1. De lezers van Christianity Today verkozen veteraan Ashley Cleveland tot Best Female Vocalist. Eerder kreeg ze dezelfde titel met een Grammy. Met haar 2006 release, Before The Daylight¹s Shot, dat ik helaas pas kortgeleden aanschafte (had ik eerder moeten doen!) mag ze van mij zo weer die titel krijgen. De rauwe bluesrock past haar als een leren jack. Of het nu de remake van Stevie Wonder's Higher Ground, de bijbelse geschiedenisles van Queen of Soul of de ingetogen I Need Jesus, de titeltrack of de Streams of Mercy zijn, de CD is geweldig. Andere toppers zijn Ready or Not, Satisfied with Drowning en Leon Russell's Roll Away the stone. De waarheid blijft eenvoudig: "Wrestle with the devil, that's a losing game/ Baby, run for the blessing now/ He'll come back to you by a different name/ Run for the blessing now." Met manlief Kenny Greenberg andermaal als producent, hoop ik dat Cleveland het zingen en gitaarspelen nog jaren volhoudt!

1. First off I only purchased this DVD beacuse 1. I love all the bands on it. 2. I wanted to see the vids in good quality instead of in crappy Youtube quality. & 3. its only like $6 or whatever, so I thought I'd continue to support my favourite Christian Metal Record Label. lol....
   
   Theres nothing special about this DVD its very straight forward, just music videos. The videos at hand are as follows:

   Now, I love Underoath but its seems to be very flooded with their vidz. And I would tollerate it a bit more if there were more vidz by other bands on here. Solid State has a killer line up of bands, and I would just like to see more variety.
   Now by no means are these some of the most amazing videos ever put to film, but if you like the bands and you like the songs.... then its definatly worth purchasing! My too fave's on this baby are Demon Hunter's "Undying", and Norma Jean's "Absentimental"!

1. though the final studio album by this canadian band it was a really decent effort GOOD TO BE BACK is remenance of the old prism sound with RON TABAK. the rest of the disc sounded current(for that TIME)love LONELY TOWN (A ballad)and ONLY HALF A MAN it is a shame the album was the last one most of the original members could muster up. If you like the band you'll dig the album.

1. This CD is eternal. The lyrics are melodic, firm and not subject to "stereo type." Day after day listening to the music of Chris Falson will change the way you live.



2. This is a truly great album! Chris Falson's music is a real treat and get's better with every listen. This album is as close as I can get to an all-time favorite. Whether you are Christian or not, GET IT!



3. Chirs is amazing: earthy, funky, a touch of blues and gospel, no pretense, and oozing with the Spirit. I was hooked after two plays.



4. I had the opportunity to play along with Chris in a couple of concerts, and you will never hear a more genuine and honest surrender to God than you do with Chris. This cd will appeal to Christian and Non christian music fans alike! Chris, you're the BEST!



5. This CD is the best one Chris Falson has done (besides Live Worship with the Maranatha Singers which is out of print). Peace of God is the best song on there.

   Chris has a gift in writing lyrics that lead you to the throne room.

   He's an awesome worship leader

1. I waited quite some time to purchase this cd. I should have left it where I bought it.



2. I had the tape and finally broke down & purchased the CD. It's great! This one will be out of print soon. If you like Reality Check,All Star United, Normals, Skillet & Jars of Clay you will love this! Great as a gift for your teenager and a good alternative to the junk out there. Parents & teens will be able to listen to this one together, imagine that? Buy it for your youth leader.



3. When I first heard this CD, I fell in love with it. I couldn't seem to find a decent music group that played the kind of music I like (I wasn't fully exposed to heavy rock yet, and I was getting sick of listening to the same Audio Adrenaline and DC Talks CD's).
   I borrowed this CD, actually, and as soon as I heard it I fell in love with it. It keeps up a very good Rock/Alternative/Punk sound, and while some songs are softer and nontheless enjoyable, some rock pretty good.

   This CD kept me alive through the boring stages of my search for good music. Actually that's an understatement. It didn't just keep me alive, it kept me happy, entertained, and for a while I didn't really care about any other music while I had this. I listened time and time again, and I still listen to it now, even after finding groups like P.O.D., Skillet and Project 86 that better fit my tastes. But I would not have survived had it not been for this CD. But please don't misunderstand and think I meant this was sort of a 'breathing tube'. It is still without a doubt a CD that I enjoy listening to, and will always cherish.

   Fans of Reliant K will enjoy this great record. It blends exceptional lyrics, great messages and even greater all around music. Purchase this CD as soon as possible, and you won't regret it, even if you only listen to it every now and again.




4. I don't like very many CD top to bottom. Many times I only like one or two songs. This CD breaks that mold. Top to bottom probably one of the best. Great music, great lyrics, great beat, this CD has it all. When I go on long drives this is one of the CDs to take along. Some great songs include Down with the Ship, Everybody needs love, Sea of forgetfulnes and You are the One.



5. Most music is written to please a certain taste: punk music is perfect for teenage boys, boy bands make 12-year old girls swoon, and rap is great if you dig that scene--but Seven Day Jesus writes pop rock that most people can enjoy. Recommended, but don't make it the first album on your list.

1. big shock to most that all thest guys are god fearing xians, however this isn't your grandma's xian music, this cd, and these bands was my introduction to a musical genre that i've fallen in love with, and even though i'm not a xian and don't care much for they're morals, i love this cd and most of the artists i listen to all the time. this is an album you can throw on in the pressance of ANY metal head and be like "so yea it's xian metal" and unless they've heard of the band you'll have to show them liner notes, this album rocks hard, if you like metal than pick it up!



2. GReat mix of hardcore, metalcore, thrash, and metal. It's great.

3. This is one of the best Solid State compilations. Mostly becuase of Living Sacrifice and Zao, and of course Blindside. Great CD to buy when looking for a new metal artist



4. This album introduced me to death metal, it absolutly blew my mind. This only the second of my 50 cds I'v given five stars. Top cuts from Extol, Zao, Living Sacrafice, Blindside, and Focal Point. If u like black metal, thrash metal, or just great death metal this album has it all. Only one of the 16 songs is boring (Training For Utopia) Buy it if u like heavy musik and u will not be dissapointed.



5. This is a great compiliation of the artist on the solid state records. It puts the power of harcore and heavier music right at your fingertips.
