5 comments about Songs 4 Worship: Holy Ground.
- If you prefer some of the slower-paced praise songs, this is for you. Almost all are down-tempo. Very beautiful compilation, though. Good for easy-listening, sunny afternoon.
- This second installment of the Songs 4 Worship collection from Time Life. This CD too contains many of the choruses and worship songs we have come to love over the years.
This CD will help you keep the joy of your salvation, or else restore it if need be. The reason? The lyrics of each song, bar none, exalts the Lord Jesus in all of His Glory.
- this CD is awesome. it just puts me in a worhip spirit. the songs are great. it just makes me feel like i just came from a wonderful worship service. a must have.
- Joy and happiness will bubble up from the depths of your soul when you listen to these songs of praise. Highly motivational, too! These songs will energize your body, mind, and spirit; and no task will seem insurmountable.

5 comments about WOW Gospel 2000.
- The 2000 Wow Gospel cd seems to be my favorate of the series. I have been blessed -richly by the album. It has been my morning devotional cd almost every day since it was released.
- All I can say is that this is a spiritually uplifting CD. I may end up buying a second one to keep, as within the one week period I have owned it, I have played it so much -- play it to sleep everynight. A real blessing! You need to listen to the CD to understand the High Praise.
- This cd set has every conseiveable kind of varaition on gospel music. From the quiet and calm "Who do you love" to the spritual uplifting, "Oh Happy Day" I was instantly pleased with the amount of variety on the cd. Would recommend it to anyone whom wants or needs a soul moving, foot tapping, spritual uplifting kind of music.
- Verity Records has put together a outstanding collection of the Year's Top 30 Gospel Artists and Songs. We do think they forgot to add Our main man Kirk Franklin, but that okay because this Cd has really been a Blessing to us. We recommend this CD to all you people who loves gospel music for what it stand for which is telling the good news about our Lord and Savior.
- Awesome-this 2cd set has something for everyone. It has worship songs, gospel hip-hop by Fred Hammond and Powerful uplifting songs by favorites like Dottie Peoples. I purchased this CD prior to having heart surgery & I've been listening to it every day! Richard Smallwood's "Healing" - is just what the Doctor ordered.

3 comments about Top 25 Praise Songs for 2005.
- You gotta have these songs!!! My kids sings with me in the car, and they love them! Package looks like brand new! Received on time!
- This is like buying a "Top Hits" CD only to find that it's not by the original artists. These are supposedly the songs tearing up churches, but these lounge band renditions are more of a snooze than the tired hymns they're meant to replace. Can this be the same Maranatha Music that once put out the Praise and Maranatha series of albums? That once had Tom Howard arranging their records? Does it have any relation to the Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa that put out the Altar Boys' Gut Level Music, Undercover's Boys and Girls Renounce the World and Leslie Phillips on Back to the Rock? When you want to put those out again, Maranatha, I'll be listening.
The good thing is that if you get a CCLI license, you can perform these songs at your own church, and some of them are strong songs when played by real bands like Third Day, Delirious, and the O.C. Supertones. This CD demonstrates the down side of cranking out praise songs as a cottage industry. Go listen to the Beatles (Ringo had talking drums, not a drum machine). You say you want a Reformation? Start with the music.
- I love this CD set! Its really easy listening and has great artists!

4 comments about WOW The 90's: 30 Top Christian Songs of the Decade.
- Thank goodness Christian music is a lot better nowadays than it was in the 90's! It's hard to imagine a time before there was David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Delirious, Jeremy Camp, Mercy Me, Relient K, Toby Mac, Leeland, Shawn McDonald, and Jars of Clay made the Wow Worship CD's.
- For anyone who listened to Christian contemporary music throughout the 1990's, this album will serve as a wonderful journey into your history. I found myself singing along with songs I haven't heard or even thought about for ten years. Of course, there are a few clunkers, especially Carman's "Serve the Lord." However, there are some all-time classics that deserve to be heard again and again, including Rich Mullins' "Awesome God," Steven Curtis Chapman's "The Great Adventure," DC Talk's "My Will," and Chris Rice's "Deep Enough to Dream."
It seems to me that the first disc is much stronger than the second. In any case, this is good stuff, and I'd recommend it to anyone who is willing to tolerate a somewhat dated sound but who wants to worship with some classic tunes from the great decade of the 90's.
- I only wanted to write a review because this WOW was SO GREAT!!! It includes the best songs from the 90s on 2 discs! ALL of the songs were wonderful, but my particular favorites were . . .
- Keep the Candle Burning
- Awesome God
- People Get Ready
- Great Adventure
- That's What Love Is For
- Place In This World
- God Is In Control
- Shine
- Jesus Freak
- I Will Be Here For You
- Where There Is Faith
Believe me . . . those ARE certainly the best songs! I found this WOW one of my favorites, and I'm sure you will too once you buy it (which should be as soon as possible) - you will REALLY love it like I did!!
- All I realy can say is wow. I realy like the music that was put together on this CD. I'm using Steven curtis Chapmans song I will be here for my wedding.

5 comments about WOW 2001.
- Contemporary Christian music involves such a varied range of styles and mood that to offer a fair and enjoyable sampling is a tough task. In the past, the songs released on WOW anthologies have been conservative at best, profiling mostly the mainstream pop samples of the industry's top artists. With WOW 2001 (and its equally enjoyable 2002 successor -- which is why my review of this and 2001's issue are pretty similar), listeners who prefer their music a little louder and more energetic are, at last, given attention! The heavier tunes are mostly centered within one disc, whereas the more mainstream pop tunes on the other. This is an excellent idea, as people can have a "favorite" of the two discs based on their style. The songs flow extremely well together, and you're left with the sense that much care was taken to make this an overall enjoyable, and educational experience. It's a nice feeling to be able to praise God while at the same time slapping your hands on the steering wheel!
- I think this cd was kindof a dissapointment. Fo one thing, the dc talk song there. I ean, that song is ok but it was made in 1998. And the P.O.D. song? They should hve put more rocky songs on this cd. This cd is 2001's most forgotten hits to me. I mean, they could have at least put a better P.O.D. song on it. P.O.D. is second favorite band. And whenIheard they were on it, i was s excited. Then i got really mad when i heard it. I think wow 2002 is the best ne yet. I'm not sure about 2003 because i haven't heard it yet.
- All I can say about this cd is WOW!! Another great mix of Christian songs. You will love it!!!
- I ws looking at the cover of my mom's WOW 2001, and then I looked at the track listing. Then it hit me, something is wrong here. On the front it says, "The Year's 30 Top Chrisitan Arists & Hits." If you're going to be honest, call it The 30 best CCM (emphasized) hits. The hardest it gets is POD & Earthsuit. The two from them are ulrta-calm considering the rest of the albums that they came off of.
Maybe they could sneak in "Treasure" from tree63, the 2000 Dove Rock Album of the Year winners.(its really pretty soft, though) How about something from Pillar's "Above," 2000 Hard Rock CD of the year? How about something like "Unsaid" from MXPX's "The Ever-Passing Moment." MORE ROCK TRACKS, & THESE WILL MAKE MY WISH LIST!!! -christianrockfreak
- It must have been the year for Christian music. So many of these songs are classics! For a new listener to Christian music, these songs were quite palatable for me, who was use to to pop, Top 40 type songs.
I would list my favorites but there are so many. There's a mixture of pop, dance, urban, gospel, A/C, rock, latin and I think country-flavored songs. Go for it! Buy it!
