- Pettidee is the hottest Gospel rapper out today. Im not a huge fan of christian style rap and have heard them all from Lil Raskull and the Grapetree family of rappers to local performances and I must say with confidence that Pettidee is putting it down for Jacksonville. His lyrics are real and never cheesy. He raps are strickly about what the streets is like and where he came from and how god blessed his life. The beats are among the best in his game. He is a real lyricist. and thats how is should stay. REAL. A problem I notice on a lot of Gospel rap albums is the balance between the rappers voice and the beat are off and most of them sound like they are rapping live, which is wack. Whoever produced this album knew what they were doing. There are also other great Gospel albums out there that are produced well for example Grits (Factors Of The Seven and Grammatical Revolution), Cross Movement (All Albums), KJ-52 (All Albums), and Knowdaverbs (Syllabus, I havent heard his newer records but I like this album a lot). Check out these albums as well they are hot lyrically and musically. Peace out y'all and God bless. One!!!!!
- trying to decide what new cd to buy with your hard earned money? looking for a great present? search no more because with out a doubt pettidee is the best flowing beat droppin christian artist out there. hes got that ruff DMX sound with awesome messages. pick this up today...GOD BLESS
- If you like rap music, you will love this CD it kind of sounds like master p,but not all the fowl words....I dont see why this isn't on the RADIO!
- i loved pettidee from the 1st time i put the cd on. it was like an alternative to listening to worldly rap which was good for me being a newly saved christian. i wish everybody would get the album 'cause it's OFF DA CHAINZ!!!!!
- This guy reminds me of the hard core dance hall guys like Mad Lion. Love it!

- Tony Dorsey cd is good I have never been a lover of rap music of any kind and I did not think I would enjoy it at all but I was wrong. The first time I heard Tony was with an artist named Liz Mccomb I enjoyed what he did on that cd and I purchased his cd. To all possible future purchaser of Tony Dorsey cd it is worth the money buy it.

3 comments about Behind the Glory.
- Nothing to brag about. its ok. Lets talk more about God, spit a little faster, work on the beats, and it will all be good
Trip Lee... he's the top right now.
- This guy has amazing faith and speaks with God-confidence that is matched by few. He expresses holy truths in such a cool way that I want to listen and relate. With K-Drama, relating is really easy for me. He is real, relevant and so awesome. Some may some of his songs are cocky, but he is just expressing his God-Confidence with amazing style.
- An EMI Gospel recording artist drops his fourth solo project titled Behind the Glory. This album is very different to what I am personally used to because it is a very laid back rap style but I am telling his lyrics are very provoking for a Christian. I have to say that I have not heard of K-Drama until now. That does not matter. The album has 12 tracks and featured artists such as Canton Jones, Bracy and Mc Till. There is even a track produced by Todd Collins of Beatmart recordings. K - Drama has being in the Game for a little while and like most artist his story of the early struggles are reflected on a few track and a little story about his up bringing. For the key track to watch out are Let Freedom Bang, Let's Luv Em, Behind The Glory, Waste of time and Moving On but if you listen at first a couple of the tracks sounds the same because the first track titled whew and the chorus is a featured style of the album so you have to listen closely. Clearly a very unique style and I feel it is one of those styles you ever love or hate and for us at dancity there are a few tracks we can work with because verity is the spice of life. The only downside is when you start getting into it is when the album finishes. But I highly recommend that you check it and let me know if you disagree or agree with my review. So Check it Now.

3 comments about Hip Hope Hits 2006.
- Hip Hope Hits 2006 represents the Christian hip-hop community with this latest installment. Some of the best artists from Hip Hope Hits 2005 are back, along with a few new heads. Highlights include Grits with "If I", the infectious LA Symphony tune, "Dance Like", KJ-52's thought-provoking, "I Can Call on You", DJ Maj (collaborating with record producer/MC Liquid Beats) on "Love (So Beautiful)", Liquid Beats' Latin-fueled, "One Time" (featuring rapper Syntyst), Atlanta's own Mars Ill, with the New York-inspired "Sound Off", Shonlock's "Pushing Through", Manafest's "Let It Go" and legendary Christian MC T-Bone gets the party jumping with the Buster and Shavoni-produced, "Bounce". Some new tunes include some by Gotee Records alumnus Verbs ("New Day" featuring Syntyst) and John Reuben with "Bobblehead". New artist spotlights The Procussions with "Introducing...What's Your Name (Remix)", Catherine "Catt" Gallop (one of Grits' featured background singers from Dichotomy A & B, and a recording artist on their 5E Entertainment label) with the soulful song, "Fear No Evil", featuring Grits member, Teron "Bonafide" Carter and legendary underground hip-hop supergroup, 4th Avenue Jones, hits them upside the head with "Fabulous Dramatics".
In closing, Hip Hope Hits 2006 and Gotee Records scores again not only with lovers of Christian rap, but with the Kingdom of Heaven. Praise the Lord!!!!
- I'm a consumer of many christian rap albums, i got 2005 (which is also an amazing cd), and just bought 2006 and can't stop listening to it. it has a more R$B sound to a lot of the songs but its very diverse like that. Many artist from the last hip hope hits appear on this album, like pigeon john, t-bone, dj maj, john reuben, 4th avenue jones, LAS, KJ-52, Mars-ill, toby mac, verbs, liquid and of course grits. There is however a couple of new artist on the cd. There are a lot of other great christian rap artist maybe not as well known. Higher Ground: Hip-Hop Reformed & Reborn is another cd i would suggest to get to listen to other artist. Also are no artist from the cross movement, they all have really good separate cds out. The DVD is alright that comes with the cd, i just wish there were more music videos from these artist.
- HipHope 2006 is a great album. I've got already an earlier edition from HipHope, and it is my most favourite cd. This record is that good as wel, and maybe even better. I like to hear music like DJ Maj, Grits, LA Symphony and T-bone, so this album gives me a lot of good hiphop songs with at the same time good christian lyrics. If we had no christmas in one month I would buy it now!
