5 comments about Dance & Sing: The Best of Nick Jr..
- Over all a good c.d.. We our mostly noggin watchers than nick jr but the theme tunes on the c.d are the shows that are on noggin.
The nick jr filler songs by a charcter named face my daughter and I don't know so my daughter is less intrested in those songs but great to have the songs my daughter loves to sing to, when they come on t.v
- This CD is a good compilation of Nick Jr songs-- especially some of the older shows that are no longer aired. My older daughter particularly likes this-- it helps her remember shows like "Gulla, Gulla Island"-- it was a favorite! My younger daughter likes the catchy tunes, and lyrics from Face and Blue. Its a hit with us!
- My Children Love this disc, my daughter runs around with it asking me to play it.
- My three and one year old kids both LOVE this cd. They sing along to their tv favorites and like the ones that are new to them. It's really not too bad for mom and dad in the car either. A WARNING!!! Some of those catchy kids tunes will stick in your head all day and you'll find yourself singing "Oranges grow on trees on trees", but it's a small price to pay for peaceful car trips.
- Nick Jr. has been a part of our family since my oldest son Joshua was about 2 years old. I would sit down after breakfast with him and watch the shows that have become part of his childhood memories. Not long after, his sister was born and it wasn't long before she was fascinated with Blues Clues, Dora, Face, Gulla Gulla and many other shows with their easy to understand stories and songs. The children and I would sing and repeat the songs. Actually I would sing and they would listen and laugh. I still don't know what my wife was thinking all these years. Now we have a third child and he really gets into it. But then he's a chip off his old man's shoulder. This CD is great for travel, especially long distances where it keeps children concentrating on the songs instead of distracting me while fighting with each other.

4 comments about Wiggleworms Love You.
- We love the Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago that created this CD (and the original Wiggleworms CD). They are full of fun kids songs that are enjoyable for parents too. We have been listening to these in the car for three years now and the kids still love them!
- I am a Children's Librarian and this is my new favorite CD for storytime! I use the music with babies, toddlers, and pre-k children. The songs are fun-with unique spins on some old classics. The children look forward to the music each week, and love to sing along!
- My son cannot get enough of this CD. He asks for it every single day. The songs are short, fun, interactive, multicultural (several in other languages), and a great alternative to TV (my 2-year old would rather listen to this than watch Teletubbies!!) It has 42 songs and lasts almost an hour. It is not really obnoxious music and even I enjoy it day after day! Give these Wiggleworms a try!
- I have listened to this CD about 100 times (which is amazing because there are 42 tracks!) and I NEVER get sick of it. My daughter loves it too, especially Three Green and Speckled Frogs. There is some amazing Chicago talent on this CD. This CD has become a standard gift for every birthday party we go to. It's a must-buy!

5 comments about Traditional Lullabies.
- I am quite surprised that such a wonderful CD got less than perfect reviews. This is the best lullaby music we have ever heard (and we own other lullabies CDs). We got it before our twins we born and we listened to it for the whole first year. It is so soothing, not only does it help our babies to fall asleep but also creates a magical atmosphere in our home and helps us relax. Everyone who came to see our babies commented how beautiful this music is. It plays for an hour which is the usual time for CD. So what that it does not play all 36 tracks in their entirety? Unfortunately, our CD got damaged (one of my sons figured out how to open the CD player), so I have to order another copy of it.
- Good friends sent us a tape of this CD before our first child was born. The tape is starting to wear out and I was thrilled to be able to find the CD. We have listened to this at bedtime almost every night for over three years. We have another on the way and plan to buy a new CD, one for my sister's new baby, and to use this as a staple "baby-gift." Don't be scared by complaints about misleading numbers of tracks, this compilation is soothing and perfect for nursing or bedtime. Compared to many, many other lullaby CDs we own, this is the only that has stood the test of time for parent and child as it is neither cheesy nor irritating.
- I bought this for my 1st grand child and played it at his mommy's baby shower. it was really nice and calming but nice for everyone to listen to and not obnoxious tones.
- I am so glad that I bought this product I don't know what I would do without it. I play this in our daughter's nursery on Repeat while she is sleeping and she absolutely loves the soothing music. We have done the white noise cd's and for some reason it doesn't work. But as soon as she hears the lullabies cd begin then she calms down and it is just great background music for baby to wake-up to. This cd is heaven for me and baby to listen to and is definately soothing when you are rocking baby. Love this cd, I highly recommend product.
- We bought this CD when I was pregnant with my now 4 year old daughter. She has listened to it every night for 4 years! If we travel and don't bring it with us, she doesn't sleep! Now after 4 years we are going to replace it because it will no longer play continuously on her CD player and we get woken up numerous times a night to turn it back on! If she wakes up and it's not playing she needs us to come in and turn it back on! It's a beautiful CD. My parents even love it! This will be the first time I've ever bought a second copy of the same CD due to overplaying it! Highly recommended!

2 comments about Baby Einstein: Music Box Orchestra.
- I purchased several of the Baby Einstein CD's for my soon to be born grand-daughter. I found them to be calming, soothing, or happy and playful, depending on which CD you are listening to. I would definately recommend these CD's to any mother who might be having a hard time calming a crying baby, to help an infant fall asleep at night or to add just a bit more fun to playtime.
- Our baby loves it! We tried this CD in the car and are now avid roadsters again. This and the other soothing CD "Nursery Lullaby" are the best! Wish we tried it earlier!

3 comments about Disney's Dance-Along.
- The songs are actually good songs - but they seem to be re-recorded. They are not the original songs. The sound quality of the CD is poor - treble seems to be too high and not enough base. I played this on a CD player that has great sound quality with my other CDs, but not with this one.
I am very disappointed in this CD. The sound quality is so awful, we listened to it once, and have never listened to it again. I would not recommend this CD.
- I put this on when a friend was here and we were dancing and having a great time with each song that came up. I'm 56 and I felt like a kid again. There's the twist, the bunny hop, a great polka, the jitterbug and more. Personally, I was pleased that the songs were NOT sung by Disney characters....although the cover to the CD alludes to that. There are just a few quacks from Donald Duck and a tiny bit from Goofy and Mickey, just enough to flavor it. I can see it being fun for all ages. I use many songs with Dancing Hands hand taps, a fun percussion instrument that sounds like tap dancing.
- I am a dance teacher, currently teaching nursery dance (2-1/2 to 3 year olds) and beginner tap and jazz (3 to 5 year olds). This CD is excellent for use in the classroom. The nursery class especially loves to do The Bunny Hop and the Chicken Dance! The older kids really enjoy YMCA, The Swim and Shout! The Twist is popular in all classes. What a great teaching aid!
My 7 year old daughter enjoys doing all of the dances too and we used the music at her birthday party. The kids had a ball. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this CD to anyone.

5 comments about 100 Bible Songs for Kids.
- Real good CDs..It has almost all of the children's song they sing in Sunday School and Bible School. We will use it over and over in our church...
- 100 Bible Songs for Kids and the Bible Songs with stories for Kids was a Wonderfully Blessed Idea!!! Children who ride in my car are captured by the peaceful loving tunes and either fall asleep peacefully singing along or stay awake with a peaceful, giving, and caring spirit reducing any fighting or pouting behaviors!!! Try it!!!
- I bought this for my grandchildren. As I listened to the songs, they reminded me of being in bible school singing these songs and being very happy. The choir is so good and I think children know they are listening to other children singing. It's great, peppy, memorizing music to learn about God's love.
- Great choice of songs - includes all of the popular songs. The kids' voices are cute too. My only complaint is that the tempo could be a little faster. My daughter seems to lose interest a little waiting for the next verse on some songs.
- These cds have all the songs that I grew up with and some new ones too. I love them, and I'm sure my 9 week old son will learn to love them too.

1 comments about Songs for the Car.
- As a modern American family, we spend a *LOT* of time in the car, shuttling from one event to the next. During the commute, we usually have Radio Disney on, which, for the most part, isn't bad. It's "real" music (compared to, say, the Kids Bop series, whose cover versions I find atrocious), but being commercial radio (and one owned by a major entertainment company like Disney) there's a lot of repetition, and a lot of focus on Disney artists. So was I happily surprised when I stumbled on this collection. These are all the original versions (except "Teach Your Children," but more on that later), and I knew most of the songs, so I was taking a chance that my kids would enjoy it. Was I relieved when, on a handful of occasions, my kids would go, "Hey, I know this song!"
The CD opens with Madness' "Our House," a fun romp of a tune that I remember growing up and my kids now know as the theme to a coffee company commercial. Smash Mouth's "All Star" my kids know from Shrek, while they remember "Stir It Up" and "Everybody Dance Now" from the "Chicken Little" film. Chuck Berry's "Route 66" was in "Cars," and Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" was the inspiration for the Cheetah Girls' "En Fuego."
"Three Is A Magic Number" and "Teach Your Children" are two tunes from *MY* youth; the former I recall from the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons, while my dad would always crank up Crosby Still Nash & Young's "Teach Your Children" whenever it came on the radio while we were in the car. It's a shame they couldn't get CSNY's version, but Joseph Israel's beachcomber reggae version has a great feel to it, especially during the dog days of August.
James Brown's "Ants In My Pants" is an interesting choice. It's not one I know well, but it's classic James Brown funk (and a welcomed departure from "I Feel Good"). My 10 year old loves it. My 7 year old, however, loves The Temptations, and sings the opening line like a man wounded.
It's fun to hear Hanson's "MMMBop" (which was always a guilty pleasure of mine) in this setting; they give the Jonas Brothers a run for their money. You can hear the seeds of "Year 3000" in this.
The CD closes with a whimsical track from Bobby McFerrin called "Manana Iguana," a little live gem.
Really smartly selected, I catch myself listening to this disc even when the kids aren't in the car. Highly recommended.

5 comments about Charlie and Lola's Favourite and Best Music Record.
- The music from Charlie and Lola's favourite and Best music record is just like the tv show: it's like a collage of sounds (creatively put together) that instantly reminds you of the animated series.
Many of the tracks include dialogues between Charlie and Lola in such a way that they tell you a little story, and the companion music does a perfect job illustrating those stories with sounds: is really nice to hear and at times, fun.
The case contains art like that of Lauren Child's books, and the video included (The Bestest in the Barn) is very pretty and fun to watch.
If you're looking for cheerful, nice, alternative and creative music (suitable for children and even adults) this CD will do the job.
- Our daughter loves this cd. We received it within one week of ordering it. She asks to hear it in the car and dances in her car seat to it.
- We ordered this CD months ago because both my son and daughter ADORE Charlie and Lola and love dancing to the music from the show. Unfortunately, as another reviewer complained, the CD never arrived. An email was sent from Amazon stating that the disc was no longer available.
Please note that I have never heard the CD and I am sure its wonderful, however, I gave it one star due to the apparent mix up on Amazon's part. If anyone else is going to order this CD, I would advise contacting Amazon directly to be sure that the disc actually is in stock.
- We got a notice that it was no longer available. We have been trying to get this CD for a while and were excited to find it available, only to have a notice a week before Christmas that we couldn't get it anymore. Of course our money was refunded, but we'd rather have the CD.
- This is a wonderful cd to have in your children's library. Our kids clap their hands and when they have playtime, they like to have this on in the background. Very nice for road trips too! My husband and I and the kids absolutely love this cd. Charlie and Lola books and cd, and dvd's are so wonderful!

5 comments about Dora the Explorer: Dance Fiesta!.
- I heard this CD at a kid's party and was blown away. It's amazing what you can get to entertain your kids nowadays. My fave was "Rhythm is Gonna Get You." With the exception of Dora being the lead vocalist, it's much like the original as are all of the songs on this disk. Anyone who has kids under 6 or so will love this CD (maybe even more than the kids(wink))
- This CD is very cute with songs inspired from real artists like Gloria Estefan and other Hispanic artists. Dora's voice isn't too annoying and Boots and the Map sing too!
- It was gift for my son's one of friend. She really like it and she dance with music. it's good for girl who likes Dora then lean song too.
- Straight from the source!
My two year old loves this CD. Great at keeping her busy without TV! It's adorable and has lots of music preschool children will enjoy. Recommended.
- A lot of good points, a couple of bad. First, the compilation has a great selection of songs that all fit in with the dance party theme and it makes you want to get up and dance. The songs are great, especially Oye Como Va, We Got The Beat, We Are Family, and La Bamba.
The problems with this cd is that it's retailed too expensive for a 30 minute disc, though it does have a bonus music video to show you that everyone can dance. It also has a bit too much talking on it. Understandably, this is targeted at preschoolers and the shouted encouragement to get up and dance or sing is good, but sometimes tend to overtake the music.
The real only major fault is the tone of Dora's singing. Shrill, thin, a squeaky grating tone that is quite irritating.
However, thumbs up to Boots' voice - lovely! Backpack sings quite well also. Dora's voice is nails on the chalkboard....
