4 comments about Hillsong: Saviour King Live.

  1. It's not necessary to be there to feel what the people there felt.
    God inspired music.

  2. Always awesome and inspiring. I love everything Hillsong and they've done it again with their newest praise and worship CD, Savior King. In Your Freedom and I Am Not Ashamed are my two favorites on this CD.

  3. excelente producto, llevo algun tiempo comprando en amzon...el dvd esta genial, puedes sentir la presencia de Dios al ver al los muchachos de hillsong adorando..lo recomiendo...si estas en latinoamerica..compra por amazon...

  4. This DVD is a nice companion to the Savior King album, just in a different arrangement then the CD. There aren't many bonus features on the DVD, probably because this album was recorded a little bit later than normal and they were pressed for time but it is still good. Darlene doesn't look as pale on this album as she did on Mighty To Save. The filming style is cutting edge but it didn't seem as jerky to me as past recordings. One or two of the songs is filmed half in black and white. The sounded is decoded two ways. basic and DTS surround sound. No Dolby Digital Surround but that's okay with me since DTS is far superior. Again, this is a great companion to the CD.

3 comments about Homecoming Picnic.

  1. I ENJOYED SEEING A SUMMER SCENE.IT ALSO SHOWS SOME OF THE OLD TIMERS AS WELL AS SOME NEW SONGS BY THE YOUNGER SETS, AND SOME OF THE CHILDREN OF SOME OF THESE DEAR ONES. GUY PENRODS DAUGHTER IS ON IT .

  2. I got this video along with Campfire Homecoming on the 4th day after order was placed. The packaging was exceptional. Two of the best Gaither videos in recent years. I will buy from Nickalucks again!

  3. The title of this may be misleading as this video is not just any old picnic. It is a time of fellowship in a relaxed setting which most of the Gaither fans prefer. Instead of a single sheet as a Chapter Insert the Gaithers have released this with an insert that not only includes the song titles but the verses and the name of the writer. You can sing along or not as you please.

    Songs include:

This Great Caravan Keeps on Rolling Along - Homecoming Friends
I'm Living in Canaan Now - HOmecoming Friends
Sky Full of Angels - TaRanda Greene
I Was There When It Happened - Ben Speer
Did You Ever Go Sailin - The Hayes Family
    Father Along - Michael English
I Heard It First on the Radio - Gaither Vocal Bank
Palms of Victory - Larry Ford, Ben Speer, Joy Gardner, Wesley Pritchard
He Pilots My Ship -Buddy Mullins, Mile Allen
Sweet Forgiveness - featuring Gordon Mote
The Sweetest Song I Know - Mike Allen, Russ Taff, Ben Speer, Johnny Minick, Michael English, Jessy Dixon. Folks this is also the title of a wonderful southern gospel video/dvd by the Gaither Homecoming Friends. It is listed on amazon.com.

Without the Lord - the Booth Brothers
Mama's Teaching angels How to Sing - Dottie Rambo (Dottie wrote this song)
What a Day That Will Be- Jim Hill (For Those of you unfamiliar with this song a few verses are - "what a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, when I look upon his face, the one who saved me with his grace, when he takes me by the hand......"

    Eastern Gate - Sheri Easter
Gentle Shepherd/ I Will Serve Thee - featuring Buddy Green on the harmonica. (the Gaithers wrote both of these songs - a few verses from I will serve thee - ("I will serve thee, because I love thee, you have given life to me, I was nothing, until you found me, you have given life to me....")

Look For Me - Tanya Sykes (written by Rusty Goodman)

    Many more including bonus songs.

Folks if you appreciate the reviews please vote. They take time and are meant to help you choose your selections with care.

  1. This is another off the chain CD! The songs are rich and full of the anointing.
Get ready to Worship, Praise and Worship some more!

  2. We are blessed to worship together at West A each Sunday as you hear it on the CD. The Mass Choir tears it up and then Bishop comes in with his smooth raspy worship. It's a blessing and a good time. All that is missing from the CD is the sermon :) You can check that out each Sunday at westa . org
    Until then, Pray Continually

  3. Very good. But not as much variety as earlier West Angeles Projects. It is worth having in your collection, however.

  4. Not only is this CD a listening pleasure but it is also anointed. It ministers to the heart, the mind and the spirit. It blesses over and over again.

  5. I just loved this C/D Perc, San Diego ca. you know me, I was one of the lead singers at Mount Zion. Praise God

  1. every song he sings is beautiful. he puts so much soul in his music especially gospel songs.

  2. This was everything i expected it to be but more than that it lifted my soul and restored my faith

  3. Elvis Presley was a versatile Artist, but to me his best stuff was always his Gospel stuff and that to me showcased his artistry better than anything. His voice was so well Produced and balanced when he performed Gospel music. this Compilations covers all of his best gospel tracks and then some. a must have for any Elvis fan.

  4. The old songs were not changed. They were juist as I rembered them as a child.

  5. The CD was beautiful and perfect. I used express delivery, and it came right on time for my mother's funeral. I was very pleased.

5 comments about Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.

  1. I love the CD as for the first 10 songs; songs 11 though 14 do not play; there is lots of static in song 11; 12 there is nothing, I have to forward to song 13 and 13 and 14 songs; again lots of static. I would love to receive another new CD.

  2. I waited so long for the recording of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus! When it came out, I purchased it right away. And though I love the CD--the songs are great, I feel cheated that the complete recording of Jesus, Jesus, Jesus is not here. I don't quite understand that. Does anyone have any thoughts or knowledge about that?

  3. Since I was born and raised in Brooklyn, I have followed Rev. Wright for a long time. This album has a few of his classics, along with some new songs.

  4. This is by far is the best CD that Timothy Wright has ever made. Starting with the theme song, the music is vibrant and diversified, a real change from the usual Timothy Wright CD's of the past. As always, the New York Fellowship adds its flair.

If you enjoy true praise, worship, and testimony this is the CD for you.

  5. Not much to say. The songs are Wonderful, The choir is Marvelous, The musicians are Rocking. Wheather you play it at home, or in the car, "You gonna have some Church". Excellent traveling music also. The entire CD is GREAT!!

5 comments about End of Silence.

  1. I enjoy the rock-ier side of Christian music, and this cd is really hot! Almost head banging music, with an orchestral backgrounds, it is different and diverse....should appeal to those Christian rockers who love intense lyrics and music to get you going!

  2. The best part about this album is how they integrate symphony strings into the heavy rock. the guitar riffs are pretty simple, the vocals are good, a little "emo" every now and then, and lyrics can be repetitive in a few places. It's a dark album with a bright message.

  3. Awesone CD, Awesome message! No need to listen to the crud on the radio. I still listen to it 6 months later!

  4. I had heard many great things about this album and this artist in general, and so I finally saw this album at an electronics store at a heavy discount and decided to pick this album up. I'm sure glad I did...this is an incredibly high-reaching debut with energy that really drives home the power of this band.

From the static-and-pop of the haunting intro, the listener can really get the sense of this album's power and mystique. The first full-length track, "Breathe Into Me", slams the hammer down upon the listener's ears, utilizing strings, surging guitar riffs, and raging vocals all thrown in your face. "Let Go", "Already Over" and "Lost" continue this same pattern, with Barnes' powerful vocals gliding over the brutally-effective music.

A standout track is "Pieces" which begins with a gentle piano and acoustic guitar and builds up to pounding drums, roaring guitars, and weeping strings over a six-minute period. The second half of the album, continues the aforementioned format, with more strings and even heavier guitars, really giving a climactic feeling to the album (see "Gave it All Away" and "Hide"). The closer, "Already Over, Part 2", ends the album with a quiet piano track that serves as the perfect closer for this epic album (although it is only 47 minutes long).

For a debut album, the energy of this band and the variety of effective techniques the musicians use is remarkable for a first time out, making this debut album a must-have. While I'm skeptical of the band's ability to portray the same effect live (because of the strings), this is a great debut album that will knock you off your feet and sweep you away with its energy and power. Buy it now!

  5. Product was in excellent condition when I received it.....because it was brand new. The band's good at what they do but I wouldn't recommend them - not a personal favorite.

  1. Kutless seems to be a little more harder as time goes by. this album is no exception. one track that stands out to me is "Beyond The Surface", but the whole album is awesome. get this for your collection to add to your musical palate. I have a whole list of recommendations, but I don't want to bore you with those.

  2. This is my first time buying a Kutless album and I can't stop listening to it! I will buy more of their stuff. I have enjoyed this group so much and so have my kids!

3.Beyond the surface-More heavy, really good, talks about finding an alternate solution to suicide. 10/10

12.Legacy-Talks about changing you your legacy in Christ. pretty hard song. 9/10

All I can say is that if you like christain rock and kutless then get this now dont wait another minute!!!

  4. I Like These Songs the First song i like that is fast beat for the first time is Somewhere in the Sky is only 3 seconds of Shouting in the Live From Portland is about 7 seconds . I like the album better. Second song Beyond The Survice . My Final Third Song Hearts of the INNOCENT. This is better than Hawk Nelson,K-j57 and Building 429. I like KUTLESS,NEWSBOYS,DAVID CROWDER BAND,TREE63,CHRIS TOMLIN,THIRD DAY and MICHEAL W.SMITH. Do Choose these artists what I like Buy this album and Strong Tower and Sea of Faces and Kutless and Live From Portland.

  5. I love Kutless! They are my favorite band ever! I've been to two of their concerts, and they're great guys. Both as musicians and people. I think this is my favorite of their CDs. Kutless is one of those bands that young teenagers and people in their 30s can listen to and enjoy together.

I've always felt strongly about what Hearts of the Innocent stands for. And a lot of their music, in all of their CDs are about stuff that I've thought about or I've experienced. I love that they care, and I love their music. I wear my Kutless T-shirt proudly and suggest them to anyone who's looking for great rock music.

  1. This was a very great album from pillar with unique songs and awsome guitars playing. Pillars song frontline was a major hit on this album witch i really thought was awsome but all these songs were great, this was a great album from them.

  2. I'm not Christian, in fact I don't believe in religion, but this is a very good album, with some catchy songs, good lyrics and musically good. A couple of songs I skip, but otherwise great.

  3. Pillar is back and now more rock then rap. They blow it away with more guitar and drum sounds and the production of this album is far superior to their previous albums. Pillar has matured in this album and with that comes a solid sounding album with well thought out vocals and instrumentals. They still have the talent of those awesome hooks that keep you singing along to every song. Awesome album that will leave you hypnotized.

  4. From a musician's natural perspective all I can say is this band can groove and rock at the same time. Some of the feel in this song is so tight it could make my grandma start krump'n. If you see this band in concert you'll know what I mean if you no anything about groove.

  5. This CD arrived on time and in perfect condition, and it was very well priced.

5 comments about All About Love.

  1. This album has to be the weakest album of all of SCC's current work. Granted it takes up the theme of love , mainly to his wife but I feel this was a very self indulgent effort and one that should have remained a private one. The songs just don't cut it and the bottom line is after hitting his stride this album really threw many SCC fans for a loop and one that I think many haven't gotten over when you look at the sales of the last 2 albums , which are stellar by the way. It has a few excellent cuts but that is all I can say . I have it to make my collection complete but I think I have played a handful of times which is an oddity for me when its comes to SCC recordings.

  2. I like some of SCC songs but this is by far his best album. It contains a lot of love songs that he sings to and about his wife. It just is a great love album for all of those not interested in the worlds point of view of love but a Godly point of view. I would recommend this to all of those in love or married who just need a great love album. Standout songs are "When Love Takes you In" "Youve Got ME" the cover song "Im gonna be (500 miles)" and "I will Be Here"

  3. This CD is amazing. Nearly every song is a "WOW!" I believe it is one of his best CD's, that has come from his heart. BUY IT!!!

  4. Due to the title, "All About Love" and after reading several reviews, I expected this CD to be very mellow and somewhat sappy. When I first played it, I was in a mellow mood and wanted to relax. However, the CD is not what I expected. It is classic SCC, with catchy rhythms and as always, with amazing lyrics. His remake of the Proclaimer's "I'm gonna be (500 miles)" is just as good, if not better, than the original. "We belong together (Tarzan and Jane)" is another upbeat number. The song, "11-6-64" is a touching number about the day his wife was born. Steven has added two songs from previous CD's, "I will be here" and "When love takes you in" which adds themselves nicely to this wonderful CD containing 16 songs. If you are a SCC fan, you definitely need to purchase this CD. At the same time I bought "All About Love," I also purchased Steven's CD entitled "Declaration." In my opinion, "Declaration" is one of the best CD's SCC has ever recorded. So, do yourself a favor - purchase both...You'll be glad you did.

  5. OK, folks....I'm an SCC fan from a ways back and I don't understand why this album wouldn't deserve anything but 5 stars. "500 Miles" I could do without and I always skip over it, but that's the ONLY low point on this CD. This one never gets old. The thinking behind "11-6-64" is so smart and FLATTERING to his wife. Wouldn't all women love for a man to write about how our husband's life changed the day we were born? The fact that he's acknowledging God's purpose for marital love is refreshing. And the hauntingly beautiful "When Love Takes You In" (yes, I know it's a re-release) makes the entire CD worthwhile. My sister adopted a little boy from Russia and I plan on framing the lyrics for her for Christmas. Buy this CD, you won't be disappointed.

5 comments about Shout to the Lord: The Platinum Collection.

  1. I bought the CDto replace one that my daughter had stolen from her car. I listened to it and loved it so much I purchased it for myself.

  2. It's a great praise and worship cd to listen to whether alone or with friends!

  3. "Shout to the Lord: Platinum Collection" is a two-cd compilation of the very best from one of the most gifted, inspired worship bands in the world today (yes they are that good!). Based at Hillsong Church in Australia, this band, led by tremendously talented singer/songwriter Darlene Zschech. "Shout to the Lord" is the most well-known song from the album, but every song on both cds is amazing!

Each CD starts out with a set of about 4-5 really uplifting, energizing praise and worship songs like: People Just Like Us, He's Real, My Redeemer Lives, Touching Heaven Changing Earth, and God is in the House. (think amazing gospel vocals, dazzling guitar and bass riffs, with a driving beat and a great message of hope).

Interspersed on the CDs are also some more mellow, contemplative ballads, that brought tears to my eyes and joy to my heart like: I will Run to You, Jesus, What a Beautiful Name, and Potter's Hand, among others. They are rich with beautiful harmonies, singable melodies and amazing but not overdone instrumentation. There are many songs on these two discs that are great for use with a congregation or group, particularly the more meditative songs like "Jesus What a Beautiful Name" or "I will Run to You."

This collection is powerfully moving, not to mention GREAT music, by amazing musicians. God is definitely "in the house" (quoting song of same title on the CD) on this one! Definitely check it out! You will be forever changed and uplifted!

  4. This certainly is a moving album, having you hopping around your house, jumping, dancing, and praising the Lord! (And I don't even attend a church like that!) I scratched up my first disc so I'm looking into buying this CD again, but it's so hard to find! It's a shame that it's hard to find because this CD is certainly a classic. This is Darlene Zschech and Hillsongs' best album with all of their best songs. This live album makes you feel as if you're really in a worship arena. I prefer the first disc, but both CDs are a great blessing. A must for anyone who loves praise and worship music.

  5. I haven't purchased the CD yet, but I love the song "Shout To The Lord." This song will truly get your spirit lifted and you'll be so amazed that the song seems like it was writen just for you to sing. I've always been a skeptic of my own singing voice even though alot of people have told me differently, but the Holy Ghost led me to record myself singing wth this song on my own personal cassett recorder. Though I'm not Nashville or Branson or Hollywood material, I really felt for the first time in my life that my singing ability in this song was really good! Praise Be To God!!!!!!! Glory to the most Holy...amen and amen!!!
Check it our for yourself, I'm sure you'll truly be amazed and you'll experience a closer-ness with the Holy Ghost for sure!!!!
