- My older children and family used to listen to this self-written, solo instrumental collection while driving on the open road. It seems to add value to everything. A simple joy.
We lost the tape somehow, and I've missed it. I've looked in stores for over a decade. It's delightful to finally catch up with it here on Amazon.
I wonder how many have listened to Omartian's work without realizing it. He often works behind the scenes with other musicians. He is an amazing keyboard player and an amazing composer. This particular subtle work will likely steal you away.
- It was a real pleasure to listen to Michaels music again. He has always understood to combine interesting melodies with a perfect sound of orchestration. He has been a genius in producing ever since, but he`s also a gifted composer and singer himself. Give us more of your spirit!

- Jonathan Pierce has an incredible voice and an inspired way of delivering the Christian message in song. My kids and I have enjoyed this CD, but when it was stolen from my parked car I could only rejoice, hoping that the thief would hear the songs and change his ways. Don't miss the music of Jonathan Pierce!
- FANTASTIC ALBUM! The best voice in "Christian Music". An obvious true to the heart christian! So many of the songs on this album minister to me...I can't name all hte adjectives that apply to his album, and Jonathan Pierce...The CMA, and the Dove Awards, must be hearing, and seeing this "Great" talent!
- ALBUM #2 IS TOP DRAWER LIKE ALBUM #1 "ONE LOVE." "MISSION" LETS YOU KNOW ABOUT "CHRIST" AND OUR "LORD." SO MANY GREAT SONGS WRITTEN BY JONATHAN PIERCE. SINGLE GRAIN OF FAITH, PRAISE THE LORD, WITH ALL MY HEART, I BELIEVE IN CHRIST, FARTHER THAN YOUR GRACE CAN REACH, TO BE A CHRISTAIN-THESE 6 OF THE 10 SONGS HAD #1 POTENTIAL. THE OTHER 4 HAD #2 POTENTIAL. WHERE ARE THE DOVE AWARDS? SOMETIMES I WONDER IF THE DOVE AWARDS AREN'T POLITICAL!! MAYBE CURB RECORDS SHOULD DVERTISE MORE & MAKE A VIDEO OF EACH ALBUM. JONATHAN PIERCE PLEASE KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING, BLESSING OUR HEARTS AND SHARING YOUR GIFTS WITH US. YOUR FAN AND FRIEND IN "CHRIST" - HAROLD
- "Mission" is Jonathan Pierce's second solo album and it doesn't disappoint. It is more vocally ambitious than "One Love," his first album. A few of the cuts (such as "Hold Me In Your Arms) let us see the fun side of Jonathan's music, while songs like "Farther Than Your Grace Can Reach" show us the softness and power of his voice. His remake of "Praise the Lord" is amazing and "I Belive In Christ" follows in the same vein. My favorite track is "To Be A Christian." This song depicts what being a true Christian is all about. It would have had great potential if it had been released as a single. This is a great album that will encourage the listener to be all they can for God. Enjoy it!
- Jonathan Pierce is in my opinion one of the greatest contemporary artist in the gospel music field today. This album is a wonderful way to relay the messages of God to the younger people in today's nasty world. Knowing Jonathan from The Gaither Vocal Band, I know that there is a true meaning behind what he is singing. It is coming from the heart.

- I enjoyed this Cd very much. The selections were very good. I listen to it quite often and like it very much
- I have paid for a product that I have never received and I am very upset about it, understandably. I am hoping/waiting for a replacment or refund!
- I enjoy this particular CD since some of the vocalists are no longer living. The Homecoming format is one I particularly enjoy.
- You will feel like you have been to "Heaven" and back after you listen to this concert! Be warned: Make sure you have time to listen from top to bottom because you will not want to turn this one off!

- I love all his CDs. Gods love and Spirit is reflected in his work.
- Highly recommend. If you enjoy Gospel and Patriotic music - I would like to recommend Ray Boltz music. It is of professional quality with strong messages in his music. I listen to it over and over in the car.
- This is a great CD. Fallen, Not Forgotten and It's an honor to serve are the best. All the other ones are good, in the typical Ray Boltz style. This CD is worth getting! Another patriotic song or two would have earned the CD 5 stars.

- The music in this album is beautiful and true. I have searched all over in vain for one of the songs on this album and am so happy that I found it. Some of the songs I did not know, but they are now my favorites.

- This is wonderful music from Twila from 1984. There are great songs on this cd. The Warrior is a Child, We Bow Down, Praise Him and Do I Trust You are well known songs on the CD and are sung in the churches. This is Twila's third Benson release.
She recorded this album just before marrying Jack Wright who was also her manager for a season. She was 24 years old when this cd came out. Her giftings are already manifest for writing great worship. Twila says that the song the Warrior is a Child has produced more positive feedback to her than any other song she has written. She was inspired to write the song after hearing the word of God preached that no matter what happens or who you are, you are still a child of God when you believe in Jesus (Yeshua).
- I love this CD! I have a hard time picking out anything else to listen to! My two favorite songs are "The Warrior is a Child" and "Do I Trust You?" "The Warrior is a Child" reminds me that I am never to fight the battles in my own strength, and that I need to find a quiet place to rest. The song "Do I Trust You Lord?" always seems to come to me at a time when I am feeling particularly challenged as a believer, and the only thing I need to know is that I will trust Him no matter what path I may walk down. I am reminded that not only does the Lord build the house, He chooses the materials with which to build the house. I would highly recommend this CD - it has changed the way I look at trials in my life!
- ...As for the album itself it is a great collection of Twila's earlier work with her popular anthem "The Warrior is a Child", praise favorites ("We Bow Down", "Praise Him"), a wonderful arrangement of the hymn"Leaning on the Everlasting Arms", and even a couple more aggressive (for Twila) tracks in "Forever Eyes" and "To Do Your Will" (though I really don't like them as much as the later "God is in Control" or "I See You Standing").
My favorite track on the whole album, however, is "Do I Trust You", a very personal and touching track that really spells out our relationship with Christ ("Sometimes my little heart can't understand/what's in your will, what's in your plan/So many times I'm tempted to ask you why"). A classic Twila Paris song which is just as moving today as over a decade ago.

1 comments about Vol. 5-Prestigious Quartet.
- This album contains three of the most soul searching songs the Cathedrals have sung. From "How Unworthy I am" to "Its Almost Over", the album is perhaps the most lamenting, yet rejoiceful collection of songs the Cathedrals produced. Perhaps the best song on the album is "When the World Looks At Me". The song challenges us to inspect our daily lives, the way we live them, and answer the question "does the world see Jesus in the way I carry myself, in the way I interact with people, in the way I live?". I challenge listeners to not only enjoy the awesome talents of this great quartet, but to really listen to the words and messages of the songs on this album.
