1. This is a great CD with many wonderful songs that are familiar to me from decades ago. I was truly blessed while listening to Walter Hawkins and the Love Alive Choir sing "Going Up Yonder." It was reminiscent of my choir days of the past. Oh, how I miss them.



2. If you like old fashion gospel music, this is the cd to have. It is the type of music I was raised on. Great variety from great singers. I would recommend this cd for listeners.Gospel's Top 20 Songs of the Century



3. This is one of a couple of Gospel recordings where I enjoyed the great majority of the selections. My favorites are "Order My Steps", "Center of My Joy","Speak to My Heart", and "Going Up Yonder". The selections consider all age groups, are pleasant to the ear, and I truly felt that I received two CDs for the price of one.



4. The reason I could not give this collection 5 stars is because it's
   named Gospel's Top 20 songs of the century and omits too many artists and styles of gospel music. Where is Mahalia Jackson?
   Where are the Mighty Clouds of Joy? How about Kirk Franklin,
   Yolanda Adams, the Soul Stirers? It should only be one disc,
   the songs on disc 2. To their credit, these appear to be the original artists singing their songs.
   But it should be called "Gospel Pioners" without the number 20.

1. This CD is even better than I expected. It has all the great songs that put me into worship mode again and again. The songs say what I feel. I recommend it to everyone.



2. A mixture of Southern gospel sung by some of the very best voices that ever sang. This CD brings back memories of the days when an old school, or retired 'grayhound' bus would pull into our church parking lot and I would watch joyfully as these rhythm makers arrived to make our hearts sing praises to God. I pray that this type of happy music will always be around to, "make a joyful noise unto the Lord"!



3. When they say the top 20 they weren't kidding. If you use a MP3 player while walking or exercising you will love listening to this. This is a really great album. Also introduces you to some gospel groups you may not have heard of. Buy it you'll like it!



4. This is the best CD I've ever bought in my 40+ years! If you love southern gospel, you'll like this CD.

1. This is a wonderful collection of rich traditional & contemporary gospel music. The only negative thing I gave to say is I wish this particular album would have had about 14-16 more songs and was a dual-cd.

2. This is one of the most awesome cd's I've ever listened too! I couldnt stop playing it.. and I still cant! This cd has the best songs on it and everyone of them (well most) came all close to my likings! I loved this cd and I cant wait (and hope) when a 2006 one comes out! If you're looking for a really good Christian Rock cd for someone... this is the one!



3. This CD is one of the greatest compilation CDs EVER! And I burn a LOT of CDs. All the songs are presented on good order, easily transitioning into the other. the CD sound quality itself is awesome. I definitely give this a 10 of 5.

5. i was very disappointed with this cd. x:2004 was great! what happened? most of the songs arent good at all. and 'open wounds'? that song is like 2 years old! 'sooner or later'? though thats a great song, that song is like 6 years old. the bonus tracks are the best part of the cd.

1. I ordered this CD for my grandaughter who loves Praise Music. After her mother gave her the cd - she quickly opened it and put it in her cd player and then she placed her headphones on her ears and closed her eyes and began to sing the songs that are on this cd. Prior to her receiving this cd, she would sing the songs all the time but now she really sing the songs. She told me "Grandma" you are the best Grandma in the world, I love you but I love Jesus More and I really love Jesus because I sing praises to Him and I prayed to Him and thanked Him for my grandma. She's 9 years old.
   
   Well, with this said.... We give it 100000000 stars! This is an awesome CD and my granddaughter and I recommend it to anyone who loves JESUS!

   i realy engaged with God and the sound and kids singing is just so so beautiful. hearing how kids my age can worship God in that way is just amazing. funky music, funky lyrics, a fantastic cd! u'd be crazy to miss out this opportunity to worship God in this unique and fun way!!!!

1. Well worth the money. I am so happy I purchased this one. I love the variety of artists on the album. And, the songs are really uplifting.

I like this song, especially the halleluiah part, I feel very blessed singing, our group are trying to sing it during our outreach programme, but we are trying to find the lyrics of the song so we could sing it, we love the halleluiah part as it makes us feel very close to God, my big sister bought the cd but it doesnot have the words. so even though we dont know all the words we love and enjoy singing it.



3. This album has everbody on it: Yolanda Adams, Oleta Adams, A grip of Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond, Shirley Caesar, ect, ect. The list goes on and the album is tight...in the pocket. A flavor for everyone, Get it, sit back and get yo praise on... fo-shou...

1. I loved the songs selected for this CD, however, the richness of the audio is lacking tremendously. If you like your music to sound like AM radio--buy it. If not, you will be disappointed in the lack of sound quality. Very disappointed in the sound quality.
