- We love the CD. Mark Harris is great. We had no idea that he wrote all those songs for 4Him until we saw him in concert.
- My daughter and I danced to this at her wedding. A very appropriate way to send her off to her new life.
- I bought this for the song "finding your wings" and gave it to all my daughters. The whole cd is wonderful and they were touched..pretty cool for teenagers!
- As a former hippie and punk rocker and now 3 years new to christian rock I can say I am truly amazed in my experience of this wonderful artist. With the torch and spirit of new secular rock dead, where artists would enlighten and lead us in life affirming lyrics and song comes Mark Harris. Once love was the answer. Now chrisitian rock ministers to approach the spiritual with the passion and deep well of inspiration that the early rock stars of the late 60's did. Today God is the answer. Mark Harris is a true leader and proves how deep the well is in the world of Gods presence. It shows me how we can change the world with the sensibilities and proven models rock has laid down and now within the powerful voice of God speaking through artists like Mark Harris. Long live God and Rock and Mark Harris.
- "Find Your Wings" is a great song for a new graduate. It speaks to the leaving the nest that is so very hard for both parent and child, but so rewarding, as well.

5 comments about Apathetic EP.
- i would suggest buying the two newest cds and not buying this one at all because youll get better versions of basically the same songs
- Relient K knows, or knew, how to put out extra content, the EP. The early EPs had songs from the full length albums, as well as some goodies, sometimes good, sometimes not so much. But the trend turns with Apathetic EP, all original content, nothing old.
The album starts off with two new studio songs, both are great, but are in a in-between style, not Five Score, but not "Mmhmm" either.
The next three songs are marvelous acoustic tracks. All of them are great in their own right. I might prefer the studio version to "Over Thinking" musically, but for the overall emotion to the song, this version works best.
"In Like a Lion (Always Winter)" is one of the greatest Relient K songs of all time. Although it's not a rock song, it's their best, I guess what you call balled. If you haven't heard the song, please do, you will be blown away. Why this song wasn't on the Music Inspired By The Chronicles Of Narnia album, I don't know. I think it was a MAJOR mistake by the people that produced the album. Because this song is better than that whole album, combined.
The last song is by Matt T's side band, Matt Theissen and the Earthquakes. The song is only OK, not anything to write home about. I also had a hard time getting the whole vibe of the song.
And for those of you who got the acoustic version of "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been" it's a good version, but I think they took it down too much, which is probably why it was eventually cut.
Overall, the best EP by far, great find for fans, and the album contains many great songs. Only time will tell if another EP of theirs is made, this site only mentions a Christmas album coming out, but I hope they do an EP for Five Score. The Relient K EP is always the best middle album in Christian music, and probably music period. You don't have to agree, but it's my opinion, and I'm sticking with it.
- So, I usually don't like EP albums, but since I like Relient K, I decided to try it.
I love this CD! All the songs are awesome.
I won't go into detail about each one, but my favorites on this album are "In like a Lion" and "the Truth".
If I could give it 6 stars, I would!
Also, I agree that you should check out their christmas album, "Deck the Halls, Bruise your Hand".
They also have a new christmas album coming out near the end of october (2007).
I'm getting it, and I recommend you look into it.
Anyways, Great album. Keep on rocking!
- hey if you like acousics, you'll love this one. three of my favorite rk songs are redone in acoustics...be my escape...which to bury, us or the hatchet...and over thinking. there's one more acoustic...in like a lion. i love the acoustic versions. it really showcases their lyrics and melodic voices. i can't get enough of rk.
- I liked their first 2 albums, but the third-- Two lefts don't make a right, but three do-- was disappointing... disappointingly secular. I liked relient k originally because they were punk and christian. You can find punk non-christian in every garage in suburbia, and the fact that they caved into making their music more secular really disappointed me.
I got this album because I heard them collaborate with John Reuben on his cd The Boy vs. the Cynic, and the song rocked. So I gave them another chance... and it turns out that I shouldn't have wasted my money.
They're okay as a punk band. Their songs sound a lot the same, all the time, so don't get this cd (or any of theirs) looking for originality. But the thing is, they're not good enough of a punk band to make me want to listen to them when they're not Christian anymore. When they went secular, they really became just like every other wanna-be punk band, and I stopped listening to them. When I was a fan I almost felt betrayed by their selling out of their beliefs. Now, I'm just disappointed.

- Rita Springer is probably The Greatest Christian Singer Ever! Wonderful Voice. Passionate about Music and Her Master! Great CD!
- This is a best of CD for Rita Springer that was compliled by Floodgate Records now that Rita's contract with them is up. It has a few of the same songs that were included on the bonus best of CD included in the "I Have To Believe" Special Edition CD but there are a lot that are not. The track listing is: 1. Worth It All 2. I Have To Believe 3. If You Say Go 4. In Christ Alone/Nothing But The Blood 5. You Said 6. You Are Still Holy 7. When I Think About The Lord 8. You Are Good 9. Holy Spirit Come 10. I Want The Joy 11 O God Of Mine 12. Bless The Lord (Duet with Jeff Deyo) 13. King Of The Jews (brand new song) 14. Captured (Live-not the version on Rita's brand new live album "Beautiful You.") & 15. Lead Me To The Father. This CD is a must for any Rita Springer fans. She is a product of the Vineyard but her style is all her own. She is one of my favorite singers and I highly recomend this album and any of her other great albums to you!

2 comments about Alien Youth.
- This album features a variety of sounds ranging from rather mellow to quite hard. Most of them are more on the harder end of the scale.
The lyrics are explicitly Christian. There is no mistaking the message. This band is not afraid to use the name of Jesus in their songs.
Although this is not their best album, it is pretty good. These are my favorites: You Are My Hope, One Real Thing, and Will You Be There. Those who are already Skillet fans will not be disappointed. For those who are unfamiliar with them, I would also highly recommend Comatose and Ardent Worship: Skillet Live.
- This is the first Skillet album I bought and my favorite CD has a great mix of different jams. This album has a great mix of different sounds one of which your sure to love wheather you like rock, techno, or smooth worship songs.

5 comments about If I Had One Chance to Tell You Something.
- This project started out with a band on "God Help Me." It showed plenty of variety including guest appearances by rapper Toby Mac and the girls group Barlow Girl.
My favorite tracks were "God Help Me", "Alive", "You Are Loved" (I love the lyrics on assurance), "I Need You", "Forgive Me", and "Lest I Forget".
- This CD is simply the best CD ever by Rebecca St. James. I have almost all the collection from Rebecca and I have been dissapointed by some of the CD's (for example "Pray" where I just liked like two songs). Well, then came "Treansformed" which I really enjoyed and now Rebecca bring us "If I had one chance to tell you something". I love this Cd from the first to the last track. The main theme from the CD, "You are loved" just have me enchanted! I love the song, and the music in it is just superb! If you are or if you are not a fan of Rebecca I recommend this CD to you anyways because I assure you that you will like it. Don't think it twice and buy it!
- As most fans of Rebecca know, she went five years without releasing an album of completely new material. Her 2000 album Transform was incredible, with her playing more of a songwriting role than ever and having a unique, innovative dance sound that could be compared to that of Madonna's Ray of Light, and I wondered if she could top it. Well, she really must've been waiting to surprise us, becaue If I Had One Chance To Tell You Something is by far her most amazing album, and one of the best in my album collection. All of the songs are fantastic, and she either wrote or co-wrote all of them with the exeption of one, which makes it the most personal album she's written so far, with the focus on one thing in particular: That no matter what, God's love is always there. Another thing that really impressed me about this album was how great she is at writing songs that are not only catchy and rockin' but have such beautiful, meaningful lyrics, and on top of that she sings them with such passion! I didn't expect her fifth studio album (not counting Worship God or the Christmas album)to be this awesome, but it's for reasons like this
that Rebecca St. James is one of my favorite singers of all time.
(Oh and no, I'm not really K. Meyers, just his daughter using his account because I can't have my own)
- Rebecca's best CD yet!! She has great variety with her songs. Great songwriting, great sound. Absolutely amazing - one of my favorite CDs.
- I have to say that Rebecca St. James has a good carriere. She has done two classic albums before - "God" and "Transform", and now - this album. The music in this album is perfect for me. This is even rockier than "God", which is great! Rebecca hasn't copied her earlier albums - she has always surprised with a new stuff! However, it is important that she hasn't given up the Christian message. There's only few Christian artist who sing in English which I like - The Benjamin Gate, Stryper, Trouble, Superchick, and Rebecca!!! The opening track of this album "God Help Me" is superb! It is pure rock!!! The next songs continue the same good line and the album title is sung in "You Are Loved". "Shadowlands" was at first a song I skipped but now I've noticed that actually it's quite a good song. It is much different from other songs, much more peaceful. "Love Being Loved by You" and "I Need You" are killer tracks too! "I Can Trust You" haven't opened for me yet but I'm sure that I will like it if I listened to it many times. "Thank You" is a great song, too! "Take All of Me" is a great song about losing yourself to God! "Lest I Forget" is a perfect song to finish this album. It's quite long and very peaceful but it has excellent lyrics - like this whole album has.
Stars: You Are loved, God Help Me, Love Being Loved by You

2 comments about Songs of the Spirit: The Debbie Friedman Anthology.
- I belong to the same Temple as Debbie, so maybe I'm biased but...my tastes run Beck/Radiohead/Tori Amos and ironically, she fits into that combination perfectly. This is a religious CD made for those of the Jewish persuasion, to be sure. It's perfect for either private time background music or as thoughtful meditations. Thank G-d Debbie is a Jew and chooses to use her gift to create soundtracks for us. She's a gift from G-d, to be sure. Yeah, ok, some of it is kinda MOR but it's only a few songs. `Miriam's Song' is the bestest, my favorite. Much love to ya, Debbie...
- I am waiting for Debbie Friedman's new CD to come out this month, but until then... I love this CD because it has all of your Debbie Friedman favorites and a few songs that you may not have known about, but will come to love. This anthology is great and very complete. Now... that new album, which is coming out has got to be Debbie's best. Did you go to the listen page for it? Awesome.

4 comments about Gaither Homecoming Classics, Vol. 1.
- How do you pick the best Gaither songs. It is difficult with so many but these are great. My favorite on this DVD is Lord Send Your Angels with Candy Christmas, Kim Hopper and Charlotte Ritchie. The Mystery of God's Will: Living the Christian Life as Seen in Ephesians
- This is great music to speak to your heart, soul and mind. I love to play it with the children around. Alot better for their minds than what is popular with the mainstream today.
- I bought this as a gift for my mom and she loves the gaither singers she said it was great and she loved it
- Culled from Bill and Gloria Gaither's many live Homecoming reunions, from venues as diverse as the famous old Ryman Auditorium in Nashville to the beautiful Central Hall Westminster, in London, England, some of gospel music's greatest singers are showcased with brief introductions by Bill. These are all inspiring songs that fill the heart with praise, hope and gratitude, and they're performed with devotion and musical excellence.
Song list: 1. "Farther Along" ~ Ivan Parker, 1995. 2. "Sweet Beulah Land" ~ Squire Parsons, 1995 3. "To God be the Glory" ~ Andrae Crouch, (this is mislabeled on my copy) 2001 4. "Joy Comes in the Morning" ~ Joy Gardner, 1996 5. "Rock of Ages" ~ Vestal Goodman, Reggie Smith, Joy Gardner, Stephen Hill, 1998 6. "In the Garden" ~ The Mullins Family, 1995 7. "I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary"~ Gaither Vocal Band, 1998 8. "Whispering Hope" ~ Larry Ford, 2000 9. "If I Can Help Someone" ~ Glen Payne (in one of his last performances), 2000 10. "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" ~ Larry Ford, 2000 11. "Lord, Send Your Angels" ~ Candy Christmas, Kim Hopper, Charlotte Ritchie, 2000 12. "I'm Free" ~ Lynda Randle, David Phelps, 2000 13. "The King is Coming" ~ Gaither Vocal Band, George Younce, 2001 14. "Through it All" ~ Jessy Dixon, Ben Speer, 1996 15. "The Blood Will Never Lose its Power" ~ CeCe Winans, 2001 16. "Highway to Heaven" ~ Jessy Dixon, Glen Payne, (one of the 2 up-tempo songs in the collection, it's a real hand-clapper) 1998 17. "The Old Rugged Cross Made the Difference" ~ Gaither Vocal Band (Guy Penrod), 2001 18. "Standing in the Need of Prayer" ~ Evie Karlsson, Sarah DeLane, 2001 19. "Oh, What a Time !" ~ Gaither Vocal Band, Jake Hess (the 2nd up-tempo song) 2001 20. "Climbing Jacob's Ladder" ~ Ann Downing, The Ruppes, The Nelons, Greater Vision, 2001 This is good to put on and watch when your spirit needs a lift, and serves equally well as background music, as the songs are mostly in a mellow mood, and will bring peace and harmony to your living space. Total running time is one hour and ten minutes.

5 comments about Butterfly Kisses (Shades Of Grace).
- Hi,
My eldest son and wife have two daughters, aged 8 and 6 years. I bought the CD as a gift for my son and his wife to play when the children
become married later in life. I reckon it'll be a memory time for all of them late in life. Regards.
Des.
- This is a beautiful CD. Butterfly Kisses is of course the highlight and brings tears to my eyes everytime I here it. I heard this song when it origninally came out, and had to have the CD. I have since purchased 2 others and shared them with family members. I also just love a Man of His Word. I think this song is awesome. Bob Carlisle has an amazing voice.
- Butterfly Kisses, what a beautiful and wonderous song. Of a real daddy loving his little girl. And letting her know how precious she is to him. If only we had more daddies that felt and spoke out how precious their children were to them. What a blessed nation we would become.
- I first heard "Butterfly Kisses" in the car with my mom. i was about 7 or 8. i am now 13 and this song still has the power to draw tears to my eyes. Bob Carlise is a wonderful singer to begin with and his songs are very powerful. I WOULD MOST STROGLY ADVISE YOU TO BUY THIS CD. I guarunte it will touch you.
- I was driving when I first heard the song Butterfly Kisses as a father of a beautiful daughter the tears rolled down my cheers in a way that no other song has. I went an brought the album as soon as i could found a music shop. Seven years later the songs still sound fresh and every time I hear Butterfly Kisses my heart beats a little faster and it reminds of how lucky I am to have a beautiful little girl. I also take every little kiss that she gives me and keep it my heart.

5 comments about The Book of David, Vol. 1: The Transition.
- What an awesome cd. I love the whole concept of chronicling his life out in the different tracks. The tracks that stand out he most are "Nothing But God", "Help Me", and "The Settlement" for me. I hope Dave Hollister gets a little more promo in the Gospel industry. This album was really good. It seems like this one has the better up-tempo tracks, and "Witness Protection" has the better slow worship joints. I also enjoyed the Interludes and wish the short songs like "Where Are You/Answer Me", and "Take Me Back" were longer. If you enjoy contemporary gospel go ahead and cop this...it's a blessing!
- Buy this! No-one has chronicled their life quite like this, maybe for a song or two, but not like this audacious track-by-track effort. What Dave Hollister has released on us here is the most profound direct approach to delivering a personal testimony I've ever heard. It's not pompous or self-righteous. You get the grime & grit and how God got him through it.
Take this home, take an hour out without disturbances and listen with inlay card in hand. Then prove if this is not the most useful and potentially most influential gospel recording in years.
There are 20 tracks; basically 6 or so `sections' preceded by minute-long introductions. The first 10 tracks, particularly the brilliant `Divorced' and `The Settlement', should be heard at least once by every person in the western hemisphere. All the weighty grooves, such as `I've Changed', are up there along with power-lyric ballad `I Let Heaven Down' & the reworked classic `The Potter'.
Promoters! Resourced ministers with even the remotest interest in reaching and building up men and the youth! Get Dave Hollister into your conferences and concerts. Not to shift units, balance the books or even to achieve the renown this breakthrough album thoroughly deserves. This album reminds us that propagating the message through the power of a testimony exceeds all the usual concepts of being a recording artist. It also transcends rating systems; you'll see 5/5 below, but it's much more than that.
- There were a few cuts on this album that I love, but then there were others that weren't. Dave seemed to be going through some things with this album which were evident in the quality of the album. It's like the first few songs were great, then he got to talking about his divorce and it went down hill...
- MASTERPIECE! THAT IS ALL I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS BROTHER. ENJOYABLE AND INTERESTING AT THE SAME TIME. JUST ABOUT"LIFE". WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT?!
WE ALL GO THROUGH SOMETHING...BUT THERE IS ALWAYS LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL..KEEPING YOUR FAITH!!!! PEACE AND BLESSINGS TO ALL.
- Lord what can I say??? Is it me or when some secular artist crossover into the gospel genre of music, it seem like they loose all of their musical capability. We all know that the brotha can SANGGGG hands down, but on this CD the songs just did not exemplify the talent, the emotions, nor the vocals. I really wasn't feelin it b/c when i heard that Dave Hollister had gotten saved and was comin out with a gospel project, I was on my toes b/c I used to listen to his secular projects and say to my self "if this kat ever get saved 4real and do gospel, man it's on!" And for his 1st gospel project, I wasn't impressed and strangly I've actually seen Dave minister since he's been saved and this kat can really usher in the presence of God, not just merely vocals and the fact that he can sing, but he's anointed too! So I was disappointed that did not reflect on his CD. I know producers and writers also play a major part in an artist like Dave esp. crossing over from secular music. Maybe with the right producers and more growth in GOD as a worshipper, we'll hear more from this powerhouse man of God on his upcoming projects. But as for this one, I wouldn't go around recommending adding it to your CD case for your listening pleasure, but just for the simple fact one of my favorite secular artist gave up the world and came on the Lord's side, i'd buy it just to support him.
