1. I Surrender All by Carman is outstanding. 30 classic hymns sung with feeling. You can tell he knows the Lord when he sings these songs! Something for everyone on this CD.

3. WOW! I never get tired of listening to this CD. I grew up listening to these songs in the Methodist church. Carman adds a Holy Spirit newness and I can't stop singing these wonderful praises.



4. I love the classic hymns, I Surrender All by Carman moves your whole entire being. I live 40 miles to the nearest town, I put this album in and I'm praising the Lord all the way to town. Carman has a voice and sings these classic hymns that can bring you to tears. If your enjoy gospel music this is one to put in your collection. Blessings



5. My alltime favorite music artist, even though I'm much older than most of his fans. I've seen him in concert five times and am impressed with his style and his love for God. Carman can sing real well, also!

2. This cd is truly awesome and Bro Baldwin truly is an annoited man. I listen to this cd daily and it really helps lift my spirits. It truly addresses any situation and reminds you that there is nothing that GOD can't handle. Keep praisin' him Bro Baldwin.



3. I heard 'I STILL HEAR MOMMA PRAYING' on an internet radio station and decided to by this cd. I am truly happy with this cd.
   It is so inspirational that I play it everyday in my car and on my computer at work. I see in the other reviews that he made a second cd, I wish I new the name of it, I would easily purchase anything by this great artist. Chester, wherever you are I hope you are still sing his songs.



4. Chester DT Baldwin is an annointed singer and is very spirit filled. I was not blessed to be at his first recording but luckily I was there for "sing it on Sunday Moring II"(watch out for this it should be released in the spring 2002). All I can say is that his music continues to bless me and if you are looking for a blessing you should try this CD.



5. Look out Fred Hammond and the rest Bro.Chester DT Baldwin is on his way. This CD is what myslef and friends call our inspiration for the day . There is not many that I can listen to over and over again without getting tired of it. "Moma Prayed For Me" Is a testimony for anyone who can relate to.A mothers prayer or my case a grandmother's prayer. I never understood til becoming a mother myself what it meant that we live off others prayers and I know this song is my testimony. I was blessed to be in a new release Debut concert recently by Chester Baldwin and this man just keep doing it over and over again. "One In Christ " is the title look for it is the work of Mr.Baldwin and if you liked Sing It On Sunday Morning you must get One In Christ by Bro.Baldwin and the Southeast Texas Workshop Choir. His name may be or not onthe title but for sure the STW Choir title One In Christ.

5 comments about I Surrender All: The Clay Crosse Collection, Vol. 1.

1. I bought this cd for the song I Surrender All to use with a sermon about surrendering your "Isaacs" to God. I love the whole cd though. It is full of wonderful worshipful music.



2. His music lifts my soul and drifts me off to another land. Especially track #3 and 11; those are the songs that pull me through the hards times. The whole CD will touch your heart. You are missing something special if you don't have this CD.



3. When I first heard this CD was coming out with so few releases under his belt, I was surprised. I didn't figure they'd have enough material already. But when I saw the tracks, I knew I was wrong.

   Of course the title song was included, probably his best known song but a convicting song of commitment. But the songs range in style from ballad ("My Place is with You") to adult contemporary ("Midnight Cry") and light pop ("His Love's Comin' Over Me"). Then there are the fun songs "Saving the World" and "I Call Your Name." Yet Clay manages to handle each new style with ease.

   Unfortunately, Clay has a small following for such a big talent. Don't be left out. Get this collection and enjoy his rich vocals and some great songs.




4. I think Clay Crosse is a very good Contemporary Christian music artist. I liked all the songs. He's definitely an artist I'll be listening to more. As a Christian, also, some or most of the the songs were meaningful. If you haven't, I would recommend checking Clay out!



5. Clay Crosse is my all-time favorite Contemporary Christian singer. He has an amazing voice and an awesome testimony, and he has inspired me so much, especially with the story behind his latest CD "A Different Man".... I'm sure you'll be touched like I was. "I Surrender All" is one of Clay's best CDs. The compilation has all of the best songs from his other CDs, and they're all awesome!!! I love his music!!! I would recommend this CD to anyone and everyone.

1. I was looking for Christian music that was uplifting and devotional without being sappy and as an added bonus, something fun to sing along with.
   This album fits what I was looking for perfectly. The music is good, but it's the vocal's that I really enjoy. Different band members take turns with lead vocals, and I certainly have my fav's but they all vocalize well and harmonize well, also.
   The songs that are worth the purchase of the album, in my opinion are:
   You're the one he loves
   Has a light rock/anthem feel to it. The words are fantastic...just a glimpse.."There is someone, whose hope is diminished, need of a tender hand, there is someone whose faith is unfinished, need of a perfect plan...someone with a soul longing for truth, someone in search of living proof, well, if that someone is you......He's got the perfect way, He's got a perfect love, and guess what the real good news is, You're the one he loves." Love this song...

   Another couple of stars of the album are Ekklesia and What are we doing here? which speaks to enthusiasm or the lack there of in churches.

   All in all, a terrific album. I'd like to find more work by this group and, I really have to buy a copy of this title. I've checked it out of the library so often, it spends more time at my house than in the stacks.

   More abundantly was the first song i ever directed.Im 15 years old and Ricky dillard,James hall, and hezekiah walker are by far the best artists out there.Ricky dillard has an anointing that no one can touch!I have all 5 of his albums. make all his albums apart of your collection along with james hall and worship and praise, and hezekiah walker

1. fun music; perky and all that. a few good songs, but other than that, not much.



2. I was in my early-20s when I first saw the music video for Spinnin' Around on TV. I found myself watching music videos more than usual the next few weeks hoping to catch it again. The song was just so catchy, and these kids were fun to watch. It was shortly afterward when I heard my then 11 year old sister listening to them, and thought, Cool, that's the same group who sings Spinnin' Around! Things progressed, and my sister got this CD, and eventually would get all their others. Our mother even liked it. We took a family vacation one summer and litened to this CD over and over on the long drive 'cross country. None of us got tired of it. It really puts you in a good mood.
   
   These 5 very tallented kids were "tweens" at the time they recorded this album, so it appeals most to kids up to high-school age. But I'm now 29, and I still love them. Their music has a pretty heavy beat, and much of it is fast paced, as a review below referred to it as "Hyper Music" (LOL! Good explaination). It reminds me of a skating rink or bowling alley, with strobes and black lights. But the songs are so catchy, and dispite the constant beat, some are slow and quite pretty. And the message in the words is very uplifting and wholesome. I find thier music excellent to excersise to, particularly jump rope or roller blade.
   
   I like all their albums, but this is my favorite. Some of the songs on their later albums have even a heavier beat and sound too "rappy" for my personal taste. This album just seems more innocent while still being upbeat and fun.



3. This record is full of really well produced and performed music that has a great message. I can't think of anything I don't like about it.



4. I absolutely love this CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has really good songs and they are a very good group!!!! I love all the songs on it and i would definetely recommend it!!!!! I am like the biggest Jump5 fan ever!!!! if you want to support them here are the other cds they have out:

1. Great sophomore attempt by this upcoming star. A few of the songs on this CD are a bit too poppy and produced for my tastes (i.e. Self Portrait and Try So Hard) "Anywhere" captures best the beautiful writing and heartfelt simplicity of Stephanie's music. My favorite is "Let Me Know" for it's spirituality and storytelling.

1. I was able to see Erin live at the MOPS convention this past September 2004! She was the highlight of the convention for me!
   She and her husband write most of the songs she sings, which gives the songs more passion and depth. Her vocals are incredible and her songs are full of praise and worship for the LORD! She uplifts me!My daughters love singing her songs too. If you love Ginny Owens or Sara Groves you will fall in love with Erin O'Donnell! You won't be disappointed!



2. I also saw Erin in concert but Dec 2003 with David Phelps and i was hoping she would stay out longer! I'm a big music person and she has definite talent as a singer overall. I suggest this CD to everyone. The music and lyrics just envelope you from when you first play it. Worth EVERY penny you spend on it!



3. I saw Erin in concert in August, just before this album was released. Hearing the music there got me really excited about this album, and I have not been disappointed. If you like Sara Groves or Nichole Nordeman, you'll like Erin. Her lyrics are fabulous and she's so obviously worshipping God when she sings (also when she performs) that it's very inspiring. I can't recommend this album enough.
