1. This is a must have album for anyone who likes gospel music or likes the sound of instruments praising God. Some of the best musicians out there play gospel songs ranging from "Oh How I love Jesus" to "When The Spirit of The Lord". This is an instrumental album that will please everyone. I give this the highest possible recommendation!!!!



2. I recently bought the "Worship & Praize, Volume I" CD to help pass the time on a roadtrip, and I have to say this was one of the best investments I have recently made in my music collection. Zomba Records has definitely got a winner with this one! The wonderful blend of contemporary praise and worship songs with a smooth jazz flava makes for a muscial journey that soothes the spirit and warms the soul! I especially enjoy the variety that this CD has to offer the listener. From Donald Hayes' melodic version of "Oh, how I love Jesus" to Jonathan Dubose, Jr's salsa-flavored rendition of "When the Spirit of the Lord", this CD is a must have to any person's collection of praise and worship music! :-)

1. This is got to be my most favorite praise and worship CD I own. It has great revival music written by Eric Nuzum, Steve Gray, Don Moen and Darrell Evans. Songs like "Redeemer, Savior, Friend" and "More of You, Lord" will bring you into the presence of the Lord. I believe there is a great anointing on this CD for revival. If you like great praise and worship like Hill Songs or Darrell Evans, I believe you will enjoy this CD.



2. If you're a worshipper and are hungry for more of God, then this is the album for you! Of all the praise and worship albums I own this is absolutely my favorite. I can't sit still when I listen to it but find myself dancing, kneeling and worshipping the Lord whenever I play it -- which is often! The vocals are great and the music is even better. The sound is superb, unlike some albums where the words are hard to make out. There is only one song I don't particularly care for out of 13 tracks -- all the rest are outstanding. I hope these guys come out with another album soon!



3. This is the first praise and worship CD I have ever purchased and I AM THRILLED! Every song on the CD has touched, healed or encouraged me in one way or another. A must-have for your collection!



4. If you haven't been to Smithton and wonder what it's all about - or if you have been, and you want something to keep fanning the flames - you'll like this CD. Great songs from the Praise & Worship team of the Outpouring, recorded live! Find yourself singing, dancing & reflecting on the Lord as you listen. A definite add-on for lovers of energetic and soulful revival music.



5. This points to the fact that Jesus is Savior and Lord. I hear a heart cry to be revived and renewed. God still heals today, revival IS here, just open yourself up to it and receive what God has for you. It's a time to be excited about what God is doing.

1. If you ever wished you could travel back to a small church on a dirt road in the deep south of 1940 for a morning of musical praise and worship, this disc will do it for you. This is an outstanding collection of songs and roots music that can be viewed as the predecessor to jazz, blues, and even rock. The songs presented here are recorded between 1934-1942 so sound quality isn't as good as it would be today, but that is a moot point because the passion and energy of the singers comes through clear as crystal. It's hard to be in a bad mood after listening to the joy and praise of this collection. "Holy Babe" is, in my opinion, the best song on the disc, but all of these songs should be listened to, absorbed, and appreciated by everyone.

1. I must say that when I picked up this CD, I was inclined to buy it for "He That Believeth" since we sing that in the choir that I belong too. However, there are more songs on here that caught my attention and stayed with me including "Get the Glory." While not a perfect collection, it is one that I cherish and listen to on a regular basis especially right before church. It is worth the money and if something happened to this one that I have, I would pick up another one.

1. Ora Alexander only made eight songs and she arrived in the early 30's. Perhaps if she had done these recordings in the 20's she would have made it big. I think she's as good as her contemporaries like Clara Smith and Ida Cox. The songs Ugly Man Blues and I'm Wild about my Patootie are the best of the bunch. They're great dirty blues songs and Ora shows she has a knack for scatting. The other people who are in this disc feel like fillers compared to Ora.
