- Excellent punk rock (or speed rock in this case) album. Have you ever wanted a fast-paced,rollercoster like CD? Flatfoot 56's albums are for you. The beats are truly excellent in songs like 'This Town' and 'Knuckles Up'. Highly original styles of music are in this album. Bagpipes? Relentless, raspy voice? Single-note for the drums? Sounds like a recipe for great party music and excercise music. They sound like those indie punk rock bands from the Tony Hawk games. Just MUCH better. A message is in each of the songs. A good, Christian message of course.'Chi-town Beatdown' is the only song that is hard to understand without the lyrics. Buy their album or you'll be missing out on a lot.
- this band is AWSOME live, if you get a chance to see them. i recomend that you doo... If you never heard BAGPIPES live.. WOW!!! i bought this CD to expand my collection of JcHc Punk, and boy WAs it a Great Add.
IF you want to feel like Rowdy Roddy Piper then this is the band. THey did a GREAT cover of AMAZING GRACE~~
If you like Thrash MEtal I reccomend the Crucified, and if you like Hardcore punk check out Early Crucified,
if you need help finding some good tunes message me!!! Crazy Christian CREW! find us on myspace
- This is a band that has a mix style of celtic christian punk oi! Whats not too like. While most mainstreem christian punk groups are actually Punk Pop, this band brings a more disirable sound. A must own for anyone fond of Christian music, the true Punk style, or celtic rock. This is a band with a great sense of humor and a good intention. ENJOY!!!! OI! OI! OI!OI!OI!OI!OI!
- Knuckles Up is an awesome celtic influenced punk CD that most punk fans can enjoy. It's the band's third release and their strongest yet. If you're a Christian looking for a band to replace Flogging Molly or Dropkick Murphys... just listen to what you like! But if you're a fan of good punk music with a strong celtic influence and lyrics that emphasize on brotherhood and faith, than this CD is probably for you! Even if you aren't much of a fan of punk music, I would still recommend this CD, with songs about pirates, and even one about accidentally marrying someone of the same gender, it's just plain fun! You really can't go wrong with Knuckles Up, a fine release from a fine band! 5 Stars and best of luck for Flatfoot!
Also, if you ever get a chance to see them live absolutely go do it! You'll have a good time, I promise.

5 comments about Waking Up.
- If there is any doubt that I'm a Bethany Dillon fan, it's over now. This is an excellent project. I love the sound, and the lyrics are great.
My favorite tracks are "The Kingdom", "Come Find Me", "Let Your Light Shine", "Change", "Tell Me", "Are You Sure", "When You Love Someone", and "You Are On Our Side".
- "Waking Up" by Bethany Dillon is one of those albums that unfortunately got overlooked last year in year-end rankings of the best of 2007. Perhaps she was overshadowed by Britt Nicole, Jessie Daniels or Krystal Meyers and if you like those artists, then you should love Bethany Dillon who is so mature beyond her 18 years. In fact, I'd compare her more to Adie, Nichole Nordeman and Natalie Grant which is saying a lot. Her maturity shows in the power of her songwriting and singing, including love songs to her now husband Shane Barnard of Shane and Shane.
Both of Bethany's first two albums impressed me, particularly her singing voice. I picked up "Waking Up" expecting more of the same and she really took it up a notch in my opinion. From the opening Biblical truth of "The Kingdom" showing Bethany's searching for things of God over materialism right to the sweeping "You Are On Our Side" this is her strongest album to date. For me, the highlights are the title track, "Tell Me", "Top of the World" and my favorite is "Let Your Light Shine" based on Matthew 5:15-16. Great album and great message, I highly recommend it.
- Bethany Dillon, perhaps one of Christian music's most underrated artists, displays the songwriting skills of a Grammy award winner in this beautiful album. Her approach to songwriting is intricate, exposing her personal beliefs tapered by a realistic outlook on life's happenings and a pure love of God. Take one tour through this album and the two best songs are evident almost immediately. "The Kingdom" and "Let Your Light Shine" are reflective of Bethany's contemporary, pop-soul feel.
In "Let Your Light Shine," she has created a beautifully choreographed song featuring a worship feel and incredible lyrics: "The calmer of the sea, here in this room with me, so gently welcoming, the weakest things in me. You are the blood over, the door of my heart, what pain you spared me from, how could I know it, oh wonderful love, you died for me. The power of your life is in me."
In "The Kingdom," a gentle beat keeps the song moving but doesn't take your attention from its meaningful message. Meanwhile, in "You Are On Our Side," Bethany asks simple questions of God that many have asked. But the purity in the message is elegant.
Perhaps most surprising about this album is that Bethany Dillon is only just now 19 years old. You won't be able to tell.
- Bethany Dillon filled the void that was left in me after Jennifer Knapp kinda fell out of the music scene. Bethany's lyrics are passionate, deep and relevant. Her folksy style is relaxing and pulls you in. Although her style has changed a bit in her albums I still love listening to her songs. I think she's great!
- all I can say is "You are on our side" makes me cry every time! This is an amazing cd!

- Love the lyrics & music - haven't listened to any other CD since I got this one. Highly recommend it!
- On her latest album, Tammy Trent manages to be simultaneously musically effervescent and lyrically deep. The production is light and breezy, making this an infectious pop collection that will grab the listener by the ears. The dominant theme is hope shining through the darkness, and Trent, who lost her husband in a 2001 scuba accident, delivers it with authority and compassion. "I'm Letting Go" is a poignant song of surrender, while "You've Already Shown Me" serves to remind us that God amply demonstrates his love. But the centerpiece of this collection is the achingly vulnerable ballad "Edge of the Water," penned by Trent and Alisa Childers. This is powerful music from a survivor who continues to move forward with a sweet spirit and a voice filled with unfailing hope and faith. --Deborah Evans Price

5 comments about Third Day Live in Concert - The Offerings Experience.
- This was filmed at the Hi-Fi Ampitheatre in Third Day's home town of Atlanta, before a packed crowd. Overall, it is a wonderful rock, praise and worship concert dvd, that gives you a good feeling. It begins by showing the band getting ready for the show. The dvd contains some documentary elements in between the song performances. After performing their first few songs, there is documentary tour of their tour bus to let you know what it's like living in a tour bus. Some highlights I noticed included the following: The performance of the song:"You're Everywhere" is an excellent praise and worship song, and the band ends the performance with a prayer thanking Jesus for dying for us,so we can be saved, and praising Jesus for rising from the dead on the Third Day. This is followed by "King of Glory" which continues the praise and worship and includes a prayer by the band of respecting the Name of Jesus. The crowd joins in singing this song. During another documentary break, the band shows and describes their guitars. The performance of "Consuming Fire" contains excellent 3 guitar and bass guitar work. During "My Hope is in You" the band has the audience introduce themselves to each other and are instructed to love each other as Jesus has taught us. The band calls the audience the "Church of God". The praise and worship songs continue, and there is another documentary break, where fans are interviewed as they arrive at the concert. The fans are full of excitement about the rock, praise and worship format of Third Day concerts, plus the fans are excited this concert is in Atlanta, the band's home town. Towards the end of the concert, after the band performs "I have decided to follow Jesus",
the lead singer talks about how exciting it is when the Atlanta Braves win a baseball game. He then states it is exciting that Jesus has won and has defeated our enemy. He quotes some bible verses about following Christ, and leads the audience into singing the song "I have decided to follow Jesus" again. The band leaves the stage with the crowd singing this song. It leaves you with a good feeling. After the concert, the band shares information on the "World Vision" program about helping starving children throughout the world. Overall, this is a great concert dvd, it has some excellent guitar rock music along with a great gospel message.
- Highly recommended for any devoted fans of Third Day. I loved this dvd. It really brings home the sense of "worship" in a real way. It's not as emotionally intense as attending a live Third Day show, but it's great as it's available 24/7. If you purchase this dvd you won't be disappointed.
- Wow, what can I say about this DVD! Makes me want to be there live. But Third Day is probably the best rock band out there, even if they are a Christian band. They been playing together for a while and they can still rock for all you Gomers. This particular DVD has all the classic worship songs from the earlier albums.
Mac Powell has a unique voice, a very distinct tone that could be recognized. Brad Avery is the BEST guitarist/distortionist ever and his skills blow me away. Mark Lee is also a talented and great guitar player also. Tai Anderson is phenomenal on the bass, I being a bass player, try to play his style. And Dave Carr is the drummer and the way he plays is very powerful. Overall great DVD, great songs, and a great band, go and get all their DVDs, like this one, "Come Together", and "Live Wire".
- I've enjoyed Third Day's music since 1997, when I first bought "Conspiracy No. 5," but it was the first "Offerings" album that made me a fan for life. The mix of studio tracks and live recordings on both "Offerings" & "Offerings II: All I Have To Give" made the experience of worshipping God through song come alive like never before. And now that experience has been captured on film for this DVD. Some of the musical highlights include "I've Always Loved You," "King of Glory," "Thief," "My Hope is You," "Agnus Dei" and, of course, "Your Love Oh Lord." The documentary segments are interesting and, at times, hilarious. My only disappointment is that a couple of songs which I would have loved to have seen included weren't, such as the tear jerker ballad "Love Song." And I really would have loved to have seen a live performance of their cover of Bob Dylan's "Saved" (one of my favorite tracks from the first "Offerings" CD). Altogether, "The Offerings Experience" is a great representation of 3D's live show--especially the worship experience.
- The concert displayed a high energy level with good musicianship. The vocals were difficult to understand, however, if you are familiar with Third Day that may not be too distracting. While this displays some of the spiritual delights you will encounter at a Third Day concert, if you really want to experience the music I would suggest their studio albums.....

- Love this one. More than enough excellent songs on this cd to give it the rating it deserves. Its just something about Relient K that i really love and am glad that i found out about and bought this cd by them. As well as their next one as well. Some of the songs that i really enjoyed on the cd are:
"Down In Flames"
"My Way or the Highway..."
"I'm Lion-O" (one of my favs on here)
"May The Horse Be With You"
"Maybe It's Maybeline"
"Sadie Hawkins Dance"
I could go on and on with the songs that i really enjoying on this cd. But its been said many times by others before me. If you have the chance get this CD. Its a good intro to what Relient K started out at and how they've progressed to where they are right now with their current cd.
Great purchase.
- rk's lyrics are real. everyone can relate to the thought and experiences they sing about. "for the moments i feel faint" is truly a comforting song that reminds us that we all need to believe in jesus' power and grace. this truly is a song i will listen to when i feel faint.
- dude i freaking LOVE relient k. this cd is one of their best!
- Yeah, this CD is probably one of their best yet. I especially love "Kick Off", it's really good.
-Albert
- I came across this band on the internet not too long back. In ways this band reminds me of two other bands: The Ramones and Bowling for Soup. What they have in common is energetic music played fast with hilarious lyrics that poke fun at the society we live in. What they don't have in common is that Reliant K is does this without profanity and references to drug use. Where the Ramones celebrated being a pinhead these guys (or should I say kids?) celebrate a life with a direction and purpose. They are unashamedly Christian in many of their songs and they write their lyrics with a wisdom beyond their years. (Were they still in high school when they recorded this record? By the looks of them on the CD cover, I'd say yes!)
They cover in a light-hearted way very serious subjects like eternal life "My Way or the Highway..." how young people should be making good choices "What have you been doing lately?" the need for patience and fortitude in one's life "Breakdown", "Pressing On" and how we need to take responsibility for our actions "Maybe It's Maybeline".
But they also have some silly songs (just like in Vegi-tales) like "Kick-off, Sadie Hawkins Dance, I'm Lion-O and May the Horse Be With You" to just crack a smile on your face.
If your spirit needs a lift this CD will do it in more than one way!!

5 comments about By God.
- I absolutely love this CD. Upbeat metal with lyrics straight out of the Bible. I grew up on secular heavy metal & am a tough "sell" but I love these guys. My favorite song is God of Elija.
I highly recommend this one to all the heavy metal lovers looking for better lyrics.
- Other reviewers have done a good job describing the lyrical content: absolutely straight out of the Bible. This is true.
Musically, Disciple has a pretty good sound going. It really is heavy metal, not just a watered-down wannabe version. The lead singer, Kevin Young, is almost rapping a lot of the time, so if you dislike that it will get annoying after 19 tracks.
The only other criticism I have is that while their songs are good they all sound pretty similar. However, if you like that musical archetype you'll probably enjoy this. In short, a fun album to play in the car.
- First of all, Disciple totally rocks! The majority of the album is full of great heavy metal music that hits hard and will totally fulfill your headbanging needs. The guitar riffs are very original and clever, the drums are very good and fast, and Kevin's vocals combine a lot of screaming, talking, and singing to blend with the music seamlessly.
But even moreso, the lyrics of this album truly shine. These guys are very clearly Christians with a purpose, and that purpose is to bring the Word of God to people through their music in ways that are extremely relevant to today's world. Every one of their songs are completely based on scripture; they even have the verses included with their lyrics. I truly love the fact that these guys are totally open and honest about what they're about; they don't beat around the bush about their faith and to just what their songs are about.
"God of Elijah" is one of the highlights on this album. The song tells the story of Elijah and his showdown with Baal (a false idol) worshippers about just whose God is real (1 Kings 18)..... I really love that story, personally, so it's one of the reasons I love this song. But it really is very good!
Also, some of my other favorites are "By God", "Not Rock Stars", "Blow The House Down", "Coal", "You Are Here", "Whiny Britches", "Hate Your Guts" (they're talking about hating Satan), "Whether They Like It Or Not", "Not Since Breakfast", and pretty much all of the rest of them. This is one of those rare CDs you can just put in and let it go all the way through.... it's really that good!
Also, there is a great "power ballad" type of song on here in "Thousand Things" that is really beautiful, but yet still has an edgy rock feel.
All in all, this CD is really just incredible. They put their hearts into it and you can tell they really gave it all they had. I mean there are 20 songs on the album (1 hidden track), that's way more than you normally get on a CD!
If you're looking for some really good (and intense) Christian rock music to listen to, check this one out. They provide a good message in every song as well as some awesome, heavy music. Check it out! I hope you love it as much as I do!
- A must have for all christians who love hard rock!I have only heard samples of this on but i love what i herd! you gotta check it out!
- 19, count 'em, 19 tracks, ladies and gentlemen, of slammin' hard rock music with no-compromise riffs AND unapologetic Christian lyrics, often done in an imaginative way, but always in your face. a friend gave me this a while back, and for the longest time I just dealt with the first eight or nine tracks -- songs dealing with Elijah's battle with the false prophets, the perils of 'rock stardom,' the work of Jesus... lyrically creative and personally honest, the songs usually focus around minor-keyed crunchy guitar riffs, and the lead vocalist's singing and/or screaming. plus, excellent bass and drum work abounds. (like another product reviewer has said, it's all done very well musically - no 'amateur hour' band timing or production values here.) there are a couple of slower songs to break it up, then it rips back into musical high gear and flat-out proclamation - "I'm not ashamed of the Gospel" indeed. Even has an 'invitation' song on it... No longer musical epics like on "This Might Sting A Little," but a kick-butt album all the same. I wish I would've had this CD a few years back when someone I met complained there weren't any Christian rock records out there worth listening to...

5 comments about 22 Great Songs of Faith.
- This couple sings many wonderful hymns that are easy to sing with. Their harmony is unbelievable. This is a "must have" for anyone that enjoys well-loved hymns.
- very good cd - can't understand why more cd's aren't available for these two.
- This is a fantastic collection of hymns sung by two great people, Guy and Ralna. Listening to Ralna solo on "My Tribute" is alone worth five stars and more. The arrangements are simple, yet beautiful!! This CD is awesome and inspiring!
- Many, many (many), moons ago, my parents had a particular 8-Track album that I just loved to play. I had never heard of the singers, Guy and Ralna, although I suppose I had seen them on "The Lawrence Welk Show", a staple in our house. The album was a collection of religious songs, but who cared? The cassette was a bright neon blue color, and I loved to put on our giant headphones and sing along with the artists (I particularly liked "Church in the Wildwood"), right through the inescapable "ka-CHUNK!" of the 8-Track skipping to the next track in mid-song.
"Just a Closer Walk With Thee", "How Great Thou Art", "What a Friend We Have in Jesus", "Whispering Hope", and the kids favorite, "Put Your Hand in the Hand", just sounded so mellow and yet so fun that I didn't care or even notice the religious elements. The music wasn't pushy, and was just so nice to sing along to. After a recent trip home, I came across that same, battered, blue, 8-Track cassette, and decided to look online to see if the album had made the migration to CD. Unfortunately, the album does not exist in that format yet, but this particular collection has just about all of the same songs, so I went ahead and bought a copy. Beyond the fun nostagic trip of hearing these songs again, one is also aware of the nostalgia of simpler times. There's an almost naiive goofiness in an album like this (at least post 9-11), which is evident not only in Guy and Ralna's hairstyles, but in the almost artificial purity of every note they sing. It calls to mind the days of The Carpenters, Captain and Tennille, Donny and Marie, The Osmonds, and all of their contemporaries. And the "Lawrence Welk Show", of course. The songs still sound great, and are light enough not to be oppressive or "preachy"; just some Believers singin' their hearts out, and you can't fault that.
- THIS CD IS VERY GOOD AND THE SONGS ARE DONE BEAUTIFULY! THE SOUND ISN'T AS GOOD BECAUSE OF THE AGE OF THIS ALBUMN. I HAPPEN TO LOVE THIS CD AND ALSO OWN A CASSETTE OF IT. BUY IT! YOU WILL GET GREAT JOY FROM HEARING IT.

- Go Fish started out as an acapella group but when they signed to Inpop Records they wanted them to add some music. They dont lose anything with this transistion. Still great harmonies and great lyrics. These guys make a great album as their Inpop debut. Some really Great songs like "Thats What Amazes Me" "Youre My Little Girl" and a bonus track of the Christmas song "Silent Night."
- I have wanted Infectious for a while and now I finaly have it. But before I got it my friend's older sister got it. We would sit in thier mud room and listen to 'Watch me go' and 'Your my little girl'. They were my favorite then.....and now. Although I love them all.
I See you 5/5
Until the stars fall 3/5
That's what amazes me 5/5 - slow but still a favorite
Infectious 5/5 - upbeat and fun
Watch me go 100/5
Clover leaf park 5/5
Your my little girl 100/5
What Mary didn't know 5/5
Intro to You remind me 3/5 - funny but not a favorite
You remind me 4/5 - better than the intro
Lord I give you me 4/5
Silent Night 5/5
Hope this was helpful!
- I stumbled across this CD by chance. I'm glad I did. Go Fish has music that is upbeat and has a feel good prescence to it. "I See You" is the best piece on the CD. Admittedly I find myself listening to this one over and over. Christian undertones are encouraging and relevant to believers. "Watch me Go" is light and has an easy beat to enjoy and you pick up the lyrics too. Enjoy, I have.
- "Infectious" is the dawn of a new day for typically acappella group Go Fish, and they seize the fresh opportunity with a flourish and enthusiasm that's contagious. Though die-hard Go Fish fans will notice a most definite difference in the music because of the added instruments, one can easily see that despite the change Go Fish has retained their special zest that gives their music life. "Are you gonna wait till the stars fall from the sky" to get this CD? Hopefully not, because it's worth hearing. From their remakes of "What Mary Didn't Know" and "You're My Little Girl" (good, but originals are best) to their "I See You" and the upbeat "Infectious", Go Fish displays their talent for writing poignant lyrics and teaming them with the ideal melody. Some of the songs were written from a very autobiographical point of view, including "I See You." "Watch Me Go" was a "direct result of [go fish] signing [their] first record deal down in Nashville", and "Cloverleaf Park" was written by Jamie for his wedding- a beautiful song that displays total commitment and love to one's spouse. "The artist creates his masterpiece from nothing", and with the assistance of the master artist, that's just what Go Fish does with "Infectious".
- This is a must have, for all you Go Fish fans. For those who haven't heard of Go Fish but love Christian music this is one you'll love. Most of the people I know that like FFH really like this group too. This is one of the few CDs I own that I love every song on the CD. For those that love acapella Go Fish also has a few acapella CDs. The one called "Out of Breath" is awesome and has two of the songs from the "Infectious" CD on it, only in acapella.

5 comments about Amy Grant - Greatest Videos 1986-2004.
- Amy Grant is an 80s Christian pop singer whose music I enjoy.
This DVD is a good collection of her greatest hits. It covers her career from her roots in Christian music to her pop crossover success.
- This music video has of all the high quality videos she has made through the years.
- What fun to go back and see some good music videos! I enjoyed seeing her work, although the sound was not the best, kind of muffled at times. Where have the good videos that used to be made gone?? Definitely would recommend for Amy Grant fans.
- This is a good compilation of Amy Grant's best videos. I watch it from time to time to bring back good memories.
- This is a collection of Amy's videos from 1986 to 2004. The videos from the albums 'The Collection', 'Lead Me On', and 'Heart In Motion' are included and were superb videos during their release that got heavy rotation on VH1, MTV, etc. These are the best videos on the dvd.
The videos from the album 'House Of Love' lacked in production even during their time of release and never got much rotation on VH1, MTV, etc. The video from her duet with Peter Cetera "Next Time I Fall" was a hit on MTV back in its day. The video for "Simple Things", which was never picked up by VH1 or MTV, but nicely done, is also included.
Watching these videos reminded me how fast style and technology in videos can change.
The (remix) tracks are on the dvd, not on an extra bonus cd.
Amy's commentary, on the videos, is included.
For a more timeless viewing experience, I recommend buying Amy Grant's live-in-concert dvd "Time Again."
