2 comments about Wow Hits 1.
- So it looks like the WOW Hits people have decided to release WOW Hits several times a year instead of once a year, which means that this is going to be like the secular Now That's What I Call Music compilations, but with MUCH better music. If I ever see WOW Hits Next to one of the Now's, (not that it would ever happen) I would buy WOW Hits!
Anyway, the good mix of songs is still there, similar to what the yearly versions had - the same mix of genres, but all on one disc. The booklet says "Coming Soon - WOW Hits 2 and WOW Hits 3" with the covers of both pictured. So I'm already looking forward to those. The good thing is, now I won't have to wait a year for another WOW Hits!
- Great variety of newer songs, and the bonus tracks as usual take a while to get used to.

5 comments about 100 Best Loved Hymns.
- I bought this CD for my 82 year old mother who requested a Christian music CD for her birthday. She was so disappointed because the CD was very boring. The arrangement of each song seemed to be exactly the same tempo and rendition. I would not recommend it for anyone.
- I think this is a very good cd. It has some of my favorite hymns on it and the singers are very good. I really enjoyed it and am glad I purchased it as I expect that I will listen to it for many years.
- I agree with another reviewer; the songs are so slow they are unbearable. I'm selling my set at a garage sale and looking for something with a little more pace!
- I love hymns. I work out to hymns. But this collection is sooooooooooo slow!!! They've slowed down every good hymn to the point it is painful to listen to it. I do not recommend this DVD unless you like your music painfully slow.
- I purchased these for my mother at Christmas. My mom is around 68 and she really enjoys these old time hymns.

5 comments about Glory Revealed: The Word of God in Worship.
- To me, these sound like modern hymns. These songs are a breath of fresh air and a welcomed break from the over-produced mass of contemporary Christian music. Great songs taken right from scripture! Give it it a download. You won't be disappointed.
- The more I listen to this cd, the more I like it. I feel like it's the word of God being absorbed into my spirit- and the effect is indescribable.
- I bought this CD when my friend/worship leader fell in love with it. I really like the scripture songs, but the folksy music was hard to get past. Beyond the well-known voices, it reminds me vaguely of the early 90's scripture memory albums from Hosana Integrity music.
Best song: Glory Revealed by Candi Pearson-Shelton. Still giving this album a chance, I think I'll like it if we sing these songs in church - minus the bluegrass twang.
- We saw the Glory Revealed tour when it came to our church. I'm not typically a blue grass fan--I like Third Day, etc. And sometimes music live is enjoyable when the cd is not. But this cd has hardly left my player since I bought it. Very uplifting, engaging music, and the words are Scripture. Can't beat that.
- I would say its a close race between this cd and Shane & Shane's newest album "Pages" for worship album of the year. This cd has been a huge ministry to both me and my family as we've been through a few trying circumstaces this year. The concert for this cd was nothing short of uplifting and amazing and I was blessed to be there. Song favorites are, "Waters gone by", "To the only God", "Who is like you", and "You alone". Great cd if you like stripped down acoustic worship!

5 comments about Precious Lord: The Great Gospel Songs of Thomas A. Dorsey.
- This is truly a classic of that old time spiritual gospel we all grew up on. Every time I hear anything by Dr. Thomas Dorsey, it takes me back to my childhood and going to church with my grandmama in Alabama... a MUST have CD!
- I first heard of Thomas Dorsey on a PBS program. I was very impressed
then, and this album has just increased my love of his music. A very good
CD which has to be heard to be appreciated. Highly recommended!
- Outstanding, a highly recommended if you are interested or would like to get to know, feel and understand GOD SPEL, please sink your spiritual heart in this and reach deeeeep down to succumb to the meaning by understanding the trials and tribulations of the times. True voices, lyrics, deep in your soul, way back when GOSPEL. The much older generation know Mr. Dorsey, who was/is Gospel. The younger generation know Lift Every Voice and Sing, Thank you.
- Five stars does not do justice to this classic. Trust me; if you are a fan of true spiritual gospel music, this is the CD for you. A CD for all times that will magnify your collection.
PEACE.
- Your soul will thank you. One of my all-time favorites. Thomas A. Dorsey is a genius--one of the best American songwriters...ever. As a tunesmith, he is up there with Jagger, Richards, Dylan, Lennon, Waits, Newman, Foster and Ray Charles. What a record.

- I am very fond of this CD. I love this kind of music and this Cd has the perfect mix of gospel music.
- I heard about this CD on NPR and ordered it as soon as it came out. What a bargain for such a gfreat collection. The styles it covers include just about everything one could hope for, except for the lack of any ring shouts. The sound quality is excellent, too. The liner notes, while good, could have been even more extensive, but then there are other venues for following up one's interests that may be piqued by this compilation. All in all, a great selection at a very affordable price.

5 comments about Top 25 Praise Songs.
- The 25 praise songs are ok. Since there are so many songs on the CD, the songs are very short... but the bonus/sampler CD that came with it is wonderful! I listen to that more than any other CD at this point in time.
The bonus sampler by itself was worth the price.
- Honestly, I love this CD! Almost every song is really, really good! Only a handful are average and the rest are GREAT! I have had the CD for sometime now and it's about all I listen to in my vehicle. I love singing along with it and the music makes you feel good! As I have told my wife, I plan to buy several of these 'Top 25 Praise Songs' CDs and give them to friends and relatives as gifts. It is that good!
- This CD has some of the greatest praise and worship songs ever, but they are all just a little on the slow side, and I find myself wishing they were just a step up on the tempo. Most of the songs are not in my key, and I can't really sing along with this one very well, maybe that's my singing voice, not the cd, but just the same, I prefer the "Songs for Worship" CD's instead.
- I bought this CD for my seven-year old's birthday. He has listened to secular rock with me for years, and I felt like we needed something else to listen to in the car, and I knew that both my kids liked praise songs from church. Wow! I also bought him a CD player at the same time, and I have been amazed how much he chooses to listen to these songs, over and over and over. We all sing to these songs, even my Pearl Jam-loving husband! I've never been one to listen to Christian rock, prefering either true gospel or secular rock. I love this music and the sound of my son singing to God. I may order another one just like it so that my twelve-year old will have his own.
- This collection of the 25 best praise and worship songs is an amazing array of all your favorite songs. This gold selling album, the brain child of Holland Davis, presents such songs as Shout to The Lord, Lord i Lift Your Name On High, As The Deer and many others.

5 comments about Worship Together: Here I Am to Worship for Kids.
- I bought this CD for my daughter who is 3 and she absolutely loves it. She recognizes most of the songs because we sing them in church. The songs have a great beat and are easy to listen to and sing along. I really enjoy the music myself. This is an all around wonderful worship CD for kids of all ages.
- Our 3-year-old son LOVES this CD!! He actually goes around singing worship songs -- and I've heard him singing them in bed at night. :) It's also very enjoyable for parents to listen to. And our son is excited when he knows the songs in church! :)
- As a parent of profoundly autistic twin boys, who have the capability of repeating phrases and parts of songs LOUDLY and without regard to where they are (be it school or a basketball game, the grocery store, library, etc.) this CD has been a Godsend. Literally. Now they sing about God everywhere and no one can stop them =)=) Rock On!
- A great music CD for kids. "Here I Am to Worship for Kids" will give your kids a chance to learn the praise and worship songs they will hopefully be singing for a long time.
- When I bought this CD I expected that it would help my kids to worship. What I didn't expect was that it would provide a deep worship experience for me as well. I have been introducing these songs in our Children's Church. They are age appropriate arrangements of many of the same modern worship songs our church loves. Another benefit was the reaction of my kids worship adult volunteers. With other music they had participated mainly to set a good example for the children. With these songs the grown-ups have a meaningful worship experience.
I would recommend this CD for family worship, children's church or for the car.

2 comments about Songs 4 Worship Platinum.
- It is a great CD, exactly what I was looking for. I play it every morning on my commute to work.
- WOW. Brian Doerksen's "Come, Now is the Time to Worship" (acoustic version), Robin Mark's "Days of Elijah", Darlene Zschech's "Shout to the Lord", Lincoln Brewster's "Lord I Lift Your Name on High", Paul Beloche doing "God of Wonders" and "Open the Eyes of My Heart", plus the revelation that is Kathryn Scott on "Hungry (Falling on My Knees)" and "I Can Only Imagine", along with various artists on "Lord Have Mercy", "Awesome God", "Here I Am to Worship", "Above All", "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" and more. There are a couple of songs on here I could do without, thus the almost perfect. But the performances here are so uniformly outstanding they collectively represent the state of the art of contemporary Christian worship music. A glorious and inspiring collection. Plus a DVD with live performances--some of this I can live without, but don't miss the gripping and powerful performance of Zschech doing "Potter's Clay". May God continue to move mightily in this generation through this music.

5 comments about Wow Worship: Red 2004.
- This CD is my very favorite. I drive alone up to New England from Maryland and sing along all the way. The artists are really good and the praise songs fill me with joy for the Lord. I have bought 2 besides my own to give as gifts. I highly recomment this CD.
- My introduction into the WOW catalogue, it is still one of my favorites. It contains a lot of great songs that I just don't hear very often. Again, the WOW series is great because the Worship disc contain a variety of styles (at times this is a weakness because of incontinuity), but is always focused on God of the Bible and his different attributes.
Some of my personal favorite tracks would have to be: "Amazing Love" by Bebo Norman, "Sanctuary" by Jaci Velasquez, "More than a Friend" Jeremy Riddle, "There is a Redeemer" by Keith Green, "May the Words of my Mouth" by Tim Hughes, "Be the Center", and "Open the Eyes of my Heart" by Randy Travis. If you enjoy country music, but want to only listen to Christian music, Randy Travis is a great alternative, because now all of his stuff is focused on the Lord. His album "Glory Train" is especially good, and I reccomend it to anyone who wants something a little bit different in the their mix of monotonus Christian music. ;P
Anyway, this is a great set, and I highly reccomend it to anyone even remotely interested in Christianity or music.
God Bless ~Amy
- This was a gift to my husband for Christmas. He has been so excited over it. Says it was more than he even thought. thoroghly enjoyable.
- The WOW series is great for people who want to have a wide sampling of what Christian music has to offer. There are some great songs on this album, and be warned - you will probably be running out to buy some more albums of the artists included here (especially Jeremy Camp). Also, check out the songs of Recent Rainfall which used to be in the Amazon free downloads section. You can now find them on www.recentrainfall.com Keep on praising and worshiping the King of Kings!
- WOW chose some really great artists for this two disk set. I preferred disk one, but both disks had praise that filled my spirit with God's love and kindness. I've seen several of these artists in concert and I was reminded of how powerful God's spirt can touch my soul when I dedicate some time and receive what God has blessed them with. All the lyrics are included with the CD and I enjoyed reading them as I listened. Maybe not quite as good as their yellow disk, but very comparable.
