- I received my CD's a lot faster than I thought I would. They were in excellent shape and packaged attractively. I have had no problem with them at all. I am very satisfied with my experience with Amazon thus far.
Sincerely,
Harold L. Jones
- I found this CD after hearing "You're the One" on a Dallas radio station while driving from OKC to my cousin's wedding. Then, I heard it again while driving back through. I rushed home and found it here on Amazon. I was engaged at the time, and my future wife had stayed overseas. The song reminded me instantly why we were getting married, which we did last summer in Eastern Europe.
I ordered the CD and have enjoyed not only "You're the One" but most of the other songs as well. I used "The One He Kept for Me" and "Come Take My Hand" on our wedding mix CD. The main thing for me, especially after almost reaching our first anniversary, is that a marriage should be about God first and your spouse second. If that isn't the case, then it will not be as God intended for you.
I recommend this CD for anyone getting married, already married, or hoping to be married one day. Good luck!
- I was looking for something that Christians could have at a wedding reception and this fits perfectly, wholesome yet still romantic....beautiful!!
- The hardest part of the planning is finding the right music. The songs on this CD are beautiful - I really like the song "Still In Love With You". I also like "I Will Be Here" from the O'Neill Brothers' three CD's "A DAY TO REMEMBER" - I found their CDs to be perfect and absolutely beautiful wedding music!
- This CD is one of the most brillant collections created in a long time. It allows "believers" to share while witnessing delicately to the unbeliever of what true love and Godly covenant is....my family and I have an event planning business and every wedding we've planned has included at least one of these songs....especially "You're the One:....it just doesn't get much better...

5 comments about Wow Worship: Red 2004.
- This CD is my very favorite. I drive alone up to New England from Maryland and sing along all the way. The artists are really good and the praise songs fill me with joy for the Lord. I have bought 2 besides my own to give as gifts. I highly recomment this CD.
- My introduction into the WOW catalogue, it is still one of my favorites. It contains a lot of great songs that I just don't hear very often. Again, the WOW series is great because the Worship disc contain a variety of styles (at times this is a weakness because of incontinuity), but is always focused on God of the Bible and his different attributes.
Some of my personal favorite tracks would have to be: "Amazing Love" by Bebo Norman, "Sanctuary" by Jaci Velasquez, "More than a Friend" Jeremy Riddle, "There is a Redeemer" by Keith Green, "May the Words of my Mouth" by Tim Hughes, "Be the Center", and "Open the Eyes of my Heart" by Randy Travis. If you enjoy country music, but want to only listen to Christian music, Randy Travis is a great alternative, because now all of his stuff is focused on the Lord. His album "Glory Train" is especially good, and I reccomend it to anyone who wants something a little bit different in the their mix of monotonus Christian music. ;P
Anyway, this is a great set, and I highly reccomend it to anyone even remotely interested in Christianity or music.
God Bless ~Amy
- This was a gift to my husband for Christmas. He has been so excited over it. Says it was more than he even thought. thoroghly enjoyable.
- The WOW series is great for people who want to have a wide sampling of what Christian music has to offer. There are some great songs on this album, and be warned - you will probably be running out to buy some more albums of the artists included here (especially Jeremy Camp). Also, check out the songs of Recent Rainfall which used to be in the Amazon free downloads section. You can now find them on www.recentrainfall.com Keep on praising and worshiping the King of Kings!
- WOW chose some really great artists for this two disk set. I preferred disk one, but both disks had praise that filled my spirit with God's love and kindness. I've seen several of these artists in concert and I was reminded of how powerful God's spirt can touch my soul when I dedicate some time and receive what God has blessed them with. All the lyrics are included with the CD and I enjoyed reading them as I listened. Maybe not quite as good as their yellow disk, but very comparable.

5 comments about Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship.
- To me, these sound like modern hymns. These songs are a breath of fresh air and a welcomed break from the over-produced mass of contemporary Christian music. Great songs taken right from scripture! Give it it a download. You won't be disappointed.
- The more I listen to this cd, the more I like it. I feel like it's the word of God being absorbed into my spirit- and the effect is indescribable.
- I bought this CD when my friend/worship leader fell in love with it. I really like the scripture songs, but the folksy music was hard to get past. Beyond the well-known voices, it reminds me vaguely of the early 90's scripture memory albums from Hosana Integrity music.
Best song: Glory Revealed by Candi Pearson-Shelton. Still giving this album a chance, I think I'll like it if we sing these songs in church - minus the bluegrass twang.
- We saw the Glory Revealed tour when it came to our church. I'm not typically a blue grass fan--I like Third Day, etc. And sometimes music live is enjoyable when the cd is not. But this cd has hardly left my player since I bought it. Very uplifting, engaging music, and the words are Scripture. Can't beat that.
- I would say its a close race between this cd and Shane & Shane's newest album "Pages" for worship album of the year. This cd has been a huge ministry to both me and my family as we've been through a few trying circumstaces this year. The concert for this cd was nothing short of uplifting and amazing and I was blessed to be there. Song favorites are, "Waters gone by", "To the only God", "Who is like you", and "You alone". Great cd if you like stripped down acoustic worship!

and thats WOW 2003. the only reason that i thought 2007 was better was because it had more music videos and i had a few more favorite songs on there than this one BUT this one it awsome as well!!! I recommend this DVD to anyone who likes chirstian music!
- WOW Videos are great and music covers a variety of areas. It is great for youth groups or just watching at home.
- Jump5 is the real deal on this cd!Their song,"All I Can Do" is absolutely WONDERFUL!They are a great contemporary christian group that sends out a positive message!
P.S.-If you want to get Jump5 music, get some of their cd`s!Here are the cd`s they`ve made:"Jump5","All The Time In The World","All The Joy In The World(Christmas","Accelerate","Mix It Up(Remixes),"Dreaming In Color",or "The Very Best Of Jump5".
- I have most of the Wow C.D.s, and this one remains my favorite. It stays true to Christian origins and lyrics, but keeps a bright, bouncy quality. Some of the songs performed by women are a little too close to the Spears/Simpson breathy and squeaky, but with singers like Jennifer Knapp (who sounds like the Dido/Amy Lee type), and the boy bands mimick NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. Despite that, this Wow year one of the better ones.
- For the seventh consecutive year, Wow offers a collection of highlights from the contemporary Christian music genre. As a whole, there's a nice mix of styles and artists here. The strongest tracks come from seasoned performers in this genre such as Steven Curtis Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, Jars of Clay, and Newsboys. All five of these artists have featured prominently in the Wow series, and will likely continue to do so. Jennifer Knapp, Selah, Rebecca St. James, and Audio Adrenaline also make a strong showing. Ironically, two of the best tracks on this collection come as bonus features, Chris Tomlin's 'Enough and Paul Colman Trio's 'Turn.' Unfortunately, not everything is golden here. Some of the younger artists like Zoegirl, Jump5, and Stacie Orrico have much to learn from their more mature peers in the industry. In a genre vulnerable to saccharine overload and lyrical cliches, this collection suffers from Christian music's inherent weakness, the difficulty of offering a fresh, meaningful perspective on life as a child of God in a musically inventive or original way.

5 comments about Gotta Serve Somebody: The Gospel Songs of Bob Dylan.
- Bob Dylan's gospel songs and some of the world's greatest gospel artists come together in one spectacular project. 'Pressing On' and 'When He Returns' are in a class of their own--prophetic, profound and powerful.
- If you buy this cd and ONLY listen to the Chicago Mass Choir absolutely tear into "Pressing On", you will have gotten more than your money's worth. Absolutely stunning version. I had previously bought another "Gospel Tribute To Bob Dylan" cd, and was not moved at all. I cannot say the same about this one. Highly recommended.
- from Dylan's house in Malibu where he can "see all the way to Ha/Wa/ee" and into the soul of man and god in the fallen forlorn new world order of reification, war machines, false prophets, corruption in principalities and powers that seem so unending but are falling apart even as I write and BD keeps writing/singing on(say, Rome toppled by the Pauline principles as registered in Gospel Music serving a different higher-lyric order than that of the big studio markets). This recording is (for me at least) an essential part of the Dylan canon, too, taking it into Baptist churches and the smoke-white hills and coal mines of west virginia.
- As reviewers have rightfully observed, Gotta Serve Somebody: The Gospel Songs of Bob Dylan is not merely another Dylan "tribute." Its 55 minutes and 11 songs are on a different plane entirely. And the curious fact of the Minnesota native himself participating should not go unnoticed.
It took some kind of courage to pay homage to this particular period of Bob Dylan's career, a period that still can evoke a scoff or dismissive chuckle from even the most diehard fan. Because this project had humble beginnings and likely had its fair share of painful moments, it must have given executive producer Jeff Gaskill tremendous joy when it was birthed...and an outside world could finally see it and feel it and think it and breathe it. Although Shirley Caesar kicks off the CD with a pre-song rap which includes these words--"I wanna share Bob Dylan's song with you"--it may well be the case that she's done to "Gotta Serve Somebody" what Jimi Hendrix did to "All Along the Watchtower." Like Hendrix, she wasted no time in making it her own (she recorded the song in 1980); Dylan even said, way back in 1985, that he liked her version better than his. Caesar, in this take, makes heartfelt and emotional declarations that seem anything but weak, alludes to the Hebrew scriptures at the beginning of the song (Joshua) and at the end (Chronicles) while her backup singers--with their occasional "Serve my Jesus!"--serve as an antidote to phony baloney revisionist history, i.e., Dylan really wasn't/isn't singing about Jesus, or if he was/is, that somehow he cannot claim his Jewish heritage. When Dylan recently sang "I Believe in You" in concert, one observer noted how it still retains the original passion and power of its '79-'80 airings. Dottie People's version on this CD makes a valiant run at the original, with a strong, convincing voice. The Fairfield Four's stab at "Are You Ready?" easily works since the medicine of Dylan's words--words like "heaven or hell," "destruction," "judgment," "swift sword," and "Armageddon"--go down smoother through the conduit of a legendary gospel group (instead of, say, a "spokesman" for the 1960s). Dylan friend Aaron Neville gives "Saving Grace," a song Dylan has recently sung, wonderful treatment. Its line, "Wherever I am welcome is where I will be" may apply not only to Dylan's destiny in eternity, but also to the earthy locations of his gigs in recent years (before U.S. presidents, rabbis, and the Pope, in gambling casinos and at outdoor fairs in the mud...wherever he is welcome). Regina McCrary's handling of "Pressing On," with the able support of the Chicago Mass Choir, must have sent shivers up the spines of those who heard her open Dylan's concerts back in 1979-1980 (what may have seemed like a chore at the time--an obstacle to Dylan taking the stage--turned out to be a privilege). As has been said, Dylan's performance with Mavis Staples on the final track, "Gonna Change My Way of Thinking," must be experienced. One reviewer has noted its blues orientation (very true), but also said the song is "only vaguely religious." Although we know how Dylan would react to a label like "religious," this is still wonderfully ironic. In this final track, I distinctly hear Dylan growling out lines--that he penned in 2002--that relate to, why, daily prayer ("Every day you got to pray for guidance / Every day you got to give yourself a chance"); a personal relationship with God ("Oh, Lord, you know I have no friend without you"); and the Second Coming ("Jesus is coming / He's coming back to gather His jewels"). You get the feeling that Dylan wasn't just whistling Dixie during those infamous stage raps in 1979-1980. We also get the corny humor at the beginning of this rewritten song too, so it's alright, we can also smile. "When he was doing the previous album, Slow Train Coming, in Muscle Shoals, he'd had this vision of Jesus, of the hand coming down and these hands reaching up. And he said at the same time he had this vision, he saw the whole album too--all the songs, everything, the whole thing was there. And he said, 'What you've drawn here was exactly what I saw'." These were the words that the late John Bauldie heard from Tony Wright, the artist who Dylan hired to paint the original cover to the Saved album. Now, over two decades later, this personal vision of Dylan's has been interpreted--through Gotta Serve Somebody: The Gospel Songs of Bob Dylan--with passion and respect by a formidable group of artists. The results are pleasing to the ear and soul. Do yourself a favor in this New Year of 2004...spend ten or fifteen dollars and get this collection of songs. It has recently been recognized by the Grammy folks in two categories: nominated for "Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album" and "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" (the Dylan/Staples duet). So there you have it, "traditional," "soul," "gospel," and "pop," a few labels one could arguably apply to Dylan without even uttering the ubiquitous "folk" or "rock"; or the "blues" that were instilled into the revamped version of "Gonna Change My Way of Thinking" on this CD. Incidentally, this same song is a surefire home remedy for the blues, insomnia, and/or reading SnoozeWeek (inside chatter for those who've heard it). - Essential-Powerful-Fresh-Soulful-Raw - - - Not a trite tribute but an excellent gospel CD (Even for those who think they don't like gospel).

5 comments about WOW 2000.
- Some of the songs on these two CD's were GREAT, but some did not appeal to me (this is just MY opinion). My favorite songs are "I Want to Know You (In the Secret)," "Stranded," "Show You Love," "Can't Live A Day," and "Friend of Mine (Columbine)". Another good song is "Waiting Room". I recommend this CD to anyone who likes good Contemporary Christian music.
- This has some really good songs on it. If you're like me and don't want to buy albums, and just get a bunch of the most popular songs for the year, then I highly recommend it.
- The WOW selection of Christian CDs is amazing. They have compiled CDs full of the best of today's contemporary Christian artists, and have done it successfully. With WOW 2000, you get a little bit of everything. From my personal favorite, dc Talk, to Chris Rice, to Third Day, Jaci Velasquez, Audio Adrenaline, Jars Of Clay, Michael W. Smith, etc. This list goes on and on. There is even a song by The W's from the show VeggieTales called 'The Rumor Weed Song' which is obviously geared toward little children but is great for people of all ages. The WOW collections have amazed millions of adults, teens, and children all across America. You can not go wrong by buying these collections. The songs are very spiritual and uplifting and are great for anyone who is trying to start a Christian music collection or for someone who is adding to their collection. I highly recommend this CD. If you enjoy this one, try the other WOW Christian compilations. Buy this one right away, you will love it forever!
- This was my first christian c.d. I am really glad i bought it because its such a wide variety of bands it helps you to know what bands you like. This is especially helpful if you are just starting out a christian music collection. N-E ways the songs are really good and there is one for every mood your in. Don't let the price scare you cause you get a ton of great music, and remember it is two c.d's. So be sure to consider this and at least put it on your wish list
- This was the first Christian CD that I got, and it was a great choice. I recomend this CD to anyone starting of a Christian CD collection or as just an addition.

5 comments about Songs 4 Worship: Shout to the Lord.
- These people singing have so much love for the Lord, it is breath taking and beautiful.
- Some old and some new tunes for me.
A nice mid week spiritual pick me up.
-
SONGS 4 WORSHIP: SHOUT TO THE LORD is an anthology of conventional and well-known songs in the 'Praise and Worship' Genre. The value of this double CD set is its collection of twenty-two old (at least by the conventions of modern worship music) standards in one place.
The set does not break new ground. Rather, it presents many favorite musicians doing their signature pieces: the Maranatha Singers, Paul and Rita Baloche, Darlen Zschech, Twila Paris, Delirious?, Amy Grant, Rick Mullins, Graham Kendrick, Keith Green, Pete Sanchez, Jr, Joseph Garlington, Charlie LeBlanc, Ed Gungor, Don Moen, Kent Henry, J. Daniel Smtih, Marty Nystrom, Ron Kenoly, and David Butterbaugh.
A good mile marker archive for your library.
- The best investment for my money. The best praise songs in one CD. We play and sing along to the songs before our prayer meetings.
- I am not a regular church goer any longer...and was not raised with this type of Christian music. However, after hearing commercials on TV, I found I really liked this music for a couple of reasons: (1) it's in celebration of our Lord (always a good thing); (2) it's joyful and refreshing; and (3) it allows "closet singers" (such as myself) to sing along (at the top of our lungs) and express our faith musically. Try putting on this CD while doing housework. It makes the task go by fast!!

5 comments about Worship Together: Here I Am to Worship for Kids.
- I bought this CD for my daughter who is 3 and she absolutely loves it. She recognizes most of the songs because we sing them in church. The songs have a great beat and are easy to listen to and sing along. I really enjoy the music myself. This is an all around wonderful worship CD for kids of all ages.
- Our 3-year-old son LOVES this CD!! He actually goes around singing worship songs -- and I've heard him singing them in bed at night. :) It's also very enjoyable for parents to listen to. And our son is excited when he knows the songs in church! :)
- As a parent of profoundly autistic twin boys, who have the capability of repeating phrases and parts of songs LOUDLY and without regard to where they are (be it school or a basketball game, the grocery store, library, etc.) this CD has been a Godsend. Literally. Now they sing about God everywhere and no one can stop them =)=) Rock On!
- A great music CD for kids. "Here I Am to Worship for Kids" will give your kids a chance to learn the praise and worship songs they will hopefully be singing for a long time.
- When I bought this CD I expected that it would help my kids to worship. What I didn't expect was that it would provide a deep worship experience for me as well. I have been introducing these songs in our Children's Church. They are age appropriate arrangements of many of the same modern worship songs our church loves. Another benefit was the reaction of my kids worship adult volunteers. With other music they had participated mainly to set a good example for the children. With these songs the grown-ups have a meaningful worship experience.
I would recommend this CD for family worship, children's church or for the car.

5 comments about Top 25 Praise Songs.
- The 25 praise songs are ok. Since there are so many songs on the CD, the songs are very short... but the bonus/sampler CD that came with it is wonderful! I listen to that more than any other CD at this point in time.
The bonus sampler by itself was worth the price.
- Honestly, I love this CD! Almost every song is really, really good! Only a handful are average and the rest are GREAT! I have had the CD for sometime now and it's about all I listen to in my vehicle. I love singing along with it and the music makes you feel good! As I have told my wife, I plan to buy several of these 'Top 25 Praise Songs' CDs and give them to friends and relatives as gifts. It is that good!
- This CD has some of the greatest praise and worship songs ever, but they are all just a little on the slow side, and I find myself wishing they were just a step up on the tempo. Most of the songs are not in my key, and I can't really sing along with this one very well, maybe that's my singing voice, not the cd, but just the same, I prefer the "Songs for Worship" CD's instead.
- I bought this CD for my seven-year old's birthday. He has listened to secular rock with me for years, and I felt like we needed something else to listen to in the car, and I knew that both my kids liked praise songs from church. Wow! I also bought him a CD player at the same time, and I have been amazed how much he chooses to listen to these songs, over and over and over. We all sing to these songs, even my Pearl Jam-loving husband! I've never been one to listen to Christian rock, prefering either true gospel or secular rock. I love this music and the sound of my son singing to God. I may order another one just like it so that my twelve-year old will have his own.
- This collection of the 25 best praise and worship songs is an amazing array of all your favorite songs. This gold selling album, the brain child of Holland Davis, presents such songs as Shout to The Lord, Lord i Lift Your Name On High, As The Deer and many others.
