- This has to be Tobymac's best CD! His music is happy music and has a great meaning. His words keeps my focus where it should be. He's an upcoming artist I hope to hear and see more of.
- I just realized lots of his album covers as well as DC Talk's are blatantly showing their free masons belonging.
Toby Mac is an Illuminati (high ranked free mason like Jay-Z and so many others that r part of our daily lives. The Portable Sound cover is the very obvious symbol of the pyramid and the all seeing eye (stylized of course). This symboil is everywhere: Eiffel Tower, back of 1 dollar bill, Israel Logo etc... You can google "illuminati architecture"
You can see the all seeing eye in DC Talk covers as well, go to Amazon for some blatant examples:
[...]
Once you know how to recognize free masons symbols you will see it's everywhere (like CBS logo, the all seeing eye)...all this helps those satanists to recognize each others.
Friends let's wake up! Christianity is being infiltrated (and has always been) by satanists like Billy Graham, Benny Hinn and co. You can recognize them by their symbols which is their secretive way to show their fellows that they r part of the same fraternity.
Do your research while Internet is still available.
Thx for reading.
BTW I loved that album Portable Sound, but I cant listen to it knowing he's a satanist and globalist ("one world, one love etc..")
Hope it helps discern the wolfs in sheep disguise. As disappointing as it may seem i would advise you to throw any free masons (as far as it is recognizable) away. I will do so soon. Even P.O.D. one of my favorite band is utterly satanist in their covers (like Fundamental Elements album)
God bless, and don't forget Jesus Christ is the only real light and hopw for humanity. Don't be fooled by this world.
- Another fun and quality album by Toby Mac.
As a teenager I enjoyed DC Talk, but am so glad that Toby Mac went solo. I have enjoyed all of his albums, as well as many of his concerts. I have a hard time listening to kiddie music, so I love it that my 3-year old would rather listen to Toby Mac than her music. :)
- First off he throws down a song unlike any Christian artist. I am new to the Tobymac music this year and can tell you I love it. His sound/genre seems to change depending on the song.
If 311/limpbizkit/blackeyedpeas/Rancid etc were Christian artists and you rolled them up into one. This is what you get. I would like to see him release more music like this album and Diverse City.
His remixed cds are also very good, which is rare in the remix world of bad cds.
-
I love every single song on this CD especially the last..."I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY SOUL". Doesn't get much better than this.

- Relient K fans, do NOT pass this up just because it is an EP release. It is a good deal: twenty-six songs for nine dollars. But this is also a great release!
Remember the whimsical lyrics of "Anatomy of the Tongue in Cheek" and "Two Lefts Don't Make a Right... But Three Do" for which you fell in love with them, and then imagine that combined with the excellently matured sound of their latest main release, "Five-Score and Seven Years Ago," and you're headed in the right direction. If you thought that "MmmHmm" was their greatest album ever then our tastes differ and therefore you might want to disregard this review. If, however, what I wrote above appeals to you, then I doubt you will regret this purchase. I even found one of those rare personal "greatest song ever" songs in "Curl Up and Die."
One caveat: the free acoustic version of the first track (Where Do I Go) is better than the one included on the CD in my opinion. Relient K used a web hunt of sorts to point you to the MP3s, but if you don't want to work for your free downloads then just search for "Relient K scavenger hunt" on [...] and you should be able to find someone who has already done the work for you.
- so before i begin i will say that ive followed relient k since they first came to be and that i've always liked their music.
in this cd you do get a whole lot for a whole little.
26 tracks! for only 7.99 when i bought it. this cd a has a lot to offer. while there are a lot of tracks, however, many of these are very short and seem unplanned. it includes acuostic versions, (my favorite being be my escape) many songs that are new, and many songs that are on previous EP's that are very dificult to get a hold of. This cd is like a mash up of every time matt thiessen decided to record some thing and you will see evidence of this in songs like "A Penny Loafer Saved is A Penny Loafer Earned"
I would say that its a good buy for any relient k fan new or old. But dont expect to like the whole thing right away. You will have to get into it.
- This CD is awesome. It is not what I expected from Relient K because it's not filled with catchy songs that make you want to dance about. The songs are unexpectedly good because they are very organic and the lyrics are heart-felt. Plus you get twice the amount of songs as a normal Relient K CD.
- I can't ever imagine Relient K getting better than their latest CD and every time they come out with a new CD I am amazed that they have done it again. This CD is excellent and the alternate versions of previously heard songs are just as good. All Relient K fans, and even those who are not, need to go buy this CD today!
- Not only are there many RK songs on here that are new, there are a few that are acoustic remakes of some of their more popular songs, including "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been". You gotta love that!

- This CD is absolutely wonderful. Natalie is such a talented and inspiring artist. I would highly recommend this album.
- some really powerful songs, with inspiration and a good mix of tunes. I really enjoy this cd and is now one of my current favorites. It's my first cd from Natalie and I don't regret my purchase at all.
- Natalie Grant is amazing ! The music is so very moving and emotional. Excellent songs.
- First I must say that I am so happy that I purchased this CD. To me Natalie Grant is worship waiting to happen. She opens her mouth and you can't help but be moved. The sincerity with which she sings has truly touched me. I've only had the CD for a few weeks but I have listened to it a few dozen times. I fill as if God has spoken to me in just about every song on the CD. Each song, in my opinion, has been written and sung to touch your heart and make you think. This CD has made me want to fight to make my faith stronger and just be a better Christian. I feel the music on this CD was made for this time in my life. If you haven't purchased a Natalie Grant CD before this one is a good place to start. If you just judge it for yourself you will not be disappointed.
- Amazing.
From the first to the last note, this album hits all the right chords. Enjoy!

- These guys are fresh and completely sold out for Jesus. I can't wait for their next offering!
- I will say this album rocks. If you like good music that is not too hard and not too soft then check it out. I double dog dare you as this will bless your socks off...Washed by teh Water is one of the hits off this album that is a smash hit along with a bunch of others. They have a great live performance that you should see. See it because it is a different concert. Especially when they do an accustic show after as an encore. It will blow your mind to watch these guys do what they do best: Play great music and worship the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
- Absolutely my new favorite. The music, the lyrics, their style ... I had only heard one song from this CD prior to making the purchase and it has been in my player since I received it. All tracks are very good. I highly recommend it regardless of your favorite type of music!
- What a talented group! I love this CD from beginning to end. This is one of those rare CD's wherein there is not a bad song. I recommend it to family and friends and often I just simply buy it for them. :-) No need to suggest...just give.
- Very solid album but certainly not as good their first which is OK considering that Daylight was certainly the best christian rock album of the decade so far and perhaps the best rock album period. The songs are stylistically more pop than rock on this one and more homogenous; their isn't quite the sonic variety on The Heat. Instrumentally, the rhythm section seems to be less active, but the keyboard work, while more prominant than I might have wanted, is really interesting. The first two tracks probably represnt the most variety and are the highlight of the album. Everything after that sounds pretty good, but after a few songs, you have to look down at the display to see how many different songs you've actually heard.
I heard someone give an interview recently talk about the sophomore slump by saying that it makes sense that 2nd albums aren't as good as debuts because bands spent their whole lives putting together their first album for a label and are then pressured by that label to put the second one out in eighteen months or less in the midst of near-constant touring to promote the first one. I think that accounts for the lack of variety, and maybe there's one other reason; more of these songs seem to be an effort to create a single rather than just a great song. Still, an album well worth a listening to.

- I just love this cd! i am new to Christian music and just started listening to it on the radio. i wanted to get some of my own and i know almost every song on this cd! this is a great CD and very inspirational! i find myself singing these songs while i am running down the road! very upbeat and wonderful! this was a great purchase!
- Awesome sound, awesome lyrics. And, if I'm correct it's their debut CD. Never gets old.
- I really like this Christian group. This is one of their first albums with some really good songs that have been around for a while.
- a new generational wave of music that brings the heart of worship to the forefront. Life is getting tougher and these songs speak to how we feel as God directs our life. How it is when He is number one despite who we are!
- I really enjoy Casting Crowns. They sing about real life circumstances and lean on the Lord while having a more modern-upbeat sound that kids and adults will enjoy (light rock'ish'). I put both of their cds right onto my ipod and have been listening to them ever since...

- I really wanted this CD and ordered it last month... but it still hasn't come. I'm kinda bummed out. I hope it comes eventually...
- this cd proves that skillet hasnt changed a lot from their first cd, they continue to make decent music with good lyrics. best songs: comatose, the older i get, whispers in the dark and looking for angels.
- A lot of good songs on this CD, several of them hits. If you like hard rock CCM you will probably like this CD. Along the same line as Kutless.
- Not nearly as good as I had anticipated. I have been a Skillet fan for years, I own all of their albums, I have been to several live shows, and I love the guys and girls in this band for their integrity and honest lyrics. That is one of the two major problemss I have with this album. Lyrically, there is some good stuff here, BUT at certain points, the lyrics get really vague. It leaves me wondering who we are talking about, a girlfriend or God. Secondly, I have some problems with a couple of the songs just being far too...like Nickelback. For me, this similarity of sounds is not cool. I cannot stand Nickelback, but "Older" and "Goodbye" sound eerily similar (Nickelback's producer did handle these songs, so I guess that is why). Nevetheless, I did enjoy Rebirthing, Comatose, Better than Drugs, and Whispers, as well as a couple of others. However, my gripes with the lyrical and musical content were enough to lower my ranking. I will be hoping for a better effort next time.
- This was my intro to Skillet. I ate it up at first, but I don't really like it anymore. The lyrics are pretty simple and straightforward, but they're delivered with passion- probably why I'm rating this album 2 stars. The music is also pretty basic, but it's been processed too much for me to tell if there's any real feeling behind it. "Whispers in the Dark" is a decent song, but the others would fall flat on their faces compared to the bands older stuff. If you want to get something by Skillet, start with either their debut album or "Alien Youth", both of which are quite good. Avoid this album and "Collide" until you have those two- they'll paint a very inaccurate picture of a very talented band.

- Loved every song on this CD! By far the best CD that has come from any American Idol contestant!
- Sorry to have to say it, but in my opinion this album ain't that great. I was excited to see Chris Sligh's music being sold on the Christian circuit but a little dissapointed in how safe it is played off as being a Christian album. If there are any Christian themes within the lyrics it's very subtle, but it's art and it's whatever you make out of it so thats not really a big deal. But then I was even more dissapointed with the music. American Idol fans might enjoy this record but I personally did not. To me it sounds like a cheesy pop parody of an American Idol soundtrack. It's like the main purpose of the album was to use as background music for the show. I have to wonder if some big shot producer just made the album and told Chris Sligh to sing it giving him no leeway whatsoever. With Sligh's image I was expecting either a punk influenced record or at least something hard rock. I was hoping Chris Sligh would be this big breakout artist who would be a refreshing depart from the mundane pop rock that is out there right now. But Running Back To You is none of those things. Instead, it sounds like an over-produced pop rip off of Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson. Some of the melodies are catchy but that is about it.
- I've been a Chris Sligh fan since his days on American Idol and was so excited to see his first professionally produced (by Brown Bannister, no less) solo album enter the arena.
The songs are wonderful (every single one!), and I catch myself singing them days after I've listened to the album. I think my favorite is "Empty Me," but I really love them all. And his voice! What can I say about his voice? It just gets me every time.
Some of the songs are favorites of mine that have been remixed from his first album with his band Half Past Forever and have been polished to the point of perfection. (To be honest, I really loved the roughness of the Half Past Forever album and would've been happy even if this album wasn't quite as smooth.)
I hope you will buy this album and I also hope you'll treat yourself to the album by Half Past Forever, which I'd give six stars if I could. The soaring ballad, In A Moment, while wonderful on his new solo album, just makes you want to weep in its original version.
(review by Mrs. Scott)
- This is a good CD for traveling in the car. I'm kind of new to the jazzy thing but this is a good one. I always look for something that I can understand the words and this comes through good.
- Loved Chris when he was on Idol but his full "potential" was never revealed by the show. This CD is the real Chris Sligh! Keep going Chris. Put out more of this for us, loved it!!!

- I really like Hillsong Music, and this CD is the best of them all. Listening to the songs just transforms the atmosphere to one of Worshiping God.
Thanks.
- In this live release from Hillsong United, they introduce a unique concept in creating the cd from a conglomeration of concerts held around the world. From Australia to America, Brazil to Berlin, Scotland to South Korea, some of the best songs from this multi-talented group are melded in a seamless fashion so that it sounds many times like one consecutive concert. Worship leaders such as Joel Houston, Marty Sampson, Scott Ligertwood, Reuben Morgan, and Hillsong newcomer Brooke Fraser, among others lead in a variety of heart felt worship songs as well as straight up rock worship.
Since purchasing this album a few months ago I've listened to it a great deal on a weekly basis. Disc 1 and 2 have differing feels to them but both have great worship songs.
The album includes many popular songs such as "Mighty to Save," "From the Inside Out," "The Stand," as well as newer songs such as "You'll Come." A couple songs also incorporate a Spanish element such as "Fuego de Dios" and "Shout Unto God" which are very cool and provide a sense of worldwide worship.
I highly recommend the album; you will not be disappointed.
- This album is great because it shows how people around the world can all come together and worship God. No there are no new songs but that's not important
- I like the setting, with the crowd getting involve and stuff :) Overall, it's a nice compilation of praise songs. Only reason I don't give 5 starts simply because I would prefer a harder song nothing more... Get one!
- I think Hillsong really knows how to lead people to praise and worship God. Bless them.

5 comments about The Beautiful Letdown.
- Every song on this is wonderful. So much so that my wife and daughter are going to use "This is Your Life" as a lyrical dance number for their dance troupe they currently take at a dance company. The Christian radio station I listen to still plays "Dare You To Move" so I guess recordings since that CD haven't been up to par with The Beautiful Letdown. My only criticism is that the lyrics could be more specific to Jesus as they are a Christian band but they are appealing to a wider audience.
- I've always been a fan of Switchfoot from their very first album, and this is no different. Wonderful!
- All the songs are great especially "Dare You to Move", one of our favorites!! Worth every penny!
- I will be buying some more Switchfoot. That is about as good as review as I can give.
- When this album came out back in 2004, I thought is was the greatest thing ever. Now? Not so much, in fact, all the songs I thought were good, not so much. The songs I didn't like, I love.
But I do have to give credit to their guitar guy, some songs like "Meant To Live" would have been terrible without that opening solo. In fact, "This Is Your Life" isn't that great either. It might have good lyrics, but the musical quality is not so great. The opening part to that is just strange, future of music channeling is what I call it.
"More Than Fine," "Gone," "Adding To The Noise," are a bunch of great little ditties, and really should make up more of Switchfoot playlist, instead of the harder stuff. Lyrically and musically "Gone" is a real winner, however, it should also have been the last song about materialism. I mean really, can the guy write about anything else? That's one of the reasons their last two albums haven't been good, it's all about materialism. They should have just stopped here.
"24," and "On Fire" are great ballads, and amazingly the band excels here, making these the highlights of the album, especially "24." Why can't the band make more of songs like these? These songs are gems, and shunned gems at that.
The rest of the album isn't that great, filler material, including the title track. Overall, I like about half the album. The rest is throwaway. Sorry, Switchfoot, you could have done better. What's sad is this is their best album. Having said that, the album does have it's high moments, and depending on what you think of them, I would definitely recommend it.

- Elvis is great ,evey song was very inspirational, i am real pleased with this cd.
- There are 3 disks in this "complete gospel" album. While some are wonderful, many are poor as they were only "jamming" sessions and outside of Elvis' vocal range. I'm glad I didn't buy the recording and pay full price.
- My grandfather likes it very much. He just transitioned to cds with his new truck.
- This is Elvis at his best with the music he loved. With each song, you feel the emotion he sang with. This 3 cd set is the best. I highly recommend it, and to even to those who have never followed his music will feel his love.
- Singing Gospel Music. It's what Elvis loved the most, and what he did better than any mortal who ever lived on this earth. This incredible 3 CD set has every Gospel song ever done by the King - The 1 EP, three LPs, live performances, rehearsals, jam sessions. No one could do Gospel Music better than Mr. Presley & of all the various genres (rock, country, ballads, blues, etc.) Gospel was what he loved the best. I could listen to this music around the clock & it would never get old. Whether atheist or Bible Believer - YOU NEED THIS MUSIC - you'll never be the same. Thank you Elvis!!
