3 comments about Authentic Worship: Celtic Worship.
- The song, Pierced, has become one of our church's favourites. Guests who have heard us sing along to this song have been close to tears at the end. I've been asked for the CD's name several times after this song has played. We cannot believe that this song is not well known (it's impossible to find the lyrics on the web at this time). Purchase the CD for this song, and you'll be glad you did.
- There are only a couple of tracks that are truly Celtic hymns, most are ordinary contemporary Christian songs, and all are new age arrangements. Definitely not a Celtic album.
- You've probably heard these songs before if you're familiar with contemeporary christian pop and hymns. The lyrics are not anything deep on any of these songs. All the songs are sung by females except for one. I guess if you like new age celtic music you will enjoy this. There just isn't anything new and nothing too deep.

4 comments about Sisters: Songs Of Friendship, Joy, & Encouragement For Women.
- A perfect album to encourage all women, that you are not alone in life's little heartbreaks! This album truly touches upon all life's experiences and makes it somehow a little easier for you to get throught even the hardest times! It touches on religeon just enough to remind you there is a God but doesn't overwealm you with one just one religeous belief, very well done! Everyone could use some of messages in the songs! A great family album for all!
- Not only did the voices and music witness and minister to my heart, but the words did. So many WOMEN can relate to every song and emotion that was presented in song. This is a great witnessing and ministry tool. This music truly demonstrates Women Equipping Women.
- I love this CD!! In fact, I plan to order it for each of my three sisters for their birthdays this year. I bought this CD without hearing any of the songs - strictly from the description on Amazon. What a delight.
- this is about all of us and many if not most of us have been there it is up lifting and encourageing I couldn't live without it

5 comments about The Best Worship Songs...Ever!.
- This is the nicest collection of worship songs on CD that I have found. Such a nice assortment and with various artisit. I enjoy this so much.
- Wonderful, Spirit-Filled collection
Excellent Condition
Very speedy shipping
- I bought this for my mother, she said it was very heart felt and there are alot of songs she had a hard time finding on thier wonderful CD's "they are very up lifting"
- The compilation of songs is very good. That's why I picked this CD. However, I don't like the way the singers sing the worship songs. It's not traditional. I can't really hear and meditate the lines. The surrounding music is quite loud and noisy, because it involves too much modern instruments. When you choose this cd, I advise you to consider this.
- I find this album terrific. I encourage everyone to buy it. You fill blessed when you listen to it. It's very good.

- I really enjoyed this C.D. I really enjoy upbeat music, and having Christian music that I can move to is a treat. I often use this while doing my treadmill. It is also great for the annual harvest party cake walk at my church. If you are looking for Christian dance beat this is a good pick.
- This CD is great for workouts. The music is very upbeat and the remixes are incredible.
- You could question whether this was really NEEDED, but since it's here, how did they do? Well, for the most part the "cheer" intermissions fall flat. They don't really connect with the sports theme and they tend to interrupt the album's flow. The album also should be mixed continuously for the sake of a non-stop listening experience but this wasn't done.
HIGHS:
Not surprisingly since dance-tempo music works best at these types of events, it's the more overtly dance numbers that fare best. A Quinlan (the guy behind Benjamin Gate) remix of Rebecca St. James' "I Will Carry You" is club-worthy, as is a remake of 60s nugget "What the World Needs Now (is Love)" as an uncredited gospelly singer handles verses with Considering Lily on the choruses. A remix of Carman's "People of God" is surprisingly funky. The "full throttle mix" of Audio Adrenaline's take on Edgar Winter's "Free Ride" is fantastic.
The other good numbers (DC Talk's "Jesus is Just Alright" Doobies cover, World Wide Message Tribe's clubthumper "The Real Thing",M.C. Hammer's "Pray", and Lakita's "Speak to the Hand") are available on other CDs so they aren't reasons to buy this in and of itself.
LOWS:
Anyone else notice that the Christianized remake of Grand Funk's "Some Kind of Wonderful" is set to essentially Gary Glitter's "Rock and Roll, Pt. 2"? (Yeah, the "ba-da-da-da dih-dih-dih-dih-dee YEAH! ba-da-da" song..) They even have the shouted "yeahs". The "linney's sumpin' sumpin' mix" for Delirious?'s "Louder than the Radio" is also a stinker.
BOTTOM LINE:
Only a few of the best tracks on here are available on other discs:
Lakita "Speak to the Hand" (ASIN B000003ZHC)
World Wide Message Tribe "The Real Thing" (ASIN B000002NFE)
DC Talk "Jesus is Just Alright" (ASIN B00007JGUQ)
MC Hammer "Pray" (ASIN B000002UVD)
But as a whole, I'm not "wowed" by this disc. On balance, I'd say skip this one unless you're a completist that has to have every mix of every song by your favourite artists.
2 1/2 stars
- Quite an interesting concept for a various artists compilation. This collection of up-tempo tunes is a must have if you enjoy your Christian music with a bit of an edge. It also comes in very handy if you need some music to exercise to!
Many of the tracks have been remixed, improving on already strong songs. Bleach's "Super Good Feeling" kicks things off in fine style. The remix of "I Will Carry You" by Rebecca St. James is completely uplifting and really improves on the original. And just when you thought there couldn't possibly be another decent remix of the Newsboys' classic "Shine", the "sequential mix" shows up here, and it really kicks. I also have a thing for cover versions, so I really enjoyed Considering Lilly's turn on Bacharach/David's "What The World Needs Now", Audio Adrenaline's version of Edgar Winter's "Free Ride" (finally remixed here), and DC Talk's "Jesus Is Just Alright", which is probably the oldest track on the album. Less successful was the version of "Some Kind Of Wonderful" by Voices Live! - it is not quite as strong as the other covers. The only draw back for me was the inclusion of MC Hammer's "Pray" (didn't we hear that enough when it was on the radio?)and the Carman track. The "cheers" that are performed in between some of the tracks are somewhat annonying, but not so much that they wreck the continuity of the album. Fans of Christian dance music will not want to miss this. Great up-tempo songs that work as a great soundtrack for any workout or party.
- This is a really cool cd! I bought it at Best Buy and I just bought it because I knew some artists on there. When I listened to it I didn't realize that some songs were remixes and I thought they were really cool! If you like rocky dance tunes you would want to buy this cd. I like the remix of Super Good Feeling by Bleach and I Will Carry Remix by Rebecca St.James. I Also like the songs What the World Needs Now, Louder then the Radio Remix, Free Ride Remix and many more. You would Love this cd.

2 comments about Smoky Mountain Hymns.
- This is one of my favorite CD. My wife and I are avid Goldwing motorcycle riders. This CD sets the mood and lifts your spirits for riding in the Great Smoky Mountains
- I have owned all three volumes of Smoky Mountain Hymns for about six years. They are among my most-listened-to CD's, which is saying a lot! The recordings are pure accoustic and extremely "clean." The hammered dulcimer has a clear, high-lonesome sound. The support from the mandolin, banjo and guitars is precise and harmonic. If you like hymns and if you like mountain instruments, it will be impossible not to tap your foot and hum along to such favorites as "I'll Fly Away," "Amazing Grace," and "Unclouded Day." -- John Weistart, Durham, NC

5 comments about David: Ordinary Man...Extraordinary God.
- I was blessed to sing along these men, I also watch the DVD music videos included, GREAT WROSHIP that only GOD is worthy of.
- It is hard to describe what this cd is but I can say this ...
The songs vary and for very good reason. Love, deliverance, adoration, a cry for help, and so much more.
We might not be able to accurately reproduce the loving and passionate worship that King David was anointed to bring about, but I believe that this cd is an outstanding production of honoring his spirit of worship
- I'm not a great critic but if I can play a CD for hours, driving down an interstate then it's earned high praise from me. The album is worshipful, motivational to reading the Psalms, ending with encouragement reading God's Word. I hope these singers come out with a second.
- This is wonderful music with a glorious message. I encourage you to read the Psalms to which the songs relate; I found it very inspirational.
- I bought this album after hearing Clay Crosse sing "Purify Me" at a church concert. The CD is good, the artists are good. It's a fascinating project and brings to life some of the psalms of David. I am glad to have it in my collection.
