- Wow. When I first heard this CD, I was blown away. It seems like so many people just call any screamo band or any band that has some high pitched "waaaaaa!!" vocals in it to be hardcore. I don't know about you, but I can't stand that stuff. Its too fake. This is the real deal.
This is pummeling hardcore. Its harder than Hatebreed, harder than Throwdown, harder than Terror. I can't think of a band that even comes close to matching the heaviness of this band. Many times, what makes or breaks a hardcore band are the vocals. The band could be awesome, but if the vocals are lame, nobody wants to listen to it. In a scene where whiny screams have been taking over, this cd is a breath of fresh air. Oh my gosh I'm not kidding this band is so heavy it is just awesome. The singer (Aaron) seems to be reaching down into his gut with his fist. The vocals are so throaty and deep, as well as everything else...the guitars, the double bass on the drums. This is the culmination of all the best elements that make hardcore great.
It is one of the finest hardcore cd's I've ever heard.
Don't give into bands that immediately want to appear on MTV and sell sell sell. Stay true to the scene, support the underground. Support this band and buy one of the best hardcore cd's ever made.
- This is better than Hatebreed's new CD. It is more in your face, and it never let's up. Heavy breakdowns, pounding drums, and vocals that kick. Thick production makes it all sound brutal. And the fast songs just ooze with pit madness. One of the best hardcore cd's nobody knows about. Get it - It won't leave your player for a long time. Promise!

- this CD was a little more Deep and spiritual than the previous album than Jesus Freak, and the rock is heavier than any album they have put out. Buy this CD you wont regret it
- God Bless You all. This rumor of DCTALK spliting up is not true there taking a break this year (2000) to work on there solo projects. But for some back up you can visit either DCTALK.COM, KEVINMAX.COM or FOREFRONTRECORDS.COM please guys don't spread untrue things without knowing the facts. Thanks and God Bless... Oh and by the Way there Music Is Definietly Worth it....There Truly Inspirational.
- I play this CD day and night and it NEVER gets old. Their songwriting is soaring to new heights and their raw talent and fire for God radiates from their music. It's just plain awesome! These guys sure know how to write music. They are with no argument some of the most talented guys in music today, and the best band you've heard, Christian or not! Best of all, they realize that God rulz and are willing to show that through their music. These guys just plain RULE! They're beyond words.
Their lyrics are one of the most outstanding aspects of their music, if there IS anything that can be compared to the overall perfect quality. Red Letters, Supernatural, and Consume Me have some of the most powerful lyrics I've ever heard. It just drives, man! Just listen to them, and you'll understand!
- Wow, DC Talk continues to write some of the most amazing song and sounds ever recorded by anyone, if you are a fan of good music of any type, you must get this CD. I hope they keep up the amazing work.
- This is one of my favorite CD's ever! (my most favorite is Jesus Freak) And to everone that is a fan of dc talk, they are NOT breaking up. At my local radio station, one of the dj's talked with toby mckeehan, and he siad they are NOT splitting. IO hope this clears up the rumors, and by the way, buy this CD if you already haven't!

- I had this album and cassette as a teen and I am so glad that it has been released on cd. This is, in my opinion, Amy's best release. Her voice is flawless and the songs are fantastic. Great mix of songs - from the worship songs of El Shaddai and Sing Your Praise to The Lord, to the fun, yet moving Fat Baby. No one should be without this cd in their collection.
- I owned the album years ago and have updated to the CD. These songs are motivating and inspiring in their simplicity and their love of the Lord. Just good, sound, Christian music.
- I love this CD.. It brings me back to my high school days. I would recommend this to any one that just needs a pick-me-up.
- AGE TO AGE is definitely a Christian music masterpiece, and should be treated that way. It's songs offer what contemporary Christian music fans wanted to hear in 1982. It has great praise-rockers ("Sing Your Praise To The Lord", "I Have Decided"), humorous songs ("Fat Baby"), songs that really touch your heart ("El Shaddai", "In A Little While", "Raining On The Inside", "Arms Of Love"), and songs that you can listen to anytime ("I Love A Lonely Day", "Don't Run Away", "Got To Let It Go"). Amy Grant really gave her absolute best on this album. Of course, nothing can beat LEAD ME ON, but AGE TO AGE is a masterpiece in its own right as well. If you want to travel to the beginnings of CCM, want some cheering up, or just can't find a CD to listen to, then get AGE TO AGE.
- All pop music lovers should own "Age To Age."
This album has "skins on the wall." It was the first CCM album in history to go platinum. CCM Magazine, using two different sets of criteria and reviewers, ranked it once as the #3 CCM album of all time and then again as the fifth best LP/CD in history. The supporting artists involved with the album became practically a Who's Who of CCM. But ultimately it's not about the accolades, it's about the music. "Age To Age" is sometimes reverent ("El Shaddai"), somtimes rejoicing ("Sing Your Praise To The Lord"), and sometimes just plain fun ("Fat Baby"). But every track, whatever it's personality, contains perfectly crafted pop music. If you're a Christian, this album will speak to you in a special way. If you're not, just think of this as an album of love songs (which it is). If you like 80's Adult Contemporary music, you will love "Age To Age."

- This ain't hot at all. He get 2 stars just for trying and he saved. If you want to hear REAL Christian hip hop Please check out Lecrae, DA T.R.U.T.H.,116 Clique: The Compilation Album, Sean Slaughter, Mr Del, Trip Lee, Tedashii, and Flame. Any of these cd's will make you throw this one away. I'm sorry but I gotta keep it Real!
- For those of you that think the Ras ...[is no good]. Ya'll are trippin'. This fool is on fiya for God and knows how to rap. THis cd is worth buyin'. Trust me. The best songs are: DOWN SOUTH, FILL THA BLANKS, GUNS IN THA AIR, HAVE YOU ANY LOVE, THA DAY AFTER, AND WHO'S THA GREATEST.
- I'm feeling this CD a little bit. I'm not really a Lil' Raskull fan myself. The real regulator on Grapetree in my eyes is Antonious. Pick up Antonious - Principalities and your Lil' Raskull CD will soon be pickin up dust in comparison. Dont get me wrong. Lil Raskull comes out hard on some of the tracks, but I just can't get into it. I like the second half of the tracks better than the first half cause he sounds more relaxed and focused on the message he's trying to deliver. Some of the songs like "Down South" and "Who's the Greatest" just get old and repetitive very quick though. If I were you, I'd pick up Principalities by Antonious or Christology by The Ambassador. Save your money on this one.
- Lil' Raskull's made his comeback after his not-so-good album "Gory 2 Glory". I own all of his cd's and I have to admit this one's his best. Packed with awesome tunes and cool lyrics , Tha Ras has created one of the best Christian Rap albums I've heard--and I've heard a lot. The best songs are 'Guns In Tha Air', 'Down South', and 'The Day After'. If you're looking for a great Christian Rap album to buy, this would be my recommendation.
- This is probably got to be the best album Ras has dropped to date. Almost every song is on point. Down South gets ya rowdy for Jesus, and Who's the Greatest gets ya thinking. Again though my favorite is the last track. It has to be the singing by the woman. She goes off. A definite good buy.

- I've heard every cd by Lil' Raskull and this isn't one of his better albums. Three of the tracks have tired beats that make you want to skip on to the next track. But some of the other tracks are awesome. As for the intro, he completely wasted an incredible background music. Why use it for an intro when he could have made it into another track? The music he should have used for the intro is in 'Lift Him Up'. But there are some good tracks, and those are 'Walkin' Blind', '2 Sides To A Coin (featuring Rubadub)', and 'There's A Guide (remix)'. If you have this album on tape, you'd probably notice that after 'Pray On' on the first side, there's about three minutes of blank tape. Why couldn't Tha Ras put another song in there? And in 'Spirit, Soul, And Body', he could have used fellow Chritian Rapper Nuwine to rap the part of the devil. And for all those reasons, I give this album 2 stars. If you want to start a Lil' Raskull collection, don't start with this one. Start with either "Controverse All-Star" or "The Day After". But if you have every other cd by Tha Ras, you should get this one. To sum it up, don't get this album unless you need to complete a Lil' Raskull collection.
- Yo peep this this album is aiight. It gets four stars because the lyrical content iz on point, but az far as beats go it is truly lacking. Lift Him Up and Ghetto Dreams are by far the best overall songs on this album, and arguably the best that I have ever heard from Ras. The beats and lyrics are on point for both songs. The chorus in Ghetto Dreams iz hittin. The way that females goes off just keeps you playing the track over and over.
- its a little short but is one of the best albums i got.Ras did a good job on this one.Walking Blind is tight.
- Only ten songs on this and many of them are pretty short. But Ras still gots lots of good flows and he talks a lot about the struggles between good and evil. He also talks about people staying tru 2 Jesus. All the songs are pretty smooth, yet the best ones are "Walkin Blind," "There's a Guide(rmx)" and "2 sides to a Coin."

- I love all of Canton Jones cds. This one was off da chain as usual. It is well worth it. My favorites are cute, stay saved, warrior, and jesus but they all are hot.
- First, I'm not a hater. I'm new to Canton Jones and love his music. This cd has a problem with the guest rappers on songs, not Canton himself. First track 'Doin it Big': One rapper states "...got their panties up in a bunch" - not the worse thing you can say, but do you really want your kids or should you really repeat that line ever? No. Second track 'General' (Not gigolo - as the other reviewer stated): One rapper states "I keep guns, guns, lots of guns, I tote heat..." Now, the song is about demon killing, BUT this rapper never states what those guns are referring to. Most people can assume he means scriptures, but why assume? Take it at face value, again do you really want your kids or you to repeat that. Now what makes me take this rapper as meaning real guns, he later states "When you open up the trunk and smell like skunk..." now, i don't know what he's talking about. Cause in the secular world 'skunk' is a reference to weed, but maybe I'm getting too picky. Up to this point I still would have given this album 3 stars. Third Track 'Warrior': I am shocked and very sad that no one stated this before, but the guess rapper near the end of this song actually swears using the f-word. Using the f-word, and this is classified christian AUTOMATIC 1 star! If you can't put this on and feel it would be safe for your kids or yourself. 1 star. I think because it's the rappers, no one may have really listened to what they were saying but, unless you have editing software, skip this cd...buy his Kingdom Business, which is clean and great! I'm just saying what I wish someone would have told me before I got this cd, but I actually have editing software.
- Canton Jones is a great artist. His CD's have something for everyone. They are an inspiration to the spirit.
- I love this cd yall, had it for a minute and it still gets rocked on a regular basis. im a die hard cross movement fan but had to venture out of the fam to pick this one up... so nice to see Christians putting out decent, current, and relevant music for today
- I love it all. It is great way to ride, work out, and sit and meditate and still be fed with the word and good values.
