1. Growing up in a household were Gospel Music and ONLY Gospel music was allowed to be played this album was my sister and my favourite. I'm older now with a family of my own and more liberal (then my own parents were) with the type of music that can be played in my house. However I found that despite all the R'n'B, Rock, Soul, Pop (and the many other types of music that are played by my children) I missed something. I kept on thinking back to songs I heard in my youth, and the songs on this album kept on coming back to me. I hunted high and low and finally found it, but wondered whether it would have the same impact on me that it had before. I am so happy to say I STILL LOVE IT. I find myself dancing around the kitchen like a mad women to all the songs on this album. I particularly love "You don't have to Jump no Pews", "Take a Little Time" and "If I was A Tree" which funnily enough I cannot remember being on the original record we had when I was a child. The good thing about this album is my kids absolutely love it as well. I have children ranging from 14 to 2 and all of them relate to this album and love it as much as I do. 5 Stars!

All kinds of elements including rock, pop, and of course the traditional choir-style gospel make this album crossover, and with some short preachings and testimonies by Andrae, one can imagine the recording was more of a church service than a concert. The songs include "Perfect Peace" and "Just Like He Said He Would," both of which has a taste of typical 1970s pop music as well as the famous versions of the hymns "I Surrender All," "Revive Us Again," and "Power in the Blood." This album also inspired Donnie McClurkin to record his live album in London.

5. If you want to know the roots of Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, et al, you need to listen to this album. I owned this on the original LP, and I nearly played it to death! As far as I know, this is the only recording of the spiritually hilarious "You Don't Have to Jump No Pews," a reminder to his fellow charismatics/Church of God in Christ brothers that "it's not based on emotion or feelings, but faith in God's Word and receiving." I love the musicianship, the life and faith this recording reflects. It is also one of the last appearances on record with the late Dannibelle Hall, a longtime Crouch backup singer. If you want to know why Andrae Crouch has such staying power, this recording will tell you all you want to know--and then some!

1. The one entitled "The Steve Camp Collection" (ASIN B000002UEM) contains 2 CDs at a price roughly half the cost used of this one. The only song on this one that's NOT on the double disc set is "Forgive Me, Forgive You". So unless that's your absolute favourite Camp tune ever, buying this is needless.



2. Steve Camp came to my door tonight and I was in my robe to return my Rolland stage piano that he borrowed from me for the weekend. He is really cool and even signed my keyboard. Wow.



3. Every person needs to listen to the powerful messages behind Steve Camp's songs-you can't help but be moved!

1. The 2 songs featured on this single are great. Plus One are so talented, these songs are awesome. Their love for God shows in all their songs. You can listen to these songs by buying their "The Promise" CD and also check out their "Obvious" CD. This is a great group, everyone needs to check them out. :)



2. Plus ONE is an awesome group, and I would say Last Flight Out is one of their best songs. If you like pop or the boyband sound at all, you'll love this! Last Flight Out is a really sweet love ballad, and I Will Rescue You is a really cool song too! I would definately recommend that you buy this!!!

In case you don't know Plus One is a Christian guy vocal group "Last flight out" is a very beautiful song...Not just the vocals,but the instruments and the tune is so sad feeling,but beautiful and inspiring at the same time...Its not your typical ballad its about doing anything for God,anf not doing anything for a girl!!!You should check out this song definetely,and their album "This Promise" if you like this song.!



4. Plus One is a totally awsome group and I have had their CD since summer of 2000 and I now I know every song by heart and I play the CD over and over again!!! Another great Christain band is JAKE their a group made up of 3 brothers and if you like Plus One you will love JAKE too!!! I recomend this CD for everyone they are just awesome!!!!!!!!!!! [....]



5. I'm a 42 yr old mother of 3 and love the way that Plus One fulfills the need for a band that young and old can enjoy. I love their music and I'm so glad that they are out there for my kids to listen to.

1. In about 1956 I was at a Dance Hall where Country Western music was played by a young group just starting out. My girlfriends twisted my arm to come and I could hardly wait to get out of there. It was a very warm night and I wanted to cruise up University Ave. ( St. Paul MN.) in my 49 Mercury. Before I left I walked up to the Band and asked one of the guys to play a song. Here's how I asked him. " Do You Know...You Are My SunShine?" The guys at school called me Sunshine and that seemed like a fun song. Somehow I didn't wait for it to be played. And I heard later that the fellow in the band was looking for me and actually ran outside to see me taking off in my 49 Mercury. I always wondered when I heard the two songs if there was any connection. The two songs being. Crazy about a Mercury and Do You Know You Are My Sunshine. The very simple You ARE My Sunshine was all that I had asked for. I was sixteen at the time. My girlfriends told me the fellow took off after he was through playing to look for me up and down University. They didn't dare tell him my name or where I lived because they knew I would really not appreciate that at all. Now I love those song because it brings back favorite memories of crusing in my Mercury and how much fun it was to be so independent. The Statler Brothers ..... ( Do You Know.. ) is great and so lively its a fun song for all ages.
