1. Absolutely enjoyable. I recommended it to my 4 best friends and they too thought it was wonderful that they have recommended it to others.
   
   The varieties of artist was tastefully chosen to make a beautiful CD



2. I was a bit disappointed in this CD. It seems that, rather than making it a truly gospel album, the producers chose several secular songs, including "A Song for Mama," "Lean on Me," and even Luther's stunning "What the World Needs Now is Love." Not that these songs aren't enjoyable - they are. They just aren't "gospel," at least not to me.
   
   But all is not lost. Whitney Houston's "I Love the Lord" is almost worth the price of the CD. This is Whitney at her best and the song is spectacular. I also love Smokey Robinson's "I Have Prayed on It."
   
   If you're looking for solid gospel, buy WOW Gospel 2006. If you want "gospel lite," this is the album for you!

1. Hip Hope Hits 2006 represents the Christian hip-hop community with this latest installment. Some of the best artists from Hip Hope Hits 2005 are back, along with a few new heads. I'm a consumer of many christian rap albums, i got 2005 (which is also an amazing cd), and just bought 2006 and can't stop listening to it. it has a more R$B sound to a lot of the songs but its very diverse like that. Many artist from the last hip hope hits appear on this album, like pigeon john, t-bone, dj maj, john reuben, 4th avenue jones, LAS, KJ-52, Mars-ill, toby mac, verbs, liquid and of course grits. There is however a couple of new artist on the cd. There are a lot of other great christian rap artist maybe not as well known. Higher Ground: Hip-Hop Reformed & Reborn is another cd i would suggest to get to listen to other artist. Also are no artist from the cross movement, they all have really good separate cds out. The DVD is alright that comes with the cd, i just wish there were more music videos from these artist.



3. HipHope 2006 is a great album. I've got already an earlier edition from HipHope, and it is my most favourite cd. This record is that good as wel, and maybe even better. I like to hear music like DJ Maj, Grits, LA Symphony and T-bone, so this album gives me a lot of good hiphop songs with at the same time good christian lyrics. If we had no christmas in one month I would buy it now!

1. I LOVE this CD. I wanted to give this 5 stars but it could have been a little stronger. Some Christians r never satisfied.



2. Songs 4 Life are uplifting and inspirational! It's wonderful to hear so many talented artists playing my favorites and even some I haven't heard before. If you aren't familiar with any or some of these artits, this is a great way to sample them.



3. This particular Cd is not one of my favorites in the collection but it is a good Cd. It features many great songs as well as well-known artists. I have about 10 Songs for Life Cd's and they keep getting better all the time. Plus it is a good deal for two Cd's with 11 songs on each Cd. Enjoy!



4. I have all four sets in the series and truly feel that this was one of the best purchases I've made for our 'family' in a long time! The words are included and while we drive, my 8- and 10-year-olds concentrate on singing along with the artists. Some tracks are powerful, others comforting - but all are enlightening and great to sing along with! Many were familiar from Vacation Bible School. I was looking for a CD that would 'bring the music home'. These CD's travel from car to house and back again every day. You will not be disappointed!



5. It is unfortunate that Paige Lagrone from Amazon.com gave such a poor review of this collection, because it DOES help the listener "feel the power" of God's love, strength and encouragement. Just as the other three collections live up to their titles, this one delivers what it promises - spiritual strength to go out be a testimony to the love of Christ.

1. I loved the songs selected for this CD, however, the richness of the audio is lacking tremendously. If you like your music to sound like AM radio--buy it. If not, you will be disappointed in the lack of sound quality. Very disappointed in the sound quality.

1. This is the nicest collection of worship songs on CD that I have found. Such a nice assortment and with various artisit. I enjoy this so much.

3. I bought this for my mother,she said it was very heart felt and there are alot of songs she had a hard time finding on thier wonderful CD's "they are very up lifting"



4. The compilation of songs is very good. That's why I picked this CD. However, I don't like the way the singers sing the worship songs. It's not traditional. I can't really hear and meditate the lines. The surrounding music is quite loud and noisy, because it involves too much modern instruments. When you choose this cd, I advise you to consider this.



5. I find this album terrific. I encourage everyone to buy it. You fill blessed when you listen to it. It's very good.

1. For those who appreciate the hymns together with excellent performance and quality, this is a great set. It is the only one, so far, that I have chosen to own, in style and effect being neither steeped in the traditional restraints of the "acapella-only-for-congregational-music" types nor weakened by so much of today's modern yet lame and annoying remix versions. I have been many times let down and irritated with either the blandness of some of the more traditional productions... or the obnoxious noise and "whining-ness" of so many modernized versions afloat recently.
   
   Some of these arrangements constructed are fabulous. The more mellow will soothe or inspire, while the the upbeat is uplifting. I wish I could experience certain ones (i.e. Pass Me Not, Jesus, Lover of My Soul) live by those who actually performed them for the album.



2. I really Enjoy for the most part, But sometimes some of the songs get on my nerves. If I had the choice to buy it again, I would.



3. You get tons of hymns on this CD. They are all great selections. However, I was hoping for something more traditional, especially coming from Maranatha. There are arrangements that are modernized and some where it's only instrumental. It's not a consistent compilation.



4. I have always loved anything that Maranatha Music puts out and this c.d. is no exception. It is a wonderful compilation of classic hymns done beautifully. Maranatha does a wonderful job of having both traditional parts, as well as their own parts that are not necessarily contemporary, but more traditional Maranatha music. Two disks of great traditional hymns and a great buy!



5. Maybe,this is the best CD ever bought.

   I've made up my mind to buy this CD more for my friends.
