1. Some great bands that are really worth checking out. Algebra one now has a myspace and they are still selling what is ever left of their cds.



2. This cd was pretty good, a couple good songs, a couple crappy ones. My favorite song on the cd, and probably right now is "Fireball" by Algebra One. If anyone knows where I can hear more of them, just write another review or something.



3. Benefit for the foundation fighting blindness. Only 4 bucks and has awesome songs. My favorites were both fifteen songs, the algebra one song and the kid dynamite song, and the weakerthans. Come on! 4 bucks! Benefit the blind! Get it!

1. If you want a CD with poor recording, discordant voices, noisy tracks and generally a pain in the ear to listen to, then this is for you.
   It's somebody's indulgence but music it ain't.
   I can't think why I didn't read the reviews first.
   It's dreadful and my copy is now in the trash !



2. If you're a college radio listener, or and indie fan or even just a bizarre music junkie, how can you pass this up?
   Innovative, if weird, bands and performers singing accepella!
   Like any of these compilations, there are gems and , well, lets just say songs that aren't so gemmy. But who doesnt need a haunting version of La Vie en Rose in their collection?



3. Notice the number of used copies available. This is not at all of the quality of the many other acapella albums I've ordered.



4. Something happens when voices sing out naked without the structure and expectations that accompany intrumental "back up" and arrangements. These voices sound sweet and immediate and will remind many of archival field recordings of blue grass, mountain, and western songs. "La Vie en Rose" is how I wish I sounded when I sing a lullaby to child. This CD is by turns contemplative, rockin', moody...and always interesting. You're unlikely to have anything quite like this in your collection.



5. This cd is a very intereseting listen, all voice no music(well there is some clapping.) Remmeniscent of old dust bowl/depression error music, Of course with a modern twist. Worthy of multiple plays.

3. All I have to say is; this cd ROCKS!! If you're a punk-rock fan (like me) this cd is a MUST BUY! I could go on and on, but I'd bore you to death (I don't wanna do that!) so I'm gonna advise ANY punk fan to go out and buy this cd. An added bonus, it's CHEAP and it's chock full of majorly kick-ass songs! I didn't give it a 5 star rating for nothing! BUY THE CD!!

1. well this is a good cd, but the track listing is all wrong... maybe its from an old edition. If you are not sure you like ska or are trying to find out about some less heard of bands this is a good place to start as is the vagrant records compaltion discs.

2. Hey, drop the 4 bucks on this album, great sample of not-too-famous ska bands, you'll be pleasently surprised. but there are better comps out.



3. The Hippos are absolutely great on this CD!!!! All the bands rock, but the Hippos rocked my brain the most!

1. After I discovered 1995's Skarmageddon,lost it,rebought it,I was slobbering in anticipation with my newfound ability to buy any ska I wanted without running my poor little 1993 Nissan Sentra into the ground,driving all around the midwest.(Yup,I stopped being chicken of buying online)
   After you pop this cd in you will be filled with a resounding, "Oh this is just okay" feeling that you get when you buy a full album of somebody you only like two songs of,like,say..The Exceptions. A few standouts that have that magical weirdness I crave in ska,like "The Irish Singer of Albee Square" come to mind,but overall this is a letdown. Skip right from Skarmageddon one and buy number Three,which is totally,magically awesome.



2. The Skarmageddon series is a great series to listen to if you are into underground ska, and if you are intrested into hearing the up and comming ska bands.

1. Back in the day, hip hop was flourishing and that was undeniable. That time brought out some awesome songs.....all of which are faithfully redone here on this cd. Every track is tight especially "express yourself" and "baby got back". Most of the bands on this cd you may have never heard of, but dont let that keep you from buying this. It is an awesome cd! It was hard to find out where i live, then again i live in ALABAMA! If u have trouble finding it ask the people in the cd store, they will know where to find it. Anyways, this cd is the best Hardcore collection i have ever heard.....Dont delay, buy it today, you wont be disapointed....i promise.



2. This CD is an awesome combination of old school rap and hardcore punk rock. Every track is awesome. You already know all the words since it's from back in the day...so it's fun to listen to all the time. I suggest to anyone that likes old school or punk to get this CD! It's awesome!
