- An interesting life choice for this man: seminary school or singing (most often gospel songs). Well, the choice for music came out nicely. It's nice to hear every song on the CD and enjoy them. Some are serious; some are fun; some are traditional, but all are enjoyable. BUT, be gentle with your CD or you will scratch it like I did and have to get a new one, like I did. But even scratched, the medley that I got of Netherton's voice sounded good, too. A good buy.
- Tom Netherton has one of the best voices ever! Praise God for giving him this talent.
- I have read and re-read this many, many times. It made me chuckle, laugh, get many lumps in my throat, and cry. It is so well written, so candid, the author makes every mother out there wish they had a son just like him! What an inspiring book this is1
- Hi! everyone!
This is a great book by Tom Netherton. I bought it in the "70's and in my moving, I must of lost it. I also had a poster of him that I had on my wall. It was a huge gorgeous one which I don't have now. If anyone remembers or had a similar poster I'd love to hear from you or where I would be able to purchase another one. By the way does Tom have a fan club? Love Star
- The songs on this CD are so full of hope and faith that they can't help but lift a person's spirit. And, it's quite obvious that Tom Netherton feels and lives every word. I have the albums, but have not been able to find the CDs until now. Thanks so very much!

5 comments about Thank You.
- Thank You is one of the most enduring Christian albums for me. For a while I turned away from God, but the song Thank You kept popping into my head. I love this album.
- The "Thank You", "Sheperd Boy", and "Here Comes A Miracle" songs contain messages the church, even today, must listen to. I don't get tired of listening to this album.
- one of the best christian cd's i have ever heard. with standout tracks including the title, sheapard boy, and someone stood up for steven, this cd is a great addition to any collection.
- This was my second cd I bought of his and I liked it about as much as Honor and Glory. Everyone has probably already heard Thank You before and it is one of the best songs on this cd, but I personally love the last song we are his heart the best. the whole cd is well worth buying for this one song alone--just one listen to it is bound to make you cry--but the rest of the songs are solid too. Plus I like the fact that it's a christian album that actually sounds like one. You can most definitely tell how much Ray loves God and it shines through almost perfectly on this album.
- Ray sang this in our church a few weeks ago & brought me to tears! It is such an incredible song & I am going to write letters to past Christian mentors in my life thanking them for Giving to the Lord & touching my life.

1 comments about Seasons Change.
- This album by Ray Boltz, entitled "Season's Change" is a wonderful collection of Contemporary Gospel songs that really get to the heart of things. The lyrics address many real life issues that people face every day, while bringing a message of hope and peace. Through his music, Ray Boltz has brought the love of Jesus Christ to the real world. This is a great listening experience, and an exciting way to surface some of the problems we've been facing and realize that God is in control.

5 comments about Lovin' the Day.
- I'd first heard Out Of Eden in the spring of 1996, during my first year at the University of California at Santa Barbara. Someone had made me a mixtape filled with Inspirational music, and two acts from that tape grabbed my ear: Anointed, and Out Of Eden. The OOE song that grabbed me instantly was the drumcapella version of "Gotee's Groovin". It was simple, funky, and consistent. I was hooked.
Now in 2002, I have yet to tire of this album. To be honest, every time I play it, I love it even more. Now that you have endured my endless raving about the wonderfulness (I know that isn't a word!) of this album, let's jump right into my review... The album begins with a slightly altered "Lovely Day", the breezy and powerful Bill Withers remake that never fails to put me in a good mood. Soothing yet energetic, "Lovely Day" is easily one of the best songs on the album. Next up is "Come and Take My Hand", a decent uptempo that goes for more of the funky feel that makes up the rest of this album. "Show Me" is hands down my favorite. Lyrically, the song is powerful and poignant. The music and the harmonies are splendid, especially when the background vocals sing, "Show Me, Another Way, Show Me, Another Wa-ay" during the second chorus. I love the percussion too. "Show Me" is my favorite, my favorite, my favorite...(did I mention that "Show Me" is my favorite?) "3 bros w/no fros" is an interlude that lets us know that this album is a family affair, and it works. "Good Thing" has a frantic, disco feel to it that would probably work really well at a roller-rink. "Good Thing" is also a favorite of mine. The original version of "Gotee's Groovin" is cool, but I like the drumcapella version is much better. "Bandwagon" is excellent; it was the second OOE song I'd heard on that mixtape my friend made for me back in 1996. (Thanks Hawanya!) Up next is "There Is A Love", a beautifully plush, pro-abstinence ballad that communicates its message in a powerful, yet gentle way. "There Is A Love" is an amazingly sweet song folks, please believe it. On this cut, OOE sounds a bit like SWV...The next track is a nice rap by Joy (or Danielle). We move onto "Heart Of Hearts" which holds its own. However, "A Friend" is a quaint, mellow and warm midtempo that features wonderful background vocals and motifs. I really love "A Friend" one too... "Force Like This" does indeed sound powerful, and I like it. The "Lovely Vibe" interlude is fantastic, and it amazes me that something so utterly funky would be included on this project - then again, everything about OOE's first album is more on the funky side. We close the CD with the sonically perfect drumcapella version of "Gotee's Groovin", and then we're done. I own all three albums by "Out Of Eden" (1994, 1996, 1999), and I plan to get their latest album as soon as it comes out. 'Lovin The Day' is the most R&B/Hip-hop oriented OOE album of them all. Their other two (especially 1999's 'No Turning Back') seem to lean towards Pop music. At any rate, this is the album that started it all, and paved the way for the wonderfully "conscious" record company that Gotee Records has grown into today...
- This CD is awesome. All of Out of Eden's CD are. I have all except one. The voices blend nicely, and they are putting out a very positive message about God. Out Of Eden ROCKS!
- Lisa, Andrea, and Joy Kimmey have created a superb debut of R&B similar to that of TLC and Brandy. Their voices blend into beautiful, haunting, and grooving melodies sure to get you singing the rest of the day. Did you know Brandy interviewed them on Moesha, and decided to put the first part of "Lovely Day" on her answering machine? These 3 girls just made the cover of the August 1999 CCM Magazine for No Turning Back. Their concern for society and love for God are genuine. This debut is catchy, groovy, dancy, and all-out Jesus! Give it a listen and see if you don't agree!
- I love Out of Eden's new Cd.I love all of their cd's:-)I espically like the song Lovely Day it always makes me feel better during a hectic day.
- The sisters are great singers, and they praise God in all their songs. I'd love to hear more of them!

1 comments about All the Best: Live.
- This is a gem recording of the standard Sandi Patty concert format of the 1990's (family members make a special appearance in this concert). It starts with the inspirational pop praise medley and concludes with the Passion medley. The most sparkling moments are the recitation of "Sam's Rainbow" and the final encore of the concert: the song from Sandi's duet album with Kathy Tricolli ("Together") "The Last Days" which is a touching reminder of why Sandi Patty is utterly unique in Christian music and why there will never be anyone quite like her in Gospel music: She is an authentic, talented performer. More than Wonderful Songs for the Journey

4 comments about Hope.
- This CD has inspired me as a person. After I heard the song Savior, I thought how many people really need a Savior, my Savior. There is not one song on this album that does not lift you up and make you feel like you can win the world for Christ. I really wasn't a big Michael English fan until I heard one of my friends sing Savior. Then I got this CD, and now he is one of my favorite artist I have ever heard. I would highly suggest you consider this album to be on the top of you list.
- Michael English has a great voice. His music is very up-lifting. I just wished other Christian artists could produce the great style of Michael.
- How do you top a debut album with songs such as "In Christ Alone," and "Mary, Did you Know?" You release "Hope" and give more of the same. Mike has many great songs on this album. I especially like "Holding Out Hope to You." Michael shows his versatility with his gospel sound on "A Place called Hope." Michael has always been one of my favorite christian singers. If you love great christian music, then get this classic album. Standout cuts; Holding Out Hope To You, There Is a Love, A Place Called Hope.
- Though not a Michael English follower, after having heard someone sing "Holding Out Hope to You" off of this album, I knew I had to get it. Two years later, I finally found it. Listening to it is an incredible thing. Michael's voice comes across so emotional, not to mention extremely easy to listen to. All of the songs on Hope are great; check it out lest you miss a good album!

- Susan has the best female voice on the planet..and this album is so awesome..every song touches you..she has such a clear, and bright voice..with an amazing range. Summer Solstice, Hold the Intangible, Heart Like a Rock, Agree to Disagree are my favorite songs on here..but every song is a hit. There is no way on earth that you could dislike this album..even if you dont like contempoary christian music. Her best of vol. 1 is so fabulous also. She writes a lot of her songs too. Buy it..you wont be diasappointed :)
- I well remember the first time I heard Susan Ashton. I was in a Christian bookshop in Chelmsford, England, and this CD was playing. I was going through a tough time in my personal life. Then "A rose is a rose" came on. I just had to stop and listen to the whole track, wipe away a tear or two, and then buy the album there and then! This album is charged with truth and emotion, and I would challenge anyone to question the divine inspiration which runs through it.
This is an album of the highest quality imaginable: beautifully crafted songs, a voice that reaches out and grabs you, and a team of musicians and technicians who know exactly how to get the best out of the two. I'd happily recommend this to anyone - of any religion or none.
- I remember when this first came out the words and lyrics and music are awesome and gave a few insights to susans soul and the way she sang. Her heart was really in this album and I hope she continues to keep it in the right place.
- This is a wonderful album, but the Amazon review has one piece of info wrong - this was Susan's third solo album, not her debut. Her debut is called "Wakened by the Wind" and "Angels of Mercy" followed that. Terrific singer with the sense to pick strong songwriters. The opening two songs "Summer Solstice" and "Waiting for Your Love to Come Down" are worth the price of the CD alone.
- Susan Ashton is one of the best artists in the world of contemporary Christian music. This CD is wonderful--Susan has a beautifully pure voice and pours the deep emotion of someone who has "been there, done that" into the lyrics of her songs. I never get tired of listening to her!
