disappoints. Enjoy this one! It's a winner!
- I suppose one can't own everything! This 1993 CD only recently came to my collection thanks to a $2 sidewalk sale. What a sweet sounding set! Natalie Cole is in fine form on this timeless set that has worn well in the 14 years since it was first released. On the standard "Cry Me a River," Cole's sleek lounge arrangement is so moody and dreamy that it makes feeling bad seem sweet, "You drove me nearly out of my head while you never shed a tear; Remember? I remember all that you said, told me I was too plebian, told me you were thru with me and now you say you love me, Well just to prove you do..." "It's Sand Man," a classic scat singing track that was a Count Basie favorite, is put through the roof with Cole's exciting jazz blast. Nat King Cole -- Natalie's dad for the three people who don't know that -- wrote the music for "Calypso Blues," which is given a delightful arrangement with percussion and Natalie's teasing vocals, "Des Yankee girls give me big scare, Is black de root, is blond de hair, Her eyelash false, her face is paint, 'An what you see is what she ain't." Natalie's original song "Lovers" blends seamlessly with the classic tracks on the set. The Duke Ellington song "I'm Beginning to See the Light" is another flirtatious delicacy. This is a wonderful set. I'm finally glad that it's hit my changer. Better late than never! Enjoy!
- I have enjoyed this album on a tape for years and was thrilled to get it on CD. The best of Natalie as far as I am concerned. I especially love her rendition of "Cry me a River." The "Swingin Shepherd Blues" and "Calypso Blues" pull you up on your feet and make you want to dance! All around good jazz numbers written by a variety of great people.
- This is a great CD of Natalie Cole's beautiful singing. Good dancing music as well. (fox trot)
- Natalie Cole brings all of her passion into her father's music and more with these jazzy standards. The songs in this collection flow effortlessly from one to the next. She takes the ultimate songs of some of the finest singers and makes them her own. (and then some)
Listen to the fine opening song "I Wish You Love" which has been previously recorded by Frank Sinatra, Nancy Wilson, and Barbara Streisand. Natalie's version of the standard "Swingin' Shepherd Blues" really DOES swing. This one has been recorded in the past by greats like Ella Fitzgerald and Count Basie. Natalie's vocal of "Cry Me A River" is unique. She has joined the ranks of the legends: Peggy Lee, Julie London, and Ella Fitzgerald. That jazz tribute, "Fiesta In Blue", has a certain playfulness in it. Legendary artists such as Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and Diana Ross have sung "Don't Explain". While each of these versions have been great, Natalie's interpretation is the definitive one for me. There is something haunting in her style that brings me back to hear it over again. "Too Close For Comfort" is infectious and rousing. Natalie brings a new energy to her father's song "Calypso Blues". "Take A Look" is a grand diva vocal finale.
The visionary musicians who participated in this collection each add something special to the mix. Artists like Alan Broadbent, Grover Washington Jr., and Herbie Hancock are just a few of these famous talents. This cd is a must for anyone who enjoys a classic jazz vocalist.

5 comments about Home Again.
- I enjoyed the Home Again, New Edition CD and It's the best New Edition CD I heard in a long time.
- This album is great!Highlights on this album are,
Oh Yeah It feel Good
Hit Me Off
Shop Around
Something About You
I'm Still In Love With You
- And even better to have a group like New Edition still doing their thing together despite all of the things going on with other groups. They've been in the music business for more years than i can count and the guys still know how to bring it home in their songs. From the first song "Oh Yeah, It Feels So Good" we have all the members explaining to everyone how great it is to be back and doing what they love. Ronnie has a significant part in this song with two parts rapping and singing as well as Mike along with Ricky, Bobby and Johnny on the singing. On "Hit Me Off" one of several hits off the album, the guys come back with a more hip hop flavored song taking a sample from the Black Moon song "I Got Cha Opin" and using it well with rap verses by Ronnie and Ricky on this one as well with Ricky, Bobby, Johnny and Ralph coming in as well. Then comes "You Don't Have to Worry" written by P. Diddy, Heavy D and the boys from 112. They give NE a different feel on this song and they work it well also contains a sample from the James Brown song "Your Love" vocals by Bobby and rap by Ronnie and Mike. "Tighten It Up" is worked on nicely by Jermaine Dupri also written by him along with Ricky Bell and a rap verse by Ronnie and Mike with vocals by Bobby, Ricky and Ralph. "Shop Around" is basically about a guy wanting to go have a look around when it comes to getting with a woman and its cool. because they handle the song well written again by JD along with Johnny, Ralph and Michael with vocals by Johnny, Ralph, Ricky and Bobby. "Hear Me Out" is a slow burner about him apologizing for hurting the woman that he's with because of what he did. Its written by Dinky Bingham, Geo Washington and Mike Bivins with vocals by Mike (spoken), Ricky, Johnny, Bobby and Ralph.
"Something About You" is a cool song (although not really one of my favs on the album) but its written by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis with Lead vocals by Ralph and Bobby also contains a sample from Edie Brickell's song "What I Am" with vocals by Ralph. "Try Again" is more uptempo song than previous efforts and i find myself enjoying more each time i listen to it. Has a sample from the Slick Rick song "Lick the Balls" and written by P. Diddy, Chucky Thompson and Harvey Frierson. Its about wanting to restart a relationship with someone you've moved on from in the past with vocals by Bobby, Ricky and Ralph. "How Do Like Your Love Served" asks the upfront question of how do you want to be pleased that's how i took it and it's written by Gerald Levert and Edwin Nicholas. Its another strong slow jam for me from the guys vocals by Ronnie (spoken), Ricky, Johnny and Ralph. Then comes one of my favorite New Edition songs since "Can You Stand the Rain". "One More Day" we all know what the song is about. its wanting to spend another moment with that special someone that you don't want to leave. Its written rather nicely by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis (once again) and Lead Vocals by Ricky along with Ralph as well. The video is nice as well nothing over the top or anything. "I'm Still In Love With You" another slow song that is right in there with other of my favorite songs. Written by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis we have Ricky and Ralph handling the lead vocal reins on this song as well with great results. Its just about a person being in love with someone despite them not being together and that those feelings won't fade away no matter how much time passes by.
I'm not really big on Interludes on albums for the most part they do nothing for me. But "Thank You (The JG Interlude)" is done well and its all handled with class and precision by Johnny Gill (one more reason why New Edition is and will always be one of the best groups out there). He's giving thanks for all the blessings and rewards that he and the group have achieved together over the years. the last song "Home Again" does just that bringing everything home and back to where it started for the group it shows how they've grown over the years and continue to even now vocals by Ralph, Bobby, Johnny, Ricky and Mike (spoken).
Its a fitting end song to altogether great CD from my favorite group out there. Nuff respect, New Edition knows how to get done and does it with precision regardless of what the brief amazon review says.
"Home Again" is classic NE material.
- I remember the first time I heard this album when it came out 10 years ago, listening to it now after I haven't listened to it for a while brings back some great memories, I was a young man at the time and I enjoyed the rhythms of the songs but really these songs have a deeper meaning to me now that I'm more grown and going through relationships, songs like "How Do You Like Your Love Served?", "I'm Still In Love With You", "Shop Around", and "Home Again" have so much soul to them, you got all the members of New Edition, Ronnie, Bobby, Ralph, Ricky, Mike, and Johnny on here that got so much chemistry together throughout this album, and with production from Jermaine Dupri, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Puffy Daddy(now known as Diddy), Heavy D(yes he's a hell of a producer too besides a great rapper, he produced on Beanie Siegel's last big hit if I'm not mistaken), and now the late great Gerald Levert(god bless that talented brother, I'm gonna have to review some more of his music when I get a chance) you can't really go wrong, if you're a fan of that real soul music with that hip-hop funk then this album is for you, it's a classic record, it has an even deeper meaning to me because this is how I was became interested in this group, they've made a lot of classics in their careers, solo and in group efforts(BBD and basically most of them releasing solo albums), much love to the NE fam, keep that music coming fellas
- I AM LIKE THE BIGGEST NEW EDITION FAN EVER...SO I REALLY LIKE THIS CD. AND EVERYTHING ELSE THEY'VE PUT OUT!!
