- Great CD. Love these CD's. When you can't stream at work, it as good as listening to the radio. Got a really great deal in the used section. Just like new. Can't wait for 2009.
- I bought this CD on the advice of several friends who know I like worship songs. This CD didn't do much for me...it was too much rock and roll and a heavy metal feeling. I like the songs that are more total worship to God and not the ones where someone takes a love song and you're supposed to apply it to God. I could be way off but this CD is not in my car's player.
R.
- I enjoy these cds, but I'm surprised that there seems to be less variety than some of the previous editions.
- Every awesome song you could hear on KLOV or Air1 you will find on this CD. There is not a single song that I don't like!! So worth the $$:)
- I got this for just under $11. That's a great price considering the WOW CDs are usually close to $20.
When I listen to it, I feel like I'm listening to the regional Christian radio station. They play the exact same songs.
I usually don't buy these compilation CDs unless I absolutely love most of the songs. This deal let me take a chance to hear the songs I was less familiar with it. Definitely worth it.

- This CD has not left my vehicle since first play. I listen to this CD over and over again. With tracks that reminisce, tracks that yearn and tracks that tear your heart out, this CD is a lyrical wonder. Only one track (#6) gets skipped and I really couldn't tell you why...it just isn't like the others. So buy it for the singles if you must, but listen to the whole wonderful heart wrenching journey and feel the emotion.
- I didn't buy many albums last year, but this was the best by a million miles. I listen to it everyday. I have had it in CD player for a year. I also bought the digital album as well. I want them to keep making great albums like this. I could run down each track and say why it's great, but that's not needed. It's just a great listen the whole way through. The first song that stood out to me was the last track "Storm" because it's emotional. The same thing with "Broken". It's just so beautiful. You can click on the song title to read my review on that song. I am so mad they made a radio remix because I want people to hear this album version that is perfect. "Learn You Inside Out" is great too. The way he says "Insiiiiiide out" twice during the song gives me chills.
- I am big Lifehouse fan and this is one of there best CD's yet.
- It sounds like more time & effort was put into this album that the other ones. Most of the tracks sound like they REALLY invested lots of time composing the lyrics and music
It is a very cohesive and well put together Album.
- pretty good listening, my wife likes it better than i of course i am an 80s freak

- I had a nice chat with my brother about this CD, and we have 2 very different opinions. He doesn't like the newish style of the songs, and I do. I love the acoustic versions as well, and I think that Relient K is still the goofy and down to earth band that I've always loved. Now, despite the number of tracks, this isn't their best work to date (the past two albums were my favorites). But fans should still be able to enjoy this massive collection of witty lyrics and catchy tunes. It is different, to me it's a nice different, but I still hope they go back to the tried and true, old comfortable style for their next album.
- Relient K's "The Birds and the Bee Sides" is a must for any Relient K fan. It does a great job giving you all of their styles, from the new country sound of "At least we made it this far", to the Five Score sound of "Scene and Herd, or the Mmhmm sound of "Lining is Silver", along with the old-school sounds found on anatomy ant two lefts found in "the vinyl countdown", "nothing without you", and "for the band".
So many great songs and such a great Cd!
- I love Relient K and I love that they put out their bee sides and they charged a great price. However, the Relient K that I love has awesome wordplay and is much more upbeat. They are still brilliant but I hope that they don't continue to head toward a less unique, mainstream direction.
- I bought the Cd from Best Buy tuned it in and it sounds nothing like them i don't like it as much as there other cds but for 26 songs some old songs just changed background , but you cant beet the price, it depends on who listening to the song hope you like it
i gave it a 3 out of 5 because i like some songs and it has a bunch of songs
next time they make a new cd im still buying it , because they have the best music
- As a big fan of Relient K, and a singer/songwriter myself, one must wonder where all the hooks went. The new songs featured in the Nashville Tennis EP are OK, but many of them just don't take hold right away, if at all. In contrast, the b-sides often rock more and have twice the hooks. From the cover art as well as the lush tracks on their latest full-length, I was pretty sure the sound was going to be even more mellow, and more artsy. And it is, without the melodies. The opening track starts out with a banjo, then moves immediately into a note-for-note re-write of "The Best Thing" off their last album. And, out of the 26 songs, about half of them are real clunkers, semi-ballads that go nowhere (reminiscent of New Found Glory's "Coming Home" album). Like NFG, Relient K seems to have lost a bit of the passion along the line somewhere. The raw emotion of Hmmmmmm... has dropped off a bit on the last two releases. And that would be forgiveable if the songs were as great as they were on that album, but they're not, so I suggest this album for hardcore fans only.

This seller was WAAAY accurate - I appreciate it!
BUY from this seller!
You won't be sorry - -
- This CD is simply wonderful. I would recommend it for anyone looking to be uplifted.
- Please keep Steven Curtis Chapman and his family in your prayers. The song Cinderella is about his youngest daughter who went to be with Jesus yesterday. Cinderella, along with Miracle of the Moment, is one of my favorite songs on the CD. Again, please keep the family in your prayers.
- I may be a bit biased because Steven Curtis Chapman is my most favorite artist ever, but this album tops the charts in my book!
- Chapman's new CD is awesome. I purchased it because my granddaughter's favorite song right now is "Cinderella". It fits her stage of life perfectly. Great album!

- i absolutely love this CD. i haven't heard all of MercyMe's other CDs, just one other, so this is their best work that i know of. they are very inspiring and their love for the Lord comes through in their music. this CD is a blessing. "I KNOW" is probably my fave on the CD. well rounded song with a disco beat thrown in the middle of it. i can't explain it, ya just have to hear the whole thing from beginning to end to appreciate it fully! i am a big NEWSBOYS fan and was suprised at the grooviness of this CD. i bought it because i really liked "God With Us". they seemed to have really grown musically and/or have gotten in touch with who they really are as musicians, because this seems like a step out and up for them. i hope to hear more like this one!
- Well I gave this album a good listen and it has a few songs that are really good. The best song in my opinion is "God With Us" it is awesome, however, this album does not have enough rock feel to it like the coming up to breathe album had, I miss the heavy electric guitar like in the awesome mini solo near the end of "Something About You" on the previous album I loved that and they need more of that in their songs. Also, I dont like the sound like its an orchestra at the beginning of some songs.
Overall it was a decent album, but apart from a few songs the album just seemed thrown together and it didnt seem like the group put as much effort into these songs.
- When I hear a song by an artist or group and like it, I tell myself that there's a good chance I'll like more from this person or group. After hearing "God With Us" a number of times I thought I would download this album, knowing I've liked these guys before. After listening one or two times to the entire thing, it became quickly one of my favorite Christian set of songs I've ever experienced (I say this not as a seasoned music critic, just a guy who loves good songs). Literally I love every song here! I can't say that with all the albums I have, who can? From "God With Us" reminding us down here that there's One closer than the air in our lungs to "Almost Home" giving us a glimpse into the future when tears are wiped away at the site of the King and reunited with those we love to "You Reign" telling us through it all Jesus sits on His throne, these songs give life to the walk we call the human journey with others and our Companion. May they continue to be inspired and spread the incredibly Good News of Jesus, His coming and our hope.
- I've just recently "found" this contemporary Christian music and it's all I listen to now. My kids love it too. Don't have to worry about questionable lyrics. This disc has a great mix of songs. Definitely recommend it!
- I feel Mercy Me need to write more christian songs more contemporay christian songs with with out the rock sound to them. I think they,d be better off useing a combination of Accoustic, electric guitars, Piano,Saxphone, trumpet,& some base guitar, chimes in thwere next CD for 09. Id say wait til the next cd after this one before you buy anymore of there music.

- Excellent cd! Wonderful lyrics and music! It makes you want to listen to it over and over again!
- This was my first Skillet cd and now they are my absolute favorite. This song is filled with awesome songs that scream the love of Christ. John Cooper's voice is so incredible, and the songs relate to so many things that every single person goes through. This cd inspired me to see how many people out there are actually hurting. And it's encouraged me to reach out to people who think they're helpless. I would recommend this cd a million times over. Skillet rocks!
- I have been a long-time Skillet fan, ever since wearing out my tape of "Hey You, I Love Your Soul" back in high school. I really enjoyed Collide and the fresh energy the band found in that album. I was anticipating this release with bated breath...
and I found a ridiculously overblown production that just felt cheap in every way. The strings are so obviously keyboards rather than an actual string section, and they are simply overused. Instead of making the album feel "epic" and "orchestral" it's just flat, repetitive and boring. I don't mind the use of orchestral synths (The title track of Collide was a great example of well-used orchestral synths), but there was just no excuse to pepper every song with fake-sounding instruments. It's stale.
Furthermore, I'm extremely disappointed with the songcraft in this album. John Cooper, in an effort to appeal to a mass audience, made an album that has no resonating power within me. Even in songs such as "The Last Night," it sounds like a sweet and sincere song about companionship... but what actually is happening in the song? Who are these people? Why are they feeling emo?
I like the new styles that Skillet tries every album, but this is definitely mainstream radio rubbish that doesn't speak to me at all.
- What a great CD. This is a must have for all collections. They are one of the best Christian bands out there.
- I loved seeing RED in concert in cleveland and looked up their cd on amazon. I saw Skillet and that they were rated 4.5 stars. I listened to skillet's music from both cd's and was turned off when the singer opened his mouth. The music was good, but the singer should not be in this type of band.

- I've been a King's X fan since "Out of the Silent Planet" release. However, the releases since "Tape Head" have really disappointed me and after "Ogre Tones", I had decided that I wasn't going to purchase any more King's X releases.
Well, I happened to see this new release came out and sampled it online and immediately bought it. This is a very good release!! This is the King's X I used to love so much. I loved most of these songs on the very first hearing. This is such a welcomed surprise - coming back to the sound that put them on the map and making it current and fresh sounding. Kudos guys - absolutely fantastic release!!
- These guys should be giants in the music buisness, but radio has skrewed this band time and time again. This new disc is the nuts. I love it and to me thats all that matters.I just hope there getting paid for all there hard work and great music over the years. They deserve it.All you newbees get on the train it's time you heard Kind X.Something us all dudes have known for many years now.
- I have been a huge King's X fan from their beginning and I've seen them live six or seven times over the years. Every once in a (great) while I am mildly disappointed with a new release from this trio, most likely due to the tremendous expectations with which I await each new bone thrown to me from this exceptional group of musicians. This time around, however, I am truly ecstatic. In my opinion, this is THE BEST (if not at least one of the best) King's X albums/CD ever released. Each and every song is a heavy, melody-laden jam. I am a big fan of some of their more progressive and complex tunes - like those from their early "Out Of The Silent Planet" album - but I am especially fond of hard-rocking, hook-heavy fist-pumpers like "King". This CD contains my new 'favorite King's X song': "Move". On my first listen through this CD, filled with one awesome tune after another, I stalled out at track #9, "Move", and couldn't 'move' on until I had played it eight (or was it 9?) times in a row. This is one of the most memorable choruses I have ever heard...from anyone! The lyrics hold their own as well (all of the lyrics do). I was mainly into 'Christian Rock' when this group first started and I've seen some major changes in their attitudes toward God, 'The Church' and some so-called Christians. I've chatted with all three of these guys several times after their concerts (they are/were very accessible) and I know what they - especially Dug - have been treated like by some self-proclaimed 'brothers'. This song sums up quite adequately their response to some of the teaching of the Christian Church. This is another CD filled with honest commentary from three still-searching/questioning talented modern-day troubadors. (For even more joy, check out the latest solo releases from Ty Tabor and Dug Pinnick. Both are terrific!)...JOSEPH DAVID LUCCI.
- Seems like many reviewers are comparing XV to previous albums and whatever they liked best about some era of King's X's evolution, and that is to be expected--everyone has their favorites. But this album is its own beast, full of hope and pain and love and angst, and it just is what it is because these guys are where they are right now in their journey. It is brutal and tender and irreverent and desperately hopeful all at once. It is fresh and honest and still moving toward somewhere they have yet to realize, and who could ask for more? This band has been together for 25 years and continues to develop and change and be painfully relevant with every release. Yup, the old days are gone, Gretchen has lived and died in Nebraska, and the Silent Planet is way off the radar. Get over it. Ogre Tones was amazing, and XV is a worthy successor. Crank this one WAY up.
- As a long time King's X fan I always look forward to their next release with impatience. As always a finely crafted effort with something for every listener. Happy, Sad, Dark, Tongue in Cheek and Balls to the Walls! Love the vocals and harmony's and instrumental work although I personaly could use more epic guitar solo's from Ty I am pleased at yet another valiant effort from America's most crimminaly neglected band!!! Long Live King's X!!!

- I like the setting, with the crowd getting involve and stuff :) Overall, it's a nice compilation of praise songs. Only reason I don't give 5 starts simply because I would prefer a harder song nothing more... Get one!
- I think Hillsong really knows how to lead people to praise and worship God. Bless them.
- I have enjoyed every single song in this album. Most of them I knew and I liked before buying the album, now I like them even better. It's great to see that our God is moving everywhere in His amazing way.
God bless Hillsong United for being such a great blessing and inspiration for a lot of young christians everywhere
- This is a good worship album, however it doesn't bring any new songs to the table, which is a little disappointing.
- Wow, I love the album. Though the tracks are not new, I love the feeling that you are right there in the worship experience with the other people on the track. I went to see Hillsong United when they were touring the U.S. last year, and believe it was the best musical/worship experience of my whole life (and I've been to many Christian concerts). THey are truly an anointed band. Any person who really wants the feeling of a corporate worship experience in the privacy of their home or car should consider buying this album.

5 comments about The Heat.
- Very solid album but certainly not as good their first which is OK considering that Daylight was certainly the best christian rock album of the decade so far and perhaps the best rock album period. The songs are stylistically more pop than rock on this one and more homogenous; their isn't quite the sonic variety on The Heat. Instrumentally, the rhythm section seems to be less active, but the keyboard work, while more prominant than I might have wanted, is really interesting. The first two tracks probably represnt the most variety and are the highlight of the album. Everything after that sounds pretty good, but after a few songs, you have to look down at the display to see how many different songs you've actually heard.
I heard someone give an interview recently talk about the sophomore slump by saying that it makes sense that 2nd albums aren't as good as debuts because bands spent their whole lives putting together their first album for a label and are then pressured by that label to put the second one out in eighteen months or less in the midst of near-constant touring to promote the first one. I think that accounts for the lack of variety, and maybe there's one other reason; more of these songs seem to be an effort to create a single rather than just a great song. Still, an album well worth a listening to.
- I appreciate this CD by Needtobreathe. I really like "Washed by the Water" as it is one of my favorites. Fairly good theology and speaks volumes of truth in their songs. Thank you!
- This new project from NeedtoBreathe expands on the bands amazing talents. Incorporating more variety in sound; the melodies are as smooth as silk, this cd is breath taking. With meaningful lyrics and a stronger sound this group is maturing and bringing nothing but humility into their work. I would recommend this cd to anyone, it entails a little of everything.
- This is a CD you could listen to every single day. It is accidentally a really inspirational listen.......I'm guessing it was intentional however I found it accidental. I listen to it often and like it more and more each time. It puts you in a good place. I recently had the pleasure of seeing these guys live on their tour and they are even better in person !
- I heard one song by this group on the radio & purchased the CD. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the variety of music played by this group. It's like they are a mix of urban, rock, R&B, soul, etc. I really enjoyed the whole CD...nearly every song was my favorite, if that's possible. I'm glad to have stumbled onto this group.
